Cali howled when she realized Abbey was dead. The werecat had been interesting.
The wolf turned sharply as a woman ran past. She was chasing the shadow wolf. Cali narrowed her eyes and with a growl, followed. She was going to get revenge for poor Abbey.

Chasing after the mysterious woman, Cali quickly caught up and kept pace, if not running a little faster, refusing to show any submission. Reaching the woods, Cali watched curiously as the woman performed a spell around the area.
With a noise like a sigh, Cali pushed back the beast, and changed back. Her fur dissolving, revealing her clothes as her human form emerged. "Who are you, what spell is this, and give me one reason I should trust that you aren't in league with that murdering wolf." Cali ticked her fingers, as she already used her heightened sense to track the wolf.

"I have no interest in what you believe wolf. This spell will not allow the wolf to leave. He killed the man i loved and his daughter ten years ago, William Barret and his daughter Abby. You will not interfere with my chances to see him dead. I have lived for this...." She said sharply, clearly unaware Abby had survived. Then again, everyone pretty much had assumed that Abela William had been murdered too. Her blood was found at the scene and she disappeared, what else would they believe? Still, the last sentence she said had a finality in it....as if this really was the sole reason she had survived.

As she grew quiet she didn't say a word to the wolf but simply entered the forest. She whispered another spell and placed her hand against her lips. A ball of wind and electricity formed around the hand she'd raised, though the electricity was a dark blue that blended into the darkness. She knew it wouldn't kill the wolf but it would stun him and toss him away if he came suddenly leaping from the tree tops. She dropped the hand, holding the spell by forming her hand into a fist as she began to try to track the wolf with her limited ability to sense energy.

Sensing the jump, Dante jumpped back from the large wolf. He slipped a hand to his side, pulling a card out from the hollister. The wood card looked back at him. It usually ment peace and growth in life, but in a park situation like this, the spirit within would be very useful. He closed his eyes, focusing his energy on the spirit within. He could feel a sort of heartbeat coming from the card, and a warm breeze blew through the park. A bright green light shines forth for a moment, blinding the area's inhabitants. Opening his eyes, Dante looked at the beautiful woman spirit that now floated before him. She looked shy, and slightly uncertain of her surroundings. Looking at him though, no communication was needed. Her sights turned on the large wolf that was the center of the dark energy in the area. "Wood lend me your power" Dante says, and the wood spirit rose into the air.

Another breeze blows through the trees, as she moves outstreatching her arms. Slowly the roots around them begin to move, the trees groan and lightly bend in her direction. With a slight yell, she pushes her hands forward. A flurry of hundreds of vines shoot out from the trees, they begin to wrap tightly around the wolf like rope, binding his arms and legs. They begin to snake their way up it's body, similar to how a mummy would be wrapped. The spirit determined not to stop, until all that could be seen was a mass of moving and tightening vines around where the wolf had been. Dante paused, wondering if this would work. It seemed to be going well so far, he just hoped he could keep the spirit active long enough to finish this quickly.

Barret Werewolf
The wolf was surprised enough that the wood caught him a moment. Still, the wolf was not a normal werewolf at all. It released the natural heat of it's body, but the heat soared far above any normal were and became fire. The spiritual fire would eat at vines and begin to streak back towards the trees. Destruction seemed the fire's only aim even as the wolf, now on fire itself, dropped to the ground. It roared and began to leap again, despite the fact it seemed in pain from its own fire. Suddenly, however, it was hit with a streaming ball off energy and momentarily nearly screamed in pain as the electricity hit it.

Quote:
Valencia Kaleo
Val didn't give the woman any chance to respond as she felt a rush of magical energy. She simply ran as fast as she could towards it. As she spotted the wolf she through her spell, a dark smile on her face. She would have her revenge before her death, nothing else mattered to her. She cared nothing for the wolf's pain.... if anything she seemed to enjoy it. Still as she saw the fire she frowned, it had been augmented by someone's magic. Would killing it truly satisfy her revenge or was there something else out there? She shook off the thought and ignored both the fire as well as the falling rain that would likely put out the fire...eventually. Instead she simply was already beginning a chant, a spell created solely for this.... to destroy the werewolf.

