"Thanks.. er.. a .44 revolver," Terry replied going to the back room to find what he needed, listening hard for any indication to try and run for it.

Jesslynne watched Terry disappear in the back room rather uneasy now that she couldn't see him. Her fingers on her left hand twitched every few seconds to touch the hilt of the dagger, just in case though made no move to take it out. To what Charlie said she only shrugged.

"I'm only armed the same reason as you," Jesslynne told him with a kind smile before her eyes looked outside. "It's a dangerous world, and these blades have only been used on zombies, not innocents. By that I mean children... under the age of what the virus didn't take effect."

Her eyes returned to Charlie with another shrug. "If it makes you so uneasy, I'll take all of them off.. though it'd take a few moments."

"Having them out doesn't make me uneasy, having to pass them does." He replied "I've met a few children that would slit your throat given half the chance for nothing more than a drop of water." He pulled a face. "Go with him if you like." He offered.

Ebony smiled and rolled her eyes before shrugging one shoulder. The shoulder marked with a black, winged, upside down cross. Charlie couldn't help but smile and look away from her with a single nod.Her message was obvious to him.

"Back shelf. Beside the door, they're in red boxs." She called to the backroom "And are actually labled as shotgun shells on the shelf." She sighed and tossed her hair slowly again. "As I said, completly screwed up system back there. I wish I could have shot the owner."

Akirian walked over to Ebony standing by her side. She watched as Terry walked down to the storage. Then her attention turned back to Jesslynne. "Its horrible to do such things when people could share." Aki said commenting to Charlie about the water.

Terry followed the girl's instructions and found the boxes labled shotgun shells, opening it he found she was correct and shook his head. What was the point of labeling everything incorrectly but now annoying those trying to find what they need quickly? Grabbing the few that were there checking each carefully he stuffed them into the side pockets of his cargo pants. And appeared at the door once more with a smile towards the girl.

"Thanks, I'd never have thought to check those..." Terry said with a small polite bow. "I never properly introduced myself, I'm Terrance Blackwater."

Jesslynne was about to take Charlie's offer when Terry returned and her uneasiness wore off. He always seemed to get himself in trouble and she liked being there to protect him, being a room away was enough time for him to get in trouble even if the marksmen had claimed to spend there a night locking everything up.

"I'm Jesslynne Tatianna," Jesslynne said following Terry's courtesies looking towards the three in the room now.

"I agree that it's horrible though...." Jesslynne said looking at the girl and grabbing a bottle from her belt she shook it a bit and held it out to her, it contained water and since the girl was desperate to get food she presumed she was also thirsty. "I saved Terry from a similar fate and he's been with me since."

A nod from charlie and a "you're welcome" Answered Terrys thanks. However there was a slight pause before introductions were made on their behalf. Not from Ebony who seemed as though she'd rather shoot someone than reveal her name but from Charlie "Ebony and Charlie Winters." The reluctance in her face was audible in his voice. But why would revealing a name matter to anyone?

Ebony smiled "Human kind doesn't share little one." She spoke matter-of-factly "It is our nature to want everything for yourself and nothing for others. Even before the fall of civilization wars were faught for a little drop of oil. People were enslaved for a few spare hours or a little bit of free pleasure." She shrugged "I've seen children younger than you in chains because someone wanted to own them. This? It's nothing." She placed the colt .45 on the desk behind her "At least this violence can be justified. Times are dangerous and survival relies on you being able to hoard what you can before letting others" Her hand rested lightly on Akirians shoulder. "That is why we will teach you to fire that gun...with acuracy." Her eyes flashed over to Terry with a smile "Something I suggest you learn too. Your friend is a little amazonian in the making but eventually you will have to defend yourself as well and bullets are no longer being produced. You should be frugal with them." She finished.

Charlie smiled but it didn't meet his eyes which were cold. Ebonys smile faded and a single nod answered the hidden message behind them.

Terry looked at the ground with another blush, he didn't mind the stressful situations but he was easy to blush when a flaw of his were brought up. "It's not as if I don't try..." He muttered after Ebony finished speaking.

He wasn't one who enjoyed to fight or injur people but he knew these were the times you had to, especially the zombies.. Jesslynne took care of them as he tried to do his best at it.. He'd practice at nights as well but he never could quite hit a target more than once in a row.

Jesslynne nodded absently as Ebony spoke, knowing the truth of it herself. It was why she wanted to help those weaker than her in these times so they don't starve to death and die, she kept only the amount she needed and helped those she found in need when she came across them with the extra.

Terry was just one she liked to keep at her side because she kept running into them while he was in trouble.

