Caleb hissed softly, both as she cleaned the wound and when the amber liquid hit the wound. Seriously, does everything have to hurt? It didn’t matter as the wound closed, but he could still feel a slight throb of pain. “A kyoketsu-shoge. It’s typically a weapon used by ninjas. But I’d only recently started practicing with something like it. The practice one is made of plastic, so that if we get hit it won’t hurt.” He explained softly, blue-green eyes flicking to meet hers with a soft smile. “I only lost it because I was angry. Any kind of practice is never good to do when upset. You lose control too easy.” He said, tone laced with practice, even if his body never showed the signs. Standing fluidly he scowled at the bloody shirt in his hand before offering his empty one to the other to help her up. “Come on, we should get down there for the meeting.” He waited for her to stand before moving to the edge of the high trampoline and tilting forward. Falling forward, he bounced on the black surface, using the bounce to flip up and repeat the process to the bottom tier, where he double flipped and landed on his feet safely.

Kyle had watched the interaction between Cal and Aki, wincing as she smacked him, and doing his best to keep Kita from looking because he knew she’d feel even worse. Sighing, he ran his fingers through the youngest sibling’s hair, hesitant to say anything to Zalia. He grinned when he saw Jatan come in, his peripherals noticing Caleb come down from the top of the trampolines. “Uncle Jatan!” He called, his right, which had been petting the now calm girl, left her and started to wave at him.

Kita had flinched when she heard Aki screech, but didn’t fight when Kyle kept her from looking, and leaning into the petting he did. When he stopped, she turned in his arms so that her back was on his chest and she held his arm against her upper chest/neck area while one of her hands quickly swiped at the tear tracks on her cheeks. She waved quickly at the newly arrived male, offering him a shy smile, then looking for Aki, who had decided to finally come down from her perch and land on Zalia’s shoulder.

Hanna noticed that Jatan had returned, it was always a nice
surprise when he showed up, it made Zalia happy to see her brother. She thought to herself about where he had gone and how long he planned to stay but didn't let her mind wader to far because Zalia called everyone to sit down.

Taking the first chair she could, somewhere in the middle row off to the side. She knew this meeting would most likely be about the hunters, she had very few ideas as to what they could do, besides frying them of course. A small smile crept across her face as she thought about burning down the people that hurt anyone in the circus. Since she joined they were all like her family.

Serenade accepted his words with a smile of her own. "I know what you mean. If I practice my wheel act when angry, it could be disastrous!" As the white haired man stood, she took his hand then watched him leap off the trampoline expertly. Nodding to the woman who had appeared beside them in greeting, Serenade then proceeded to climb down the trampolines carefully. After making sure she'd left nothing behind the blue eyed woman went to find an empty seat beside the newest arrival who had everyone so excited.

All on his own, Casimir watched them gather in the tent. From afar he could not see the barrier, though he knew it was there. The brown haired man was bent on finding out what made this circus so special, and then he would take it away. He not only destroyed these supernaturals.. Caz also coveted their magic for his own. One part of his hatred for them was jealousy, which was fed at every sight of some extraordinary ability.

Ahanna sighed when the man ignored her and looked down at the cup in her hand. She brought the cup up to her own mouth and quickly drank the tea. She looked back at the gathering group and walked over to Rythen. He had grabbed a chair at one end and sat down. Instead of taking the chair next to him she sat down on the floor slightly in front and to the side of him. She leaned back against his legs and fiddled with the cup in her hand.

Looking up when Aki landed on her shoulder Zalia smiled. Raising her hand up she ran her fingers softly over her head and then itched the spot Aki loved. She continued to lightly run her fingers over her head and then down her back as she looked at everyone. "So we have a problem that I would like to address with everyone. There has been hunters our side of the border. The first one I didn't really feel cross because he crossed at the same time a normal human did. That was my fault I should have been paying attention. Then when I felt the second I went to them. After telling us that we needed to be taught a lesson the male hunter used a potion to disappear. He's still in the border then girl hunter who has a sister left but I think she will be back. What we need to discuss is how we are to get the hunter out before we go somewhere else, for if he's in the border when we leave he will follow us to our next designation. Then once we catch him what are we going to do? I want everyone's opinions." Zalia stopped talking and sat back in her chair. She was growing more tired as the time went on. It took a lot of energy to keep the new border up.