A spell of sunlight and silver and wind. She held one hand on her lips and the other hand towards the wolf. Even as the wolf began to charge her, driven wild by pain, she didn't seem to care. She was willing to die to kill it... She would finish the spell in time to kill it, that was all that mattered. If it still had time to put it's fist through her chest it wouldn't make a difference anyway... She was suppose to die anyway. Her freezing spell would only work on the cancer so long and only so much...

This was taking to long, and the fire spreading was only another problem. The woman running towards them looked like she was out for blood. The thought of revenge had always been against his teaching. There was only one thing to do. He hoped the spirit would cooperate. He lifted the wood card, calling the spirit back in another flash of light. Moments later, he slipped another out of the pack. The Erase card in his hand now. He clenched his jaw for a moment "no trouble now...." He focused once more, and within another flash of light, the playful spirit appeared. She laughed, looking around at the fire, holding her blanket like cloth close to her. "Get rid of the fire and that thing" he says, hoping she would hurry before someone noticed what was going on. The spirit looked at him, pouting a bit reluctantly at first.

Slowly she began to move, in a dancing like way over the trees catching on fire. She allowed her cloth to dance in the breeze as well, and move over the flames. As it did, they began to vanish, as if they had never been there in the first place. She laughed, having fun as she made the flames disappear. Pausing for a moment, to spin above a tree, she sat on a branch, crossing her legs. She watched the woman approaching the wolf, and then looked at Dante in a sort of 'why don't you let her do it' kind of way. He sighed, the Erase was always a handful, a mischievious spirit who was also so stubborn. "Please, just do it" he says looking back at her. She huffed, jumping down from the tree, and taking long bouncing strides over towards the wolf.

She began to dance around him, circle after circle. Her cloth rippling in the air behind her. Lifting it up, she brought it down over the wolf, making him disappear like she had done the flames. This time however, she gave a slight giggle, before twirling in place over and over. He didn't like this. He had often wondered where the things she made disappear went. Many simply vanished, others were transported to other places in the world, or in a sort of limbo land dimension. He hoped she wasn't playing games with this wolf thing, it seemed pretty dangerous, and that was one thing the world did not want running around in the worls. He sighs lightly, and closes his eyes, he really had a lot of work to do with this card.

Daedri and Jack walked for a while before Daedri smelled blood. The blood stank of something neither of them had ever smelled before. Daedri stopped and almost chocked on the scent, "By the First what is that?" she said as she covered her sensative nose. She looked around, looking for it's source and Sweets did the same.
"I don't know. But it looks like it's not good for you.." Jack replied as he held Daedri upright.
"I can't be here. I-I have to go." Daedri stepped away from the scent, "But you should go see what it is, Sweets. It's probably imortant to our life here. I just-" Daedri was cut off by her gag reflex as she held down what blood was still in her stomach and wanted to come up. Without another word, she stumbled off to a place with clearer air.

Daedri felt a little bad just leaving Jack there, but she was seroiusly sickened by whoever bled that blood. It was nothing she had ever smelled before. It was a weird mix of death and animal and it stank so much. Daedri found herself sick thinking about it, "Oh wow." She stopped to lean against a streetlight pole and to breath the fresh air, "That was so bad." she shook her head, trying to clear it. When she finally felt better she looked up to see where she was. It seemed like she had wandered into a more suburban area of the city. She was directially in front of one of the many houses. And also in front of the house was a cat. But it didn't smell like a cat. It smelled very much like something very different from a cat.
"And what might you be?" Deadri knelt down on the sidewalk and looked at the cat. She breathed deep of it's scent through her partially opened lips, "You smell far more powerful than you actually are.." Her brown eyes were filled with a curiousity that her teenage self would always retain.

Jack watched, slightly helpless as Daedri ran off. He himself was sickened by the strange smell, but not nearly as much as she was. He sighed and waited for a while. Why he waited, Jack wasn't so sure. Maybe he was hoping Dee would come back. He alwasy felt a little weird these days without her around. But she was right. He should go see what exactly caused such a smell and see if would be of any signifigance to their new life in the city.