"I preffer blades because I've been training with them since I was young, I can fire a gun fine.. just don't like the feel of them," Jesslynne said with a shrug to the amazonian comment. "Besides daggers might not move as fast thrown in the air but they're easily retrieved back and sharpened."

Ebony shrugged "You can only throw a knife once before you have to go into close combat." She countered "I have daggers but I reserve them for close combat." A smile returned to her lips as she lowered the 9mm back into her lap. Two clicks sounded that Charlies guns were no longer cocked although he did keep them aimed.

"Learning to mark is a hard thing to do. You should be thankful that you don't know how to do it yet. I'm guessing Miss Tatianna here has been through some rough times in her life to know how to use those blades and to be comfortable with using them on moving objects." Charlie mused noting Terrys blush "We've all been training since a young age you shouldn't feel embarressed because you haven't I know older more experianced men than you who couldn't hit a moving target."

Ebony laughed "You have to worry about military men." She replied then facing Terry she added "Can you mark with anything? A ball, a knife... something without a recoil?"

"Not necessarily," Jesslynne countered back with another shrug at Ebony's comment you can only throw them once. "It depends on range and just how much you have on your person. I have .." Jesslynne counted off on her fingers listing the places in her mind, "Thirteen on my person, in well placed spots that are easily reached without having to move anything. As well as the swords for close combat which I prefer when there's more than one enemy."

Another smile that truly reached her eyes twitched at Jesslynne's lips as the Winter siblings didn't let their gaurd down but grew a bit more at ease, not much but enough for her to notice the difference. If she were to attack they were still at the ready, though she didn't plan to do such a thing at all.

Terry smiled a bit also noticing this but also at the fact they seemed willing to give him pointers, something he'd been secretly hoping for... and yet he wasn't the type to play sports and disliked physical activity. In fact he skipped gym as much as possible to get out of embarassing himself. Shaking his head slightly the blush remained as he answered Ebony, "Not really... I more avoided any sports of the like... Never thought they'd end up useful."

"I wasn't commenting on how many you had. You can still only throw them once before retrieving unless like boomerangs they come back to you afterwards. One knife, one throw. Change knives. One gun, multiple hits. Reload. Plus bullets are smaller thus you can carry more thus creating more opportunities to hit before you need to go close combat." She shrugged Knives aren't as practical although they do have a faair few benefits, such as no need for ammo." Ebony replied casually. Then added to Terry "Hand eye co-ordination. I'd practice with a ball or something before wasting bullets. Not only is it quieter so you don't attract things to your location but it will save you amunition and still work on your mark. Once you have that work with a gun, you'll be able to mark so it'll just be a case of compensating for the recoil which is easy done once you can mark."

Charlie nodded "If you start with a gun you have no basic hand eye co-ordination to build from. So it's a lot harder." He was still a bit gruff with them but not aggressive towards them.

"True," Jesslynne said after some consideration and another shrug, "But I'm one who enjoys close combat so it doesn't really change things for me, being far away is too boring in my oppinion."

Terry nodded again realizing it really did make sense. He never enjoyed shooting either but there was a time for it when zombies are trying to kill and turn you into them. "Thanks, I'll do that then."

"If anything you can try to hit me with the ball or play catch with me," Jesslynne teased with a shrug. "Or you can just try to throw one of my daggers at me and actually have it go where you want it before I catch it before it injured me."

"That would make it worse Jess.." Terry said wide eyes staring at her now his focus on Ebony now diverted to Jesslynne.

Ebony shook her head "Personal preference is subjective to the facts. I was not talking about personal preference." She picked up her colt .45 and headed towards the back room. The soft click from her direction idicated that she had neutralised one gun before she slipped the colt .45 into the folds of her dress once more as she dissapeared through the door.

A moment later there was a screech as wood scraped along wood and a crash as several boxs fell to the floor followed by a metal sound as bullets rolled out of their homes. Charlie didn't move at the sound only concentrated a little harder, but when he heard neither bullets nor the sound of a fight he relaxed again. One of his guns returned to his waistband as he shouldered his pack again and moved slowly across the room to grab Ebonys pack with his free hand. His single gun still aimed.

Terry and Jesslynne looked towards the backroom wondering what Ebony was doing. Terry peeked in quite curious as his eyes followed the trail of rolling bullets on the ground. Ever knowing of the gun still pointed at his friend he found himself just as intrigued by these pair himself now that he began to understand them a bit.

"What are you doing?" He called into the back room hesitant to enter should anything fall on him.

Jesslynne had become bored and her fingers unhooked the door to let it close and she slid down to the ground shifting slightly so she was comfortable with the swords still strapped to her back. Her eyes returned to Charlie confident Ebony was neither in harms way or about to jump out shooting, to her best interpretation anyways.

