Ari checked her watch again and muttered darkly to herself. It wasn't like Dani to not call or show up at work for days at a time. Last she had heard a group of her and the girls were going trick or treating. "Now which one of those streets was it? Something about a big mansion, I think." Ari murmered to herself as she retraced what she figured to be her friend's route some days previous. "If only this blasted rain would stop!"

Seeing the only large mansion on the street, Ari struggled through the mud in the yard with the intention of knocking on the door and trying to find where else the might have gotten to. Well, at least that was the plan. Ari didn't have much time to register her ankles sinking into the lawn before her entire body soon followed. The rain had made the cgrass a suficient sandtrap of dirt and earthworms.

Cursing loudly, Ari blindly felt her way forward in what she could only assume to be a dark tunnle leading to or from the house. Too busy with her hands out to her sides to feel and keep track of walls, Ari nearly broke her nose on the door before realizing it was even in existance. Finding the door unlocked, Ari soon found herself in an old cellar. With barley enough light, and still coughing up dirt, she quickly made her way up the only flight of stairs, through the door, and almost nearly into the back of Dani. Well... It would be nearly into Dani if she hadn't been standing so far away and obviously occupied .

Through her coughing, she still managed a well to do, "What in the nine gates of hell is going on here?!"

Dani spun around extremely fast on the heels of her feet and she let out a large puff of air as she saw Ari standing behind her. She closed her eyes tightly and opened them, hoping that it was just a trick of the light...or lack of light that existed in the mansion. To her dismay it was not. Dani moved quickly, probably faster than she should have and grabbed Ari by the arm, yanking her away from the sight of Vance and Takeo praying that they would find their conversation more interesting than the fresh blood that just stepped into their house "You have to leave now," Dani hissed under her breath, quietly while she still had a hold of the girl's arm trying to move her somewhere more private before revealing that Dani even knew her.

Vance froze and directed his gaze toward the living room! "Please tell me that was one of the other girls!" he said to Takeo frowning. "I swear I am going to get the locks on this place checked!" he noticed the intrusive girl standing soaking wet and covered in mud dripping on the living room floor, "So should we just pretend we don't notice her and continue with what we where doing?" He asked hopefully starring up at Takeo with a sideways glance.

Simultaneously trying to dig her heels into the carpet, and wipe the mud from her face, Ari sighed exasperatedly when she realized she was just making her muddy complexion worse. "If I have to leave, you sure as hell are coming with me. I didn't get soaked, worry myself half to death and fall through a mud pit to walk away. Which... Where exactly is it are we? And why are you here?" Ari shifted her gaze around her as she was still attached to Dani, "And who were those people?" Ari gave Dani a quizzical gaze realizing, not for the first time, that she was clueless in the turn of events.

Dani shushed Ari and hope that Vance's ears were more tuned in with Takeo and his conversation than the one Dani and Ari were sharing. She shoved her gently into a room and closed the door behind them, scanning the darkness quickly to make sure no one was hiding in the shadows and she spoke quietly "Who they are doesn't matter, where we are doesn't matter. You have to leave now, and I cannot come with you. You see that I'm safe now just leave!" She really didn't want to miss the rest of the conversation between Takeo and Vance and she also did not want Ari here in this mess. Especially not with all the anger flying through the air. She turned to leave and said "I'd suggest going out the way you came in," but stopped at the door. Normally she and Ari were close but this was not something Dani wanted her tangled in and she hoped by being distant and cold Ari would just get pissed off enough to leave.

Ari stood still and crossed her arms over her chest, noticeing with mild irritation that mud had managed it's way down her shirt."Dani... You seriously know me better then that. And besides, there's a few problems with what you've suggested." Shifting her weight, both concerned and accutley annoyed, she continued. "There is NO way I'm making it out the way I got in. There'd be like... two ways of drowning myself just trying. And you can't honestly belive that I actually think you safe in a weird house with boys after no contact for days. Come'n Dani, what is going on here?" Ari knew her friend was stubborn, but she wasn't in the mood to argue. She wanted out of the house, sure, but never with out her friend in tow.

Dani sighed and turned around, she had a minor flashback at the time she tried to get the other girls to leave by telling them she was with Takeo and shook her head. Ari wouldn't fall for it either. She bit down on her lip "I really don't want you a part of this," she said as she stared down at the floor, only now noticing her friend was covered in mud. Moving easily around the room despite the darkness Dani threw what appeared to be a sheet over to the girl and said "You can use that to clean up slightly," as she again had to pull up one of the straps "Are you sure you won't just leave?" She asked as she moved back to the door, hand resting on the handle trying to tune her ears into the other conversation as well as this one.

Almost at lost in the dark room, and buffeted by the sheet, Ari begun to vigerously wipe herself down as best she could. "You should know better then to ask that. Out with it Ms. Spunk. What is it that has you so worried you would toss me out so fast?" At a loss with what to do with sheet, Ari twisted and figited with it between her hands. "There's not much I wouldn't stick though you with," Ari started slowly, a small smile finding its way to her lips, "unless it involoved some clown." Tossing the sheet in what she was guessing to be Dani's general direction, she finished, "M'kay?"

Dani caught the sheet with ease and was surprised by her own reaction. She threw it onto the floor and ran her fingers through her hair "What comes to mind when I say the word vampires?" she asked, still trying to get a hint of the conversation from the other room. She pulled up the strap of the dress again and pulled down the skirt, wondering if her friend would just laugh.

"Well, I guess I'd first have to ask if you've managed to eat some bad candy corn..." Ari shifted her weight again as she tried to think about it, while brushing a little bit of the now drying mud off of herself. "Are you being serious Dani? Or have you been watching too many horror movies?" Ari didn't want to shrug her friend off without the benifit of a doubt. There was obviously something going on, and for the time being, she was willing to keep an open mind about it.