The origin of the strange blood wasn't that far away. Jack stopped to see a young woman in an alley with a trash bag in her hands. Jacks was positively stunned by the state she was in: covered in blood -which was part of the stench- and her clothes were torn. The bag smelled and looked like it was filled with a body of some sort. When I chose this city I didn't think it woudl be this interesting.. Jack thought to himself. He stood quite plainly in the woman's view as his red eyes looke dove rthe situation multiple times and after a few moments thought, Jack finally decided what to say, "Need any help?" he spoke with his hand up to his nose, trying to be as polite as he could while covering his nose fromt he stench.

Kaonashi paused, as the girl came up to him. He didn't move, his tail swaying in the breeze behind him. For a moment he listened to her, then slowly stood giving a yawn. He moved his body, streatching out like any normal cat would do. With a meow, he hopped up onto the fence looking down at her once more. Who was she? Why was she interfering with his fun. He sighed inwardly, and drove his unclipped nails into the wood of the fence. He hated being interrupted, and he had more important things to look into. He glanced up at a window on the second floor, where inside the room, the boy he was curious about slept. He would have liked to be up there and investigating more, rather then down here with this woman.

She was clearly a vampire, no doubt about that. She sensed something off about him, but wasn't quite sure what at this point it seemed. He lowered his body, to lay down on top of the fence to look at her still with his violet eyes. He would play it safe for now, and have a little fun in the process. His eyes had a slightly playful gleam to them, as well as the shine from the moonlight. He ignored the rain as it came down, it didn't phase him as it would have other cats. So he got a bit wet, big deal, he would dry. It was more interesting and important to be here and to complete his plans for the night. He wasn't sure what those plans were fully yet, but either way he was not going home yet.

"Bring. It. Back" Val nearly shouted as she turned towards him and stopped the spell. Her hands curled into fists and the woman seemed ready to turn on him. No... she'd been so close! It had to die! She was running out of time! Her eyes were nearly filled with tears, though whether out of anger or sorrow even she couldn't tell. She had spent so long tracking the wolf and now it had just disappeared? It had to die... It had to die before she did.

Val shook with anger, her hands at her sides. For once she was not restrained, she was the pure force of emotion she had buried. She wanted to kill the feminine boy for a moment, but if she did it may mean that she could not get the wolf back. She didn't believe it was dead.... she could feel it wasn't dead. She suddenly whimpered however, and fell to her knees. She put her hand on her chest and gasped, shuddering. She hadn't had her bath tonight, so caught up with the wolf. The pain of the cancer hit her hard for a moment as she closed her eyes and focused on ice a moment.

"That depends, do you know of any free places to stay and a good place to clean up good sir? The pirate responded with a playful batting of her eye lashes at him. She continued to walk as she did so, however, not really expecting much help. Even in her time vampires had looked down on therians so she expected him to be looking for a fight more then anything. Still, she liked to play herself, so would play his game as long as he wanted to play nice.

The rose knew just how bad people out there were and believed they outweighed the good... after all she was out there! She smiled slightly at the thought, even if she knew she wasn't evil really. She had chosen piracy for her own reasons that had nothing to do with greed. Still as she walked she would jump suddenly as a car roared past and just stared at the ....thing. She could see people inside it, yet there were no horses, magic, or beasts of any kind moving it.

"What in the name of heaven..." She muttered to herself as she shook her head and realized the street had empty ones along side the sidewalk as well. Sure, she had noticed that the stone used to make the sidewalk was different but now that she was out of the ally it was obvious that the world had ....changed in the intervening years since she had died. How long had she been dead? What was that... thing? When had the world gotten so... noisy and loud. She hitched the bag on her shoulder slightly higher and began to walk again but momentarily looked uncertain.