The twins laughed and told Jatan that they had been alright. Then they watched him give a hello hug to Ophelia. As Zalia started to talk they moved their gaze over to her and listened.

Hearing his name being called out Jatan looked over at Kyle and Kita. Grinning he waved back and was about to yell back to them when his sister started talking. He held up a finger to the siblings in a one moment gesture. As he listened to his baby sister he couldn't help but frown. Hunters in the circus? They hadn't had a problem with them in about a decade. Clearing his throat he spoke up. "I can hunt the male down, it is my job." Hunting the hunters was what Jatan did best. He was well known in the supernatural community for it. A lot of people called him up to deal with the rises in the hunter population around there homes.

Ophelia couldn't help laughing as Jatan scooped her up and twirled her around, despite her worry about the hunter. Of course, that may have just been because Jatan was renowned for hunting the hunters, and quickly volunteered said services. She looked worriedly at Zalia, who looked tired- probably from keeping the barrier up. However, the ringleader had asked for everyone's opinions. "I say we do to him what he'd do to us. He'll kill any of us without a second thought- and who knows how many other supernaturals he's killed already." Ophelia said, feeling more scared than she had in a while, and she was sure it showed in her voice. Normally, the Changeling wouldn't be so bloodthirsty, but that hunter had been so close to killing her- if no one had shown up when they had, he probably would have, with that girl's help. She had come a hair's breadth from dying this morning, and her family was still in danger. She wanted that hunter gone.

As Zalia spoke about how the hunters had gotten into the circus and though the barrier she got worried about herself and the others, she also got angry about it and her hair started to catch fire as it did when she was really angry. Hanna let out a deep breath "I say we burn them" she said sternly. Those hunters where going to kill any of the circus members they could, why not do the same. As she thought about how nice it would be to light a hunters pants on fire her hair got even more fiery.

Caleb remained mostly in the background, listening. He sighed softly, suddenly conflicted about what to say, but knowing what his siblings would say. Turning around he moved to the side of the tent, next to the bags he'd brought back earlier that morning, checking out the extras.

Kyle frowned, never having heard Ophelia that upset, and he didn't know much about Hanna to decide either way. Sighing he cuddled closer to his sister, whispering something to her before he went to sit beside his brother. The two of them talking quietly, though his eyes did glance to Aki, who remained silent on Zalia's shoulder.

Kita frowned. While she never liked hunters, especially since what they'd done to her, it didn't mean outright genocide on them. "But, why? Wasn't the whole point of coming to this circus a means of protection from them? If we kill them, then they'll just attack us in force, and they would greatly outnumber us." She said softly even as she walked toward Jatan and Zalia and standing between the two. "Yeah I know the Hunters will just keep coming back anyway, and that we can't run forever...But I just want to forget about them and let them be. I've suffered enough without inviting more of them to attack me." She trailed off to a murmur at the end, her hands clasping in front of her, the right thumb rubbing a faded scar that slashed through a brand on her wrist. It was a forever reminder of her pain, and she hated it, and the ones who had caused it. But for all her tiger strength, she couldn't, she wouldn't deliberately cause bloodshed against her attackers.

Hanna looked down sadly as Kita spoke, she was right of course. "You are right, the circus is a form of refuge for many and I am sure not many of us want to fight. She felt a tinge of sadness for being so caught up in her emotions. But what other choices did they have, run for as long as they could.

Hanna took a few deep breathes and the flames in her hair receded until they were completely gone. "It's just, we don't have many options unless we wish to tie them up toss them out of the barrier and then leave".