Stretching her legs in front of her she crossed them lazily, the perfect image of a person comfortable in her surroundings. She would always be on guard but that was a way of life and was the way she relaxed now, but it didn't mean she couldn't get comfortable.

Charlie smiled at Akirian. "Would you take your things to Ebony?" He asked her before turning his gaze to Terry for a second and finally returning it to Jess.

In the back room the shelving unit containing bullets and blocking the back door had slid across the floor and no longer posed as a barrier. Ebony stood with her back and both free hands against the wall, apparently having kicked the unit out of the way. Her finger returned to the 9mm as she looked at Terry with a slight smile "I have someplace else to be." She told him quietly, her voice not even audible where charlie stood, let alone Jess. She pushed herself off of the back wall, turning and resting her back against the now free door. A loud thud sounded as her boot collided with the wood forcing it open. As the door opened she moved backwards, until it stopped leaving her able to watch both in the back room and outside without exposing her back to un known dangers outside or Terry.

She raised her knee, sending her skirts flying away and pulled out her second 9mm. One facing outside, one languidly watching Terry.

Terry shrugged and turned away from the back room his eyes falling on Jesslynne who only shrugged back with a lazy smile, she didn't much care anymore, she had been willing to allow them to leave from the beginning if they wished to go the harder way she didn't much care.

Instead she smiled at Charlie before standing back up again and opened the door and left without looking to see if it was clear. If she walked into danger she didn't much care but... other than the group of kids she could see in the distance she didn't hear anything out of the ordinary.

"Sorry about her..." Terry said when passing Charlie to follow her out, "She can a little opinionated and doesn't like showing any weakness such as obedience. She was willing to let you leave from the beginning though she just enjoys playing her games."

Terry left the shop before waiting for Charlie to reply and looked around to see Jesslynne was already leaning against the building across the street waiting for him.

"Interesting people," Jesslynne said when he was in hearing range her eyes hadn't left the weapon shop yet though.

"Yeah, if you'd been less sarcastic in playing your games they mightn't have actually fired..."

"They still would have.. it's who they are," Jesslynne replied looking at him now curiously. "Don't tell me you're interested in that girl."

"No.." Terry replied looking at Jesslynne strangely. "Just would have liked proper instruction on shooting guns."

"Whatev, who you like is your problem..."

Ebony slipped the second gun in her pocket as Charlie appeared in the backroom safely putting his weapons away "They left." He told her and she turned her back on him.

"Figures. They have to stand in the doorway till I move this thing." She replied slightly aggressively. "Oh well. I reckon we should go this way anyway."

Charlie smiled. "You are a lot stronger than you let on Ebony. Didn't I help you with that thing last time?" He tossed her her pack and sshe caught it without turning around. Slinging it over her shoulder "The guild would be proud."

Ebony looked over her shoulder at him "And father would be turning in his grave...if he had one." She replied "So, a training point eh? Any clues where we can train our young Padowan learner?"

"Sci-fi...of all the things to reference why must it always be sci-fi. That film didn't even make sense."

"Come on we should get moving out too now," Terry said ignoring Jess' comment altogether. She could think what she wants and if she was willing to throw out crush accusations he could too but he didn't bother to stoop to her level. He had wondered why she wanted to follow them in the first place but at least he got a couple pointers on how to learn how to shoot.

"Hmph," Jesslynne replied and walked towards the edge of town in the different direction than the kids. Her mind was still on the two siblings curious as to how they grew up to be so uneasy around others. Granted she was carrying weapons and it was now a real rough and tumble world, but as Charlie had said you had to be trained since a youngster to get to their skill and Jesslynne presumed that same uneasiness came with it. Same as her own but she decided to trust people until proven otherwise. She still didn't see a reason other than being trigger happy to be untrustworthy of them if they ran across each other again.

Ebony smiled "It did make sense!" She protested. "Come on let's find an empty house. The bottom should be easily blocked off and hopefully there will be somethings to use as targets." She suggested.

He nodded "Come on little one. It's time to move on. If a fight breaks out get behind either Ebony or myself. Dont try to join in yet. Ok?" He told Akirian.

Ebony paused and looked at Charlie, her eyes locking on his "You know, the guild wouldn't approve?" She asked him quietly. There was a pause and then a deffinate nod from Charlie and Ebony smiled and started down the back alley.

Jesslynne looked around for something to do, she got bored easily and didn't always like only walking to find a new shelter for the night. Looking up at the sky she realized more time passed than she had expected now that she was really paying attention she noticed it was almost full night.

"Jess we should find someplace to stay for the night," Terry said as if reading her mind. He knew she'd rather keep moving and not care if they couldn't see in the dark but he'd rather not put himself in that much danger if they ran into zombies.