Dante watched the woman for a moment. The Erase spirit paused as well, looking over at the woman who didn't seem pleased with her work. She put her hands on her hips, glaring at the other woman. She finally gave a 'humpf' look, turning away with her eyes closed and her arms crossed. She vanished, returning to her card. Dante sighed, that was no help at all. He slowly walked over to the woman, looking her over. "Whatever that..thing has done, facing it blinded by emotion, anger, hatred and want for revenge is only going to leave you vulnerable" he tilts his head, before stepping passed her. He felt a lot of negative spiritual energy around her, the spirits were not happy for some reason it seemed. He didn't have time to wait around and find out why. He had things of his own to do, a spirit was loose in this city, one of the reasons he had come here. Maybe more then one, who knew.

Then again, he couldn't just leave her there. Ugh, he was so confused and unsure. His hand slowly moving to his head. He really needed to sit down and think, but he had a feeling that was not going to happen any time soon. This woman seemed consumed in her own emotions at the moment, so sticking around was probrably not the best idea. He turned back however, looking at her for a moment. He slowly kneeled by her, looking at her. He moved his hand towards her, but hesitated. She would most likely reject him, she probrably hated him by this point. He sighed, and fell back, laying on the grass below him. His eyes close, letting the rain fall on him and clense his mind as he waited for her to yell at him some more, or attack. A slight part of him welcomed the thought, returning to the spirit relm he was so in tune with...

He kept that side of him to himself. He was a shaman in training, he was ment to be a signal of peace and hope. He was something good for many, especially his people. He himself though, had other feelings about himself and this whole buisiness. He wouldn't outwardly say it, but sometimes he wished that something would happen, to where he himself could die. It was a dark thought, and often considered the easy way. He shakes his head, these foolish thoughts were just that, foolish. He needed to focus on the positive, on the here and now. He had no choice, but to suck it up and move on as he had always done. Time was running out, and he had no leway to waste it.

"It doesn't matter..... My own body is already killing me from the inside. I have a months without my magic, maybe a six months with if I'm lucky. The only reason I'm still alive is to kill that thing... if it kills me at least it'll be quick." Val responded with a dark laugh. She coughed a moment from laughing, however, and blood spotted her hand. She made a face at the spots of blood but attempted to stand. For a moment she leaned back on the tree next to her, gasping for breath as she tried to keep herself from falling over. She closed her eyes, ignoring him a moment as she tried to steady herself.

"If you wish to leave, leave" She said bluntly, apparently having seen the distress on his face. She shuddered, chanting a moment. It would pull some power back into her spell so the cancerous cells would 'sleep' again until she could get to her bath. It would take a few minutes, however, and was difficult with how it was affecting her lungs. She didn't know it had invaded them yet... Oh well, the doctors had predicated it would so that didn't surprise her.

His eyes opened to look at the female leaning against the tree before him. Slowly he sat up, and looked into her eyes. "Even if I did leave, there is not really any place for me to go" he shrugged. This woman seemed very much stuck on herself. He stood, wiping off his pants, before turning away from her. If she wanted to live in the negative, or whatever she called what she was doing, it really wasn't his problem or responsibility to help ot change that. He began walking away, heading towards the entrance to the park again. He was hungry, his stomach growling slightly. He hadn't eaten in awhile, but he had no idea where good food places were around here. He had not herd of, or been to, many of them at all.

People outside his country were so strange and new to him. He needed to find someplace to stay though, he was basically on his own with all that was going on. No family, no friends, the monks said they would find him and check on him at times, but he hoped they wouldn't show up now. He couldn't afford being forced to go back home, before his journey had even barley begun. He wouldn't, he had to much to do and to live for outside of the little temple he was raised in. He missed home though, but that was normal in life. He missed his bed, and his friends back home. A sad look crossed over his eyes and his heart for a moment, he hoped things would work out soon.