Aki watched her sister from Zalia's shoulder, the feeling of pride for her sister speaking up filling her. Flying to Kita, Aki changed shape in front of the smaller blonde, before looking at everyone till she sttled on Hanna. "You may be right about that. We don't have a lot of options, but that doesn't mean we need to stoop to their level and senseless kill every single Hunter that finds us. We've been able to keep them away long before now, and we can continue to do so." Akasha stepped back after giving her sister a tight hug, brushing back the youngers hair. "I don't know about many of you, but I agree with Nakita. Yes they've all done their damage to us in one form or another, but unless we really want to cause a war, and thats what would happen if we hunted them down and killed them, or just plain killed them and left the body behind each time we disappear, we will be inviting them to come after as and obliterate us." She stated calmly, though offered a small smile to the two oldest siblings. "No offense meant to Zal and Jat, but there is only so much they can do themselves to protect us if we started 'returning the favor' and killing every Hunter we see." Aki said, her blue-green eyes moving around to watch the others reactions.

Hanna looked up at Aki as she spoke, then she thought of something specifically regarding what she said. "If we hunt them down, then that would make us hunters then wouldn't?" the thought of that made her skin crawl, the last thing she wanted to do was stoop to their level. "All this is just so" she paused as she though of what to say "for lack of a better word, scary".

She looked down at her hands, they where folded and resting in her lap. All of this hunter business and the rush of very different emotions and opinions, within her and everybody else was starting to make her feel dizzy.

Serenade listened in shock. All she wanted to do was learn how to gain the Sight, and she'd stepped into a war. Or rather, right into a battlefield. Her eyes roamed trough the crowds in search of a familiar face. She knew Ophelia, but wasn't about to interject in this discussion. She wasn't part of the circus yet. No, instead she stood from her seat and went to search out the blond elf whom she had first spoken with. "Hello Rhyten, and hello to you." Serenade inclined her head to the other elf sitting upon the floor. "I'm beginning to wonder if my coming was a good idea." Sitting down in a free seat, the young woman tilted her head to the side as she listened.

Casimir moved forward to press a hand against the barrier, and winced. He couldn't get an inch closer. What a horrible situation. Memories from his past tugged at his mind, but he shoved them aside. It wasn't the time or place for such things. Instead he began searching trough the potions and powders hanging at his belt for a solution. Despite the fact that he was in plain sight, the hunter till felt safe enough to place a concoction of powders at the base of the barrier. Placing a flame to the powder, he saw it burst up. And yet the barrier remained, A frustrated growl left the brown haired man.

Silent Zalia sat back in her chair and listened to everyone's ideas. She wasn't fond that some of them wanted to kill the hunters but she had ask of their opinions. Then when her darling Kita spoke up she felt a beam of pride well up in her. Watching as she came and stood by her Zalia listened intently. Then listened with more pride when Akasha spoke up. She was just about to say something when she felt something, a hunter, touch the barrier. Standing up quickly she took a step forward only to clasp her head and fall to the ground on her knees, groaning. That bastard was trying to blow up the barrier and she could feel it through her whole body. Panting in pain and exhaustion Zalia looked over to Azra. "Hit me.." she croaked out.

Seeing Zalia fall and clutch her head Azra quickly stood up. Then when she told her to hit her she shook her head. "You know what happens," she told her.

"God damn it Az I don't care just hit me!" Zalia rose her voice and gave her a look.

Sighing Azra quickly ran over to Zalia and crouched down on her knees. Sticking her hand out so it was in front of Zalia's chest, she flickered her hand. A bright multicolor light and heat spread through her palm. Slamming her hand forward then back the shimmering light grew and was flowing into Zalia.

When Azra's lumen hit her her back arched and she could feel the energy flowing through her. When the lumen blinked out she was completely refreshed. Standing up she looked at her brother. "He's trying to break down my barrier right outside the door," she turned and pointed at him. Then disappearing she reappeared right in front of the hunter, on the inside of the border though. "It's not going to work you know. You'll never get in."

Looking up Azra watched as Zalia disappeared and shook her head. She knew the ringleader needed the energy but she hated using her lumen like that. It always had bad affects later on to non naga's. Like sickness or rage, those were the two popular after affects. Chenol came over to Azra and patted her arm. Then grabbing a few small daggers out of her hair she walked in front of the group. Her sister came to join her to protect everyone else just in case something happened.

