It was dark and Tess was having a hard time seeing without her flashlight, but in moments they were before Kasimir's friend. She watched as the man began to heal Kasimir and began to comprehend that he was a vampire. She tried to jerk her wrist free from Kasimir, "You set me up, let me go!" she yelled. She frantically reached for her knife in her leg holster. Her heart was beating fast as adrenaline shot through her veins. She could feel the power within her rising.

Alistair recognized her voice. She was the woman that had been in the cafe, talking to that one vampire. He blinked, releasing Kasimir's hand. "Other vampires are less likely to attack you if they think you are with a vampire. I assure you, Miss, I have no intentions of harming you." He had taken a step back, he would let her go if she really wanted to. Though he had a feeling Kasimir wouldn't.

Once Alistair had released his hand, he whirled around to face the girl. Somewhat awkwardly as he still had a grip on her wrist. "Look now. Don't you dare accuse me of something like that. I would never lure a human into a vampire's grasp. Not on purpose. Hiro won't bite you and he won't let anyone else bite you either. You're safe with him around. He doesn't like being a vampire and he doesn't like other vampires. We'll take you somewhere safe and leave. But I won't just leave you out here in the open when there are a billion more vampires running about that don't have a problem with being what they are, and don't have a problem draining you dry. So, stop jumping to outrageous conclusions." Kasimir was angry. He was a theif not a liar. Or the kind of person to set another up to take a fall. "Vampires are just as diverse as humans. Not all humans are child molesting murderers, just like not all vampires are psychotic. Though it does seem with vampires the psycho ones do outnumber the nicer ones. Still, it isn't fair to lump them all together and assume they're all evil." Kasimir had no intention of letting her go. He said he'd help her, and helping her did not mean letting her run off into the arms of homicidal vampires.

Seeing the one who called his self Hiro back away from her and hearing the two explain themselves she began to relax. Though she had never met a vampire who did not want to kill her, this one seemed different. Why else would he be traveling with a human companion? she wondered. She eyed him warily staying closer to Kasimir, "Ok, I guess I can grasp that." She narrowed her eyes at Hiro, "My name is Tessa, it means reaper. Remember that vampire, I'll be keeping my eyes on you."

][By all means, glomp away. <3 Just so I'm clear..what am I being glomped for? heh.][

Alistair nodded at the females words. At least it hadn't taken much to convince her he wasn't a threat. Well, he wasn't sure she was completely convinced, but right now they seemed to have an uneasy truce type thing going on. That was good enough for me. "Dear lady, you are much more a threat to me than I will ever be to you. But I trust you enough to turn my back to you." Alistair didn't hesitant, he turned his back to her and Kasimir and began walking off. Off in the direction he had heard other fighting coming from. He wanted to check that out before they took Tessa somewhere safe. Afterall, someone else might need a safe place to go. Alistair wasn't the type to walk around looking for those that needed help, if he happened to be near and someone needed help he would act.

Kasimir seemed to relax, grinning at the girl. "Lighten up, he won't hurt you at all." His grip on her wrist relaxed some, then he let go as he turned to follow Alistair. Glancing over his shoulder to make sure Tessa came too. "I told you, he doesn't like other vampires. He doesn't even like being a vampire. You can trust us..I know that's probably asking a lot, but at least try." He smiled softly at her.

Alice watched everything with interest. The preaching vampire seemed to have turned a 180 and now was psycho. There had to be something wrong with the kid because no one did that big of a turn around. Shaking her head Alice crossed her arms and continued to watch. She really like the older ones style. Stepping closer to Cyril she looked at him briefly before looking back at the other two. "How old is your sire anyways? He seems bloody ancient." She couldn't believe the speed he had. Her's was far better than most but his was extraordinary.

Tess blinked and looked down as Kasimir released her wrist. She'd almost forgot he'd been holding onto her. Embarassed by the way it had made her feel safer, she looked up to see them walking away. Looking around wondering if she'd be better off on her own, equipped with a gun with no bullets, a fading flashlight and so tired her body ached, she decided to trust in the pair. Hurrying to catch up to Kasimir but continuing to keep a small distance from Hiro, Tess rejoined them. "Where is it we're going?" she asked quietly, not wanting to bring any attention their way.

"First, I wish to investigate some noises I heard, but I will protect you if something bad happens. Afterwards, we will take you to Kasimir's home. You will be safe there." Alistair had glanced over his shoulder to look at Kasimir and Tessa. He knew Kasimir wouldn't object to sharing his home with the female. Of course, Kasimir didn't really object to sharing his home with anyone, especially if the human thought he could also share his bed as well. Alistair pushed that thought away. He would not get jealous. Kasimir was his friend, not his lover and the human could sleep with whomever he wanted as often as he wanted. Alistair continued walking, pausing only when he reached the area he was sure the noises had come from. Eyes narrowed slightly. He saw a vampire and a man with a sword. No doubt a hunter of some sort. He wrinkled his nose, he'd stand and watch for awhile before deciding on a course of action.

