He hadn't been sure about his welcome. Seeing Nate's reaction changed his mind. He smiled, and nodded. "Yes, please." He ignored the flies quite readily. They were armless, though annoying little things. Besides, they tended to buzz around Nate through no fault of his. Regan knew for a fact the other man had been dumped into a shower. He was the one who'd done it.
The flies seemed to buzz around when Nate was in a less then pleasant mood. Regan leaned his head against his hand and glanced from Nate and then back to Cade. The elder vampire looked just a tad ... off. It reminded him vaguely of something he'd seen before, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Cade had remained sitting there silently, only slumping back in his chair as Regan entered. That red glassy gaze moved from Nate, to the other vampire. Nate was offering him a drink, and he accepted. Cade said nothing, only watching Regan as he moved to sit.
He was certainly familiar, somehow. Even his scent... was, there something familiar about that, too? Cade would have remembered if he'd known Regan. Perhaps they had met briefly in another decade. That was a possibility. It became hard to remember all things as someone who'd lived since darned near the beginning of humanity.
His gaze flicked between Regan and Nate. Nate was certainly odd. But Cade didn't really think much of it. He'd meant plenty of strange beings in his lifetime. His eye lids drooped again and he leaned his head back against his chair. That euphoric feeling that he'd been holding at bay for conversational reasons, seeped in now. It made his entire body feel warm, his heart joyous. Even the corners of his mouth tipped up slightly. Finally, he was happy again.
Cade's mind drifted into some kind of dream state, though he wasn't sleeping. He'd forgotten the others were there entirely. Forgot about everything; Gwen, Katerina, even Bell. He was somewhere else in his mind. Another place, another time. Somewhere better, happier, less lonely.

Nate chuckled before he stood, placing the bottle down before standing and making his way toward the cupboard to grab the man his own glass. He fumbled around for a small while before finally procuring one, eyeing it before closing the cupboard door with a bump of his elbow.
He made his way back, placing the glass down and sitting himself. The bottle was grabbed and the liquid was poured, Nate's own glass topped off before he leaned back in his chair.
"So...how was dinner?" he asked, swirling the liquid in his glass before taking a sip. Absently he wondered why he bothered asking. He knew; some poor sod was dead now, drained and left to be found in the morning by authorities. It's how most vampires worked and he was sure Regan was no different.
Distantly he thought about his little cottage in the village, an uneasy feeling filtering into his gut. The smell was probably noticeable by now...

Regan watched Cade while Nate went to pick up a glass. The other vampire looked ... high, drunk. That just didn't usually happen to vampires, unless the blood they fed on was chock full of drugs, or alcohol. Even then, it was a hard thing to do. He shook his head and grabbed the glass with a smile and a nod for Nate.
He spluttered a bit when dinner was mentioned, and ended up laughing with a twinkle in his eyes. "I already had dinner, Nate. Remember?" Regan leaned back in his chair. "I prefer my meals willing, and alive. Well .. they might not always know about my snacking on them, but they do have their fill of fun while eat." He had ways of distracting them, and of hiding what he was from them. It worked out well for everyone.

Nate smiled when the other took his glass, continuing to drink lazily from his own. He jerked when the other sputtered, blinking before he relaxed again and laughed along with him. He rubbed at the scabbed over dots on his neck, the many points on his body throbbing all at once in unison. Willing indeed.
"I know. Just thought you got a second course while you were out and about," he hummed, taking another sip. He was so casual, so flippant of what he assumed was a loss of life. A part of him was appalled, disgusted with himself.
The rest of him didn't care, morbidly curious. Enchanted. More than a little drunk. How to feel it slip away in his own hands again...
The dark thing in him twisted in his gut again, a slight and pleased flutter under his skin.

Bell was silent as they made their way back to the castle. He wasn't going as fast as he could go, for Gwen's sake, though he would never admit to that. Still they were going rather fast by human standards, a bit slow by Bell's standards. It wasn't long though before the castle loomed ahead and Bell was slowing to a normal walk at the end of the driveway. He ran a hand through his hair, and slowed even more. Almost as if he dreaded entering the castle at the end of the long driveway.
His hands were shoved into his pockets again, and his lips were pressed in a thin line as he walked. There was nothing here for him, he would talk to Cade, if the ancient would actually talk to him and then make a final decision on if he would remain here or not.

