Veronica ignored the queen's request. "Well then who were them vampires that raided my tunnels and nearly kill my Dakota? Huh? Who were they?"she asked as 1 of her minions howled. She growled to sush her. "You need to learn to control your people. You never get run ins from us. Only that one time. And I wan't even in charge when that happened." Veronica ranted.

Ana chuckled lightly. But then after getting glared at by her mother she stopped. Then remembered how Dakota had looked when he had been mauled.

The Queen just looked at the girl before her.
"I understand your concern but I can only try to enforce the laws and there will be consequences when we find out who it is."
She saw the angry in Veronicas face.
"My dear Veronica, if it would help I could do you a favor or I could simply pay for the damage."
The woman shrugged not feeling any hint of sympathy.

"Not only do I demand you pay for the hospital bills for Dakota, but you will also let my clan do a search through your's for the culprits." Veronica said, crossing her arms across her chest. A few more of her minions howled and growled. Veronica rolled her eyes and barked at them. They hushed up.

The Queen looked in rage.
"Yoy will do no such thing! But I will pay for the hospital bills. Or if it helps you may have my daughter, that is the only way you can look through my land. One or the other."
She nodded looking to Ana.
Ana looked shocked, her mom would never say something like this I she were in her right mind. She looked to Veronica then to her mother. Ana knew what her mother was thinking. Instead of risking her loyal guards she was willing to risk the life of her very own biological daughter! This made Ana angry.
"I'll help anyway."
She stood up and walked over to Veronica. The Queen seemed quite happy about her daughters decision.

Veronica nodded, used to the queen's form of negotiation. Although this was the first time she'd ever offered them Anastasia. Veronica kept a straight face as Ana walked over to her and then said. "I declare the checking of all vampires in this clan to be TOMORROW. All who refuse will be prosecuted." then she grabbed Ana's hand and firmly yanked it as she dragged her to the door. "You'll be sleeping with the dogs tonight." Veronica giggled, saying her little joke under her breath but knowing Ana heard it through her thoughts most likely.

She smirked understanding the joke. But she wiped it off quickly knowing she was being watched.
"You disease riden mutt, get your hands off me!"

She commanded this lightly. Ana waited until they got outside away from the deb to speak up.
"That bitch!"
She sighed, checking her hand and seeing it was healed already with a small scar left behind.
"I mean seriously? Who gives up their daughter to die? Oh wait, I know that answer, the soul sucking woman I for some reason call my mom."

"She's not soul-suckin' just blood suckin'." one of the wolves said. Only one person laughed. "Well, she knows I wouldn't kill you 'cause that'd start a war. Maybe it wasn't so heartless." Veronica noted. "You'd better rest up as soon as we get to the colony, though. We gotta search this whole clan tomorrow." Veronica said as she turned into her wolf form. She began to run to the colony, guessing that Anastasia would follow her.

She hissed at the one who had made the joke.
"Do you want me to go blood sucking all over your body while you're sleeping?"
After the comment she listened to Veronica.
"She thought I would die because of those hostile idiots I'd like to call my brother and his friend."
She followed Veronica back to the colony, felling
Slightly sluggish when really she was matching the wolves speed if not faster.

"If you sucked blood out of my body at all, it'd be totally hot." One of the wolves said. The other wolves laughed. The wolves sped up and reached the tunnels before Anastasia. Veronica ran to her room and prepared for a sleepover.

Ana hissed at the ignorant wolf, then continued running. She finally reached the den, being slowed down by various branches. She smiled lightly at the guards as she walked in. She went over to Veronicas door and opened it.
"Where do you want me to sleep?"
She waited in the doorway for the answer to come.

"On the floor next to my bed." Veronica answered, throwing down her comforter to the ground along with one of her bed sheets. "I'll just sleep in wolf form. It's more comfortable anyways." Veronica said. She was always more comfortable in wolf form, but chose not to sleep in it so she didn't startle human visitors, who you'd think would be used to that type a thing by now but they were usually frazzled by a talking wolf.

"Uh, wouldnt that like freak out the humans?"
Ana walked over near the bed and began to setup the sheets.
"Alright, just saying but your so called wrriors, are pretty much ignorant."
She shrugged finally getting them setup. Ana sat down on them.

Veronica turned into a wolf. "Are you crititicizing me? Because I train all my warriors and minions. I think you're criticizing me! she said, beginning to growl.

Ana shook her head.
"No, not crititicizing just saying the blonde one isnt the brightest of the bunch."
Ana shrugged, knowing Veroonica would get angry.
"Now dont jump to conclusions. But you growling doesnt scare me at all. I mean, its just you getting angry."

"Fine. If you wanna be like that, you can sleep with Hanz tonight. HANZ!" Veronica said, the complete sentence a scary growl. Hanz arrived at the door right after she called him. "Yes, Miss Veronica-" "I want Ms. Anastasia to bunk with you tonight. Do you mind?" Veronica asked sweetly, wagging her tail. "Not at all, Veronica." Hanz said, waiting for Anastasia to follow him to his room.