Daedri watched the cat that wasn't a cat with curious eyes. It seemed either that it didn't understand her, or didn't want to. Daedri, having never known anything other than humans and vampires was very curiuos as to what exactly it was. As the cat looked up at the house, Daedri followed it's gaze. She couldn't see exactly what the cat was looking at, but she knew it was of some sort of importance to him, "And what, is in there that you want?" She asked the cat as it looked at her with it's very un-cat-like eyes. She smirked slightly, her playful side showing through her calm, "And what sort of claim do you have on it?" Daedri breathed in deep, focusing on the window that the cat had looked at. She could smell a young human boy. And did he smell oh so sweet. Daedri smiled at the cat before hopping over the fence, "If you are just a cat, you won't mind if I sneak a peek, would you?" and she began to walk over the small front lawn to the house. Daedri wasn't normally this curious or risky, but she was in a new city with a new life spread out before her. And she couldn't play her life safe for the rest of eternity. She would have to find proper balance between her calm and her monster.

"You can come with me back to my hotel room," Jack invited. Why not? He guessed that the blood was what smelled so bad. As for whatever dead thing was in the trashbag. And that was easily cleaned up and disposed of. The vampire assumed that the creature wouldn't smell as bad once she was properly bathed and dressed.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her surprise about the car. How she didn't know what a car was, he didn't quite know. But he was sure he would be able to find out, "I can explain once you're cleaned up. It might be a bit of a logn story." his words were slick even without his trying. He was trying to get her to come home with him. Even if he wasn't exactly planning on sleeping with her, he wasn't going to ignore the option.

All this tiem he had been following her. They were going int he direction of the hotel anyways. But he stopped her, quite gently before they could walk much futher, "But that body can't come. The scent, the look.. It wouldn't be welcome."

Chuck continued to follow the vampire and Charlotte, more concerned for her safety than the hunt. He knew Hud wouldn't have been happy if he would have been able to know that Chuck didn't look to protect his widow. He didn't want to make the first move, in fear that the vampire would go after Charlotte instead of him, and just watched and waited for her to make a wrong move before he would attack. He knew better than to think she didn't notice him, whether she did or didn't, and stayed on his guard in case she had. It was a skill he had learned the hard way, thinking of a near undeath experience he had with a rather flirty vampire one night that he had let his guard down. In some ways he felt that having Charlotte was better than a stranger, since it caused him to keep his guard up more than if it was a stranger in his exhausted and tired state.

"No Hotel? No family?" She muttered, more out of curiosity and surprise then anything. She took a few more deep breaths and began to walk forward. She kept her hand on each tree as she slowly walked. She had no family, no friends except the two dead barrets... there was no miracle waiting to heal her. She saw herself as merely...practical. To do one good thing and then die made more sense to her then dying in the hospital doing nothing. She shrugged to herself at the thought as she continued to try and stumble out of the bark towards her shop. She didn't know why she was bothering to speak at all...

Quote:
Abby
"I do intend to bury it first... A favor I owe. And inviting strangers to your room so easily? Someone likes to live dangerously" She responded in a teasing, light tone. She laughed, a rich and long sound. She had no problem with the situation really, though she did wonder. He didn't seem at all put off by her being a were of some kind...could he not smell it over the body? Then again perhaps he simply wanted to sleep with her. He would not be the first. She didn't have much to barter with other then her body so she may have to make such a choice sometime. Oh well...

Still, she thought over his mention of explanations. Perhaps he could tell her something about this strange world. Somehow she had been resurrected and the world had changed. She wondered what the ships were like? Did they not have sails like the carriages did not have horses? She found herself caught between wonderment and irritation. She would need an education and fast... She sighed at the thought. With a shrug she continued to walk, heading for the forest. Once they had walked past the hotels and reached there she would begin to dig with a large stone she broke into the general shape of a shovel.

"I am uncertain what happened but it seems.... much has changed. What year is it?" She finally asked, deciding to admit the truth as he already had noticed it. She would speak as she dug, a woman use to hard work. She had buried crew mates before, and others... She was use to doing things by herself when it came to the hard work, when not with her crew anyway. She imagined they were long dead by now...

Jasper let himself relax for a moment as he stood on the sidewalk outside of the bar. The rain was starting to subside so if he focused more he should be able to get a better idea of what was going on. The sound of more howls had his curiosity up, but so did the scent of several vampires. Sniffing the air once again he was able to get a better idea of the location of the vampires, werewolves and another being. He wasn’t sure what the being was, as he had never smelled anything like it before. The male’s jade eyes seemed to glow slightly in the light of the streetlamp. With a small smirk he headed off in the direction of one of the vampires and the scent of blood.

