"I hope so," Aurora whispered, shaking her head. Her green eyes were vivid and wide, but seemed to have a hint of sadness to them. Sighing, she half smiled back at Jatan and glanced around the plane, seeing if there was anything they needed. Her fingers groped at her necklace, twirling and untwirling the heart locket repeatedly.

His words shocked her a bit and she grinned up at him, him being taller than she was. "Thanks, that's sweet," she said softly with a hint of excitement. His words seemed genuine, and he was so cute when he smiled at her. Her buzz faded as she frowned a bit, raising an eyebrow. "Are you sure? I don't want to see something you don't want me to see," she warned. She had only seen the two girls' pasts, not looking into the boys' past in case they'd get angry. Her power freaked her out a bit, especially from having seen what she had of the plane and why they had crashed.

However Aurora was glad that she had that power and not the other's, she wouldn't want them to see their past. It wasn't the brightest or best of places, and she certainly didn't want anyone pitying her. She hated showing vulnerability, had already shown enough since the crash, and her past would just make her a weak link in the group.

Mitchell raised an eyebrow as the energy sucked back into Jenna, as if she just simply absorbed it like a sponge in water. He hesitated before saying anything, still watching to see if anything else would happen. "Yeah. Everything's been weird today," he said with a half smile, chuckling a bit and putting a hand to the back of his neck.

As he watched Jenna get up, he rushed forward, wanting to help her up. His mother had raised him to be a gentleman, and it wasn't very courteous to just watch Jenna push herself up. Stepping towards her, he reached out a hand and helped pull her up, offering her a reassuring shrug. "Hey, it happens. Don't worry about it. We should go to Benny though, he could probably use some water," he replied. So one of them had already broken, at least in a way. It wouldn't be long before the others started crumbling, and he wondered who was next. Shell seemed to be trying to hold herself together, probably didn't want the others to see her weak. He hadn't seen Aurora for a while, so he wasn't sure. The guys would certainly be last, he knew they didn't want to lose their strength or macho vibe.

With that he turned around, vaguely seeing Benny and Shell come towards them. Gritting his teeth, he walked up to them, meeting them halfway.

((Sorry guys!! I'm coming home today so I'll be on again!))

Seeing Aurora's excitement made Jatan grin back at her. He was so glad he had said the right thing. Jatan couldn't imagine what she was going through, having the power. Eye's on her face, he watched as her excitement fell off her face. "I promise Aurora. As long as you make me a promise that you won't tell anyone what you see, look away." He grinned at her to show that he was being honest.

Jatan didn't know why but he couldn't help but trust Aurora. He liked her personality and he wanted her to have someone that she could talk to. Someone that didn't mind her being able to see their pasts. It had to be hard knowing that if you touched someone you could see everything. He wouldn't have been able to deal with it.

"Thank you," Jenna said as Mitchell helped pull her up. Such a gentleman..she thought to herself. That was a first for her and she couldn't help but shake her head. Where she lived all the guys were jerks and would push you down rather help you up.

Frowning when Mitchell said that Benny could use water Jenna picked up her bags. "What happened?" She called after him as he walked away. Shifting her bags she jogged to catch up with him. When he stopped she threw the bags on the ground.

Jenna gave Benny an apologetic smile when Him and Shell got to them. "Sorry for not seeing if you were ok. Had a mini meltdown. I heard you needed water?" Sticking her tongue out and biting it in concentration she stuck her hand out, palm down. Still biting her tongue Jenna slowly brought her hand up. A thin line of water started to form, growing longer. Turning her hand over the water formed a ball in her hand. "Ok what do you need to water for?" She looked up and saw that his eyes were a little red. "Did you get something in your eyes?" She asked quietly.

As Shell neared Jenna and Mitchell, she looked at the young man she'd scolded not a moment ago, and came to a halt, see could see that look on his face. Something unwelcoming about it reminded her of certain past faces, they flashed up in her memory and she compared it.. No she didn't believe he was the same kind of man, but the look, nonetheless, terrified her internally. She lowered her head a little, but then turned away, walking back up the ridge, best not to bother.. She trudged back up to the abandoned bags and the fallen axe, picking it up and resting it over her shoulder, she'd almost forgotten entirely about the medical kit until she realized it wasn't on the ground nearby, but it was past Jenna and Mitchell..

She simply shook her head to herself and carried on along the cliff-side. it was a good spot, it overlooked a cove-like area, a beach at its foot and what looked like a sheltered cave.. If anyone was good at fishing, they'd probably be able to catch a couple around here. Her eyes turned back to the jungle like horizon of the island. It seemed pretty large but she could only assume it was a solitary island, though if she explored a bit she probably could make sure..

"Aw, babe," Benny chuckled, cupping the water in his hands and splashing it across the area of his eyes mostly, the cool water really helped to soothe it, though he rubbed them a little afterwards, "Ever have, like, a football field's floodlights flash in your face? Oh man you could totally make a tongue twister outta that.. Well anyway, that's totally what I just felt like, things were way too bright, I'm a fan of sunshine but that is totally not how much I wanted." He tried to explain, hell he didn't understand all this technical crap like how he nearly got blinded by the world being bright, everything looked almost normal when he was wearing shades and looking out under the leaves Shell had put him beneath, did that mean he could see in dark places if he concentrated?
"Shell, like, totally helped me see again, ain't that right?" He looked around, opening his eyes a moment, then looked around again, "Woah.. Did she like, learn to vanish too or somethin'?" He asked, "Hey Shell, yer a total babe!" He stated out loud then cringed as if expecting a slap, just like she'd threatened, but then he opened an eye and looked around, nothing.. Maybe he just wasn't paying attention all that well when she vanished...