"In a moment..." Jesslynne responded looking around with more anticipation, if it was night the zombies were more active... if someone was caught up with the zombies she would like to fight with them. That and the night didn't quite feel right.

As they progressed they heard the distinct sound of zombies groaning and a scuffle. Squinting her eyes she seen a man armed with merely a broom beating off a small amount of zombies, with such a wimpy weapon they wouldn't break off from him.

"Stay here and out of sight, call if they see you," Jesslynne said to terry running forwards and a dagger appeared in her hand and disappeared just as quickly into the neck of a zombie that had come up behind the man.

Terry quickly did as he told and slipped into the nearest back alley and climbed onto the fire escape that was there. The zombies didn't climb well and if there were any who seen him he'd be out of their grasp..

Richard, who'd been forcefully driving his boot into yet another slimy zombie face, cringed to the splitting crack of the undead's now unhinged jaw. 'Gross!' he shouted distastefully, pinning his chocolate brows together disapprovingly as he foolishly stood in place, contemplating the coat of slobber and miscellaneous fragmentations of zombie skin upon his precious shoes. 'I'll be needing a new pair of these,' he commented offhandedly, narrowly missing as ferocious lunge for his neck as he bent down to carefully examine the damage. He dared not touch it, especially now that a sickening lurch threatened to push his insides upward. 'Definitely.'

He shot back upward, tilting on an invisible axis based at his left shoulder, dodging yet another zombie, this time with a vagrant and irritable sigh. Not only was it hard to keep up with the ever-increasing masses, but, he was also getting bored. A deadly combination. By an off-chance, he stole a glance in both directions, catching the briefest sight a clearly female figure coming to his aid, a flashy glimmer warning him of her weapon of choice-- knives and daggers. 'Hate to impose,' he called across the way, beveling with a hefty groan as he rammed the handle of his broom into the outstretched mouths of double-team. Though he didn't really have the time, he actually thought about his statement, correcting himself idly, 'Actually, no I don't.' He placed his arms at opposing ends of his puny weapon, tilting it in a general circular, sweeping motion, catapulting the deadly duo into a sizable pack of their comrades. 'Point is,' he finally managed to say, able to catch his breath and wipe the sweat from his brow, 'Mind tossing one of those my way?'

((Sorry I didn't get to it last night.. had fallen out of inspiration by the time I got off work))

Jesslynne unsheathed a second dagger and the sword nearest her left hand bringing it out in a swift wide arch cutting a zombie in half at the waist and curving it up and back as it spun around in her hand so the sharp edge was the correct way she cut off another zombie's head.

"Better know how to catch," Jesslynne replied curtly tossing the dagger so the hilt would reach the man first when there was a small gap between them with no zombies.

Now that her other hand was free she drew the second sword holding with the sharp edge opposite to the other to make each side even. She stood waiting for a moment counting her opponents and delved in swiping a sword up between a zombie's legs cutting him through and spun to cut more down as she allowed them to circle around her giving herself the chance to take out more with one wide swing. Which she done now in both ways taking out the circle before jumping away and stood waiting for her next zombie victim.

Ebony nodded already moving to the left whilst Charlie took the right. Shoulders up against posts they dropped their packs. Before the material hit the floor the siblings were holding two 9mms each. The sound of them activating game a milisecond after the packs touched the concrete and the first four shots only a second later. They were good. Their display had been impressive, but then they had been missing. Now their bullets had a deadly role to play.

The front four zombies fell to the floor as the bullets mercilessly hit them between the eyes. The sick squishing noise they made on impact barely audible but still enough to churn someones stomach. Ebony smiled enjoying the thrill of the kill. They were not new to it, in fact from their stances and attitudes they had probably killed long before the virus even began its deadly rounds.

Charlie sighed. "We should have stayed in the store." He mused as his shooting slowed down allowing Ebony to take down the zombies en mass whilst he only picked at them. "We're not equipped for this type of combat."

A click announced that Ebony had run out of bullets. She flung the pack open filling her weapons with startling speed as Charlie took over with shooting en mass. She stood up again and cocked the weapons. "We couldn't stay there and well you know it." She retorted. Her light green gaze swept the street. "We'll go up." She added firmly walking backwards towards a fire escape, kicking the bag along with her.

Charlie nodded. "You got first. Then the kid." Ebony didn't bother to reply. Only dragged the ladder down and climbed up.

Akirian quickly replaced the gun in her shirt. Shifting her pack she followed Ebony up the ladder. She knew to hurry, this situation called for haste. Just like when her mother had been sick from the virus. She had rushed to the doctor only to find him in the same condition. Akirian snapped out of her daze and continued to climb.
