She slowly blinked a couple times once he got close to her. She just stared back at him while her face turned a slight rose color. She bit down on her lip again out of nervous habit causing it to bleed more, though she didn't notice. She was too focused on just how close he was to her. It had been years since she had such close contact with anyone, even if all he was doing was just looking at her. She leaned back a little, adding an inch or two of distance between them. "...th...that's alright..." She paused for only a moment. "..I.I..Th..ink I can.. do... it.. Myse..lf"

Lifting his hand slowly to her face then to her lip he began to slowly wipe the blood from her soft lips.He never really noticed the burn in his finger now focused to much on the velvet skin he touched.

He pulled his hand away slowly and quickly licked the blood from his finger before it could drip anywere else and stain the nearest fabric.He kept his eyes locked on hers as the taste flowed into his mouth and get felt a strange reaction to the blood.He clenched his teeth and slowly into a deep breath.

His bow began to shake some and the jewels in it began to shimmer and throw red waves upon the wall.After a little time the bow stopped and the pain in his head subsided except for a numb tingle through out his body.

"Now that was a bit different then before....you must be pure blood in the whole of your blood line Milady..."

Yotsuba ran her finger across her lip as soon as he had removed his hand from her face. It still burned at the slightest touch, but she expected that. She didn't exactly have normal demon blood, after all. Once she finished focusing on her own cut she looked back at Drake, remembering an important fact about her blood. "...Are you okay?" She asked with a slight worry in her tone. "Does anything hurt? Ya' know... Inside?" She paused and shifted on the bed so that she was sitting on her knees. She glanced down at the floor for a mere second before looking back up at him. "My blood... It's acidic... Not exactly something you want to ingest..."

He gave a disarming smile and shook his head.

"No,that wouldn't have been the first time I have done that with something that could kill me.Have you ever tried an orcs cooking? Just the smell is enough to make some people pass out."

He gave a small chuckle as he laid out on the bed to look over to his bow and check on it.Seeing nothing wrong with it other then the gems still softly glowing.He scratched his head for a moment and tried to remember what the old woman had said about that when she had given it to him but his mind was still numb.

Giving up on the thought he sat back up and moved to her side again.Leaning forward a little bit he smiled softly and looked at her lip to see if it was still bleeding.He didn't notice any.

"I didn't mean to scare you by doing that but I haven't found anything poisons enough to kill me yet....tho i haven't really tried to kill my self just seems to be a extra rush in life but anyway back to are conversation....what were we talking about?"

Seeing as he was fine she let herself fall backwards and rest. She let out a small sigh of relief as she noticed she wouldn't have to save his life today. "Most people or things that come in contact with my blood are usually killed on the spot. Animals die so easily even if a drop falls on their skin from a cut of mine. The poor animals skin starts to burn and then they're nothing but muscle and innards. So they end up dead within minutes of all the skin crisping off." She took a deep breath and looked over at him. "Most humans, or humanistic creatures are dead within an hour or so. The acid in my blood, if ingested will start to burn away the esophagus and then work it's way down to the stomach, and disintegrate every organ in the body. Which leaves a nasty mess to have to clean up later." She lifted her hand to her face and rubbed her forehead again. The swelling had gone down substantially already and the redness was probably still visible. "So you can see why I'd be alarmed from what you did. Statistically speaking, you shouldn't be able to talk right now and you should be dying soon..."

"I guess that is a gift of my curse.I don't have to worry about it....well at least not for now i don't have to but that is another story for a long rainy day and some warm drink."

He smiled a little bit seeing her fall had not caused serious damage.He looked about his semi bland room and back to her and nodded to the thought in his head.

"I know you were using this room as a bunker but would you like to go for a walk?"

She continued to lay on his bed while he spoke. "A curse?" She couldn't help but be curious about that statement. But then again who wouldn't be curious about it. She didn't say anything more about it, knowing it would probably take some time to explain since he had the forethought to say it was a long story. She shifted a little on his bed and sat up again. The thought of a walk wasn't that appealing to her at the moment but it was something else to do other then lay on his bed. And considering the spell she had placed on the door had come to an end it was almost pointless to continue to try and hide in this room from the other guy. "Where do you want to go?"

((.lol. The story just kinda picked up again. Xp. My friend came back to Rp with me some more. We started it up again from where he and I left off. We're in his characters room right now. My character went in there to hide from Daki, and she put up a barrier that kept Daki out of the room. Since then the barrier has faded and my character and Drake (hirehorn) are contemplating going on a walk. Hope that helps some.))

"This is/was a monostary at one time or another so it must have a garden at one time?That would work for a simple walk would it not?(sorry just woke up lol)

She couldn't resist the urge to laugh at him. She held back as much as she could but a chuckle seeped out somehow. "It's been sometime since there was ever a garden here. Do you remember all the snow outside?" She shook her head a little at the thought of a garden. This whole church and the surrounding mountains were covered in blankets of crisp white snow and they'd been that way for nearly one hundred years. Nothing ever grows around this church and the only green that's still alive is near the hot spring.

She lifted herself up from his bed and adjusted her kimono top and then slipping her feet into her wooden sandals. "I do know of a place we can go, it isn't much but at least it's a little warmer there" She stated as she started to walk over to the bedroom door.

He nodded and smiled as he rolled backwards off the bed and grabbed his leather jacket.Throwing it over his right arm he quickly slid into his boots and made his way with her.

"I did not forget about the snow,but I may be able to bring life back into the garden if you wish it.Even in the mountains there is enough life away from a hot spring to grow something unless a cure has be fallen this place,though i am pretty sure that has happened seeing the kinds of creatures i had to fight with on my way up here."