Aurora nearly hopped in excitement, glad at least one person wasn't disapproving of her power, or shunned it. "Pinky promise," she state happily and laughed a bit. She reached out tentatively, eyes crinkling as she smiled. Her left hand interlocked with his right and she jolted a bit, but didn't break eye contact. She still wasn't used to the hurtling feeling as the visions intruded in her mind.

The British girl saw a small girl who looked a bit like Jatan. In quick succesion she saw the girl looking sick and pale, growing ever worse as the mental images continued. Next was a grave marker, and who she figured was Jatan's father mysteriously disappearing. Questioning from cops, a woman similar to Jatan becoming depressed, and Jatan taking care of her. She saw him running after, and then Aurora pulled her hand away.

Opening her large green eyes, Aurora's mouth fell open. His childhood wasn't all bright and dandy eithers. The visions had made Aurora, who was a tad sensitive, tear up a bit and she threw her arms around Jatan, hugging him tight. "I'm so sorry," she whispered to him, tilting her head up and standing on her tip toes.

"No problem, me lady," Mitchell joked to Jenna and bowed playfully before the others were upon them. He watched in a confused manner as Shell walked away, looking away from his expression. Sighing, Mitchell shook his curly brown head. "Damn conscience," he muttered to himself, regretting for being rude to Shell. They were all stressed in these situations.

Stuffing his hands in his back pocket, Mitchell slowly followed Michelle and stood at the cliff, looking down. He wasn't afraid of heights, and rather enjoyed the view. "Beautiful, isn't it?" He asked and surveyed her out of the corner of his eyes. Nudging her gently, so as to not put her on edge, he smiled a bit. "Sorry about back there. Just stressed, ya know?" He apologized, not wanting them to be on pins and needles with one another.

Grinning Jatan watched as Aurora grabbed his hand. When she jumped lightly he knew she was seeing parts of his past. Straight-faced, he watched her face as she saw everything. He was taken by surprise when she threw her arms around him. Still for a second Jatan wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her softly.

Looking down into her eyes he shrugged and attempted a smile. "It's ok Aurora, you don't need to be sorry about it." This time when he smiled it wasn't so sad. Leaning his head down he kiss her cheek softly then pulled back. "Thank you though," he said warmly. "So you don't see something every time you touch someone?"

Jenna watched as Benny used her water and washed his face. Then she laughed loudly when he joked about the tongue twister. Shaking her head she listened to him try to explain what had happened. "I have never had that happen to me before but I can imagine the pain! I'm sorry!" She said and squeezed his shoulder in a comforting way.

Turning her head she spotted Mitchell walking over to Shell. "They're over there," Jenna said and pointed to them. "You're lucky she's not by you or you'd probably would have gotten hit," she said with a chuckle. "Come on let's go over to them." Grabbing up as many bags as she could carry she trudged over to them.

Seeing the water she made a happy noise and dropped the bags. "Anyone fancy a swim?" Not waiting for an answer Jenna kicked off her sandal's and walked over to the cove, expertly diving into the water. Under the water Jenna opened her eyes and looked around. It was absolutely beautiful under there and she spotted underwater caves. Excited she kicked her way to the surface. She was definitely going to have to explore them later on. For now she was content to float in the water.

[Sorry I haven't replied sooner, my brains been a bit blank]

Shell flinched when Mitchell touched her, withdrawing from him a little but looked at him with slightly pained eyes, she swallowed closing the fingers on her one hand into a fist and shifted her jaw slightly, turning away from Mitchell and lowering her head a little,
"
Sorry.." She spoke quietly, though turned to watch as Jenna dove into the water. Considering she'd done so from the top of a cliff-side.. She was certainly a lot braver than she seemed, but that was still a very, very stupid risk to take. Shell couldn't heal broken bones, heck, she didn't know if she herself would ever experience it now that she was near invulnerable,
"I'm sure everyone is stressed right now.. But I'm sure I'm the oldest here.. I've done some training as a medic, you're my responsibility if any of you get hurt." She placed the axe down and folded her arms, hugging herself a little, "I'm just.. Not a people person.."

Benny grinned a little when she said he would have gotten a slap,
"I was like, totally expecting it, babe," He replied, though looked at the rest of the items being left behind. Particularly, the medical box Shell had left behind. He grabbed up what remained and followed on after Jenna, though seeing her dive, he smirked a little. He was glad he'd worn his beach shorts underneath, ready to hit the waves right away.
He grinned over at Mitchell and Shell, stripping his jacket, boots and slacks, though he left his vest on, took a few steps back then launched himself forward. Perhaps a little further than he intended but he simply whooped with joy while he rose through the air, spun and took a diving position mid-air,
"Cowabungaaaaa!" He yelled, hitting the water with an almighty splash, like a missile sinking into the water.

"If he drowns, remind me to mess up on my CPR.." Shell muttered to herself, placing her hands on her hips and shaking her head, "We're not even sure the water here is safe.."

((Don't worry about it! :) ))

Her sun kissed cheeks flushed the color of roses as he kissed her cheek and her eyes widened. Grinning, she looked down and tried to calm her burning cheeks. At his question she shook her head, biting her lip as she tried to think of how to explain it to him.

