Regan let himself be pushed aside as Vex woke up. Though shocked upon hearing her words as she'd stared up at him... Somehow he wasn't so surprised. The woman had decided to come swimming even if she knew she was weak. It made a strange feeling grow in the pit of his stomach as he listened quietly to the conversation happening in front of him. The redhead sighed a little as the wolf started to whine, and put a hand upon his shoulder with a light squeeze.
"We both worked so hard to save you, because we care for you Vex. On that point I think even we can agree." Tilting his head to the side, the vampire offered up a small smile to the blond. "Besides, I do owe you. Or have you forgotten my promise? Anything you want Vex, anything I can give you is yours." glancing at the wolf, Regan could only hope the words he spoke weren't going to break the tremulous truce which had formed unspoken between them.

Fern quieted down to asoft whimper, wadeing back to dry land to kneel next to Loki. Se wrapped her arms around his lower torso, hugging him tight. Tears streamed down her face, the idea of being alone in the inn terrified her. A small layer of mashed patato gravy would smear across his back as she silently cried. He would feel her begin to nuzzle against the left side of his back. She stared down at Vex, still nuzzling Loki frantically.
Victor smiled to himself, feeling particularly pleased that the aquaphobia treatment seemed to be working. Fern's crying made the wicked looking vampire's fangs protrude more with excitement. He had to think of a nice way to get the same reaction after reclaiming her. Death wouldn't be the end for her; Victor's smile seemed to eerily increase in length as he ignored that whelp Regan's demand.
Victor could easily slay everyone in that area, or at least the vampire sensed so. Regan was more of an aristocrat to the old vampire, fighting with his hands wasn't the bulk of his lifetime. Victor wasn't stupid. A bullet was more effective for killing groups.,His smile dying down, he sped away to find a secluded area nearby.
As he turned to head towards the front of the building, he lept high; nearly reaching one hundred feet, to stand atop a lightpost. His black attire helped hide him, those below would at most see an unclear image in the darkness. There were plenty of broke people these days that would more than happily burn down such a quaint building.
Several minutes would go by, and a lone man would head out into the streets, a hoodie pulled over his head to hide his face. What this faceless man specialized in was arson, and from the sound of it, there was magic involved. The thug chuckled as he created a small flame with his hand, pulling down his bandana to light a cigarette. A small armpatch was really his only defining feature. It appeared to be a star of chaos, and in the center was a human skull set aflame and deteriorating slowly. What those in the magic world would know, the skull was actually elven.
(Dear god I feel disgusted. If Vex were only jailbait, this would be almost like Twilight lol. I feel so gross)

Rida stiffened when the other person did, a drifting cloud moving away from the moon to reveal the other to be a male, one with bright red hair, clinging closer to the tree when he spoke. The neko had been close to stepping out when the male rushed away, and in the distance, Rida saw a strange male with canine ears and tail rescuing a blonde. Watching as the redhead pushed the wolf away, Rida wondered why he had allowed that. Shrugging mentally, he nibbled his bottom lip, curiosity finally getting the better of him as he slinked closer carefully. Or he thought carefully after wincing when he felt a twig snap loudly under foot, and he wasn't even hidden yet behind a tree.
Standing in place for a few moments, just watching them, especially the canine girl from earlier nuzzling up against the wolf, he flushed lightly, embarrassed at having been spying on them and knowing that by now they would have caught him. "Is ah...Is everything ok?" He asked softly as he moved closer, curling his tail around, where he held it in his hands nervously.
Aine had picked up another apple slice and dipped it in the caramel as the other spoke. Blinking at the young woman, the fae thought about it, munching on her apple thoughtfully. "Sure. Why not?" She commented, picking up the plate of the apples, and the plate of chips. Maybe one of the others there would enjoy them more than her. Sliding away from the table, she sat in a chair next to the brunette, sliding the chips away from herself, somewhat closer to the other girl incase she wanted them. "Oh, sorry. My name is Aine." The fae told the other with a warm smile, and extending her hand. Just because she didn't look it didn't mean she had no manners. "Who else are we waiting for?" The fae asked after a few moments, pulling a cup away for herself and one for the other. Pouring the tea, she quickly fixed up her cup before offering the stuff to the other girl.