When his sister fell Jatan quickly got up and ran to her. But then when she told Az to hit her he backed up with a grimace. He had gotten hit with her light before and knew what happened the next day. Walking to Kita and Aki Jatan stepped in front of them. "You two go wait by Azra and Chenol ok?" He said once Zal disappeared. Reaching out he ruffled Kita's hair a bit with a smile. Then shifting into the form of a very large panther again, he ran over to his sisters. Standing by her feet Jatan let out a loud snarl and sat back in a pouncing position, claws extended.

Hanna stood up as Zalia fell to the ground in pain, she watched as Zalia gave orders to Azra. She watched as Zalia got up and looked at her brother. She let out a small gasp as she heard the hunter was attempting to blow up the barrier, was he trying to get out, or bring others in. When Hanna saw Zalia disappear she had a good idea as to where she went, Zalia could handle herself and she would solve the problem without violence if that was possible. She sat back down and looked at her hands again waiting to see what the others would do.

Ophelia tried not to growl at Kita and Aki when theyspoke up- there was sense in what they were saying, but fear and logic never did get along well. She didn't want to become like them, though- that was the last thing she wanted. However, her panic surged again as Zalia said the hunter was outside- and when she saw Azra hit her. Zalia would not be feeling well tomorrow, Ophelia already knew. As the ringleader and Jatan ran outside, Ophelia followed after them, stopping just outside the tent's entrance.

This new development was unexpected. The young man stumbled back at this woman's appearance. A covetous gleam entered his grey eyes as he realized what power she held. Oh, to be able to use magic such as she! Then the others came, the changeling and the menacing panther. They all had what he wanted! Power, unimaginable power... If only he could figure out a way to gain it all for himself.

"Never seems like such a long time." A tiny vial caught the light as Casimir moved forward again. Blood red liquid gleamed within, as if alight with it's own magical properties. Catching it in a gloved hand, a menacing smile crossed the hunter's face. He had sworn never to use it, but they were all so frustrating! The vial had cost so much, in so many ways... It would certainly be powerful enough to void the magic of the shield. It was actually un-magic, the absence of it. Whatever magic it touched would be devoured. Hefting it up, he heaved it towards the barrier without any idea of what might ensue.

The boys both turned, watching Zalia fall, and felt their muscles tense to move. Then they winced ahen Az hit Zal with the spell, that was going to hurt tomorrow. The two shared a look before Cal shifted to his wolf form, slinking towards the entrance and standing near Ophelia. He knew how the changeling felt, even though he could understand his sister's logic, he didn't want to listen because of what they'd done to his baby sister. Cal knew he was taking a big risk, his wolf sense of smell telling him this was the same Hunter from that morning, but protecting his family was too important.

Kita offered a teary smile to Jatan as he left to go help her 'momma', glancing up as Kyle came up behind her and they went to stand near Azra and Chenol, she could tell the otter shifter had a sword by his side as she slowly changed into her tiger shape. She detested hunters, but she'd protect her territory, her family, if it came to that.

Aki had tensed in shock when Zal went down, but when she disappeared, she moved to the remaining belongings that Cal and Kita had returned with that morning, grabbing what looked like a foot long pole with a blade at the end. pressing a small button, she grinned when the butt of the pole descended and lengthened like she'd asked for it to, the rod now extending to be four feet long. While she knew what she had said before, this was different. That idiot hunter was on their territory and they were defending. She only talked about not outright attacking him if he left of his own accord, which she had hoped he'd done. She came up beside Ophelia, one hand resting on the girl's shoulder, glaring at the male on the other side of the barrier, mentally praying he would not do anything stupid.

((Oh I'm going to have fun with this potion lol!!))

Seeing the vile and what was in it Zalia's faced faced. "No!" She yelled out just before he threw the contents of the vial. Bracing herself as best she could she watched as the blood red liquid hit her barrier, to fast for her to do anything. As the liquid hit the barrier Zalia was flown back through the air like she had been hit by a truck. Slamming to the ground her body slid a few feet and then she laid there, her whole body was erupted in spasms. Her eyes were wide open and staring at the ceiling as her body continued to thrash around in spasms.