"It's weird, I mean... No. I think I can control it if I try. But earlier I just looked at Jenna and saw part of her past," she replied and her brow furrowed, thinking of what she had seen. Mitchell was the only she hadn't looked into, but she didn't want to do it without him knowing and then having him find out. She could just imagine how angry it could make a person.

"Kinda glad no one else has that power, ya know? My past isn't the prettiest either," she replied, her accent coating her soprano toned words. For a second she thought she heard rustling in the plane, and she jumped a bit. Her green eyes glanced around and she frowned, trying to figure out if she was just hearing things. "Should we get going," she asked, the noise in the plane having made her uncomfortable. The plane could quite possibly explode, and that wouldn't be something she'd enjoy.

Mitchell noticed Shell's flinch, but said nothing. He merely smiled softly at her and laughed as Jenna and then Benny flung themselves off of the cliff. He wouldn't mind going for a swim, but he wasn't sure if that fact would upset Michelle.

"You're right. But don't put all the responsibility on yourself. We're in this together, you know," he said and shrugged, kicking off his shoes and socks and enjoying the feeling of the ground between his toes and on the bottoms of his feet. With a mischevious grin he looked back up and laughed at her statement. He peered over the cliff and saw Jenna and Benny swimming just fine.

"Hey, have a little fun. This was supposed to be a vacation, and seeing as we're not dead we might as well enjoy our private island," he said and pulled off his shirt, the sun glinting off of his nicely muscled body. He stretched and prepared to jump in, but first looked to see if Michelle would join him.

((Sorry it's so short! Have a lot of RPs to reply too >.<))

"Aw, damn," Jake groaned as he pushed himself up, suitcases spilling off of his well-developed shoulders. "What happened?" Absently, he noticed he was on the wall of the plane, and that the floor was now a wall. After a few seconds of looking, he found his sister, buried under another pile of suitcases. The other kids must have brought a lot of stuff from home. Who could blame them though? A two week vacation was a long time to go without your things.

"Tali, wake up," he said, pulling several suitcases off of her petite frame. A quick lookover for injuries revealed that she had a few gashes and scrapes, but no major wounds. At least that he could see. Her jeans were soaked in a warm liquid, which Jake assumed to be blood. Hurriedly, he peeled off her jeans, staring in confusion as he saw no injury. Cautiously, he sniffed the fabric before whipping his head back. It was obviously urine, but Tali hadn't wet the bed in four years. Unless she started up again while he was away, and never told him, she had suffered an injury to her bladder, and possibly other internal organs.

Balling the soaked denim up, Jake held it to his sister's nose. The strong odor would have to do, considering there was no ammonia around to use. Suddenly, Tali coughed violently and woke up, eyes wide. Apparently, she had come to the same conclusion as he had concerning the orientation of the plane. "You might want to change, Squirt," Jake said, tossing her her soaked jeans as she struggled to her feet as he went to inspect the door. Useless. They'd have to find another way out. The door was to misshapen to be opened. Turning back to his sister, he found her with a clean pair of jeans halfway up her thin legs, pink Hello Kitty panties easily visible. She gave him a glare as he chuckled. He knew that her size prevented her from wearing age-appropriate clothing, but it was still adorably funny. Sixteen year old clothing didn't come in sizes for seven to eight year old children, which was about how large Tali was.

The jeans weren't much better though. They were decorated with ladybugs, flowers, and butterflies depicted with sparkling rhinestones of girly colors such as pink, purple, yellow, and light green, as well as red for the ladybugs. They were also rather baggy on her, being a size, maybe two, too big. The shirt was simply pink, with hearts around the hem. It also had a fair amount of ruffles around the sleeves and hem below the hearts, and hung to her knees.

"We'll need to take care of those gashes after we get out of here," he said into the silence. "Grab our suitcases. I think I left my multi-tool in it," Jake continued as he examined the door again. It was thin enough that a few blows from his hatchet might open it.

After a few moments, Tali had found the tool and given it to her brother while she held the suitcases. Jake had quickly turned the tool to its hatchet mode, praising God that the military had gifted him with it on his first day. Bracing himself, Jake raised the tool above his head and brought it down into the metal door with a loud bang. There was obviously a dent from where the blade had struck the door, so eagerly, Jake continued. After a few more blows, there was a decent slash that he could look through. He had discarded his shirt shortly after beginning, as the heat accumulated. Sun-darkened muscles, well-toned from his time in the service and on the ranch, shimmered with sweat in the dim light as he raised and brought down the hatchet methodically.

"I think you might be able to get through there, Squirt," Jake said, breathing a little heavily after all the exertion. "Here's the screwdriver. See if you can get the hinges off." He watched as her tiny body slipped through the hole, disappearing except for her legs on the other side. After a few moments, the door fell into the room where Jake was, causing him to jump back. He took the tool that Tali offered back, shoving into his pocket as he grabbed the suitcases and tossed them up to his sister before crawling after them. Absently, he looked himself over as he grabbed a new shirt from his suitcase. There were a few bruises, and a couple of cuts and scrapes, but he believed that Tali had it a lot worse. He quickly pulled the green Aeropostale shirt over his head.

As he and his sister started walking up the plane, he noticed the wide look to her eyes was still there, showing why she had been so quiet. She was probably terrified. Suddenly, she made a choking sound, and flung her hand up to point down the plane. Jake followed her finger, and immediately noticed the two others up towards the front.

"Hello there!" Jake called out, ignoring his sister's nonverbal protests. She had always been shy. "Are you alright?" Despite his own belief that they were harmless, Jake didn't take another step closer to the brunette girl and the blonde boy.