There was no denying the pained look that crossed Takeo's face as he could almost smell the new blood in the new girl, untainted by the likes of Vance. He quickly shook his head, attempting to hide the feeling that had crossed over him as he realized just how hungry he really was now.

Either way, her entrance had successfuly distracted Vance from the questions and statements he had thrown out at him earlier. "Ive never seen her before." He said, quickly using the other vampires distractions to throw a couple of punches towards him as if in answer to his question. There definietly wasnt as much force behind his fists anymore though and Takeo really had to find a way to just end this. "


"You know, I can make it to where you feel much better." Abdel said, allowing her to move his fingers. With that said, he walked around her and half pushed the girl against the door as his fangs came out. "Come on, Maybe this way you and Dani can make up while talking about how much fun it is to be someones captive." He muttured, leaning in dangerously close to the girl. "And then you can never escape me." He added, warapping an arm around the girls waist and leering down at her.

Dani ears could only catch mumblings from the next room and she groaned and turned to face Ari "I'm entirely seriously," she said and tried to explain quickly "Right now is not the best time for a human to be in this house," she hurried along, trying to avoid telling her friend she had been changed "They've been losing a lot of blood out there," she said attempting to point towards the group out in the kitchen "And they will need to feed," she said "And trust me this is the last thing I would wish on anyone. Please leave," she finished and opened the door to leave again, tuning her ears in to Takeo and Vance again.

"Human? No 's' on that?" Starting to slowly understand why Dani was so hesititant to leave, Ari absent mindedly brushed her hands against two of the five knifes she was carrying. "Dani... I'm not sure what you've gotten into, but I'm not leaving with out you. Who the hell else could put up with my bad attituded and lame jokes?" She was trying to lighten the mood and figure out just what it is they needed to do to get both her and Dani out of her. Her friend did seem honestly worried. "Besides, what harm can they do to an ex-carni?" she finished with a crooked grin.

Vance looked sideways at Takeo, "What the hell was that ever suppose to hurt? What is up with you I am trying to be serious here!" Then he got a huge smile, "I got an Idea! If you wont take up my offer because you don't like the hold I have on the girls, then how 'bout this! I will leave the new one for you and keep the two I have so 'tainted' as you say!" He laughed and his eyes changed to those less human, "Deny this offer and they will all be mine!" He moved toward the living room, "Hurry and answer! Best not to keep a guest waiting!"

"Vance! Don't!" Allia said in a panic, bounding over to the hole in the wall to block his way. "Please leave her be. She's important to someone, so please don't," she pleaded, looking up at him. "Can't you let one go, please? You don't even need to feed or anything, so please let her go."

takeo took a few long strides, knocking Allia back and shoving Vance back into the kitchen angrily. "You wont bite another person in this house." He hissed, crossing his arms and string at Vance, realizing he wasnt giving Takeo much of a choice. Takeo could not kill him in this state and he would more then likely bite the girl at first opportunity. "Tend to your bastard of a master." He muttured as he turned and walked past Allia towards the room Dani and the new girl had gone in. "Dani!" He called, hitting the door with slightly more force then necessary before opening it and walking in. "Are you just inviting them all to come or something?" He asked angrily as he shut the door behind him and locked it so vance could not get in.

((Oh my the things that seem to happen when I take a little time away. I do love how Skylar has been left to wander about with rampaging vampires on the loose. Just because she didn't notice before doesn't mean she never will. It's just a matter of time. My bets are on Lycan spilling the beans. :twisted:

Vance laughed wickedly and called after Takeo, "Thats fine but remember by making that choose both of the others are mine!" he smiled as the door to the other room closed, "He is so easy!" he laughed as he turned to look at Allia. His smile then faded, "Oh and I do not believe I asked for your impute!" he moved over to her and grabbed her face, "Never tell me what i should and should not do! is this clear?" he said forcefully into her face. He then frowned, "Why does all my fun get ruined by girls interrupting?" he let her loose and held her waist, "Do the what ever you want to call them truly hate me that much?"

Allia rubbed at her face a little and cocked her head to the side. "The who? And it isn't all fun and games for me; I keep getting thrown around every time I try and help someone," she finished, pouting slightly.

Dani turned and stepped quickly in front of Takeo, she didn't even have time to react to Ari before he stormed in. She only positioned herself like that just in case he was desperate for blood "She was just leaving," she said, hoping so "And I can't go with you Ari" she said with her back to her, studying Takeo. Without realizing it she had moved closer to him and was going to reach out towards his face but wasn't sure exactly how mad he was "I don't know what to do, I don't even know a lot about what I am," she still didn't fully admit to have being turned. Though she was talking to Ari most of Dani's attention was on Takeo as she reached forward again hoping he wasn't so mad he'd bite her hand.

Vance smiled at her, "You know the higher ups, the gods, what ever you want to call them, They must really hate me!" he then laughed at her, "Never mind! By the way I don't think it is ever fun and games for the toys." At that he raised his eyebrows and smiled at her.

Huffing slightly, Ari answered her in an annoyed tone, "I am not going anywhere without you. And who the hell is that?" Though she couldn't see in the dark well, she still knew enough when another person entered the room. "And I really don't care what you are. Who you are is what counts." Giving Takeo a weird look, Ari repiled with the true, though lame answer of, "Invited? Nope, just dropped in."

"And go where?" Dani asked, still studying Takeo her hand still hesitating to actually touch him "So far I found out I can't go into sunlight, if I don't feed on human blood I'll go insane and I don't know what else," Dani dropped her hand again and looked over her shoulder although she doubted Ari would notice and then back to Takeo "She's leaving," she insisted to him, though she knew it would take a lot more persuasion than just that.
