City of Eternal Secrets
Zero City is a City full of secrets. Humans co-exist with vampires and werewolves and vise versa. Despite the look of peace the city shows at first glance there is still trouble. Some humans hunt the vampires and werewolves, some vampires hunt humans despite the rule against it, some werewolves are monsterous beasts. Assassins for hire roam the streets in disguise and put an end to people's lives. Everyone in this city has a secret from the smallest and meaningless to the biggest and most meaningful. Can you survive this city? Are you the slime that puts danger on the streets? Are you the innocents caught in the middle? Are you the one who protects the innocents? What is your secret? How important is it? Most importantly... Why are you here?
In this RP you can choose to be a Human, Vampire or Werewolf. Your character has to have a secret and it can be a small secret or something huge! I don't care if it can add a major plot twist or if it's something dumb, it just has to be something no one else knows unless you tell them or they find out for themself. RULES: 1. No Godmodding! 2. Follow Menewsha's ToS and Rules! 3. Romance and Violence are encouraged but keep it PG-13. 4. No one liners! At least 5 to 7 sentences. Wrighter's block is understood but give the person somethign to reply to. 5. I can understand not being able to spell something but you should at least be able to make sure we know what you said. If it comes down to it use a spell check or something. 6. This is not a text! Do not use text talk! Do not use *for actions*! Use "For speaking" and Italics for thinking. If you use a phone and can't do something with it inform everyone in OOC useing (), [], {} or - -. 7. Add plot twists, go crazy with the drama! Aim for soap opera if you want! When he was small he got into a fight with Melody and ran away. He was captured by strange people and experimented on. Melody saved him and he never ran away again. The experiment was unstable and he was saved by one of the scientists who experimented on him. The scientist was going to be assassinated and to save his life Beyond became an assassin himself. If he ever stops being an assassin both the scientist and Melody will be targets. Arthur's crimson eyes peered out across the street warily. He had seen lycan scouts run by earlier, though they were probably scanning the neighborhood for the hideout. Angel and Ennarcia were with his squadron. He was a general, and was therefore placed in command of this unit. And attack was probably coming. Midnight maybe. The snow would provide great cover for the werewolf troops. The hideout was a small building located on the edge of the city. It was just big enough for the twenty men under his command, and ten others: healers, cooks, children, etc. They would probably come from the west, outside the city. The streets were too crowded for a full-size skirmish. Hopefully they didn't bring the tiny terror they had recruited. He wasn't quite sure what her powers were, but she was certainly the reason why groups of ten werewolves could rip apart forty vampires, while only losing one or two of their men. He was working on a plan to kidnap the child, but he just hadn't figured out all the details yet. If he could convince Angel to spy on the lycans for him, he might just be able to come up with a full-proof plan. Jai'kar's amber eyes darted over his men, taking in their ragged appearance. They were all in their human forms now, though he doubted they would stay that way. Lack of need for coats and such saved money, but that wasn't the case in their human form. The fur coat of their wolf and hybrid forms offered them no protection while they were human. Indeed, before his eyes, several shifted, sighing slightly at the warmth. The smells of cooking meat rolled over the camp, men lined up to get seconds and thirds already. While they could eat raw meat, most of the men preferred cooked, as the spices gave it a different flavor. He hadn't seen Shizu, his daughter, in some time. She was always in her hybrid form, though the only difference she saw was wolf ears and a tail. It was probably because she was a mix of all three species in the city that she couldn't go full wolf, or even get a fur coat. She was one of the few that needed a winter jacket. She was also their trump card. Her ability to augment powers was simply astounding. It made ten men worth fifty. Sighing, he grabbed a bowl, going in to get a quick meal before they had to move again. Tonight they were planning on striking out at one of the vampire's hideouts. They would need their energy. Shizu walked listlessly among the tents, clutching her stuffed bunny in her hand. It had been a gift from her daddy before he died, and it was something Shizu had never outgrown. One could say Pull-ups were another thing she hadn't outgrown, but that was because she had urinary incontinence. She couldn't learn to pee in the bathroom like an adult anyway. Her bladder didn't work. While she usually hated the childish undergarments, and her incontinence, with a passion, she didn't mind them much today. She had just peed, and the warm feeling still lingered. In this cold, it was quite pleasant. Her pink winter coat was quite thick, but after this long, it couldn't provide that much warmth by itself. Several of the men she passed nodded or waved to her, acknowledging her with a smile. It was no surprise really. She gave them the ability to win battles against four, or five times as many opponents. Not to mention the fact that she could mimic the vampires' powers and render them useless, for the most part. It wasn't as easy as that. They often had more experience, and it was just guesswork that let her deflect their abilities away from her "family." Sighing silently, Tali walked up to one of the cooks, silently pleading for food. The cook smiled at her sweetly, and handed her a plate, well aware of her muteness. Hugging her leg in gratitude, Tali took the bowl and went off to eat. |
Ennarcia stood out in the cold snow with merely her acrobatics clothing on and it was a wonder how she wasn't cold. She readied her chakrams to throw and aimed. She threw one and when it came back a startled Angel came out of hiding. "What the hell was that for Enna?!" "You need to choose your side all ready." Angel sighed at this. The few Werewolves and Vampires that knew he existed were ordered not to hurt him regardless of what side he was on and he had chosen to be nutral at this point. "Go play with Aurther." He told her and she gave him a big silly grin. "Okay!" Ennarcia went off to find Arthur. She was protected by the Queen of vampires. If someone so much as thought about hurting her seriously they were dead meat. She stood behind Arthur once she found him and poked his head once. "What's the plan? Do you need me or Angel for anything?" She questioned with happiness appearant in her voice. To her this was all a game.