Regan eyed Nate with a smile and shrugged. "I really didn't need to." He took a good swig of his drink, and eyed the other vampire. He was probably going to regret what he was going to do ... But Cade just seemed so unusually out of it for one of their kind.
The redhead slipped from his seat and put an arm around Cade's shoulders. "I wonder what has you so blissfully out of it." He looked up at Nate. "Any ideas?"
A sigh of relief escaped her lips when they neared the castle. Gwen glanced at Bell. She couldn't imagine the place without him. "Bell ... would you stay and teach me how to be ... a vampire?" Her eyes fell to the ground as they neared the castle doors. Cade had lumped her off on someone else, someone who'd gone and abandoned her.
She didn't know if she could trust him, despite the pull inside her that urged her to stick by his side. Maybe if Bell was around they could help each other. It had been one of her motivations, trying to befriend the purple haired man.

Bell rolled his eyes at Gwen. "Tch. Not my responsibility. It's your maker's responsibility and I'm not your maker, so you're stuck with Cade." He pulled the door open and stepped inside, both hands out of his pockets now and clenching at is sides for a moment. Bell inhaled deeply when he entered, and made a face, Red's scent still lingered in places, especially now. Especially after carrying his body through the castle. For a moment Bell shuddered and then he was stalking towards the kitchen.
Not because he knew Cade was in there, but just because he wanted to use the kitchen sink to splash some water on his face. It probably wouldn't help anything, but it might make it easier to clear his head, so he could organize everything he wanted to say to Cade and get it all out before the ancient killed him for being so disrespectful. Bell almost wanted to hit Cade in the face, but that was just asking for certain death. He pushed open the kitchen door and stopped.
Regan had an arm around Cade, and Cade just looked a bit off. "Cade, we need to talk. Right now." Bell's tone was hard, angry and he wasn't going to back down. Cade was a creature to be feared and respected, but Bell had nothing to lose, and so he had nothing to fear anymore. Not from Cade, not from anyone.

