Beyond flew past Michael and hit the ground. Beyond hadn't been expecting someone to be around and looked at the girl protecting him. "Be careful! He's nuts!" He warned her and looked at the other two people. Behind him he saw Chesamai running towards the group. "The sword is annoying!"

Chesamai couldn't ignore the fight since she was Beyond. She ran to every one and looked at the sword in the guy's hands and then at Beyond's cuts. "Is the sword giving you trouble brother?" Chesamai used her power and yanked away the sword putting it in her hand. She obviously knew how to use it but she didn't like to fight. "This is mine now."

(why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that Michael is crazy? the only person to take a lookie look into his noodle was Beyond and even then it wasn't insanity)

Michael sneered at Chesami, using his Eye to yank it back and kept it 'coated' in a layer of telekinetic energy, saying, "I don't think so, God you yankees are irritating!" He looked at the two men and Tess and was about to say more but was cut off as he vomited another burst of blood, using his sword to steady himself. Looking back up with a glare, his blood dripping from his mouth he said, "Well, aren't all of you the nosey type." He sighed, stabbing his sword into the ground as he stood up straight, wiping the blood from his mouth, smoothing his hair back, and straightening out his clothes and looked at each of the vampires before saying, "Didn't anyone ever tell you monsters that you shouldn't be playing with your food? Honestly, no manners at all," and then he looked to each of the humans saying, "And as for you lot, well, I certainly can't understand why you would defend the only natural predator of man left." He pulled out his sword and sheathed it, saying, "And with that I bid you all good night... I'm sure we will meet again, and hopefully those of you with a pulse will remember where your loyalties lie." Extending his arms quickly, a massive amount of spheres shot out, detonating in scented smoke and disorienting flashes of light as Michael quickly ran the other way and down an alleyway, taking random turns in order to throw off pursuit.

((Because he's acting kind of crazed, and the vampire he's attacking claims so also, but we understand that your character isn't actually crazy, don't worry ;)))

Tess watched as a burst of flashy smoke lit up the darkness, and like that the vampire hunter was gone. She turned to look at the vampire behind her, stepping back. Why did I do that? she wondered, I've never protected a vampire before... She realized she was still backing away, almost as if she were trying to back out of the situation, or maybe take back what she had done. Stopping, she waited to see what the vampires next move was, he could still very well try to attack them, and she was ready. She recalled the young girl calling him her brother, was this vampire the step brother she had been searching for? Tess shook her head, had they grown up together? That meant that a family of vampires had adopted the young girl, no, she was trained to hunt vampires, so a family of humans had adopted the vampire! Could that be true? This city had proven to be a strange place. Since Tess had arrived only a couple of hours earlier, she was already questioning her beliefs, following a vampire, and defending one. I really need to get my priorities in line... she thought sighing and shaking her head at herself.

(Beyond thinks he is nuts because he acted that way. We know he isn't!)

Beyond stood up and looked at the woman. She had protected him. "Thank you. I'm in your debt." He held his hand out to her to shake with a smile. She probably hadn't known he was a vampire but she did now. He tried to push back thoughts of her running away in fear.

Chesamai looked at the woman with a smile. "Thank you for protecting my brother." She was so happy. She then practically jumped Beyond via hug.

