((Glad to have you back Kry ))

Watching the world outside the Inn from her spot on the window ledge, Briar's ears twitched slightly at the sound of Jin's voice. She turned her head to watch the two as he left the building. Her denim colored eyes remained on Vex as the woman seemed to be looking for someone. Briar was soon distracted by a tiny floating speck as she crouched then leaped out into the air, claws gripping nothing as she came crashing to the floor.

Unsure of whoever made up the saying that cats always landed on their feet, Briar did a mental scoff laying there on the floor on her back. Her ears picked up the sad sound of Vex's goodbye and she rolled over in time to see the Inn door close. In the next moment, Briar's eyes caught the speck again and she began another sorry attempt at stalking the thing. She would pounce around the main area of the Inn until something else caught her attention.

Yawning a little the vampire felt his eyes flutter closed. Having Loki cuddled so close made him feel safe and sleepy all at the same time. Murmuring softly to himself, Regan drifted off to sleep without realizing it.

Priscilla shook her head at the sight. Plopping down upon the bed she tried to think of where the little pixie could have wandered off too. Remembering the way she'd acted around flowers, the brunette decided to go and take a look at the gardens. Or maybe not, she just didn't know what to do!

Twisting and turning around upon hearing a very distinct pop, Callista let a frightened squeak escape from her lips. Where had Dusk gone? A crash resounded within the room as the plat fell to the ground as she stood. Food and mess forgotten the silver haired woman began searching in vain trough the room for her friend.

((I'm back!!! Sorry I left you hanging Death!))

Reaching a cold hand out Phaedra squeezed Sikura's arm once. "I'm sorry you had nightmares Sikura. I wish I could take them away." She dropped her hand from her friends arm and grabbed her cup. She noticed the way she lowered her voice when she spoke of being pregnant. "Are you going to tell everyone soon?" She asked in the same low voice. The demoness wasn't going to be the one to spill the beans. Oh no, she was a better friend than that. "I hope he wasn't either. He still sleeping?" She felt horrible for the two of them. To go through everything they had..life sucked royally.

Coral wiggled around and snuggled back against Ferewen. She continued to make grass baskets. Her doll was still curled up in her lap. She wasn't letting it out of reach. Looking around she wished that her Rida or Pris would come soon. She hated being away from them for to long. The little pixie felt a little bad for not waiting for them. But she had been itching to play outside. Pixies weren't use to being indoors for long. They lived outside, did everything outside. It was going to take a while for Coral to get use to being indoors.

She touched her friend's cold hand and smiled as she looked at her friend. "Thanks, but they don't bother me much." Sikura rubbed her stomach and nodded. "I want to but they might figure it out soon." Her belly more noticeable as the child grows larger within her belly. "Yes, his energy and some of his life force was taken. But he should wake up in a day or so. But I don't know what to say if he asks me to come home. I don't really have a reason to stay here anymore. I mean I love this place and all my friends are here but...my siblings and my parents' graves." The woman sighed and sipped her orange juice before taking a small bite of her toast.

Phaedra smiled softly and nodded. It was good she was going to tell everyone soon. Though she didn't know anyone that well she could tell they all loved Sikura. How could you not? She was a sweet and innocent in a way. "Well.." she said softly pausing slightly before continuing on. "It really depends on what you need. I guess you just need to search yourself and then ask if you want to go back. If you don't want to go back..well I would stay then. When the times comes you'll know." The demoness gave her another soft smile before eating more of her breakfast. She herself probably needed to get going. Her brother would catch up to her soon, but she really didn't want to run anymore.

((Sorry it took me a while to post. Before was so busy, then when I finally get to posting, what I had typed up tragically got lost. I know I saved it on Word, but it seems the damn program ate it >.<))

Letting the door shut behind him, Rida let himself be led away, ear twitching as he heard Pris screech, but he thought nothing of it. Maybe she had seen a rat or a bug or something? He didn't know. Blushing faintly as the older demon held his hand, he squeezed it gently, wondering if the demon was nervous or not. Unlike yesterday when he could feel that rage so strongly, he couldn't feel anything now. He was still curious about that though. Passing through the main room, the neko blinked at the near emptiness, but he wasn't terribly surprised. It was still so early.