A presence sliding closer to him had Cade cracking his eyes open just as Regan slipped an arm around his shoulders. First Nate had interrupted his good mood, and now Regan was doing it. Just as Cade opened his mouth to remind Regan that it wasn't any of his business, Bell's scent hit his nose. He sat up more in his chair as Bell entered the dining room, and winced inwardly. The other was angry. As he should be.
Cade batted Regan's arm away, and stood. Normally, he might have batted the entire being away, at least giving him a warning glare as he left the room. But, in this state, batting Regan's arm away, and trying not to look too out of it as he moved towards the exit of the dining room was just about all he could manage. Cade was glad to see Bell, but it was too bad he couldn't have waited until later for a chit chat. Everyone wanted to ruin this good mood.
He moved passed Bell and out into the hall, closing the door as the other came out behind him to give them some privacy. If Bell wanted to go to a room, or outside, or anywhere else, Cade would follow. The ancient vampire still had his shirt off, and was barefoot. He was too aloof for comfort and his eyes were glazed over, seemingly permanently, not like when he was remembering another time, or hungry. His senses were dulled even, and he didn't seem to have cared how Bell was talking to him, like perhaps he deserved it, and Bell deserved to be able to express his anger.
~~~*~~~*~~~
In the basement, Katerina wiped an arm across her wet cheeks. It was hard to be upset for too long. A strange feeling kept creeping in, trying to lift her spirits somehow. She'd glanced around and found that her chain wasn't directly in the center of the room, and that she could reach the wall opposite of the bed. At least she could rest against it.
She stood, realizing immediately that it was a bad idea. Her head spun and the effects of whatever had happened to her increased ten fold. Her knees buckled and she caught herself on her hands at the floor. After a long moment of getting her head back in order, she crawled to lean against the wall with her back to it. Straight ahead of her was the bed. To her right was the wall with the barred door. She watched it, hopefully and anxiously. Her brother would be back here. He would help her.
Bell raised a brow when Cade simply batted Regan's arm away. That entire vampire should have been knocked away, then his brow furrowed as they stepped into the hallway. For a few moments all Bed did was stare at Cade, looking him up and down. Barefoot and shirtless. That was how Bell usually dressed around the castle. "What the hell is wrong with you?" That was how he'd start it, right there in the hallway and loud. His hands clenched and unclenched by his sides and he grit his teeth.
"You can't just shut me out like you've been doing. At least not without a good reason. Is it because you blame me? You do don't you? Then just kill me and get it over with, because I deserve that right? Since it's my fault Red is dead. All my fault, so blame me, kill me. Let me join him in hell or wherever monsters go!" Bell wanted to cry, his chest was tense with the effort of keeping the pain inside. He would not cry. Not right now.
"Clearly you're upset about all this too and whatever happened in your past. Damnit Cade, if you would just talk to me about this shit and let me talk to you we'd both feel better. That's what talking does. It doesn't change what happened, but it can help you deal with it better." Something wasn't right though, Cade looked almost like a vampire that had taken too much blood from an alcoholic or something.
"And your fledgling. You left her with someone that just up and abandoned her. I had to take responsibility for her before she did something to get herself killed. What the hell were you thinking? She's your fledgling, your responsibility and why the hell did you turn her in the first place? And what the hell is wrong with you right now?" Bell was growling. It wasn't everything he wanted to say, it wasn't even how he wanted to word half of it.
His shoulders slumped rather suddenly, but he fell silent, he just glared at Cade.
Cade's red eyes didn't meet Bell's. It was incredibly unlike the old vampire, standing there almost sheepishly, if one didn't know him better. He heard all of Bell's words, every last one of them. And he'd winced inwardly. Had he really so blatantly shut Bell out? Of course he had. It's what he'd intended to do after all. And Cade was really good at shutting people out.
He'd turned his head away at some comments, about killing Bell in particular. No one would know it, even Bell probably didn't, but the ancient vampire could probably never bring himself to kill his purple haired friend. Yes, he'd certainly grown soft in some ways. He only brought his attention back for a moment with a curious frown at the mention of Gwen. Gwen? Oh. He'd completely forgotten about 'his' fledgling.
Cade had really never intended on changing Gwen. Yet it had happened. Damn that Shiki for running off. Well, he'd better never show his face around here again. He'd rubbed Cade wrong from the very beginning. Yet, the ancient hadn't killed him. Soft. That woman had done this to him. Skewed everything.
It was at Bell's last question that Cade was brought from his thoughts again. He was silent for a long moment, before mumbling, "Was anything ever right with me to begin with?" He was looking at Bell finally, but strangely. The old vampire wasn't angry at Bell, and he didn't seem to be shutting the other out either. While he was avoiding the question, he also didn't do it on purpose. His normally monotone voice that lacked any hint of emotion, was laced with sadness.
He turned and began walking towards the indoor aviary. "I am sorry," he said, "Truly I am." He was talking to Bell, and her both. What had happened earlier, with Red, it had been Cade's fault, when it came right down to it. Just like it had been when he lost her. Everything was always his fault, in one way or another. But why shouldn't it be? His very existence, it wasn't fair. Not to him, or to anyone who had and ever would come to know him.
Bell had been glaring at Cade, glaring hard but everything seemed to just shatter in one moment. Something was definitely wrong with Cade. That monotone voice was not very monotone anymore, and then he was apologizing. Bell began to follow almost immediately. "Don't! Don't turn your back to me when I'm yelling at you, and don't walk away from me. We aren't done here!" Some of his anger had melted away though, only some of it.
He reached out to catch Cade's arm. "What is going on with you. Tell me. You can tell me anything Cade. We are friends, at least. I thought we were. If you don't want me here, if you don't want to be my friend then I'll leave. Just say the word, I'll go so fast and so far away." Bell did want to leave, but he wouldn't leave if Cade still wanted him around. Being in the castle without Red was hard though, his scent was everywhere, and strongest in Bell's room. The room they had shared for so long.
Bell's voice was softer now, quieter. Almost defeated. "Cade. I'm not strong enough to deal with this kind of pain on my own. I can't be alone, not while I'm feeling like this, if I'd been on my own tonight while hunting, I'd have done something stupid, something that would've gotten me killed. I can be here for you, but you have to be here for me or it just won't work."
He let go of Cade, frowning slightly. "But there is something very wrong with you and I want you to tell me what it is right now. What have you done to yourself?" Bell knew what it was like to feed on a drunken human, but Cade didn't seem drunk, he seemed almost high.