Michael, now far away, collapsed to the ground, leaning against the dirty alley wall as he struggled for breath, blood dripping from his mouth from puking more blood. His face was incredibly pale and he was shaking all over as he thought, Is this it? After all my planning, all my other battles, I'm going to die in this dirty alley in america just because some vampire didn't feel like holding still so I could kill him in a proper fight? ... Damn, vision is getting blurry... so hard to focus. He looked up when he heard footsteps only to see a homeless looking man with a blood soaked beard approaching him, saying, "Another meal, good, I drink him too, for I have become a night god!" The homeless man turned vampire began to giggle insanely as he came closer as Michael chuckled weakly, thinking, Looks like theres a sloppy vampire out there, either that or one that's intentionally making more of them. Either way, looks like I won't be dying tonight. From a few feet away, the homeless man charged, teeth bared as Michael sprang to his feet, mustering the last of his strength as he drew his sword and, in the same motion, sliced at the vampire as it leapt at him, slicing off it's head. The body crashed into Michael as the head went flying, knocking Michael to the ground. He groaned as the pushed the vampire's body off of him, cursing in french and german. Michael rolled the body over and grabbed the arm, wishing he could've found a cleaner vampire, before using his sword to slice off the arm. He looked at the arm and shuddered with revulsion, as he did every time, and muttered, "Everything has a cost," before biting deep into the flesh of the arm. Tearing out chunks of vampirir meat, he could feel his body try and reject each piece of flesh and drop of blood, but at the same time he could feel it get broken down almost instantly for energy, not for his body, but for the Eye. After about a half an hour he tossed the skeletal arm away in disgust, feeling better, but he knew that to return to full strength after so long before the last time he 'fed' he would have to eat the entire body, but he'd be damned if he ate the rest of it before cleaning it. Rooting around in the garbage, he found several rags and old rugs and used them to wrap up the body completely before picking it up and beginning the long trek to his hotel through back alleys.

Weston couldn't stop the hunter so he instead silently followed her through the streets. He didn't get involved but instead he studied her. Her movements, what she did, how she fought and so forth. Thanks to this, he was able to make a spell. He smiled at his handy work. He was so happy discovering magick. The power to alter his direction and the directions of others. It's given him money, happiness and even love. He called his contact and told her that he would have to reschedule. His body was craving blood but at this point, he could wait another day to eat. His keen senses continued to eye Tess.

Aiden huffed as he chased after his sire. He is insane, he thought. He has finally lost it. As they ran they both came eye to eye with another vampire. One who looked beaten from a fight. Aiden stood behind his sire.

"Oh! Aiden, look! Something adorable has come our way and we just had to miss the fight! Oh look at you, smelling of defeat and regret." Brent scoffed. He walked over to the man who was alone down a dark alley. He was dragging something behind him. It was a dead body perhaps. Brent poked at it with his finger and smiled. He looked at this vampire with a sour look as he came back from the odor of a fresh kill. "Tell me, why are you all alone and bleeding like a beaten roaster?"

Michael spun around, dropping the body and drawing his blade, pointing it at Brent, saying, "Back off vampire, I am far from beaten!" He lowered his sword, a surprised look on his face as he thought Wait, this isn't any of the ones from before... and I certainly doubt I can beat both of them and they don't look like the type to be all 'peace love and understanding' like that other vampire, what was his name... Beyond, I think that girl said? May not matter, what matters is that I probably can't beat both of them in this confined space, and if I use the Eye any more I'll over exert myself again. Wait... perhaps violence can be avoided? Michael's faced switched instantly to a smile as he lowered his sword, not sheathing it, but just holding it at his side as he said, "I'm sorry sir, I thought you were someone else, please excuse my rudeness, I do hope you won't think me french." He chuckled at the joke as he wiped some of the blood from eating the arm away from his lips before saying, "I wonder my good sirs, are you the type of vampires that seek to protect mankind from their own or are you the type to hunt down humans like animals and use them as you please... or..." he grinned, sheathing his sword and held out his hand sayin, "Are you the type of vampires that would be willing to make a deal with a human in order to take out mutual enemies? By which I, of course, mean human defending vampires, and humans who would seek to protect them? I think you'll find that we can form a very beneficial and long-standing partnership. What do you say gentlemen, what'll it be?"

Aiden scoffed at him. "I told you Brent, this is a waste of time! Let's just kill the human and move on."

"That would be rude Aiden," Brent said with a smile. "Let's have a listen to what the lad has to say. I mean, look at him! He might be of some use?" He looked over to Aiden who just scowled. Brent had no regard for his underling's opinion and did what he wanted. "Tell me human, how could you help us with these.. betrayers?"

The threat was gone, for now. Still, something about that man was off. He seemed very different from other hunters but Alistair could not quite put his finger on it. That was alright, he had no intention of meeting that man again. If he could help it. The vampire said something in German to his human friend, his eyes narrowed slightly as he stared off in the direction the man with the sword had gone. After a few moments, he turned to the others. "We should not stay out in the open. Others may come and I do not wish to fight them if they do."