The potion cause whatever it touched to loose it's magic. It wasn't permanent but how long it lasted was unknown. Sometimes it was for a few hours sometimes it was for a few weeks. It all depended on how potent the potion was. Since Zalia used both her energy and the magic of the circus to make the barrier they both could have lost there magic. But Zalia cut herself off from the circus magic so she took the brunt of it.

"Oh my god...."
Azra whispered as Zal flew through the air and then was having some sort of seizure. Running over to her she flung herself down on her knees and gripped Zal's head in her arms. Chenol came running behind her helped her brace her head. She let out a sigh when Zalia finally stopped thrashing around. The ringleader was now silent and staring straight up to the ceiling. "Hey Zal can you here me?" Azra got in her face and snapped her fingers.

Snarling Jatan pushed off the ground and leaped through the air at the hunter. Hitting his chest with his front paws he sent the man flying backwards. Then hitting the ground running he stood over him and put his snout in his face. Jatan let out the loudest snarl he could, the least it would do is make the hunters ears hurt.

Cire had been a literal background figure, even though she had her tails out, it still took long to summon the book. So when Zalia asked her to guide everyone she did this while concentrating on summoning her weapon.
The woman heard the speech too, and stayed near the opening of the tent. Of course, she smiled when Jatan arrived, but kept herself in the background. She had a book to summon, and in the last minutes it was important to not move around too many, or be distracted, It took a lot of magical energy to summon it physically after all...

She would be on guard, if it considered her loved ones. Sadly though, the barrier was too powerfull for her to 'look' outside of it while being in the final state of summoning the book. Before she had noticed it, everything went too fast and she had to keep herself from running over to Zalia, because the book would turn itself against her if she had stopped in the final minute.

She would be able to survive it's attacks, if she were lucky. That was the first thing you would learn if you would become a sorcerer. NEVER stop in the last minute of summoning your book.

As soon as Zalia had hit the ground, the book appeared. It was only natural for the fox to run towards the ringmaster. In merely a second she arrived, the book flying above her hand. Never before the fox had cursed it's summoning, taking it logical that their magic had to have a downside, but now she ''saw'' Zalia motionless at the floor... she did resent it. Oh so much.

That vial, as soon as it had hit the barrier the fox was able to identify it. Which meant that it wouldn't be smart to channel energy to Zalia now... It would only hurt her as the potion would make it go away. Heck, using magic on Zalia to heal her would be murder.
''Hey hunter, you wouldn't happen to have a small potion against this... Accident, do you? We need something to let you be able to repay this. Even your endless screams of agony don't seem enough to balance this right now.'' The fox turned around to face the hunter, her voice so cold and so deadly... It would be able to kill a person on the spot. People who knew her, didn't want her against them like this.

Of course, with Jatan's snarl, Casimir probably wouldn't have heard her anyway.

Ophelia's eyes widened as Zalia flew back, obviously in pain. "Zalia!" She shrieked, barely able to hear herself over Jatan's roar of anger. Her eyes blazed as she turned back toward the pinned hunter. "You just cost yourself any mercy we had to give! She snarled, her eyes blackening with magic. Even if he used one of those vials on her, she didn't have enough magic to be as badly hurt as Zalia.

A frightened look crossed Casimir's face, replacing the smug one he'd worn as the woman had flown back from he shield. The snarling of the panther invaded his ears. The young man's eyes moved away from the glare and caught sight of all the angry faces looking at him. He, Casimir thought, had been an idiot and a fool. Without further ado the hunter scrambled away from the danger and ran. The ground hit his feet harshly as he leaped away from danger. Breath came in and out in staggered gasps from his mouth, and small panicked sounds accompanied them.

Casimir was looking back, towards the danger he left behind in stead of searching everywhere for anything new. Trees and branches caught his clothes... Roots tripped him up until he finally fell right into a nightmare. He thought those of the circus had been bad, the werewolf pack had no scruples at all in torturing him. Casimir's screams filled the forest until he managed to stagger away from the pack. He was disoriented, and didn't realize his return to the circus until he stumbled trough the barrier again.