((Whoo we have everyone now!!:)) What do we want the order of posting to be now??))

Watching Aurora's cheeks turn pink Jatan smiled a bit. "Well everyone is just going to have to deal with it. It's not your fault you can see our pasts. Plus like I said you can work on me to learn to control it." Jatan gave her a charming grin. It faded away as she said her past wasn't the prettiest. Seeing her jump Jatan frowned and looked to where the sound was coming from.

Then when the banging started happening Jatan grabbed Aurora's hand and started pulling her to the door. "That doesn't sound good, your right we definitely should go," he said and continued walking towards the exit. But when he heard a guys voice he stopped. Puzzled Jatan turned around and saw a very small girl and a guy. "Uh yeah were alright! Are you guys?" Cursing under his breath he looked at Aurora. "I feel horrible..why didn't any of us check the whole plane before we left?" Jatan couldn't believe the two of them had been stuck there for lord knows how long.

Laying on top of the water Jenna closed her eyes and just bobbed along. She was lucky and had worn shorts and a tank top on the plane, so she didn't feel the need to change into a swimsuit. Hearing Benny's yell she opened her eyes and saw him jump off the cliff. From down there she had to admit it was a long ways down. But she was good at jumping off high stuff into the water.

Cursing when she realized Benny was aiming right at her she flipped over and swam a few feet away before he splashed into the water. Grinning she laughed and dove under the water. Swimming quickly over to him she pulled his foot before swimming back up to the surface. Squinting from the sun she looked up to the top of the cliff. "Come on in guys! The water is amazing! There's some underwater caves that I'm going to check out!" Jenna yelled up to them.

Shell stared at Mitchell in that same dull manner she normally had and folded her arms, shaking her head, she didn't approve that he was treating this in such a casual manner, she shook her head a little and waved towards the cliff edge, he could go diving if he wanted but this was a waste of what precious time they had to set up some shelter and a camp. She just tutted to herself quietly, looking over at where Benny had dropped the medical kit.. Best go check nothing was broken she supposed..

Mitchell may have been right that they were all in this together, but Shell felt like she was the only one taking the true gravity of this situation seriously.. This wasn't some stupid damn vacation anymore, they were stuck on an island int he middle of nowhere, probably with no radio and no way off, just the slight chance that maybe they could signal a passing plane or a boat if it ever came..
But then maybe she was wrong and this island was[ a resort of some kind, heck there could even be civilization.. That way if they explored maybe they wouldn't be stuck after all. Still, the situation wasn't exactly agreeable.
She knelt by the medical box, placing the fire axe next to herself and began checking the materials inside. Nothing seemed shattered, thank goodness for plastic bottles.. Everything else was pretty much fine. At least she knew there was one person who would never need aid again.. Herself.. Especially if this strange ability of hers was permanent..

Benny laughed once he finally rose to the surface, chuckling appreciatively for the cool water, in truth though, even when spending so much time at the beaches, he liked lake water more, It always seemed cleaner to him. Maybe they'd find something like that here, or a waterfall or two.
He looked over at Jenna, then doze under again. It was odd but his body felt so.. smooth now, as though his movements had become easier to control. He pushed underwater to swim beneath her then popped up out of the water behind, wrapping his arms around her,
"Gotcha, babe!" he chuckled, feigning a pretentious biting motion to her neck before releasing and diving again, going for the circling shark' sort of motion.

Whipping her head around, tensing to prepare for whatever would pop out from the behind the door, Aurora sighed in relief when she saw a tall male and short female walk out towards them. However she wasn't relieved for how long when she realized just how severe the situation was. How could they have forgotten two people in the plane?!

She stepped forward, carefully climbing over discarded furniture that was strewn about, putting her long arm out for balance. "We're fine. Are you OK?" She asked, accent strong and her friendly nature taking over. She saw the few cuts and gashes and frowned, looking around. "We don't have the medical kit do we?" She asked, not seeing it and shaking her head. She stopped just a few feet away from the pair, her brown hair surrounding her like a chocolate halo.

"I'm Aurora," she said and stuck her hand out. She'd have to fill them, and the rest of the group, in about what she had discovered about the plane. She tilted her head in curiosity as she looked at the two, brother and sister maybe?, wondering if they'd discovered any extra abilities.

Her eyes took in the small but quite pretty girl with lovely red hair, who was wordless behind the tall male. She had to crane her head a bit to look at him. Though she was tall for a girl, he was over half a foot taller than her. She blinked her emerald eyes and grinned, flashing her pearly whites. Why were there so many cute guys on this trip?

Mitchell sighed, watching as Shell walked away. He wasn't quite sure why she was so serious, but in a way he knew. She was taking the plane crash harder than the rest of them. And he knew he should have been more serious, but that wasn't his way of dealing with things.

When things got hard, he liked to laugh it out, make up for it by joking around. That or sports, but there wasn't much chance of that here. He figured they all coped in different way. Backing up a few foot, the curly haired male sprinted for the edge of the cliff and dove off, bringing his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arm around them.

"Cannonbaaaaall!" He shouted as he plummeted down like a missile, not considering it would be a long trek up back to the top of the cliff. He would deal with that later. As he had planned, Mitchell landed right beside the pair, a satisfying large splash of water showering over both of them. As he went under he stretched his body, swimming away from in front of the two.

Popping up behind them, he splashed them water and grinned, the water the perfect temperature. It was crystal clear blue and perfect, and he wondered what island they were even on. The pamplet hadn't said anything too specific.