Kasimir had nodded slightly when Alistair spoke to him in German. Not really telling him anything new. That man was dangerous and they should avoid him as much as possible. The human had already gathered that much on his own, still he had just nodded. Green eyes turning to the others as Alistair spoke to them. He frowned slightly. Surely the vampire had some safe place of his own to return too? Though Kasimir really wouldn't mind sharing his home with these others. They all were quite cute. The blonde shook his head slightly. "Right, you kids got a place to go to? I guess we'll escort you, in case you get attacked again.." Those green eyes were on Beyond, and they sparkled a bit. It seemed Kasimir found almost everything amusing, or interesting.

Michael smiled as he said, "First off, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael Khallos, Prince of England and it's future king. As for how I can be of assistance, well, allow me to clear something up. I wouldn't be helping you, we would be helping each other. You see, there were two vampires and three humans, and on my best day I would be able to handle both vampires, and perhaps one of the humans, but I'm not at my best quite yet. What I'm suggesting is that we take out our mutual enemies without any of us becoming a murderer. As far as I'm concerned, a human killing a human or a vampire killing a vampire is murder, but if, say, I killed the two vampires, and you two took care of the humans, well, it would be the natural order of things, you would be killing your prey and I would be defending future humans or even vampires from the two renegades. How does that sound? And perhaps, after we're done with that we can work out a very beneficial long-term partnership? I'm sure you would find it most enjoyable to count the future ruler of a country as an ally, correct?" Michael's grin widened as he offered his hand again, willing himself not to sweat for he had a hunch that if they didn't accept the agreement then they would probably kill him.

As Kasimir asked the siblings if they had a place to go, she remembered not having one of her own. If the lights would return she could find her way around this city and find a hotel or inn of sorts. Instead she was following this strange duo around, wondering who she was becoming. Looking off in the direction the vampire hunter ran she wondered if she shouldn't just follow him, to make sure he didn't need her help, the two afterall were one in the same. No, she thought, I am too tired. In his condition he is probably dead now anyway, either bled to death or became a meal to some blood crazed vampire. She closed her eyes recalling the night her parents were just that. Her anger rising again she stared towards the vampires in the group, she should take them out right now, the world needed to be rid of their kind for good. Recalling her mothers screams for Tess to run away, Tess began to shake... Kill them... her fists were clenched... Kill them!

Beyond had been in the middle of explaining that he and his sister lived in the Hope Mansion on the outskirts of town before he stopped to look at Tess. She was shaking. He stepped toward her and felt her forhead. "Are you all right?" He questioned and took a look inside her head. His eyes widened and he looked at her with a frown. She went through something horrible. He realized she could probably end his life right now but he hugged her and got ready to let go and avoid if need be.

Chesamai didn't know the meaning behind her brother hugging the other girl but she was a bit jealous. She had all ways been her big brother's favorite girl and she would be a crazy, out of control vampire before she let anyone else fill that spot. She pouted to where Beyond couldn't see and turned to the other two men. "We live in the Hope mansion on the outskirts of town. We'll be fine getting there on our own. If you both ever need a place to stay feel free to drop by." She looked at Tess just long enough to tell her she was invited too before looking away again. She had a rival now in her head.

Alistair was silent, he had taken a step back when Beyond moved to hug Tessa. Watching them curiously. Unsure of what was going on between the two. Either way, it was really none of his business. When Chesamai began to speak, he glanced at her for a moment and continued to watch Tessa and Beyond. Curious and alert for any signs of an attack on either one. His head tilted to the side slightly.

Kasimir had frowned just slightly for about half a second when Beyond stepped forward and hugged Tessa. Those green eyes continued to sparkle with amusement though and there was no telling what types of things the human was thinking about in that brain of his. When Chesamai began to speak, Kasimir grinned very brightly at her. "No no. I insist. Please allow us to escort you safely home. I would never be able to forgive myself if something bad happened to you once you were out of my sight." He glanced at Alistair, then to Beyond and Tessa. "Oi..You two...you're making me jealous.."