Her eyes stayed on him as he chuckled and felt a little sad as he laughed. But Sikura started to blush as he called her Light of my Heart. She nodded when he spoke of Reorik and Priscilla as her eyes stayed on him. The young woman felt happier as he said she could stay as long as she wanted. "I will never tire of your company. I will probably stay here until the day I die." Sikura walked with him as she smiled. "I know but it really meant something to me. Comforting me when I arrived, running your fingers through my hair as my wounds were tended, and talking to me like you have no one else. Making me feel like a person and not just a slave for men. "

((No Regan does NOT sparkle in the sunlight. He might get sunburn if he stays out too long though, just like anyone else. XD))
Turning away from the group sitting upon the ground, he turned to regard the neko quietly. It seemed like things were drawing in more and more people. Agian he felt that familiar presence in the wind, making him growl silently to himself. Shaking it off, Regan stood and stretched quietly. "Things will be getting better soon, and hopefully Loki and I won't try to rip each other apart anytime soon." chuckling the vampire regarded the person standing before him with a slight frown.
It was a little hard to tell if the neko was male or female, but the vampire managed in the end. "My name is Regan, and you are?" As he spoke redhead kept an ear open for what Vex would say next, just in case she addressed herself to him.
Smiling, Priscilla reached out to grasp the offered limb. "And I am Priscilla. I hope you forgive me for ignoring you when I first entered." Remembering her rude behavior from earlier that evening made Priscilla blush form embarrassment. To think that s she had acted like such a spoiled brat! It was horrible.
"Luce and Sikura should be joining us," added the woman after hearing Aine's question. A grumbling sound issued from the brunette's stomach, causing her to reach out to grab an apple. She wasn't much one for chips, they were far too fattening and not quite up to her standards. Besides, the oil was horrible for her hands making them all wet and uncomfortable.

((Haha Lucien! I think I can see the similarities, but it's been a while since I saw that movie. Lol In any case, I don't think you should feel disgusted. The only disgusting part of the Rp so far has been Sheldon XD))
Vex didn't respond to anyone. Again, she was feeling really confused. People didn't care for people like her, now suddenly, two people who she'd both only wanted to steal from were showing immense interest in her well being. It just wasn't something she was used to. She felt akward. Of all the men she'd been around and conned, besides Cade, these two were the only two who made her feel guilty about the things she did. In fact, maybe she preferd when no one cared about her, it made doing those things a lot easier.
Instead of responding, she pushed herself up to a sitting position as Fern came to nuzzle Loki. It seemed Vex wasn't the only one who thought there was something special about him. She smiled faintly at the site. She was never a big fan of cute little animals or anything mushy of the sort. But Fern and Loki's strange bond made her smile.
Appearing in deep thought for a moment, Vex half wished Loki really had let her drown. All she'd ever been to anyone was a giant burden, even in death now apparently. What was she to do now? Continue living this lifestyle, on the run, she couldn't. She couldn't do it anymore. Looking down, she opened her mouth to speak, to say thank you to the two who had saved her. But she wasn't thankful, in fact, she was kind of angry about it.
Standing now, she moved to pick up her dress, turning to face them angrily. "You should have let me drown," she repeated. "I'm no good for anyone, not for myself, and not for you either. You don't know anything about me, and you're better off that way." The sudden mood swing was surely unexpected, as she turned and made her way back to the Inn, where she stormed inside, slamming the door behind her and stomping up the stairs to her room.
Throwing her dress down onto the bed, she walked into the bathroom, stubbing her toe on one of the heels. Frowning, she cursed angrily down at them before turning to see her own angry expression in the mirror. She stopped, amethyst eyes staring back at her. She truly was a mess. Her frown faded into a look of pity, then into a look of sadness as tears began to stream down her face. What was happening to her? She hadn't even cried over Cade, in fact, Vex couldn't remember the last time she cried at all. It must have been the two close calls in such a short amount of time. Her own recklessness catching up to her. Turning her back to the mirror she slid down the front of the cabinet, hugging her legs as the first tears since her early childhood flowed down her face.

Loki relaxed a bit as Fern came closer to him, then clung to him and nuzzled him. He turned his head slightly to watch her for a moment, whispering some soothing words to her and reassuring her that she was safe, that nothing bad would happen to her here, he spoke in that archaic language of his. The one she seemed to understand. Loki glanced at Regan when the vampire spoke, and his expression for a moment was maybe one of shame for the way he had acted earlier. Maybe. When Vex spoke, Loki's ears perked up and his attention turned to her. Though as she spoke, his ears drooped again. "But...Vex..!" His brow furrowed as she picked up her dress and walked away from them. "But..I want to know everything.." Loki's voice trailed off a bit as she went.
Slowly Loki stood, turning he reached down and picked Fern up. Holding her close and gently to him. When Loki turned his eyes to Regan they held hurt, sorrow and just a tiny bit of anger. The wolf sighed lightly. "C'mon, let's get this little one inside and dry." Loki didn't move yet, his eyes were on the neko boy, and he stared at the boy for a moment, then shrugged shifting Fern a bit. "C'mon kitty, back inside with you too."
"You are a person, and you should never be treated as anything less." Luce's brow had creased just slightly and then the expression was gone. "No one here will ever treat you so cruelly. All living things should be treated with kindess and respect." He pulled his arm from her hand, and then slipped that arm around her waist to pull her a bit closer as they walked. She was so soft, not just physically but the way she moved, the way she talked. All of it conveyed a softness to it. Luce greatly enjoyed this softness she conveyed, it was refreshing. Especially after being around Loki. That wolf, he was so rough around the edges. Luce blinked and smiled. "I think everyone is like flowers, sure they are strong and tough. Some even have thorns for protection, but deep down. They are all fragile and sometimes need a strong but kind hand to guide and protect them."