"Yeah, we're fine," Jake called out in response, shaking Aurora's hand in a firm grip. "I'm Jake, and this is my sister Tali. Is everyone else okay?" The two seemed nice enough, though Tali was still practically quivering behind him. It would take her a while to warm up to them. Funny enough, they probably saw her as a child of seven or eight right now due to the clothes, though Tali would straighten that out soon enough.

"How long have we been crashed?" Jake asked casually as he hoisted his sister to his back with a yelp. She didn't protest though, which was strange. She must've realized how hard it would be for her to climb over the seats. He was still holding the suitcases too. Silently he praised God for the training he went through in the service as he climbed over several rows of seats, leaning a hand back in case Aurora needed it. When the got to the front, where the other boy still was, Jake offered his hand. "Jake," was all he said, though he said it politely. Gently, he set his sister on the floor/wall, and looked out the gap where the door had been. It wasn't that far to the ground, for him anyway. It'd probably break Tali's leg.

He sat, feet dangling off the ledge before he turned himself around and began descending. He dropped the last foot or so and landed softly, gesturing up to his sister to drop. Eyes screwed shut, she slid off off the ledge, and grunted when he caught her. The suitcases had gone down first, and Jake quickly opened his, pulling out the walkie-talkie. "This is Phantom calling any and all Army personnel, over," he said into the device, awaiting a response. Nothing but static. "Tali, get yours out. And keep it with you. If we get separated, I want to be able to find you." Silently again, he offered up thanks for solar-powered, Army-grade communication devices.

"Have any of you guys set up base camp?" he said, directing the question to Aurora. Tali already had her walkie-talkie out and clipped to her waist.

Tali tried to sidle behind her brother more and more as the conversation went on. She was wary of strangers ever since... that. Jake was still clueless about the whole thing, as he probably would have killed the man that did it. It still gave her nightmares though. Not to mention everyone she didn't know seemed to look at her in the same way he had.

She let herself be picked up, not only because she knew it was pointless to resist, but also because she wasn't feeling too good. No matter which way she turned her head, she saw a light that didn't go away. And her right side was hurting. Tali was definitely worried he would have asked about her accident. It was true that she had started wetting the bed after he left, though only after the... incident.

She had to admit that the walkie-talkies had been a good idea, even though they only brought them so they could talk after lights out. Her scrapes and gashes were stinging a little, though she tried her best to ignore it as she walked back over to her brother, together waiting for the other two.

Quiet Jatan watched Aurora make her way over to the duo. He was about to go himself when they all started back. "I'd say we've been crashed for a few hours, not to long." Jatan said as they were walking over to him. Taking Jake's offered hand Jatan shook it. "Jatan," he replied.

Instead of jumping down after the two of them Jatan waited for Aurora. When she did get over to him he spoke to her in a low tone. "We should wait until we find the others to tell them about the powers." He didn't want to just come out and be like oh hey have you noticed anything weird happening to you? Like fire coming out of your hands or causing pain by your touch. Yeah that would go over well. The two of them would think he's off his rocker.

When Benny popped up and wrapped his arms around her Jenna squealed then broke out in laughter. She continued to laugh as he made a circular shark motion. Hearing Mitchell yell cannonball Jenna looked up, still chuckling. When he splashed near her and Benny she turned around quickly so she didn't get all the water in the face. Then when he splashed them again she splashed back.

Swimming out of splash range she smiled at them. "Hey there's some underwater caves down here. I want to go explore anyone game?" One of the things she absolutely loved was exploring caves underwater. Some of them led to the most spectacular places. Right now she could use something like this to take her mind off of everything.

"Well yer certainly a curious lil siren, aintcha babe?" Benny remarked, although he wanted to continue swimming and playing about, he was thinking about how they'd been talking of preparing a shelter. they didn't really know what time of the day it was, so it would be pretty bad if there wasn't any shelter set up when things got dark, he was treading water as he turned to look over at Mitchell,
"Hey, we best go start strippin' the plane, dude, before the sun heads on down, know what I'm sayin?" He mentioned, swimming for the beach front that laid to the side of the cliff, they were lucky it dipped down sharply otherwise diving would have been suicide.

Once he was clambering on to the beach, he could feel the sand beneath his feet, it all felt so.. Natural now.. He'd never appreciated it all like this before was that some other part of his own powers? It was like when he was running up the cliff, he just felt at ease. He took another deep breath, rustling his hair, though it stubbornly placed itself back into the way he'd gelled it previously.
He looked up and to his left, staring at the cliff side as it sloped up high, even catching a glimpse of Shell. Best to leave her alone for now, she didn't seem the highly sociable type. But he wasn't finished yet, he could at least try to be friends with her.

Benny stretched, padding in the direction of the plane, he could barely feel anything sharp from the rocks below his feet, the sand fading away the further in he got, but he could still feel the rough surfaces. Normally he would have been more wary about it all. How weird. Oh well!

Shell had finished checking the medical kit, closing it and separating it from the bags, but then she'd begun looking for her own bag, her trousers were slightly tattered thanks to the battering she took in the plane and during the crash and she needed a new shirt to cover the scarring on her back.
Sure enough her own bag was here, so he pulled it open, quickly swapping her damaged trousers for new ones and grabbing a plain white shirt, short-sleeved, though she left the front unbuttoned. It was too warm to bundle up so she preferred to keep it aired.
The woman stared over, seeing Benny tracking back towards the plane. Probably going to work on ripping it apart.. A strange concept to think of, at first, but he did prove to have super strength of some kind.. If anyone could do it, it would probably be that surfer boy.. She wondered for a moment if his eyes were alright, but he didn't seem to be having any trouble, so they were probably fine.