Chesamai continued her pouting. "You're not the only one who is jealous." She mummbled but stopped once she read Tessa's mind. He's so stupid! She wanted to pull Beyond away and out of danger but she wasn't strong enough to move him. He probably had some kind of plan but she didn't dare try to read his mind. She did it years ago and he was perfectly aware when she snooped. She had nightmares for a year!

Tess' rage was growing, almost blinding, then she felt a hand on her forehead. Looking at the vampire Tess was about to snap, then he grabbed her in a hug. Catching her off guard, Tess' eyes widened as she snapped out of it. Embarrassed that she had almost lost her cool, she pushed away from him. "Kasimir is right, your brother is badly injured, we should make sure you get home safely." Knowing what her own blind rage could have done, her maternal instincts wouldn't allow for this injured vampire to escort the young girl home alone with more powerful, equally enraged vampires lurking about.

(Beyond is the kind of person who knows he is being dumb but doesn't care... He'll get slapped one of these days...)
Beyond was not to happy about being badly injured but he might as well get some fun from it. He quickly grabbed both of Tessa's hands with his own. "Okay, but you have to stay with us once we get home! For one whole night!" His eyes were slightly sparkly but it was all most clear as window glass that he was joking around. To add effect to his joke he flashed her a charming smile.

Chesamai was practically radiating with envy now. She wasn't in love with her step brother but she was very possessive over him. She had all ways been his favorite! She was of course misunderstanding everything.

Alistair remained silent, though he was glad no one had reacted violently towards each other. He glanced at Chesamai for a moment and then his attention was on Kasimir. He knew his friend well, well enough to know how much of a fiend Kasimir really was. Not in the evil sense of the word, but more in a carnal sense of it. He studied the blonde, giving him a look that could only be seen as an almost warning.

Kasimir's eyes had flashed for a moment, the amusement had turned to pure jealousy, but really, why should he feel jealous? He barely knew either of these people. Still, he had planned to share his house with Tessa and now this vampire was trying to make her stay with him. Was this guy trying to one up him? Kasimir shook his head, the sparkle of amusement returning to his eyes when he caught Alistair's look. "Sorry handsome, Tessa and I already have a date with my house." The grinning blonde stepped forward, looped his arm in Tessa's and pulled her close to him. He did look Beyond up and down once, the vampire was rather pretty himself. "But if you really want, I'm sure the three of us could work something out." He raised a suggestive eyebrow and gave the vampire a wink. The human glanced to Alistair and only grinned at the disapproving look on his vampire friend's face.

Brent walked closer to Michael and narrowed his eyes at him. He looked him over and breathed him in. The scent was covered up with the blood of others. There was no way to really tell his motives with everything so clouded. He looked over to Aiden who gave him a signal. Brent nodded his head and turned his attention back to Michael. "How can we be so certain you are of royal blood?" Brent asked.

"Yes, how can we be so sure?" Aiden chimed in. He walked closer but still stood behind his sire. His eyes were slated behind his glasses as he examined the human. "This deal of yours sounds almost too good to be true."

Meanwhile, Weston looked over at Alistair, Kasimer, Beyond, Tess and Chesamai. He said a quick enchantment from his book. He asked that the God and Goddess guide him. With a sigh, he jumped from the building in front of them. "I'm sorry to startle you, but I'm Weston, from earlier. It seems you ran out on me." He turned to the German human. "You smell lovely by the way."

(What is a one up? OwO)

Beyond pulled Tessa away in the gentlest way possible from Kasimir and did a skip like motion as he did so. He basically latched himself onto her arm after he tugged her free from him. "No! She's mine!" Laughter and playfulness laced his voice and he stuck his tounge out at Kasimir. He had intended it to be a joke but now he was becoming serious. He wanted her to stay with him now. "Come on stay with me tonight! My family is one of the best vampire hunting families in the country." He didn't mean to use his mind reading ability to see her life but he did. He wasn't about to tell her that however. Beyond smirked when he heard Chesamai. No one looked through his mind! "Don't try to read my mind Chesamai."

