At lunch you notice her sitting under a tree starring at the ground with an emotionless look on her face.

Sam quietly approched her. "Hey"

She stayed quiet for a bit then spoke. "You know what? i almost decided to give you a chance. I didn't know you were one of them," she said still staring at the ground.

Sam sat next to her. "I heard a saying once. Judge us all not equally"

"i'm not judging i'm just not gonna go through the pain again," she said.

"My family are not bloodthirsty monsters. We're just trying to live normal lives. I've lost count how many ties we've been attacked or almost killed"

"That's not what i mean. It is about how my family was killed. I.... I was dating a vampire but didn't know it at the time. My family were famous for being hunters. He and the others had it planned: Kill me and my sibblings then my parents to whip out the line. But their plan didn't exactly succeed. They killed my brother and sister but when they were about to kill me, my parents killed them. They got me out of town but they were killed trying to distract them," she said. "I haven't trusted anyone since and i haven't gotten close to anyone since. I have been on the run. This is my fourth school since arriving here from romania," she said.

"I'm very sorry. But you can't keep running away"

"But i can't fight them either," she said. She looked at him then sighed. "i guess i could give you a chance. What do you want to do?" she asked.

"Would you like to come over to my house after school?"

"I don't know. What about your family. I did try to kill them," she said.

"They are very forgiving. My brother's girlfriend hated vampires until she got to know us"

"Ok sure i guess. It's gonna be akward though for me atleast," she said.

"Don't worry. My family are very kind"

"Ok then after school i guess," she said.

"Great!" Sam said with a smile.

AFter school, Stasha waited for sam outside of school.

Sam greeted her and walked her to his house. "Here it is, home sweet home"

"YOur house is cool. i like the style," she said.

Sam opened the door, and was greeted by his father. "Hey Sam, who's your friend?" Michael asked. "Dad, this is Stasha. She's the new girl at school"

"It's nice to meet you sir," she said.

"So how do you like it here so far?" Michael asked.

"Well it's exciting enough," she said.

At that moment, Hunter came home. "Hey everybody, I-YOU!"

Stasha said nothing, not wanting to upset him even more.