Walking into the garden with Luce, Rida breathed in the crisp fresh air, feeling very content. Looking around, his eyes catching sight of a butterfly that flew to some flowers, some that were purple, others white, but the scents that played around Rida's nose were...Well, he found them interesting as the mixed scent seemed familiar. Moving closer to the plants, tugging the demon with him, the curious neko investigated, never letting go of the others hand. Leaning down to where the two plants seemed to cross, the neko breathed in the heady scent deeply, closing his eyes to really focus on it as he stood up straight.

Frowning lightly, he leaned back and against Luce, humming softly. He knew he knew this scent, maybe something close to it anyway. And his nose was telling him it was nearby too. "What did you want to talk about Luce?" Rida asked softly, almost like he was afraid to break the peace. Turning to look at him face-to-face, that niggling scent enraptured him again and he leaned forward, one hand coming up to the demon's chest as the neko stood on his tip-toes. Nose lightly brushing the soft skin at the neck and collarbone area, Rida found the smell, knew why it smelled familiar and was wondering why he wanted more. Stepping back as much as he could without letting go of the other, the neko looked up at him in confusion. "What's wrong with me?" He murmured, hoping but knowing that the other would hear him.

Luce smiled gently as he and Rida moved through the Inn and out into the garden. He followed Rida as the neko ventured closer to some specific flowers and sniffed at them. Lilacs. The demon was silent, only watching with a hint of amusement as Rida inspected the flowers. When Rida turned to him, placed that hand on his chest and leaned up to sniff at him, Luce tilted his head to the side slightly and let his eyes flutter closed for a moment. When Rida pulled back, those eyes opened and Luce smiled kindly to him.

"You have tasted my blood once, sometimes it does strange things to people. Sometimes it makes them want more." Luce probably could have said much more about those things, but it wasn't very important at the moment. "I have brought you out here so that we may talk about you, though. You nearly called me 'master' yesterday." Not much slipped past Luce's notice, and he was quick to get straight to the point. "I would know why. I am not your master, Rida. You are free here, but such a slip, it makes me wonder. Do you want me to be your master?" He spoke softly, the way he always did, and his words were gentle. His tone one of mostly curiosity. Luce certainly wouldn't hesitate to collar Rida, even in the back of his mind the demon had been plotting such a thing from the first time he had laid eyes upon the neko.

The neko looked up in confusion at the older demon. "Tasted your blood? It was that purple stuff, wasn't it?" He questioned softly, then shook his head. Right now it wasn't as important. What was important was his slip yesterday. Flinching away, Rida stepped back a few steps and wrapped his arms around himself. "Free. I wish I was. I am free of the abuse of bad people who would guilt me into staying longer so they could beat me some more. But I do not think I am truly free." He murmured, turning and studying the flowers. It was hard for him to talk about this. He didn't want to make the other mad. "As long as I continue to wander, unclaimed, I can't be free. Someone will always try to claim me. And if Lady Priscilla and Coral come with...I don't want to see them get hurt. I guess if I had to pick a master, I would choose you." The kitty admited quietly, blushing lightly as he glanced back at the other.

That niggling feeling from earlier was still bothering him, something so good was happening but he felt like something bad was going to happen anyway. He hoped not. Whether Luce claimed him or not, Rida felt the Inn was his home, and he didn't want to leave, or see bad things happen to the tenants. Deciding he needed reassurance more than the scattered remains of his pride, he quickly turned and cuddled up against the older demon, nuzzling his cheek against the others chest. "You don't have to. I shouldn't need one anymore...But the thought makes me feel better. And I know you wouldn't hurt me." He whispered softly.