The British girl smiled at him and the girl, eyes friendly and warm as she looked at her. She was dressed in rather child like clothing, but her face was a bit more mature than a child's. She seemed extremely shy, so Aurora wouldn't press her or try to intimdate or scare her. The brunette got the feeling that the red head wasn't a child, so she made mental note to not talk to her like one. "Hi," she said to the smile girl and gave a light wave.

Her brow furrowed as she thought, not having worn a watch or made timing. "A couple hours max. There's four others," she replied and thought of them. Hopefully they hadn't gotten hurt or lost. That would make things that much more difficult and terrible. She sighed and grabbed Jake's outstretched hand to help her navigate back over the seats. She gently let it go when they were clear of the disbanded seats and strewn plane furniture and objects.

She watched the pair jump out of the door of the plane and raised an eyebrow at Jatan. "Yeah. Unless something happens with either one of them on the way back. Something weird happened earlier too," she mumbled, having not mentioned it to Jatan. "I was trying to walk and there were a few vines in my way. I just focused and they seemed to move out of the way," she whispered quietly. She watched as Jake used a walkie talkie to try and call out for someone. She shrugged a bit, mentally noting that he had military experience.

With a sigh she bent and swung her legs over the door of the plane. She didn't try to crawl down before jumping like Jake had, merely letting her hands slip off and falling, knees ready. She landed with a gentle but graceful thump; she had to admit that gymnastics and dancing came in handy.

Jake's question surprised her and she looked at him, rolling her shoulders a bit. "The others should be working on that now," she said. "We came back to get something of mine," she said and gestured at Jatan, waiting for him to join them.

Mitchell laughed as Jenna splashed back, treading water gently and enjoying the coolness of it. He was surprised it was this cool considering it was pretty warm on the island. Not too terrible, he had to admit though. He floated for a moment, tilting his head up towards the sun and closing his blue eyes.

He definitely wanted to explore the caves but knew now wasn't the time. Pushing his legs back under the water, he shook his head. "I wish, but Benny's right. We need to start working on a shelter," he said and frowned, taking a quick dive under the water. As he rose back up he whipped his hair, flicking Jenna with water. With a chuckle he swam to the shallow part of the water before standing, legs feelign heavy as he left the crystal blue sea of aqua.

As the trio descended to the plane, he too glanced at Shell. Grinning, he shot ther a thumbs up before turning away. With a frown he noted it had been a while since Jatan and Aurora had left and wondered if they were alright. He was still in his pants, wet now that he had swam in them, but he didn't mind. The fabric now cooled his legs from the dip in the water and he stretched his arm muscles a bit, making a beeline for the crashed plane.

((Sorry it's so short and that I randomly threw in that part about Aurora moving the tree vines. She has the power of elemental manipulation and I'm just hinting at it. :) And I haven't been able to post because school just started for me.))

"Good. That means we weren't out very long," Jake said. He was wearing a watch, but the walkie-talkies also had a clock on them, so he wouldn't have to worry about how much time was left in the day. He just hoped that the others knew what they were doing, at least to some degree.

Jake nodded to Aurora's answer. It made sense that they would've found a place for to set up camp. "Tali, you go with Aurora and Jatan back to the camp. Help them set up shelter and whatnot, you know what needs done," Jake said, putting up a hand to silence her protests. He had a feeling that she would resist. They were strangers after all. But maybe that would help her get used to them. It wouldn't be good for her if she feared everyone for the rest of their time on the blasted island. "Please, Tali? I'm going to go get firewood. Be sure to mark a path to camp for me. Okay, Squirt?" That taken care of, he walked into the woods, pulling his multi-tool from his pocket, shaking his head to try and get rid of the strange light hanging out of the corner of his eye, and turning it to the hatchet. Then he started working, snapping branches and saplings to use for kindling. He'd come back for larger pieces later.

Tali couldn't help but push farther behind Jake as the taller and older girl waved and greeted her. She also couldn't help the shudder that racked her tiny frame. At least it hadn't been the boy. Her reaction would have been worse. It always was.

When Jake told her to stick with Aurora and Jatan, Tali pretty much had a heart attack. She couldn't stay alone with these people! But Jake didn't listen to her protests, though he did ask her to be cooperative. Mentally going over the scenario, she found it to be more important to help Jake than to protest. If sticking with them would help her brother, she would do it. Besides, it's not like she could carry much wood anyway.

Fearfully, Tali turned back towards the others and waited, certain that they would take her to where the others were setting up camp. Hopefully these people wouldn't protest her coming with them, though it would give her the chance to go back with Jake. Most of the kids in school had avoided her like the plague because of her size. Apparently it was uncool to be friends with the girl the size of a six or seven year old. These people didn't seem like that, though Tali couldn't be sure.

((That's ok! Real life always comes first! My wrist is really bothering me so I'm sorry if this post sucks lol. But I can only type little bits at a time.))

Hearing Aurora talk about moving the vines, Jatan decided to comment on it later when the other two knew about the powers. He didn't want them to over hear him talking. As Aurora jumped down from the plane he took one last look around. Making sure that they got everything they needed. Grabbing two small bags he went back to the door.

Tossing them out and on the ground Jatan crouched down the jumped. He landed with his knees bent and quickly stood up. Grabbing the two small bags and then walking over to the ones he had dropped previously he picked some of them up. Jatan glanced over to the girls and watched Tali's body language. He could tell she was afraid so he made sure not to get to close to her.