Rounding the street corner he could make out the figure of a woman carrying something and a male vampire walking towards him. In his mind he ran a few scenarios of how things could play out. After all there was no use in trying to hide to spy on the pair they both probably already knew he was near. He walked towards them at a normal pace, his nose wrinkling at the smell of either the woman or the thing she was carrying. His guess is that it was whatever was in the bag. Even though the werewolf hated vampires more than anything for now he would just follow the pair, but if needed he would not hesitate to attack the blood sucker.

Jack smiled a sly and charming smile, "This is where I say "Danger" is my middle name." he chuckled. Jack wondered on her particular scent as they walked past the hotel and into a forest Jack wasn't expecting to see in the city. The woman broke herself a stone for a shovel and began to dig a hole for the body. She was stronger than a human. He could both see and smell that. He was interested to who and what she was, which didn't happen all that often. She looked of this century and of this world. But she did not act like it. Her movements... they were not like the movements of the women of this time. They were much, much older. She seemed set on doing the labor herself. Proving that she could do it. Even though she wasn't human, she acted very much like one of them.

When she asked what year it was, Jack couldn't help but smile. He had been right about her not knowing, "The year is twenty-twelve." he said, moving to stand in front of her. He had smelled the creature approching them. It too was not human. It was male and acting overly normal. Obviously following. But Jack decided that he could play two games at once an dmade himself a sort of sheild so that what the woman was doing was generally hidden from sight. "What year do you remember?" Jack asked, turning his attetion towards the lady again, the smirk still on his face. He wondered what he could learn of this woman by her blood. The Elder had taught both he and Dee about how to tell certain things about a person from their blood. Maybe some of the answers to his questions were there.

As these thoughts passed through his mind he made the connectiont that the male that was spying on him and his female friend had the same sort of scent as the lady. But it was not the same. It was a sort of tinge of a scent on top of something else he couldn't quite put his finger on. This was one of the reasons he was so interested in the woman. Not only did it seem like she would very beautiful under all that blood and torn cloth, but he had never come across a creature such as she. And while he didn't prefence male over female, Jack didn't like the whole spying thing. That just screamed bad date.

"A man after m' own heart" She said with a laugh, putting her hand over her heart and giving him an over dramatic sigh. She then shook her head and simply continued her task. She would soon have the body buried, a stone with the name she found in his wallet placed at the head of it. She wiped the dirt off her hands a moment but then froze. She frowned at the ground as she stood, briefly forgetting about the one who was following them or the body she'd buried or anything else....

"Last I remember... it was 1529, but it seems little changes. I think we're being followed. You wouldn't happen to have a little friend you forgot to mention?" She said with a grin as she walked a little closer to the vampire. Having lived a life looking over her shoulder ever since she became the White Rose Pirate at the age of sixteen it was simply natural her mind would go to double cross. She held her hands behind her back, smiling at him warmly and almost coyly as if she was expecting he just wanted to talk her into a threesome.

In reality she was ready to shift and use her abilities to fight her way out. A vampire and a werewolf teaming up would not be too unusual to be believed... wolves were pack animals and often it infected their human consciousness with the same desire.. For her it was easy to be alone, for some werewolves they felt better dead then alone.

Jack raised an eyebrow, "Fifteen-twenty-nine, huh? Sounds like a blast." he smirked. When she brought up the "little friend" Jack chuckled, knowing exactly who she was refering to, "Oh no ma'am." he took a step closer to her, "I have absolutely no idea who that creature is." his choice of words hinted at his unknowing of the were-races. He wanted to get that across to her sooner rather than later, especially now. If the male interfered with Jack's getting into this interesting woman's mind, he was going to be one pissed vampire

"I do hope you didn't think I was trying to hunt you down in such an unorginized fashion." Jack said as he moved, again, closer to her. His hands were in his pockets and his stature very loose. His red eyes looked with great curiuosity at the woman whose name he was wondering if he wanted to know. His black hair hung like silk over his face and shoulders, "Because that would greatly hurt my feelings." the slickness in his voice seeped like honey, as it always did ever since he was turned. He pushed a little of the power he knew he had into his voice, simply trying to calm her down. He wasn't going to try and kill her. What reason did he have? Of course, she was the one with the answer to that question.