Regan staggered back, and glanced at himself. Well, that had gone rather better then he'd expected. He shrugged and smiled, as if intentionally trying to get a rise out of Cade was a normal thing to do. He tilted his head when the two men in the hallway started arguing.
"You know, this seems like a perfect time to go out and explore the castle." The redhead waited a few minutes before heading away from the kitchen ad wandering towards Cade's study. He could feel the elder vampire all over the place, and the door was unlocked. It was the perfect opportunity to snoop.
Carefully, he stepped inside, and eyed pieces of paper scattered across the desk. Some were old, worn. The lines etched across the yellowed surface, smudged with age. But the face on them, with echoes of his own, were ageless in that drawing... In all of them.
Sapphire eyes wide, Regan stumbled back into a chair with all the sketches laid out before him. What were drawing of his long dead aunt doing in this castle> Who had drawn them? Had Cade ... known her? He shook his head.
While Bell stepped inside, started yelling at Cade, she headed in a different direction. Now that she knew what human blood smelled like ... Maybe she could find Katerina and learn what the other woman had really intended, telling her brother about the castle. Where had Cade put her?
She took in a deep breath, and wandered the first floor. She noticed Regan disappearing into a room that smelled of Cade, but that wasn't where she wanted to go. In fact, she wanted to avoid all signs of her sire at the moment.
The petite woman's nose, once she caught a wiff of humanity, guided her towards the lower reaches of the castle. In fact ... the place was a dungeon, and there was Katerina, all chained up. "Do you even know what happened? What your brother and his friends did?" Gwen stuck to the shadows, stepping inside and wondering ... What would happen when the sun rose? Would the too long night be nothing more then a bad dream?
Elizabeth Ranch
A Vampire around the age of 800, but since she was turned as a child she appears to be only 8 years of age and sounds like she is too.
She of course uses this to her advantage as often as she can, but it turns out she lets some obvious adult things blurt out that makes it obvious she is not 8 years old.
She is assumed to be one of the most experienced with the powers of a vampire, though having been turned as a child she isn't as physically strong as most of the other vampires around, she makes up for it though the powers in general she has been able to give herself and learn. The powers she shows off the most are the blink ability, flight, Temporary Intangibility, Invisibility, and Hypnosis. She has more powers, but they aren't as mastered as the ones mentioned. Of course she still has a normal vampire's enhanced human senses and ability's so even in a physical fight with a normal human she could still overpower them, though it wouldn't be as easy as a normal grown vampire.
A child like appearance, but usually has really well made long hair that goes down to her shoulders, which to some would appear out of the ordinary for a child to do that herself. She usually likes wearing a nice dress as well. Freckles across her face and usually a peaceful smile. It can easily be assumed she isn't going to be a tall person. Ivory skin and dark green eyes.
Although she tries really hard to keep herself to appear as a child mentality she tends to end up making it obvious she isn't a child. She is someone that likes to explore though. If she finds something out of place, amazing, or odd she will go to see what it is. She is someone that will test herself on survival by walking into obvious traps this is the kind of person she is!
Though besides short term exploration she does explore the world and find odd things and learn new things about the world, the people, and even skills in general. Of course in the end all the exploring ended up bringing her here out of interest of what she has heard since she hasn't found too many places that were so open to admitting about legends being here. She wants to see if any of those rumors are true or not and maybe stick around a little to see if she finds anything of interest here.
(( Sorry if this was too much about the character! ))
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elizabeth doesn't bother with the town and instead walks to the place of interest which was obviously the castle in the area. After a short walk and a lot of ignoring of other things she makes it to the door and gets her child act ready as she just opens the doors and walks into the castle as if she were the one that owned it. She isn't sure what she will find, but she is ready to find anything at the moment. Maybe she will find some creatures or maybe there is more interesting things in this castle. She decided that the first place she wanted to try was lower areas and work her way up so she makes her way downstairs to find that there are people there. She kept calm and stayed quiet and out of the way to see what they were doing.
Cade had led Bell into the aviary. It was huge. Standing in the middle, one could forget they were indoors. It was somewhat like a zen garden, but with a healthy amount of flowing water and greenery. Beautiful birds of various colors, all generally small, flew up and away at Cade's entrance. They had never liked him. Few animals did.
He had remained silent, all the while Bell talked again, and for some time after. He wasn't trying to turn his back on Bell now, and he wasn't trying to shut the other out, those things just came naturally to Cade. But he didn't want to shut Bell out. He ignored Bell's question about what he'd done to himself. Not because he was avoiding it, but because it had hurt him, that Bell had considered leaving.
Would his purple haired friend really leave his castle? Would he really run far away from Cade? Is that what he wanted? "You want to leave me too," he stated. Who could blame Bell? After the way Cade wasn't there for him, wasn't a good friend, used him even for his own pleasure, so many times. "I don't want to hurt you Bell," he said, walking slowly over a small wooden bridge over a stream with koi swimming inside. They also scattered and hid.
"But I have. And I will." He stopped to lean lazily against the railing. His eyes were still droopy and his limbs were still light. "I built this for her," he mumbled, red eyes closing for too long before slowly opening again. He hadn't realized he'd said anything at all. "I need you, too," he said, finally opening up somewhat. But it couldn't be certain that he thought he was talking to Bell.
Suddenly he grabbed Bell, though it wasn't as sudden as it should have been. More slow, almost sluggishly but with a needy feel. He clung to the other, for the first time, seeming somehow vulnerable. "Please, don't leave me alone," he whispered into Bell's ear. It was clear that he was not in his right mind. He couldn't even tell in his own mind if he was making any sense any more. He wasn't sure what things he'd said out loud, and what things he'd meant to but had not.
~~~*~~~*~~~
Katerina hadn't been leaning against the wall for long, though it felt like hours, especially in this state. Her mind was a mess. She couldn't make sense of much and her thoughts jumped from fear and confusion to a detached euphoria. Her eyes drifted shut, just as she heard someone speak. Had they mentioned her brother?
"Who's there?" she questioned into the darkness beyond her cell. Her own voice surprised her. It was relaxed, as if she'd just woken up, though she hadn't. It was almost raspy, and certainly softer; not as loud and confident, as usual.