Turning around in time to hear Vex's parting words, the vampire could only sigh. Moving to Loki, he patted his shoulder again in comfortingly. "Let's give her some time alone. The Inn will keep an eye on her, won't it?" Mumbling about the improbability of Vex harming herself within the place, Regan finally ended up shaking his head. Whatever the woman did, whoever she chose or even if she chose no one, he only wished that she found what she searched for. It seemed like something was missing from her life, there was no other explanation for her impromptu swim.
As Loki gathered up Fern and began walking towards the Inn, the vampire turned to Rida. "He's right you know, we should head inside. "

Cytria gave a dry throaty laugh but she quickly shook of his hand. "hmn while i appreciate the offer, you most likely would get killed before you saved me from any such thing, but as to helping you with sikura's family issue, i would love to. I was trying to follow the group who loki had turned away with such threats and look where they got us both"
Cytria looked around as they walked on, heading back towards the hotel, personally glad that they group following was beginning to disperse. "good, at the rate they are leaving, we won't have to worry about leading any to the inn, I'm sure Luce would appreciate not having his evening interrupted." she said in slight humor remarking on his almost obvious plans for the evening though she had no idea of what was happening at the inn at the moment.

Rida tensed when the vampire looked at him, remember the way he'd been angry earlier. Shaking his head he mentally slapped himself, the vampire, Regan, had just saved someone, why would he be a bad guy? When the wolf also spoke, Rida nodded. "I'm uh...I am Rida." The neko responded, shyly, still wringing his tail between his hands even as he moved closer to the group, but kept a reasonable distance. Groups were always a good thing, but at the same time he didn't know these people.
Aine laughed lightly, noticing the blush. "Please, don't worry about it. I would probably have done the same. And I wasn't really making myself very friendly either." She waved the apology away. Noticing how the other avoided the chips, she picked up the plate and moved the on the other side of the tea tray, while moving the plate of sliced apples and other fruit more between the pair. "This may be silly, but do you have a favorite color rose?" Aine asked after a few silent moments, interrupted only by her munching on the sweetly tart apples.

Her eyes stayed on the demon and smiled as he spoke. Sikura blushed as his arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer to him as they walked. She looked at him as she walked so close to him with her soft and graceful movements. "That makes sense. Every person is a different kind of flower. Whether kind, harsh, lovely, less lovely, or unique. Every person is their own flower." The young woman said as they approached the stairs. "Luce, can I take you up on your offer of warming my bed? Just by sleeping in it with me?" She blushed as her soft voice asked him a question that could be taken the wrong way.

Vex cried until she couldn't cry anymore, sitting there in the bathroom floor with her head rested on her knees. After a moment she sat up, wiping at her face. Still in her awful funk, Vex walked out of the bathroom and to her bed, turning off the bedside lamp that had been left on earlier, peeling off the wet undergarments, and climbing under the thin sheet. She faced away from the door where she could see out the window and lay there in deep thought. Why had they saved her? She didn't need to be wasting space on this earth.
Try as she might, she couldn't close her eyes to sleep. Instead she continued staring out the window to the stars. The possibility that she would stay locked away in her room and refuse to come out was getting greater with each passing moment.

The vampire regarded the neko with a small smile, which he hoped looked reassuring. "It's a pleasure to meet you Rida." Regan wasn't quite sure why he offered his arm politely to the younger man, perhaps it was the way he was dressed? It was the Inn, it was making him act strangely... At least the atmosphere of the place was. "Allow me to escort you inside," added the vampire sounding quite sure of himself. Mentally Regan was attempting to figure out what had come over him, until he decided that he was finally acting like himself without worrying what anyone else thought. That was the great change in him.
Grabbing a few orange slice, the young woman munched on them thoughtfully. Her favorite colored rose... Red was beautiful, but it seemed a little too dark and evoked too many passionate emotions. White was simply too pure, and reminded Priscilla of weddings with all the bells and frills. Purple was alright, but... "Blue, they aren't too passionate but there's a certain mystery which clings to roses of the color that I find enchanting." Smiling politely at the other woman Priscilla asked, "And your favorite colored rose?"