"It had some lovely moments," She said simply, a small smile crossing her lips as her mind turned briefly to memories. She had some things she truly loved that she doubted still existed. The feeling of the wind hitting sails as the sea air kicked up around you and the boards of your ship sang to life as if it was one living breathing thing instead of a mere boat...if so much time had passed, surely such a thing was considered old fashioned. Replaced by things like that loud, foul smelling beast of a thing that had raced by them earlier. Still, as he neared her she thought absently that somethings had not changed. Men seemed much the same, she thought, and the wistful feeling passed.

She felt the beast within her squirm at the feeling of his power, rejecting its control almost violently but she kept her warm smile. She had conquered her beast a long time ago, and he seemed far to much fun to play with. She let her eyes grow soft, lustrous, and sultry. The kind of expression that came only from wanting a man, the kind of expression she was sure he was use to his power earning him. She didn't move as he grew closer, and in fact seemed to lean closer herself. Those deceptively innocent blue eyes did not leave his as she spoke in a quiet, heated whisper.

"Oh, and here I had hoped perhaps you were 'hunting' me instead of being just the perfect gentleman" She whispered softly, raising her hand to stroke a finger down his cheek only to laugh and step back in a moment with a 'just teasing' look. She stepped around him a moment and glanced towards the town, how did they bath now? She was curious..... and needed one pretty badly. Along with clothes.... purpose she could borrow some of his. It wouldn't be the first time she cross dressed.

Jack saw in her eyes that his words had worked, but he could sense that she was holding something tremendous back. Now that he was so close to her he could really turly sense the power inside her. It felt so much like Dee's monster. Jack was even more interested in her now. And with the scent of the previous body burried and dulled, she smelled all the better. Jack was still sure she would need a bath before he woudl be able to place a baseline scent for her. Thoughts of what that might look like wheeled through Jacks head and he smiled. It had been so long sice he had this sort of freedom. The Elder had kept him and Dee very close to home. Jack hadn't played a fair game in such a long time. And this woman could play very, very well.

When she touched his face, Jack took the utmost pleasure in the feeling of another creature's warmth on his skin. More so that she put it there herself. Usually it was very much the other way around, "Really now?" he turned with her as she moved around him to look down the street, he was behind her now and he leaned down over her shoulder, "It would be very easy to make that happen. But I'm assuming that you're going to want to cleaned up, hmm?" his dark secrects bled into the honey of his voice and his more vampiric nature churned. He moved back and looked her up and down in the better light. Perfect for him to find a wonderfully fascinating creature with such a splendid body as well. And on his first night in the city too. Jack couldn't stop smiling. I can't wait to see what you taste like, precious thing. he thought to himself.

"Oh yes, I do so like being clean. I imagine my skin is much more pleasing to, but I would know little of such a thing" She responded with a shrug as she glanced over her shoulder and smirked at him. There was a promise of almost challenge in her eyes, as if promising a more difficult hunt then he might think. Amusement too was in it, however, so she may very well be teasing him. It seemed she enjoyed taunting him, perhaps enjoying the danger a little too. Then again it was easier for her.... her shape-shifting allowing her to heal faster then most therians, though not as fast as a vampire.

"Would you have a place to clean up in mind?" She asked, a little suggestion seeming to leak into her tone. Perhaps it was intentional, perhaps not, that mischief filled Cheshire cat smile of hers never told. No, her smile was the kind that promised more secrets then it gave answers. She was an actress and she loved her roles, almost as much as she loved seeing others react to them. It was all a game, always a game to her.

Jack was practically glowing with pleasure. All of his senses tingled and he had the urge to just wisk her off and have his way with her. But Jack knew that would be no fun. No fun at all. And seeing at how willingly she was playing along. Jack welcomingly accepted her challanging eyes with a dark gaze of his own. He was learning moment by moment how powerful she really was and he yerned to know what made her so powerful. Was she some other breed of vampire, or another creature entirely?