Kasimir had grinned when Alistair mentioned taking her to his house. A slight shiver ran down his spine. She was a very pretty woman. Perhaps he could share a little more than just his house this evening? Though the German didn't really think she was the type of woman to lay with a man who consorted with vampires. Kasimir snorted slightly at that. Consorted, it sounded so dirty in his mind. Honestly his thoughts hadn't meant it that way. A slight bit of color rose to his cheeks and he shook his head hard. Nearly bumping into Alistair when the vampire stopped, he was quick though and stepped around his friend to come to a halt next to him. Looking at what his friend was looking at, he shrugged. He didn't like vampire hunters. They were just like vampires. Most killed indiscriminately. Vampires and humans had so much in common, yet they refused to see it. He spoke quietly to Alistair in German.

Chesamai walked the streets now. She had a sudden scence Beyond would be okay. She had fought to vampires and won all though they had ran off. She yawned knowing she would need a nap when she got home. As she walked down the streets she heard yelling and talking and approched the noise. It looked like three people and she slowly approched them.

(I gotta agree with NekoChan on this one O_O;; everyone is completely in a different story. All the while three others are focusing on this one little fight, okay that might seem..too wrong. @[email protected] I think I'm stop the fight between them just to get this back to normal? If you can consider anything thats going on...'normal'.)

Just listening the older male vampire's words at first about how he was tired of seeing the carnage seeking vampires throughout this whole world and that there was no pleasure in the war; especially when it was against his own kind. Shuji simply stopped speaking with his own grin still across his lips, deep within himself; hearing that, reminded him of who he truly was and what he was wanting this whole time earlier. Peace. That was the whole point he was trying to bring forward to everyone, where was the sense of the war other than the pleasure of killing the human race and taking their lives for food? The way this older male vampire spoke sounded almost as though he were contradicting his own thoughts about earlier since it did; indeed seem pointless to event try to convince his own kind.

Within the next moment, hearing the man say that he took completely no pleasure in harming Shuji. But if that was what he wished, lowering his own head to stare back down toward the floor. With the only free hand he had; other than the one being held in the vampire's grasp. He had noticed the claw coming toward him at full speed to slice him open. The grin that was once across his face had now faded back to a frown that he showed earlier when he was still in much more control of his own self. Reaching only slightly to the side to grab the man's claw; it was obvious enough to Shuji he wasn't going to be able to completely stop the attack, considering how far it was already. But luckily it was enough, just to push it slightly a few inches away to the point that it scratched right toward his face anyway but only gave a couple marks right across the middle of his face, that were obviously bleeding. Right after being attacked with the claw, getting kneed right in the gut; caused Shuji to actually end up coughing lightly. This was simply due to the fact that his alter ego had finally sunken itself back down into the depths of his own body; returning his own sense back to how they normally were. Meaning, the intense strength, endurance, and speed that he once had was still there; just simply dormant deep within himself, only to be brought back out if he learned to control his alter ego; if not, return back into that once more.

By now, both of Shuji's own eyes had returned to their normal crimson red colored eyes just like any ordinary vampire's eyes would be like. With blood dripping continuously from the wound that the male vampire had done to him right at his own face; he slowly stared right back up toward the male just to simply show that he was in much more control than he was just a few moments ago. "If you speak about there being no...pleasure within this war...than why do you continue to progress it?...you speak theres no pleasure within it; but you harm the human race for simply food and the thrill of killing them..hearing them beg for mercy; the bones cracking from within them. You mean to tell me, that isn't anything much pleasure? or simply food?...we kill for our survival and pleasure, while the humans kill us..for simply their own existence...what is it that we're even going after?...does our race even have a goal out of this?"

They had searched mostly silently through the streets of the city to find a pair fighting. It appeared to be a hunter like herself, with a sword, against a vampire. They both looked like they might be having a rough time, maybe Tess could help the hunter. She took a step forward reaching for her knife, but paused, suddenly unsure of herself. For the first time, she had seemingly met a vampire who was on her side, who wanted to help her. What if this vampire too was on their side, just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time by someone who had hated them as she had. She was confused, not knowing what to think she left her knife in it's holster. Tess turned to Kasimir as he spoke to Hiro in German. She felt her cheeks get hot as she looked down. She was to stay with Kasimir tonight, he was very attractive, and what girl didn't love a man with an accent after all? She frowned again, what was she thinking? She needed to focus on surviving this darkness and finding her brother. This was insane. She was a vampire hunter, not someone who follows vampires and let's her guard down when an attractive male comes to her rescue. She was no damsel. Shaking her head out of her internal battle she looked again at Kasimir. "Why are we here, shouldn't we be getting to safety? Surely vampires don't take kindly to Hiro when they realize he travels with a human companion, now two..." Looking around worried about being out here in the open she saw a young girl approaching who looked like she was still in middle school. What on earth is this child doing wondering around at a time like this?! She walked towards her, her own maternal instincs kicking in. Grabbing her hand pulling her close to the group she looked her over. She didn't appear to be hurt in any way, "What are you doing out here?" she asked, "Where are your parents?"