"Uh? Oh, yes. There is something you could do," Arthur said, absently rubbing his head where she had poked him as he walked to the maps. They were just local maps, but they were useful for seeing the terrain and alleys of the surrounding area.
"If you and Angel could slip into the lycan camp, you might be able to help us win," Arthur said, pointing towards their estimated location. "I need a spy to help me with a plan that could turn the favor of the war to us. They have a little girl who's power somehow makes them all but invincible. We need to get that girl, but I can't do it with such limited intel. If you could spy for us though, I could come up with a plan and free her from them." He looked at Ennarcia to gauge her reaction to the plan. It would certainly help matters if they had a double agent, and neither of the children should arouse suspicion slipping into the camp. It was well known that the lycans didn't hurt humans, as most of them were once human to begin with. Angel's lycan half would help him get by as well, so it shouldn't be a problem. "Can you do this?" he asked, looking at her eye-to-eye. |
Ennarcia nodded to him. "You got it Arthur!" She said cheerfully. All most nothing got her down and she and Angel and been to the Lycan camp before. She rushed off and grabbed Angel but the neck of his shirt and dragged him towards the Lycan camp. "Hey! What the hell Enna!" He let himself be dragged and when they entered the Lycan camp people waved. They knew both Ennarcia and Angel and suspected nothing of it. "What are we doing in the Lycan camp?" "We're playing spies of course!" She announced cheerily and walked toward the chef were they were both given food. "You could at least stop dragging me along." Angel said as he ate. He hated it when she dragged him everywhere but he had been hungry. "Now where should we play first?"

Jai'kar could hear the conversations of his men faintly, having the traditional enhanced senses of the lycan. Most of them were talking about how they would win tonight, and crush the vampires, all thanks being laid at his daughter's feet. While few of the men knew her name, she was the only child in the camp. The vast majority just used a simple description like the color of her hair, or her size, to convey who they were talking about.
Slurping down the rest of his stew, he stood, heading to the pavilion where the maps were located. His commanders were there already, discussing where their men should be located, how they should attack, and what they should do to crush the resistance. Upon seeing him, the three stood and saluted, awaiting his permission to sit again. Waving them down, he took his own seat and began the war plans. Shizu wandered around the camp some more. Certainly someone would tell her a story, or play a game of chess, or something with her while they were waiting. All of her books were packed away, so they were a no-go. The stew had filled the tiny girl's tummy to the brim, a child's portion for a child's body. Shizu was actually twelve, though she looked far from it. Her Pull-up had gone cold a little while ago, but it would be a while before she needed a change. Still clutching her bunny, Shizu accidentally walked into Angel, having been too lost in thought to notice people were in front of her. Being mute, Shizu could not vocally apologize to the boy, though she tried to show it by lowering her head. Hopefully he wouldn't start yelling at her or something. |
Angel looked down at the tiny girl who bumped into him and smiled. "Hey Shizu, what are you doing?" He knew her name and called her by it like he should. He sighed as he finished the rest of his stew. Ennarcia was off spying somewhere for Arthur.
Ennarcia was currently winning arm wrestling matches against several Lycans. "You guys really stink at this game!" She declared happily before prancing off and finding the tent with the maps. She walked in like it wasn't an important place. "What are you guys doing?" |
Shizu stared up at Angel, frowning slightly. How on earth was she supposed to answer him? She couldn't speak, and she didn't know sign language. Grumbling to herself, she pantomimed walking, using an exaggerated motion. Walking past him, Shizu continued on her quest to find someone to help occupy her while they waited to march again. Underneath her pink snow pants, her Pull-up was beginning to get uncomfortable, though it could take another wetting to two before it needed to be changed. If life on the streets had taught her anything it was that stuff shouldn't be wasted.
Jai'kar looked up upon hearing footsteps, sighing at the sight of Ennarcia. The girl was the incarnation of naivety and innocence. She wouldn't think a bear dangerous until it tore off her arm, and maybe not even after that. The commanders looked up a second afterwards, two of them biting off oaths as they scrambled to cover the maps. "Girl, you know you can't just walk in here as you damn well please!" Ryrdin exclaimed, being the only one to fail at cutting off his curse. It was true though. They didn't tell the soldiers what the battle plans were until they began the attack. It helped keep spies from alerting their enemies, though he doubted Ennarcia was a spy. Most vampires hated humans. "He's right you know," Jai'kar said peaceably as he ushered her out. "Maybe you could go play with Shizu or something." Sighing, he sat back down, opened the maps up again, and continued from where they left off. |