Katerina's voice sounded ... odd. Slowly, she stepped forward. Young, newly turned, vampire as she was, Gwen was still used to her humans sense. She hadn't let the shackles barring her supernatural senses drop entirely yet. She didn't notice the newcomer. Her attention was entirely on the woman laying on the floor, against the wall.
She pressed a hand to Katerina's forehead. "It's Gwen." She shook her head and glanced at the chain binding Katerina. Would she be able to break it? It would be going against Cade ... taking his prey ... Gwen growled. She didn't care! The man had turned her and then ignored her. Why should she worry about what he cared for?
"I'm getting you out of here, then we can talk about the fact that your brother and his hunter friends murdered Red, nearly killed Bell, and tried to kill me." She bent down, and wrapped her hands around the shackle on Katerina's ankle. She tugged and pulled at the metal, trying to open it enough to slide the other woman's ankle out. She couldn't, just couldn't do it!

"Gwen," Katerina confirmed as the girl stepped into the dimly lit cell. Her face lit up slightly. Could Gwen free Katerina? She was feeling her forehead, and Katerina wondered if she looked as strange as she felt. At Gwen's words, Katerina frowned deeply, and then she shook her head.
"No," she said, unbelieving. That Red was killed, and that the others had been attacked, was shocking, and absolutely horrible. But, that they suspected it Katerina's brother, was strange, and impossible. "My brother's like me," she said as Gwen pulled at the chain. "We don't hurt the supernatural," she said, sounding very sure. "Not unless we're attacked first." Obviously the girl didn't really know her brother at all. It was hard for Katerina to think straight.