With a sigh Priscilla stood from the bed and adjusted her rumpled dress before leaving the room. Soon enough she found herself sitting at the bar with a bottle in her hand and a rather dazed expression. This was perhaps the first time the noble drank more then a single glass of wine. Already the effects were visible in a strange kind of way. She swayed a little upon her seat, and ended up leaning against the counter with a flurry of thoughts running trough her mind. At least none of them were concerned with the worry she felt.

Stretching out, Briar noticed Priscilla at the bar. She decided that she had become bored enough now, that she would check these people out. After all, none of them had tried to hurt her, so what could possibly go wrong? She moved around the back of the bar and hopped up directly in front of Priscilla without warning before carefully moving forward to sniff at the bottle in her hand.

Upon the first sniff, Briar immediately pulled back, shaking her head. Her ears were flat against her head and she looked from Priscilla to the bottle and back again. That stuff smelled just like the stuff her previous owners drank, it was awful. Why anyone would want to drink something that smelled as if it could knock you out was beyond her. But still, the woman looked almost sad.

Briar sat down in front of Priscilla, studying her for a moment as her tail twitched back and forth. She thought back to all the times she ever felt sad. All she wanted was someone to hold her close, someone to be near her, and love her. She stood and began to rub gently under Priscilla's chin. She wasn't yet ready to transform into her human appearance, so rather than a hug, Briar hoped this would do.

Lifting slightly confused eyes she tilted her head to the side and reached out to pet the cat. With a goofy smile the brunette pulled Briar close to cuddle her lightly. The kitty reminded her of another one, but he was outside asking to belong to someone else. Suddenly she was sad all over again and trying not to start crying.

"Well little kitty, I don't suppose you'd understand being c-c-confused." The last words were hiccuped out. Priscilla's worry for a certain little pixie had disappeared. Nonetheless it was mostly because she knew someone from the Inn was probably looking over her. The young woman just wanted to understand Rida, and she was having a horrible time trying to.

At the petting, Briar purred softly. She'd never really been given attention like that until today. It was new and almost strange, but she liked it. It made her feel like she had some sort of worth, rather than so unloved and worthless. She allowed herself to be picked up and blinked up at Priscilla as she hiccuped out her words. This human was strange. She'd never heard anyone talk like that before.

Briar sniffed up at the woman and got another big whiff of alcohol. She shook her head again and sneezed. It was so strong for such a sensitive nose. In any case, Briar understood confusion just fine. Every day in her home she was confused of who or what she was, why she was there, why the parents didn't love her the way they loved the others. And now, sitting here with Priscilla, she was confused again by the strange woman. She let out a small meow as if to respond that she too knew what so much confusion felt like.

Her tummy grumbled loudly and she jumped. It wouldn't be the first time she'd felt starved, by far. She was just so preoccupied she'd not thought about the feeling for some time and the loud sound startled her in this strange world. Her denim blue eyes searched for scraps on the bar

Luce watched Rida and listened to the neko attentively as he voiced his fears and worries. "No one has a right to claim you, sweetling. All people belong only to themselves." The words were spoken softly, gently and only after Rida had turned to Luce and nuzzled against him. "I am glad you would choose me though, of your own volition." His arms had gone around Rida, fingers running gently through his hair and down his spine as he held the cat close. "I will claim you, as my own, but you will still have freedom." He lowered his head and nuzzled Rida's neck gently, placing a soft kiss on the side of the neko's throat. When Luce pulled back slightly he moved his hand to Rida's neck, a finger gently tracing a circle all the way around the cat's throat, then Luce stepped back, held his hands out, palms up.

The collar that formed on his hands was gilded silver, with gentle fabric around the inside so it would not chafe and irritate. Roses were carved around the sides and the collar was closed, it had no seams and no locks. No way of opening. In the center of the front of the collar was Luce's sigil. The black crescent moon with a crimson rose wrapped around it. Luce turned the collar around in his hands, so that Rida could look it over. "Does it please you, love?" Luce would not put the collar on the young man if Rida did not like it. Instead he would make another, and if that did not please, then he would make more until Rida was happy with one. No matter how long or how much magic it would take.