Michael narrowed his eyes, his face finally showing true anger as he said, "How did... oh, a mind reader. Don't judge that which you don't understand vampire. Power can be a horrible thing unless used in the proper manner. I don't seek to use my power to conquer for the sake of conquering, but for the sake of unification! Unless you haven't noticed, the world has become a sorry state, but I have a plan to save mankind, first from itself, and then from your kind, but one step at a time. And don't you dare think of me as some foolish child with delusions of grandeur," he stood at his full height, ignoring the pain shooting from his body, "I am Michael Khallos, crown prince of England and heir to the throne, and I will not allow your stubborness to die be my undoing. Like I said, all power has a cost, and I require you, or any other vampire, to pay that cost, at least for a little while." He took a different stance, holding his blade with both hands before rushing forward, attacking with greater strength in his swings.

Alistair had nodded slightly to whatever Kasimir told him, then tilted his head to the side slightly and looked at Tessa. "It is not uncommon for a vampire to have a human companion, though. Usually the vampire only uses that companion as a food source and thus the companion does not survive long in such a vampire's care. As far as anyone can tell, Kasimir is just a food source for me." He waved a hand as if to dismiss the conversation. "Kasimir is my friend. I will never bite him nor will I let anyone else." That being said, he whispered something in German to Kasimir and blinked when Tessa drew someone else into their group. Three humans and one vampire..That'd be a little more difficult to explain.

Kasimir was silent, his green eyes didn't leave the two fighting in the street. Something seemed very off to him and he had said as much to his companion, his suspicions confirmed when Alistair had replied. Kasimir glanced at Tessa and the female she had drawn into their group. He looked the new female over once and decided she was way too young for him. "...Shh...Keep your voice's low." It was just a light suggestion, and once again those green eyes were on the fighting in the street. He couldn't exactly hear clearly what was being said, but from Alistair's expression he could judge his friend didn't like it.

Chesamai looked at the new people. One seemed to be a vampire and two seemed human. "I'm looking for my step brother and I'm trained in how to hunt vampires I'm not helpless." She hoped she didn't freak the vampire out since she was trained in the way to hunt them but she wasn't a hunter. If she was a hunter she would still have to hunt Beyond no matter what her parents said.

Beyond was having a much harder time dodging now. There were at least 5 tears in his clothes. "You're nuts!" He jumped higher then most given his superior strength and agility and landed on the top of a building. He would have been backed into a wall. "I should probably knock you out soon. You need a cage."

Michael sneered, saying, "Look at you, jumping around like a monkey! Let me think, how did the infamous video game quote go? Ah, yes, GET OVER HERE!" His Eye flashed brightly as he used his telekinetic power to send a force against Beyond's back in order to send him back down to the street level, readying his sword to try and cut him in half as he fell.

The girl had responded to Tess that she was looking for her brother and trained in hunting vampires. Her attitude reminded her of herself when she was that age. Looking back at the fight Tess realized this vampire was only defending his self, and that the hunter was clearly crazed, Did he just refer to a video game? As the vampire flung to the ground her emotions took hold of her. Knowing what it felt like to feel helpless in a situation, she disregaurded the fact that he was a vampire. She ran to him and stood in front of him, facing the vampire hunter blocking him from his wrath. What am I doing!? she wondered... Glaring at the hunter ready for a fight.

Alistair did nothing to stop Tessa from running out there. Things could get very bad for the human, and so the tall vampire was only a few steps behind her when she rushed to the other's side. Honestly, how was he supposed to protect someone that threw themselves in the arms of danger? She reminded him alot of Kasimir. He had expected Kasimir to rush over as well. He glanced towards the blond and relaxed when he saw the German coming their way. His eyes went to the crazed hunter. There really was something very off about him.

"Oi.." Kasimir had reached to stop Tessa, only to fall short of grabbing her. Well, then. His green eyes on the other girl and he got right in her face. His voice a whisper. "You, stay right here. It's gonna be dangerous out there, we'll come back for you. So don't get yourself into trouble." That being said, the German whirled around and briskly stepped out of the shadows to come stand beside Alistair.
