Mateus kept running, "So are you ever going to answer me?" He then stopped, "There is no one behind me is there? Yeah the lack of foot steps told me so. I so missed the turn!"
He made a turn in to the woods beside him and ran for the house.

Tera stood waiting inside the doorway of the small shack that the two wolves stayed in for what seemed like forever. It wasn't much but it was something dry and blocked the majority of the winds. It wouldn't be long before Mateus realized her absence. As the thought crossed her mind she heard the mumbling from the path outside. She began tapping her foot as she waited a moment longer. "One,... Two,....Three,... Four,..."

((Damn you Lycan stay out of here this is Mateus' realm!))

Mateus knew that she would be waiting at the door with that look on her face saying 'did you get lost?' or something to that effect. Well not this time sweety he thought to him self. He flung the door open and stated, "Hunny I'm back from work, And boy was it a long day! Hope you made a good super I'm starving!" He flung himself down in an old broken chair and it cried out in protest and sent a cloud of dust flying into the air. "And do you think for once when I am at working slaving to keep this place up and running that you could at least clean up a little!" He threw his feet up in the air, "My feet hurt, be a dear and rub them for me!" He looked at her and smiled.

There that should shut her up or at least distract her from the fact that she once again tricked me into missing the turn off. He thought with a smug smile and feet still hanging in the air.

Tera stood there staring at him as he went through his little act. Her usual comment of his nonexistant scense of direction competely forgotten and indignant rage took it's place. "I hope you're not one bit serious seeing as I would hate to have to kick your furry little behind to kingdom come for comments like that," she said she she stalked toward him.

When she came into range she placed one foot on the edge of the chair seat in a place that would scare most men. "And if you think I'll even touch those disgusting little paws you've got another thing coming." With that said she placed a little force with her foot and sent the chair falling backwards. It wouldn't survive the fall but it wasn't like it would have survived much longer at all anyway.

Mateus feel back wards with the chair and it splintered and cracked into many pieces. "Ouch!" He cried and then crawled up into a half kneeling, Half sitting position with his hands in front of him, and gave her puppy dog eyes, which works oh so well on a lycan. "why did you have to go and do that? You know I wouldn't say those things and mean them, I love you to much!" he made his eyes water, "You hurt me!" he wined.

Well it worked she was distracted from saying anything to which she usually did! he thought this over in his head as he played the poor injured soul game to Tera.

Tera froze when she heard him say the word love. It wasn't something that she accepted easily. There were too many times in her past that it had been empty words or snatched away from her. She felt bad that he was hurt but at that moment her mind wasn't able to process the idea of what to do about it.

She responded the only way she knew how; she ignored it, all of it. Tera began busying herself in packing their few belongings in the patched duffle bags they had.

Josie sighed looking up at Dani. "How much supplies have we got?" She asked quietly.

((Yup Yup. Tera and Mateus are still romping through the woods. It won't be long till they're back though. Mwahahaha!! ... *Cough* :twisted: ))

Mateus got up and brushed himself off, "Typical Tera ignore me when I say anything about my feelings toward you! You know no matter how much you ignore them they will not go away, what I said still stands!" He yelled after her as he headed toward his room to change. Just before turning into his room he took off her jacket and threw it at her, then ducked into the room.

Typical little denying brat! he complained to himself, I can't belive she still is denying the inevatible! He finished dressing and walked out to her.

"So all packed? The romantic hunny moon is all booked and I even made sure the food was fresh!" He joked with her.

As Dani approached the car she was glad to see the sun hadn't risen much more. She released Josie's hand and began to rustle around in the car, shoving any food items she could find into a bag, a long with some water bottles she had been sure to pack before they had even left home. As she pulled the bag out of the car, she slowly turned to her friends and asked "Do you think we should bring anything else?" She personally did not want to carry much and made sure that she didn't bring anything too expensive or worth a lot of value along with her. She leaned against the front of the car and rubbed her eyes.

"Food, water and a cell phone.We can call for help as soon as we get a signal back." She replied, brushing her hair from in front of her eyes. "It's going to be a long walk..."

Dani reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. "Yeah, and if anyone bought anything expensive..." She said turning to Zane, knowing he probably brought along a few things. "I know it's not that important..." she let thought trail off and scratched her head, swinging the bag over he shoulder. "I guess it's a good thing I'm not out of shape." She sighed, nowing she hadn't done any running for a long time now.

Josie smiled and offered her hand "Share the load?" She asked. She was possably the fittest one there because of her biggest hobby, cheerleading. She ran every morning, cheered twice a week for school and often during the weekends, plus she liked to rock climb.

"Sure," Dani laughed at herself. She use to exercise daily but towards her senior year she got lazier and lazier and eventually just stopped. She could run if her life depended on it, anyone could, but she knew she'd probably be easily tired by this walk. She lifted the bag off of her shoulder and passed it to Josie. "So, I'm ready when you guys are," she said and gave a slight smile. Feeling the sun warming the sky she was put into a better mood. At least now they would not have to worry about 'vampires,' their only concern at this moment would be the others, whatever they had called themselves.

Josie shouldered the pack and nodded.She was ready. Her gaze wandered to the rising sun,but she didn'tfeel the relief Danni did. There was something bothering her about that place, but she hid it.

"Okay, let's get going then." Dani said and began to walk back in the direction hours ago they had driven into town.

Tera stood tall again straightening her back with a bag hanging over one shoulder. "Well I'm packed. you on the other hand have only what you have on now. Seeing as it's much more than what you just had it is an improvement. For my plan it won't help you to carry it that way though. As far as a honeymoon goes, this little trip will be far from it. And I"m pretty sure that the humans won't be very happy that you're referring to them as fresh food."

With that said she walked to the "bed" room and picked up her discarded jacket on her way. She undressed and after shoving her clothes into her bag slung it onto her back before changing into her wolf form. The better for tracking and hiding in the shadows.

After she finished she walked back into the main room and stared at Mateus. It was her subtle hint that this was part of the plan and she expected him to do to same.

Mateus sighed. "Fine but I do get the hunnymoon after the plain right?" He said as he walked into the bedroom and packed a few things in a dufflebag then put his clothes he was wearing in and returned to wolf form.

He walked out into the main room and looked at Tera in that there is this what you want look!

Zane smiled at them before climbing into the back seat and grabbing his I-pod, stuffing it in his back pocket. Shifting around under the seat he pulled out a plastic bag that contained a pocket nife, whistle, and a lighter and mathes for when the light lost liquid. He hurried out of the car and slammed the door shut. He caught up with Josie and Dani, showing them what he grabbed.
"Never know when we're going to need them." he said with a shrug. With everything that happend he was sure that they would need them.

Josie smiled "Good thinking" She congratulated him. She'd never have thought to bring those.

"I wonder if we can get far enough away that the those other two won't find us," Dani thought out loud "They're a rather obnoxious pair, don't you think?" She said with a half sincere laugh. She didn't really think they'd get away with them, but she left a little glimmer of hope. She chewed on her lip as she walked, deep in thought about how they could get away from them if they did decide to return. She sighed and said "Any ideas of how we could avoid them?" She asked.

Josie shook her head. "Walk fast?" She suggested. "They're part wolf. They know which way we're heading. They can track us even if we were experts at covering our tracks, which we're not. If we veer off the road we're likely to get lost anyway." She sighed "But they seemed pretty wrapped up in each other, perhaps they'll forget about us?"