Fern continued to nuzzle Loki, shivvering at how cold his body had become. She would press her whole body against him, concerned that he'd been damaged. Loneliness scared her more than anything else. A memory came to mind, being locked in a pitch black room with hardly any food would make anyone delirious. She shivvered violently, her own body becoming cold from Loki's. Clingling to him, Fern looked up at him with loving eyes, wishing she could speak more with him
What had happened at the pond, Loki seemed flustered when the unnatural one helped Vex. It confused Fern a bit, didn't Loki already have someone to help? Wiping her face clean, she sat quietly, thinking over the incident.
Reorik nodded, he hadn't felt anything like panic from Luce, surely things hadn't gone to hell yet. He would keep an eye out behind them every now and again. It would take at least a bit for the two of them to reach the inn.*
Victor lept off the lightpost, searching for a higher vantage point to watch the little inn burn. A nearby park had a small clocktower in it, giving him the perfect view to watch from. His little saboteur would be able to flush that little bitch out of the building, than all he would need to do is snatch her up. He suprssed a maniacal giggle as he thought of something nice to submit her to. Chains and a whip would draw a few screams from her; his face changed to frustration as he glanced at his hand. Maybe seeing everyone in the building burning alive, would instill some greater fear of fire?

Loki kept his arms around Fern, hugging her tightly but gently. He felt her shiver and frowned. He definitely needed to get her inside and dry, as well as himself. He looked down at the girl in his arms and gave her a reassuring smile as well as a light kiss on the top of her head. When the vampire spoke to Rida, and offered his arm to the boy, Loki looked at him, then at the cat. "Tread carefully, that kitty's been playing with Luce. Surely you can smell it on him." But Loki had smiled a bit. "Bet you had fun, didn't you, kitten?" The wolf started towards the Inn.
Luce was a little surprised when Sikura asked him to bed with her. Though he did not think she meant it for the purposes of sating carnal hungers. He smiled down at her. "Nothing would please me more than spending the night with you, my love." Luce's words were sincere, and gently he guided Sikura down the stairs. Slowly, one step at a time. "I will not do anything that you do not want me to do." He spoke the words a bit reassuringly to her and gently. It was true. He would never do anything that wasn't wanted of him. "You will always be safe here."

Sikura blushed and smiled as he accepted sleeping in her bed even though they would be just sleeping. Her eyes went to the stairs as she walked down them with his guidance. She nodded and looked at him as they reached the bottom of the stairs. "I believe you." The woman looked him in the eyes and said softly so only he could hear. "When I am ready, I'll tell you first." Her eyes went to Priscilla who had been talking to another woman. Sikura grew a bit nervous at meeting someone new but it wasn't nearly as bad because she was a woman. But she was so pretty and she was barely dressed in a nightgown and robe.

Fern shivvered with delight, loving the feel of his soft kiss. She would waittill none were looking before leaning up to lightly kiss Loki on the lips. A slight bit of mischieviousness danced in her eyes as she hugged him close. Brown eyes would stare up at him as her petite hands lightly pinched at his wet clothing, peeling it off the skin in different sections of his chest.
Now only a block away, Victor's hired thug whistled to himself as the building came into sight. Even from the outside he could tell the place was odd; almost like it were a living beacon of magic in the neighbourhood. He would observe the building for a while longer before attempting to complete his job.

Regan regarded Loki with a half-smile. "I don't believe it, you're actually being civil to me." turning to the cat-boy he smelled the air experimentally, only to smile wider. Yes, there was a certain scent hanging about which reminded him of Luce. There was no doubt what they had done either. Shrugging, the vampire kept his arm politely extended as he waited for the cat. He didn't mind not entering the Inn right away, though Vex weighed heavily on his mind. "I'm just being polite you know," added Regan for everyone's benefit.
Lifting her head from her oranges, the young woman watched quietly as Luce and Sikura entered the main room of the Inn. It was strange how her heart warmed in a way it usually didn't. The snobby brunette was actually glad to see them! Finally she'd made some friends, true friends and not the kind who wanted her money. "Sikura, Luce come sit with Aine and I! We have tea and snacks a plenty." Waving them over, the brunette made placed to cups out quietly in spots facing the two women already seated.