Loki grunted lightly and stirred. He rolled over, opened his eyes and slipped out of bed. He glanced at the bed. Hoping Regan would either be gone doing something or still asleep. He wasn't sure when he had made his decision, but he had opened his crimson eyes knowing. It was time to leave. It was a hard decision to leave Regan behind, his life mate. Loki would not take another, his way was the old way, the way of wolves. His ears twitched slightly and he moved as quietly as he could. The inn had provided a clean suit of charcoal grey with a black button down shirt to wear beneath it. Loki dressed as quickly and silently as he could. He brushed his hair, pulled it back in a low, loose ponytail and pulled the black fedora down on his head.

He eased the door open and slipped out of it quietly.

The vampire twitched lightly in his sleep. Movement had him reaching out to find his companion, but finding nothing but rumpled cloth instead had Regan wide awake in seconds. The redhead didn't even bother throwing on any clothes, instead he ran from the room with panic in his eyes.

"Loki!" One word yelled out to echo in the silence of the corridor. Regan had stopped at the doorway and looked at the other man with confusion in his eyes. Maybe he'd over reacted, but for some reason he had a very hard time believing that.

Priscilla hiccuped lightly and smiled as the kitten nuzzled up against her for a little while. It was almost like the little one was trying to comfort her. Then the cat was gone and she leaning her head against the counter again sadly while trying to make her alcohol hazed mind think about something that had confused her even when sober. Not the best of ideas.

Loki flinched, and ducked his head slightly. The wolf hadn't even made it halfway down the hall when Regan yelled his name. Slowly he turned to the face the vampire, a smile on his lips. "I was just going to the kitchen..I didn't mean to wake you." It was only half a lie, he hadn't meant to wake the vampire at all. He had been slinking away, and with Regan standing there looking at him, Loki suddenly felt very foolish and ashamed. He shifted on his feet, his bushy wolf tail hanging limp behind him. His ears drooping beneath the fedora he wore. That smile was still on his lips, his facial expression certainly didn't match how Loki really felt. "You can go back to sleep, I won't be gone long."

As if the Inn had known what she was thinking, a plate full of scraps appeared on the bar. To anyone else the food would have appeared to be trash, but to Briar it was breakfast. It was all she'd ever eaten. She hopped away from Priscialla to sit a few feet away on the bar, almost inhaling the food as it quickly disappeared from the plate. At the sound of someone shouting someone else's name upstairs, Briar nearly jumped out of her skin. Her hairs stood on end and somehow she managed to leap almost as high as the ceiling before landing on the bar again with claws retracted and eyes darting from side to side.

Letting out a small breath upon hearing the words, Regan let his eyes fall to the ground. It felt like the wolf was evading him. "If you wanted food, couldn't the Inn have made it appear for you?" The vampire didn't questions how the wolf felt for him anymore, not after everything that had happened between them. Now Regan's fears had shifted to something else entirely. Simply thinking of this newest horror had his throat tightening. Maybe Loki was trying to avoid him, or even making an attempt to escape.

Turning away, Regan walked to the bed and flopped down with a sad sigh. It was because he was too jealous, and too insistent on spending time with the other man. Regan was certain that was it.

"But..I didn't want to wake you.." Loki spoke the words almost uselessly in answer to Regan's question. Frowning he watched the vampire turn away. Loki felt like an ass, he deserved to feel that way though. He licked his lips and followed the vampire into the bedroom. His voice was firm almost stern as he spoke. "Speak, pup. Tell me everything that's on your mind, tell me how you feel, why you feel that way. Everything. Do it now, before I decide I don't want to listen to you." He stood there in the doorway, arms crossed across his chest. It was so easy to hide his real mood when his ears were hidden beneath that fedora. Loki didn't like that expression on his vampire's face, and Loki was certain he wouldn't have liked the expression Regan would have worn on his face when he discovered Loki had left. Of course Loki wouldn't have seen that expression, but he could imagine it. He was sure the real expression was more heart wrenching than the one he imagined. His voice had gone soft, concerned and truly wanting to know as he asked again, more gently this time. "What's bothering you?"