He was looking at her the whole time he talked and followed her every movement through the halls.

She had stepped outside of his bedroom door and started walking down the halls. Her tail swayed from side to side behind her as she walked, it was so long that it dragged on the floor a little too. "Ya' know it's funny... I don't remember telling you about the hot spring" She stated with a sarcastic tone.

As she made it into the main hall of the church she walked by her throne only glancing back at it as she passed it. If other people had been in the main hall, she wouldn't have noticed them; She was too focused on where she was going to even care. Her wooden sandals made a very comforting clicking noise across the stone as she neared the two large entry doors. She wasted little time pushing them open, and with such ease. The cold winds burst past her face and carried a little snow into the church. Most people would probably have been frozen solid from the cold, but Yotsuba was different. The cold didn't phase her one bit. She stood out on the top of the steps to the church in the cold as if it was the middle of summer. Not a single hair stood up on her body, it was clear that she was used to this climate.

Havening remember what the cold had done to his body once already he had donned his same gear,in new fashion thanks to his hostess,and the cold never bothered him though he did feel a little uneasy with out any of his weapons.He stood next to her on the steeps and looked out among the land through squinted eyes,to see past the cold wind.

"Hmmm,reminds me of home....well one of them.As for the spring i literally stumbled across it myself.Also were i found that strange creature....i don't what to call it.I would dare say it was an elemental but that is what it seemed to me but anyway.How did you come to acquire such a place?"

She headed down the steps and into a foot of snow she paused and went back onto the first step and removed her sandals and carried them in her hand as she stepped back down into the cold snow. Her feet vanished within the foot of snow below. She continued to walk carefully towards the hot spring. She must have looked funny as she walked, pulling one foot completely out of the snow and then lowering it again in long strides. While she was maneuvering through the snow she spoke to him "I didn't really acquire this place, I just started living here and calling it home a few dozen years ago. I really needed a place to stay when I left hell, and this was the safest place to go..." She muttered as they neared closer to their destination.

"How is a holy place for a demon?I thought you would be forced out of here or at least smote by the god of humans,what ever the call him."

He stated as he walked out on top of the snow barely leaving foot prints in the snow as long as he continued to move.He walked along side her in a zig zag pattern almost from years of habit and training.

"But I guess if there were no monks or paladins here to cast you out or to pray then the holy sanctuary is no longer holy?"

"When I came here I had problems... I killed everyone who lived in the church's walls. I couldn't control myself and the fact that they were trying to keep me from entering, didn't help my temper." She stated as finally reached the spring. The snow had melted away and her feet were now standing upon bright green grass. The warmth of the spring kept the grass from dying out because of the cold everywhere else. She shook a little from a shiver that went down her spine once the warmth hit her face and forced the cold at bay. She stared at the water for a few moments. "This place will never be holy as long I live here, it is my sanctuary"

He gave a small chuckle at her comment as he kneeled down and placed his hands inside the warm water of the spring.In an instant his hands were warm and pink in color from the heat.The pain of the freezeing wind no long hurt his bones and he was able to breath once more.

He sat in the grass and ran his hands about the lush greens for a little time and plucked a few pieces to smell the fresh grass.He missed the smell but he knew he could not return home to his fields and mountains.The gods had lead him here.If to help or hurt this place he did not know but he would find out in time what should be done but for now he would enjoy this rest from war as long as he could.

"It is a sanctuary for those not of the light faith.Granted any one can enter and leave but those of the black heart would be more welcomed here then a holy man of the light.I walk the middle line between right and wrong.I have killed in the name of my gods and land but also for money and glory.I call this place home and haven for those that dare face the biting cold of this place and survive it."

He slid his boots off and his pants and slowly slid his legs into the water.His body shivered at the change of temperature and he watched the ripples meet the bubbles and disappear.The steam and warmth made him content and let his whole body relax but he knew better then to just jump into the spring.

She turned away when he started to undress a little and move closer to the water. She walked over to the only large tree near the spring and sat down next to it, resting her back against the large base of the tree; Her eyes still not focusing on him but on the shrubs and stuff lining the spring. "There is no God as far as I am concerned; Hell sucks a lot too, and their is no devil... At least no devil at the moment..." She muttered, the last statement she made almost too quietly for one to hear. She paused and thought for a moment or two before speaking once more about something he had said. "I've never killed for money.. nor glory and certainly not because someone asked or told me to. I've barely killed anyone, to tell the truth. I've only ever killed because I couldn't control myself....."

He removed his jacket and his shirt and slipped into the spring.He went to the bottom of the pool and laid there for a minute then came up on the other side of the spring next to her.

"Then it seems you are more innocent the most,or a reborn berserker."

He chuckled at the comment and floated back to his side of the spring.Hooking his toes into some small cracks he held him self in place as he let the warm water defrost his bones and release years of tension.

"Join me if you wish Milady.You have nothing to fear of me,the water is inviting and calming."

She shifted as she leaned against the tree. Sure the water was indeed inviting, but did she really want to climb into the water. She wasn't sure, not to mention the over exposure to someone she had only know for a short period of time. Her face had gone pink briefly just before she rushed the thought from her mind and continued on with something a little less tempting. "I wouldn't exactly say berserker.. Though that could be old day terminology for what happens to me..." She let out a heavy sigh as she thought about all the people who had died at her hands for no real reason.

He went under the water and came up on her side again.Resting his chin on his hands as they rested on the edge of the spring he looked at her for a moment in slient thought and tryed to smile to rasie her spirits.

"I'm not one for the lonely life,though I do travel but i have many many friends all over the world.Some enemies too but i think every one in the planes has at least one person that is against them.So let us not think of these sad things what makes you happy?"