It didn't take as long as one would think to get to the inn, the long loping strides of Cytria quickly eating up the distance. even then it still took 15 minutes to get to where they could see the inn. there was also someone else hiding out in the shadows just a little ways from it.
stepping into the shadows she pulled Reorik after her and out of sight. "check it out, some one is watching the inn." she hissed quietly motioning for Reorik to peek around the corner. she checked along the niche and alley beside them for a place to climb to the roofs, as she wanted a vantage point on the shadowy person "wish i knew why i feel hes untrustworthy..." Cytria thought to herself as she spotted a ladder for a fire escape on the building next to her.
"perfect" she muttered as she used the dark to move up the side of the building. luckily the ladder, and side of the building were out of sight of the man, a fact illustrated by the lack of sight of the man.

Rida frowned when the vampire had offered to escort him, but the neko slowly let go of his tail before moving closer. When the wolf spoke about what he'd done, the kitty blushed bright scarlet. "It...I...Umm..." The little neko floundered for something to say even as he hesitantly took the tall vampire's arm. Smiling up at the redhead shyly, navy eyes turned back to the ookami, a light frown tugging his lips. He went back over what the wolf had said, realizing he might have been teasing, the neko collected enough of himself that he smiled a little before sticking his tongue out. After doing so, Rida tightened his hold on the vampire slightly and moved closer. Maybe if the wolf got mad at Rida, the vampire would protect him?
"My favorite rose color. Well thats a rather tough choice." Aine commented, lifting the cup to sip at her tea. Did she have a favorite color? She didn't think so. She was a Rose Fae, so she knew all of them by heart, even the ones humans felt were not made in nature, such as the blue colors. Aine had created a few blue ones, they were used in courtship by her people. "I think...I think I'd have to pick more than one. I like Red, Purple, and White." She finally decided, setting her cup down just as Priscilla spoke aloud for another girl, Sikura, and Luce to join them. The fae smiled warmly when she looked at the girl, noting the way the girl seemed uneasy looking at the fae. When she turned to Luce, the smile turned coy, and she waved at the both of them before turning back to her sliced apples.

returning the neko's smile with one of his own, the vampire began wondering what this shy one's blood might taste like. Considering what trouble such thoughts had brought before Regan tamped the curiosity down. As Rida moved closer, Regan patted his arm absentmindedly as he began to walk towards the Inn."I don't suppose you caught my name earlier when I said it. It's Regan." He wanted to take his time, to watch the moon and the stars. The peace he'd been searching had been interrupted and now all he wanted to do was find it again.
Picking up a cup of tea, the young woman began sipping it quietly as she listened to Aine. It was warm and delicious, sweet and tasted of berries. The liquid was exactly the way Priscilla like it. If only she could find a man who suited her just as well. Golden eyes lifting she regarded Luce and tried not to scoff a little at the idea of she and him together. No, if anyone interested her in that place it was Loki and his manners, or lack of them, made Priscilla rebuke that thought also. "Three colors that are quite fascinating in and of themselves, quite an interesting combination actually."

Reorik smiled to Cytria as she began to climb up to get a better view of the man. She was definately right, he seemed to have a purpose of standing there. Reorik would take the low road, sticking to shadows to get up closer. He could smell something odd, sulphur maybe?
The high goblin waved to Cytria as he crouched low behind some trash cans, continuing to get closer to him till the smell almost became unbearable. He slowed hiw reathing while waiting for the shady man to make a move. Reorik couldn't help but smile at the thought, he was just as shady.
Victor blinked seeing something quite odd; namely a rather large woman standing atop the nearby apartment complex near the inn. Biting his lip, he almost couldn't bear to continue his watch. Although it wasn't likely anyone would be able to link him to it, a plan being foiled was always a morale dropper. He picked up his phone, texting the man.
The unknown man would take out his cellphone, looking over his recent text. Lighting up another cigarette; making sure to make it appear as if he had a lighter, he would take a long drag and walk off towards the small pond, it wasn't like it belonged to anyone but the city, law enforcement wuld pay no attention to him there.

"hmn... no flash of a striker, or smell of phosphate, nor click of a lighter... what was that?" Cytia had not been in the position to read the text before the man had returned to the main screen but she smiled as he walked away. "good, hopefully he won't be back anytime soon."
it took but a moment for her to climb down, this time nearly on top of reorick, before she looked around waving a hand in front of her face to clear the air. "ugh, whats with the sulfur?" she asked as she looked around, though for what she wasn't sure. "smells like a hot springs" something that surprised her given the steady down pour of rain that had somewhat recently stopped falling and the smell of rain should have masked it.