"I was thinking the hotel I mentioned earlier. I have quite an accommodating room." his right hand left his pocket to gesture in the direction that they had come in, the ring the Elder had given him catching the light of a nearby streetlamp, "We passed it on our way here." as he spoke Jack wondered if or when he should mention Daedri to his newfound interest. And how would he do so? What was Dee to him? Other than a very shiny toy? Jack turned over the various terms and phrases the Elder had used in the past and settled with "charge" as an appropriate tittle for Dee. He did look after her and take care of her. Then again, the same could be same as for what Jack was to her. Daedri had often times held Jack back from many of his violent urges and reminded him of the pleasures that came with patience.

"Then do please lead the way, my kind sir." She responded with a playful curtsy as she gazed into those red eyes with almost amusement. She would wait for him a moment before she continued back the way they came. She would walk besides him, neither in front of or behind, as was her nature to do. There were certain...situations she didn't mind playing submissive but you were either her equal or you squashed beneath her toe. She'd die rather then be the cattle her time tried to make her. Perhaps it had something to do with the curse she had received so young, the cat in her that could not be caged that had formed her to be so. She couldn't say.

She wasn't to concerned with it at the moment, He seemed to enjoy the game as much as she. No... she was more interested in what this hotel would be like. The buildings seemed so different, so tall... She'd visited london once, but even that was nothing compared to this. So many lights, so many strange things. She wanted to explore it all... but first she needed a place to land to figure out this strange world. A safe port... and as long as he offered that she didn't mind playing a few games. Yes, for now she'd tease and flirt just as he liked.

Jack smiled and bowed slightly, extending his arm for her to take if she so wish. He had noticed her pause and very quickly took up on the fact that she was very much into being equal. That would make for a very interesting partner in bed.. Jack's mind couldn't help but go there. There was also the fact that she probably wouldn't know what running water was and Jack would have to help her with the bath and... Jack stopped himself before he coudl get carried away. One step at a time. Be patient. Jack reminded himself, You'll get at least one of the things you're after by the end of the night. Just wait.

"This way, milady." He smiled a sly grin, his fangs glinting from behind his pale lips. His thoughts went back to the topic of Daedri and how he shoudl deal with explaining what she was to Jack. He wouldn't want Dee to come home from wherever she was and this fanscinaing woman be mad at said appearance and leave. No. That would be very disapointing. Jack figures he would have to tell the woman about Dee before they reached the hotel room, in case that Dee was home. But how much should he say? Jack had never been in this situation before. He had never had to explain was Dee was to him. The Elder had made him and Dee an item and no one else had the guts to ask back home. You'll figure something out. Jack thought to himself, And she seems the understanding type. And Dee would be totally fine giving you and the lady as much time and space that you needed. He smiled inwardly, deciding not to worry about it any more. He'd tell the woman and Daedri once they were in the hotel. By that time it would be pointless for her to leave and try to find someone else to offer what he had.

"Thank you, m'lord" she teased back easily as she took his offered arm. She didn't seem disturbed by his fangs, having smelled he was a vampire long ago. She simply smiled back, a glint of amusement touching her gaze. She couldn't help but wonder if he was that confident or just curious if she would notice. She did not for one moment believe he was that careless, no matter how he behaved. Then again, she doubted either one of them was unaware the other wasn't human, yet he had called the wolf 'that creature.

For a moment she wondered if he really was that clueless about therians. He didn't seem inclined to look down on therians that much to use the term, not with the way he looked at her. He was more then willing to sleep with a therian so didn't likely hold any hatred.... His tones, his actions, it seemed clear that he just didn't know. Perhaps she would have things she could teach him, in exchange for telling her more about this time and teaching her a few things. She imagined even the basic functions of life had changed ...... or rather how you dealt with them. Oh well, at least her pick pocketing skills would remain useful even if she doubted her sea piracy was as useful now as it had been then.