(( It's alright if you don't respond to his return as a werewolf right away. He was gone for a few hours, so we'll have to wait a while for them to discover him. I can't wait to see all the DRAMA!))

Rythen started to say something when Zalia fell limp and then after she vanished. He looked down at Ahanna and knew this might be too much for her. "Stay here." He looked at the several humans and scared supernaturals. "Guard them. Anyone but the family comes in stick a knife in them. And get ready to care for the battle wounded." He didn't wait but ran out towards the Ringmaster with twin daggers already in his hands.

Ahanna nodded and went back to her tea kettle to prepair. She looked at the human who had spoken to her earlier. "What is your name?"

Raven and her sister had come back just in time to see the attack on the tent and for everything to go down hill. They followed the other hunter but saw the danger that he didn't and stopped. Sadly they both knew there were too many werewolves to help the other hunter. He got himself into this. Raven led her sister back to the circus to watch.

Cire may be a very angry fox demoness with a lovely powerfull book swirling above her hands, but she knew better than to track him when he was running into that one lovely pack of werewolves. If she were to take their target away form them, they might attack the circus.
Then again, face a supernatural circus, or face a werewolf pack... Depends on your view of being a werewolf, or their food. She turned to everyone, shaking her head in a sign that it wouldn't be smart to track the hunter. Even though she was the one shaking a little, something canines did when they couldn't do or be what they wanted. Oh how the woman wanted to track him. It had been a while since Cire allowed herself to hunt, she wasn't allowed to hunt or kill for no reason. Of course, there wasn't a punisher of her clan to be seen, but Cire felt that she needed to follow the rules if she ever wanted to reunite her clan again.

Aire had fallen asleep in the bushes, her headphones haging at her neck, the music still humming softly. The reason for her awakening was the hunting call of the werewolves she managed to avoid earlier on. Her facial expression turned to that of a scared child, already feeling pity with whoever their prey was. It was a large and agressive pack.

Letting the hunter have a head start Jatan finally took after him. He skidded to a stop when he heard the werewolves go after him. There was no way to save him even if he wanted to. Turning around Jatan started to run back to the tent when he smelt a familiar scent. Stopping he sniffed the air and followed the scent over to the form of a human girl. Shifting Jatan looked at her and folded his arms. "How in the hell did you find me? Never mind that we need to get you out of these woods." Jatan stuck his hand out to help her up. He couldn't believe the little cheetah shifter had followed him all the way to the circus. It was nearly impossible to track him.

Still motionless and staring straight up, Zalia was in her own little world. She felt completely empty like nothing was inside of her anymore. There had never been a time when her magic was taken away. To be born with all that magic, to never know what it felt like to not have it and now to have it taken away was excruciating. One single tear welled up in the corner of her eye and ran down her cheek into her hair. She knew she needed to get up and be strong for everyone but she didn't have it in her. So she continued to stare, oblivious to everything and everyone around her for the moment.

((JessehBoo: Hey Jesseh I just wanted you to see this post so you weren't confused later on! We wanted to get Scarlett back in with the others. Take your time in coming back ok. I hope your mom is doing better, I'm praying for her!))

Azra was beginning to freak out a bit. She had been waving her hands in front of Zal's eyes and snapping her fingers, but got no response. "Zali? Come on please say something or move your eyez. Your totally freaking uz out." After still getting nothing she looked up to her sister. "Scarlett and Aiden are still out there. Can you go get them?" Chenol nodded and stood up. Shifting and gripping her daggers better she slithered out of the tent. Going to the mess tent she found the two of them. "You both need to come with me," she spoke slowly and clearly so they could understand what she was saying. Sometimes having a French accent and a snakes tongue was annoying. "You're not safe here." Grabbing Scarlett's hand carefully so she didn't cut her with the dagger she pulled her softly along with her. Chenol hoped that Aiden followed after them but she couldn't make him. "A hunter took away Zal'ss magic. She made a barrier around the practice tent and he threw some potion on it. She'sss in bad shape." As she talked Chenol kept her eyes open and roaming for any threats.