"Are you guys ready to walk back? We should be able to find them pretty easily. They were suppose to have marked the path they took." He smiled softly and looked at Aurora. "Is there anything else we should grab?"

Groaning Jenna had to admit they were right. There would be time for play later. Giggling when Mitchell flicked his hair and got her wet Jenna dove under the water one last time. When she popped up again she saw Benny and Mitchell walking away. She noticed that Shell was staying behind, but she couldn't make herself stay. Even though she felt horrible for feeling so, Jenna was still a little afraid of the older girl. Thinking about being right next to Benny and Mitchell she disappeared. Then reappeared by Mitchell's side with a grin. "There is no way I'm staying there by myself! To freaky and I can't let you guys do all of the work!"

Looking down at herself she frowned. What if she could take all the water out of her clothes? That would solve walking around it wet clothes. Sticking her hand out in front of her, palm facing her body she concentrated. Soon water started to come off her clothes and flow over her hand. Grinning Jenna continued to do it until she was completely dry. All the water that was soaking up her clothes and hair was now coating her arm in a thick sort of water cast. Still walking Jenna looked at her arm and bit her lip. It was extremely awesome but totally freaky.

Smiling she looked at the others. "Anyone else want to get dry really really quick?" She asked them, water still coating her arm. Jenna couldn't wait until they got camp set up so she could experiment with her new powers. They all still needed to test there limits and see if using there powers harmed them.

[Three of them? Crim? xD Unless there's a fifth character I wasn't keeping track of only Benny and Mitchell were going back to the plane.
Also I've been a bit busy lately too, so, sorry if I cant get some immediate posts out]

Shell smirked a little, seeing Jenna teleport to the side of the others did show she was picking up quickly on her ability. Benny's, on the other hand, seemed to be a little more unusual, he appeared to be able to smell things others cant, enhanced senses perhaps, then that thing with his eyes, and his superhuman strength.. She could only assume it was some form of feral ability. The simian ancestry was perhaps a key role in this, but then what about those eyes of his? Definitely not apelike, but the strength was amazingly magnified. There was reason in some scientific circles to believe the early primitive humans were fare more powerful physically.. Similar to Gorilla's, or chimpanzees.

If she wanted to guess at their abilities, then ancestral evolution would have seemed obvious. But then one boy could start fires with his hands and the other was a glowing torchlight. That really made no sense on a scientific perspective. She thus dismissed the idea of their ancestry having involvement. Her own powers seemed to reflect on her past though, which she found curious.. An untouchable body and hands that would cause pain.. Yet she couldn't even declare it their pasts that gave them their capabilities because she couldn't be sure how the others pasts had developed them as people.
She certainly couldn't help but find some small appreciation for being nigh invincible.. But was she really? Or was there some limit? Some weakness she hadn't yet determined? She'd hit that plane as hard as she could and there wasn't a scratch on her, she couldn't even feel the impacts, suggesting her bones and muscles had this same invincibility, no impact trauma.
But it wasn't enough to conclude anything.. Not yet..

She got up finally, hauling the fire axe over her shoulder and planting the medical box on top of her bag, eyes looking towards the nearest tree. They needed something that would last relatively well.. Not a palm tree, A solid oak or the like would do nicely. After a while she spotted one further in, not too thick. She was no tree feller, but a good use of physics and carefully timed and aimed chops of the axe would do the trick nicely.. An amusing thought occurred to her.. Even if she didn't do it all properly, perhaps Benny could run headlong into it.. That would do the trick nicely..

"Aw babe! The wet look suited you!" Benny complained jokingly, pointing at her with both forefingers and winking, "I'm totally cool like this, lets hustle!" He turned on his heel and began running in the direction of the plane, again here was that sense of freedom rising inside him but this time his eyes weren't trying to blind him. He was actually going abnormally fast and he only realized it a bit too late when he'd reached it far ahead of Mitchell at the very least, Jenna could probably have teleported, but as he was running he realized he'd not considered stopping until he dashed right past Aurora, Jatan and the red headed girl.

This was followed by an almighty bang as he slammed into the steel chassis of the plane, leaving a visible imprint of himself upon the metal before practically peeling off and landing on his back,
"Oh dude... Wipeout.." He remarked weakly, reaching up to rub his face mainly.. That really, really hurt. Heck he was surprised he hadn't broken something. But maybe that was part of his super strength, like some kinda superhero, though he knew he was totally not superman. He could've kept running right through the plane.
And besides, his nose wouldn't bleed either, The surfer realized this as he sat up and looked at his hands, there was traces of blood.
But he didn't freak out like some people would, instead, he grinned in the direction of the others, even as the red stained his teeth,
"Anyone got like.. Some tissues or somethin'..?" Though he paused, looking at Tali
, "Y'should totally go see Shell up on the cliff for all that, she's got a kit."

((Okay guys, just wanted to clarify. The plane was actually just upside down. The door wasn't high up, but it's alright! We can just say it's slightly slanted , not totally sideways but at angle. I'll have to post tomorrow, super busy with school right now -.- ))

Aurora nodded to Jake as he walked off before looking back at Jatan. "I think we're good," she said and glanced back into the plane, looking at the angled door. It wasn't high off the ground, the plain was merely slightly slanted and she hadn't quite noticed that she had to jump to get down. Probably in the hectic moment of leaving the plane the first time she had forgotten or made no notice.