Elizabeth smiled about the fact that violence may happen the sooner they get out of there. She leaned forward on the staircase she was still standing on keeping herself pushed against a wall to get a better listen about what they were talking about, though she has no idea what they were talking about these were all names unknown to her. She wasn't paying attention and ended up sliding off the wall and falling forward. She catches herself with one of her hands on the ground and throws herself back up with a sort of flip on her hand and lands with a sort of celebration.
She stood there a little shocked, as she just realized she did that a little too nearby. She looks over at them seeing if anyone noticed and if she can just slip back into hiding as she backs up a bit.

She leaned back against her heels and stared at the other woman. Gwen found her hand stinging a few seconds later. She stared at herself. Before even really thinking it though, she'd slapped Katerina. "It was him. He looked nearly exactly like you, and he talked about how you told him where the castle was! Red's ... he's dead because you told someone about the castle!" Gwen started crying... Really and truly crying, and at first she didn't even notice that the tears were red, iron tinged blood.
When she did, she tried stopping. She didn't want to go crazy. She didn't want to attack Katerina for hunger, for any reason. Misguided though she was, Katerina was a nice person. It wasn't her fault her brother had been a maniac.
A soft sound, not Katerina had likely heard in her state ... Or so Gwen thought. She whirled around and stared at the child. But not a normal child. Her eyes narrowed, and the tears stopped falling. Gwen crouched low instinctively. "Who are you and why are you here?" Her emotions were too raw for her to even consider acting like she would have, when she'd been human only hours earlier.

Bell grimaced slightly when they entered the aviary. It was a nice place, Red had liked it. Then again, Red had liked most things. There was a slight frown on Bell's lips, and shook his head slightly when Cade spoke. "I don't want to leave." His voice was low and it was half a lie, he wanted to leave because Red's presence lingered here. He wanted to leave because Cade had seemed like he didn't want Bell here, but now Cade was opening up or trying to. It was clear to Bell now that Cade wanted him around at least a little longer.
When Cade grabbed him, Bell blinked up at him, a little surprised at how the ancient was clinging to him. Bell lifted his own arms and wrapped them around Cade. "I won't leave, I just. I thought you didn't want me here anymore." Bell held to Cade tightly, he wanted to cry again, his chest was tense from the effort of holding it all back. Everything was so hard, but at least he knew Cade didn't hate him, didn't want him to leave. Still Cade was acting unusual, and Bell was very concerned. "I'll stay with you forever if you want me to, even if you hurt me, as long as you tell me you need me I'll still stay." Cade was his only friend, after Red, and Bell didn't make friends very easily so he would much prefer to keep the one he had left.
He pulled away from Cade, reaching up to cup the ancient's face for a moment. A gentle moment, then he grabbed Cade's jaw and brought his face down to stare deep into those eyes. "Now, tell me what you did to yourself." Because that was important. The well being of his friend was very important to Bell, he could set aside his own pain and problems for the well being of his friend. He would stare into those eyes, as if trying to figure out the problem himself, until Cade made him let go or told him the truth.

Elizabeth makes look as if she were scared and starts talking "I-I just found this really big place and the door was open so I went to see.. and.. and.. " She starts weeping. "I didn't mean to disturb anyone it just looked so brilliant!" She weeps a little louder. "Don't tell my mommy!" She then starts walking backwards to the stairs thinking they are just going to ignore her now that she is just some crying child.