Chesamai risked it and read Beyond's mind when suddenly it was filled with horrible (to her) things. "The Nightmares!" She stopped snooping immediatly.

Michael nodded, glad at the suspicion since it indicated that he was a smart man. He reached into this pocket and pulled out his passport bearing the insignia of the british royal family. He also pulled out a form with all the proper signatures indicating his diplomatic immunity. He showed them both and even held them out if they desired to inspect them closely as he asked, "Is this satisfactory proof?"

Weston cocked an eyebrow at Chesamai. A mind reader it seemed. That could be trouble for him. He wanted to appear tough but it was going to be a nuisance with a mind reader around. He looked over to Beyond. It seemed that there was a fight for the hunter's... affection? This is something he surely had never seen before. He started to laugh. "All of this is over her affections? Am I correct? Or is it more physical than that? There has to be something deeper? Oh, it's been interesting watching this, it truly has been!" he said.

Brent read over the paperwork carefully but it wasn't really his area of expertise. He looked over to Aiden and silently commanded him to look it over. Any screw up and he would be having Aiden's throat grasped tightly in his hands.

Aiden took a step closer and read over the paperwork. Sure enough, it was real. He took one step back. He was once again behind his sire. He looked to Brent and put his head down. "Sire, these papers are real."

"Then we have a deal," Brent said with a sick smile. "Where do we begin?"

((When Kasimir feels that Beyond is trying to 'one up' him he means that he feels Beyond is trying to outdo or be one step ahead of or better than Kasimir.))

When Beyond had taken Tess' hands she had almost clocked him. Who did this vampire think he was? And when in turn, Kasimir pulled her away, she was almost relieved, she didn't want to have to punch the vampire in the face in front of his sweet young sister. But when Kasimir suggested that Beyond join them on their 'date' she frowned. A date? Is this some sort of game to him? As Beyond skipped over and pulled her away again, she began to fume a little. This was indeed, a game. Then from the shadows another vampire appeared, the one who had been chasing her in the alley before! He must have been following her this entire time, his shirt still bloodied from where she had pushed passed him with her knife in hand. In an instant she was armed again. "You're outnumbered here vampire, what is it you want?" she demanded to know.

(Everyone is so negetive to Beyond. He just wants to play!)
Beyond stopped messing around and looked at the new comer. "Who are you?" He was very curious because this meant he had to put up his guard and in turn stop playing with Tessa. "Haven't I seen you before?" He questioned him. He swore he had seen him around town but where?

Chesamai looked in the direction Beyond had looked and took a martial arts stance. She had no idea if she would need to defend herself.

Alistair, was silent. As it was normal for him to watch with minimal interaction or speaking. He only spoke up when he thought something needed to be said. A slight smile on his lips though, often, Kasimir's games amused him. When the other vampire, Weston, came to them, Alistair looked him over. Recognizing him from earlier. Alistair was fine with his presance, unless he decided to do something violent. He glanced at Tessa and raised a brow, silently he positioned himself between her and Weston. Obviously, Tessa seemed anxious around him. Something must've happened before they had added her to their group. "The humans are not dinner this not. Not for you or anyone.." His voice was quiet, and non threatining, but it was firm.

Kasimir had pouted lightly when Beyond pulled Tessa from him again, then he leaped forward a few steps and promptly latched onto Beyond's other arm. Resting his head on the vampire's shoulder and looking up at his face and fluttering those thick, dark eyelashes of his. "Why can't we just share, hm? It'll be fun, I promise." Kasimir's eyebrows and body wriggled in a suggestive manner for a moment, but when Weston appeared, he let Beyond go. Amusement in his green eyes, but a serious expression on his face. Kasimir moved to stand next to Alistair, and when Weston complimented him..if that was a compliment..Kasimir took it as one, he ran a hand through his blonde hair and winked at the vampire. "I'm sure I taste much better than I smell..." When Weston remarked about Tessa's affections, Kasimir glanced over at her and shook his head. "Affections? Nah. It's not so complicated as that. She's got a nice body....But then again, so does that boy there..." He had nodded towards Beyond.