Her breathing stopped as she saw a flash running towards them, and then she heard a quite loud collision. She jumped back, eyes widened, and looked at the others to make sure they were okay. Tali looked quite unsure, probably not used to being around new people. So Aurora merely glanced at her before looking back in front of her.

She jogged closer to Benny, seeing he had run head first into the plane. She kneeled beside him and laughed, loving how optimstic it was. "Smooth move, slick," she replied and pulled off her shirt, revealing her golden shoulders and skin. She was still wearing a light gray tank top, and handed him the shirt to wipe away the blood on his face.

"Uh, this is Tali. We didn't see her or her brother, who's getting firewood, at first because they were still knocked out," she replied and smiled at Tali. "This is Benny, Jenna, and Mitchell," she said and pointed at each as she did so. She looked back at the others and frowned. "Shell is alone," she asked and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't comfortable with the fact that they had left her by herself.

Mitchell shrugged and laughed at Benny's comment. Though he had signaled an interest in Jenna, he wasn't the jealous type as it was and merely let the statement go. They weren't here for love or relationship anyways. They were here because the plane had crashed and they now had to try their best to survive. It was like a terrible episode of Lost.

"Nah, the water keeps it cool and repels some bugs," he said and looked at the trees around them. He was surprised no mosquitoes had decided to feast on them yet, and he also wondered if there was civilization on the island. He doubted it, just from his gut feeling, but decided they'd have to check later anyways.

As Benny ran forward, he rasied an eyebrow and watched. He had expected the male to run straight into he plane, and Mitchell was right. He couldn't help but laugh, though he did at first try to refrain from doing so. "Wow," he said quietly and shook his head, still grinning. His blue eyes lit up, the color of a clear sky.

He followed Benny's path, jogging now and making sure Jenna was following. Within a few moments they were with the others and Mitchell glanced over the small redhead. She seemed uncomfortable so he looked away, not wanting to frighten her. He remembered how he first felt when the crash happened, confused and not knowing what was going on.

"Yeah, I don't think she wanted to come," he said and shrugged, but stopped talking when he saw that Aurora wasn't too happy about Shell being alone. For a moment he thought he should have stayed, just in case something happened. He frowned and made a mental note to be sure to do that next time.

When he was introduced, he nodded at the girl and then looked off into the trees, trying to see if he could spot the girl's brother. Now there were eight of them, which would be tougher to ration and find food, but it could prove pretty handy. He wondered if they had found out if they had powers yet.

((Sorry it took me so long guys. I'm in school and in quite a few plays so its tough to post often, but I'll try my best. ))

Tali noticed the flash pass her eyes, followed quickly by a loud bang that set the birds flying and screeching away from their perches. Backpedaling in fear, Tali fell to her bum at the edge of the forest, peeking over her shoulder into the depths of the woods, obviously wishing she could be with her brother. The fear in her eyes gradually diminished to their usual suspicion and timidity once she realized there was no immediate threat. Absently, she plucked at leaves and grass that had stuck to her childish jeans, grimacing at the pain in her side and the light that wouldn't leave her alone.

Turning back to face the strangers once more after standing, Tali spoke for the first time since waking up. "H-Hi," she said, waving shyly. She knew how childish the gesture, and clothes, must make her look, and expected to be bombarded with comments on how cute she was, though she loathed them with a passion. "I-Is th-there anything I c-can d-do t-to help y-you g-guys?" Even despite her offer of help, she kept a good ten feet away from the others, her shyness keeping her from getting any closer.

Benny's comment concerning her injuries, none of which were bleeding currently made her jump. "J-Jake will g-get it when h-he c-comes b-back," she stuttered, voice ringing with conviction. Now that she thought about it though, they were still stinging pretty bad. And itching, a lot. "He w-was in th-the Ar-Army, s-so he kn-knows s-stuff like that." Like Jatan and Aurora, the others seemed fairly nice, and accepting, which was not something Tali had expected. Benny's speed still puzzled her, but Tali just dismissed it as being a trick of her imagination brought on by tiredness, or stress.

"Todo, we're not in Kansas anymore," Jake muttered, chuckling to himself. "God, I'm such a dork." He was carrying a fair pile of tinder under his one arm, the others swinging freely with the hatchet. The light was still just out of sight, and it was with regret that Jake sat down to rest. He had enough tinder: birch bark, twigs, small branches, and leaves. Now it was time to get a couple of bigger pieces that would help sustain the fire. Swatting his hand at the light, Jake hoped to get rid of it, but was rewarded with such a sensation that when he pulled his hand back, he felt only half-alive. That's when it hit him. He had mentally swatted at it at the same time as he did physically, resulting in the sensation.

Still panting from the shock, Jake reached for it again, though this time he grabbed it. Life filled him in a raging torrent of destruction. It felt as though he was adrift in a river of fire, or an inferno of ice. Everything was clearer. He could see the veins on the leaves of trees across from him, smell the animals that had scurried away from him, feel the water flow through the tree, and hear rustling as animals went about their business. Surely it was some sort of power, and that led Jake to see what it could do.

Thinking of the tinder as in his hand, he was surprised when yellow, transparent cords suddenly leaped into existence from nearby, and picked up the tinder before bringing it too him. Experimenting, he rewove, the only term suitable that he could think of, the yellow cords into existence in front of him. He pushed lightly on them, stunned to feel a solid object. So obviously yellow is air, he thought, willing them to vanish. He kept hold of the power though, in case he needed it. Experimentation could come later. For now, he went back to work, swinging the hatchet at a small nearby tree.

((That's fine Musik. Quality over quantity anyway, right? =3))