In her current state, the slap had really, really hurt. So maybe Katerina could be thankful she wasn't feeling things the way she would sober. She also did note that Gwen was awfully strong for a human. She was holding the side of her face as it stung and burned. God, was everyone going to come down here and beat up on her?
Through her haze, she didn't seem to notice that Gwen was talking to someone else. She was busy, trying to form full thoughts, but about her brother. Yes, she'd told her brother. Rose had almost invited her to. Rose had even said that Katerina could invite her brother to stay here. Which is what Katerina had done. Had he really shown up with the intent to kill the supernatural here?
She was shaking her head, hand still on her burning cheek. A small drop of blood dripped from her hand. Her lip must have been bleeding. Gwen had done that. Another thing Katerina couldn't believe. What in the world was going on here? The sound of a child's voice brought Katerina back to the situation. "A child?" she questioned aloud. hat a horrible place for a child to be wandering through. Where were her parents?
Instinctively Katerina tried to stand, to go and help the girl find her way home safely. But her head spun and her chain was heavy. Right. She wasn't going anywhere.

Cade was incredibly content standing there holding and being held. The euphoria took over again and he swayed. Bell surely would have noticed that, though he wasn't thinking of those things. He blinked down at Bell with a lazy gaze, thinking he didn't want to other to leave, not ever, when he grabbed his jaw and forced him down to look Bell right in the eye.
He frowned, a strange frown. This, was not how situations with Cade usually went. Why was he allowing this? That wasn't even a thought that crossed his mind at the moment. He was trying to process Bell's question. "Katerina's blood," he said simply, but then he pulled away and straightened up to listen. There was something off in the castle. Someone new was here.
He brought himself back to the right now, to Bell. After a moment of silence, he cocked a half smile. "It would make you feel better, too, Bell. Take away your pains....", but he was frowning again, reaching out with his power. Their guest was another vampire, but his high wasn't allowing him to focus on any one thing long enough to look too into the female newcomer yet. Red gaze fell back to Bell.
Cade had been very vague, not explaining how Katerina's blood had 'taken away his pains'. But he had offered it to Bell anyway, unsure if the other would understand why, and not really caring. The euphoria settled in again and he hummed a content sigh. "It's wonderful, not hurting...", he said with a small smile.
((Hope this one made sense. I've got a lot going on over here and am uber distracted. ))

Gwen growled under her breath. "You're not a normal kid. I may be new at this, but even I can tell that." She tilted her head, and stood. Her eyes narrowed. "You remind me a bit of him. I think that means you're old, but not nearly as old as this place's owner." Another stranger? Now?
The fledgling wiped the red tears from her face. She glanced at Katerina, fought to ignore the enticing scent of her blood, before stepping forward. "Follow me, we'll go find Cade so he can deal with you." Green eyed Gwen looked over her shoulder. "I'll try and come back later, to get you out of there." And find out what in the world had been done to Katerina. She looked so out of it ...

Elizabeth's face had a bit of a look of disgust on it as she dropped the act. "Fine, but why are you taking me to see a vampire?" She asks as how this person is referring to "Cade" make it sound like he is also a vampire and she has some vague memory of a name like that.
She moves her focus over on the person in chains. "Also what is with her and why are you even coming back to her?" Looking confused on why this person would bother. Her Empathy wasn't as amazing as it had been in her younger days for sure, but she didn't really think about that. "You know what. Forget all of that and instead tell me who you are and what is going on here?" She asked purely out of curiosity.

Bell let Cade pull away, normally he wouldn't have been able to grab the other like that in the first place. Katerina's blood. Bell frowned, not quite understanding, but he wasn't stupid. Blood alone didn't do that to a vampire, something in the blood would. Though the mention of that human's name caused anger and pain to flare up violently within him and he growled softly. Drinking her blood, that would be glorious even if it didn't do to him what it had done to Cade, a revenge of sorts for taking Red from him.
He licked his lips, Cade must have done something to her to make her blood do this. It wasn't alcohol, Bell knew how alcohol laced blood affected vampires, so it must have been some kind of drug. "She's the reason Red is gone, we should be torturing her, not drinking her blood." But Bell wanted to feel better, he wanted the pain gone too. For a few moments he looked torn, but wasn't this still some revenge for the pain she had caused them. It was a tempting offer, even while he was staring at Cade, noticing those sluggish movements, and he assumed slightly dull senses. Was that worth feeling better?
If others came, they would be to open to attacks. Fighting would be hard. "Will it really take away the pain?" He couldn't keep the small bit of hope out of his voice as he stared up at Cade.