"I swear to god he touches me, then he'll end up like Dakota except you won't find his body."
Ana got up and walked oer next to Hanz.
"I hope you hear that."
She said this through clenched teeth. Following Hanz down the hall she had a quesion.
"Uh, Hanz? How did you become a servant? And how did you become a wolf, like were you born into a family of wolves?"

"Oh." Hanz said, puzzled at these questions. "Well, I love Miss. Veronica. Very much. I love her enough that if she asked me to marry her right now." Hanz said dreamily. "But unfortunately, she is in love with Mr. Dakota. So, I cannot be with her romanticly. So, I pleaded to serve her to show her how much I love her. I figured, one day, after Dakota had moved on, and after they were over eachother, I could win her." he explained. "My mother is the one who gave me the idea. She lives over there, in room 3A. She's an actual wolf. She can talk, but she can't turn into a full-bodied human." Hanz finished implying that he had been born into a wolf family. He lingered at his door with his key. "I really do love Miss Veronica alot. Every time I see her, it just hurts me how she... she doesn't even ackknowledge me sometimes. Like I'm not even a person." Hanz said, letting a tear reach his eye. He wiped it away, and opened the door to his room.

"You're a very emotional person. But uh, I dont think that she or Dakota will move on. I mean i understand where your coming from, I really do. You might just have to be the one who has to move on dude."
Ana thought for a moment.
"I dont have to sleep, I can always explore the grounds. That way I wont have to burden you.."
She didnt really want to stay in the same room as the man who was fantasizing about a Queen who was obviously in love with another man. She coughed lightly.
"If you want to be alone, i understand."

Hanz nodded and walked out of his room, which he had had his foot in the door. "You can have the room. I actually usually check on Veronica before she goes to bed to see if she wants anything. And then I take a walk and usually fall asleep in one of the tunnels." he said, nonchalantly as he walked to Veronica's room.

Ana looked surprised.
"Um, okay. If you need me than i'll be on....your floor. I guess."
Ana walked in, shutting the door behind her. She didnt want to sleep in his bed, so she took off the sheets and layed them on the ground. Then she finally layed down on the cold floor and tried to sleep. But after about 20 minutes she got up and walked into the hallway. Wearing different clothes and having her hood up. Some what looking like an intruder. She snuck down the corridor, heading towards the guards, keeping the hood up that was shielding her face.

Hanz walked solemnly around the tunnel until he traveled the perimeter and was headed back towards Veronica's room. He walked to his room, planning on quietly going in and getting his flashlight. He walked in and the first thing he noticed was that no one was in the room. He could smell that. He wondered where Anastasia had gone. He didn't bother looking for her. He wandered to Miss Veronica's room to see if she'd gone there. He patted lightly on the door. "Miss Veroni-" "What, Hanz?" Veronica said, snatching the door open. "Miss. Anastasia is missing. I thought she might be in here with you." he said, always checking on people being his nature. "No, Hanz. Don't you remember? I kicked that bitch out for raggin' on my clan and calling me ignuhrayant." Veronica said, pronouncing every letter in the word 'ignorant'. Hanz nodded and left, without a word.

( I just laughed a little at that )

Ana continued walking down the hall, feeling like a predator. She smirked lightly, wanting to scare one of the guards. She didnt see anybody so she kept walking, not wanting to take her hood off. She finally made it near one of the guards post and shrugged. They probably knew who she was so they wouldnt attack. She walked sneakily past them, probably being spotted. Then, she patted one of the guards shoulders and hid quickly behind a box

Hanz slowly walked back to his room, trying not to think about how pretty Veronica was in her silk pajamas, and he saw one of the guards look around him, as if he sensed an intruder. "Carolyn!" he yelled as he ran toward the female guard. She turned swiftly and seemed relieved to see him. "Oh, hey Hanz." she said. "Are you alright? You're startled." he said matter-of-factly. "I think someone touched me, and then I remembered the break-in..." Carolyn said. "Yeah," Beverly, the other guard, added. "I think they're effin' with us." she said, her british accent automatically making Hanz laugh at her. He noticed that there was something in the shadows. He wandered toward it, thinking a guard had left a bag there.

Ana jumped back out and tappe another guard, smirking the way back to the box. She didnt know anywhere else ro hide so she just sat there and waited for there ignorant reactions. She looked around the corner and saw someone coming. She darted off down the hallway. Feeling mischeivious she ran down the hall quickly and decided to knock on some doors. She knocked on about two and continue running.

Hanz heard a sound like rabbits feet and barked, transforming into a wolf and followed the sound down Corridor hall. He heard the sound of knocking and once he was close enough he saw the intruder. It had on a hood. It was another vampire! He sped up as Terrin and Derrin walked out of their rooms in confusion. He ran past them, blowing their hair around and making wind pass through their shirts. He was almost close enough to the intruder to pounce on them! He ran faster, thinking about the praise Veronica would give him if he caught a culprit. That motivated him to run faster. He jumped, thinking he was close enough. He wasn't. He was panting in anticipation. He ran close and pounced again. The intruder ran faster than him, since he was tired. He ran as fast as he could. He was close enough to bite them! He pounced, and landed on their heels, causing them to fall onto the ground. He howled, a signal to all the wolves that there had been an invasion. They came out, one by one, and watched as Hanz pegged the person to the floor with his paws and waited for Veronica to come.