Loki's commanding tone and ultimatum both had Regan fearing that his thoughts might come true. Grasping a blanket, the vampire covered himself and tried to hide from his thoughts. Though the red head knew he'd give in soon enough even if telling Loki how he felt was the last thing he wanted to do. Hearing the concern in the other's voice had Regan peeking out from his cloth shield and sitting up with a sigh.

"The way I act, always wanting you by my side and my jealousy... I find myself thinking that it's excessive and that perhaps it might push you away." Yesterday and all it's events had shown him that. He could remember every time he'd shown how jealous he was, and the way Loki had reacted. Especially that incident with Vex. It sent a shiver of fear trough the vampire, making him look away with a sorrowful expression.

When Briar finally realized nothing was coming to get her, she relaxed. The plate disappeared and she blinked down at the spot where it once sat, ears twitching slightly as she wondered where it had gone too. Those ears picked up on voices in another part of the Inn and she wondered if they had something to do with the shouting she'd heard a moment ago.

Briar hopped down from the bar top and landed with a light thud onto the floor. Curiously she made her way up the stairs, stopping on the last one to sneakily pop her head above the floor level and search for signs of life. She saw what looked like a person standing in a doorway and she hopped up the last step. Briar crouched against the wall and began sneaking her way towards the voices, wondering if she had gotten any part of this stalking thing down right yet.

Loki's eyes never left Regan. He watched the vampire closely, he wasn't sure what kind of answer he was expecting. Though when Regan explained himself, Loki laughed. "You're jealousy isn't something that'll drive me away. Nor is your possessiveness, though I think you ought to work on turning it down a bit. Wolves get jealous and we can be very possessive, we're just good at hiding it." All hints of Loki's laughter was gone from his face and eyes now though, the wolf turned very serious. "If I ever leave your side, it is not because of something you did, it would be because I think you would be better off without someone like me around." There was a tightening in his chest, but he ignored it. Regan was too good for Loki, he truly felt that he didn't deserve any mate. Especially not one that seemed to care so deeply for him.

Spine stiffening at the laughter, Regan sent a glare Loki's way. Grabbing a pillow he threw it at the wolf without a second thought. It was rather annoying to be laughed at for worrying like he had. As the laughter died down, the vampire leaped from the bed before he could think it trough to wrap his arms tightly around Loki. The mere mention of the wolf's departure made a sad, angry and heartbroken set of emotions glimmer within his eyes. To that if it ever happened would be added the hurt and betrayal which only flickered trough his mind briefly. "Don't even speak of that!" No matter what emotions he showed, the redhead was clearly upset.

Loki had let the pillow hit him, it was a soft pillow. Then Regan had come at him and wrapped those arms around him. Loki gave a soft little smile and kissed the vampire's cheek. "Alright. I'm sorry I said it." It seemed Loki wouldn't be leaving today. He knew it would hurt the vampire if he left, but Regan was strong, he would move on. Loki was sure the vampire could find someone better, Regan didn't need someone like Loki. The vampire deserved a better mate, and Loki was undeserving of any mate. He wriggled slightly in Regan's arms. "Let's get something to eat now. I'm hungry."

Briar popped her head around the corner sneakily as the pillow hit Loki and fell to the floor. She nearly flattened herself to the ground. Since when did those fluffy things start flying and hitting people!? When Regan advanced and wrapped his arms around Loki, Briar hid behind the door jam again. Had she been spotted? No! She was feeling really confident now. As she popped her head around the corner again she eyed that pillow. How dare it go around hitting people like that!

In the next moment, Briar was crouched with her butt in the air and without another moment to waste, she pounced on the pillow. Immediately she began to sink into the cushiony contents of the large object. Immediately she regretted her decision to pounce. She'd never been allowed a pillow, nor had she been allowed to touch a pillow unless she was merely straightening the beds of her family, so it was very unfamiliar, especially to be sinking into it. As the pillow engulfed her she began to gnaw on it as if to try and get the thing to release her.
