Edsuchi ears perked when she heard Emezza. She turned to Emezza smiling. "we were going out for the day, want to join us?" Edsuchi asked happily.

Emezza blushed. 'Of course,' she thought.
"I'd love to! Is that fine with Vias and Luari?" Emezza said in a louder voice, starting to get comfortable with her surroundings.

Loshidi fluttered into the room gracefully and landed in front of the four. Folding her wings she asked, "What's going on?"

Emezza sighed. Having known Loshidi and Luari personally for many years she felt more comfortable now that the amount of people in the room was equal. At least equal in the sense that half of them she knew quite well and the other half not so well. Her friends had that calming affect on her!

[color=maroon]Loshidi ruffled her hair and fluttered her wings some more, giggling, she took Emezza's sigh as an ignorance.

Pouting a bit, she said, "You guys going somewhere?"

Edsuchi smiled whenn Loshidi flew in. "Ya we are going somewhere but were not sure where want to come with?" she asked. The more people the more fun she thought.

Her expression more pleasant she nodded, "Mhmm!" Although she had no idea where to go either. She shrugged and sat down on the couch at an angle so she wouldn't squish her wings. They were flapping rather slowly and calmly.

"Any ideas?"

Vias felt lost in conversation. There were so many women in this room; it was making him feel uncomfortable. Vias was usually calm, collected, and the main source of realism, but he couldn't think straight. They seemed to be pouring out of the walls and springing out of the ground! What was going to be a small group outing had, now, morphed into a large ordeal.

"Well," he said, clearing his throat. "I suppose we ought to figure something out, then, ladies?"

He folded his arms tightly across his chest, uneasily glancing back at the closed book he had been reading and pondering over all morning. Wondering if this would be a fun occasion, or if they'd end up confronting someone they'd rather not see, Vias begun walking out of the slightly-cramped room.

"How about we take a stroll?" he suggested, freeing himself of the claustrophobia. He shot a charming smile into the room of women, nodding to the lot of them. "What do you say?"

Edsuchi turned to Vias as he flashed his smile. She loved it when he smiled that way. Being his friend for a long time she had seen it and knew he was getting past his fear. But she couldn't help but blush at his smile. "Okay!" Edsuchi cheered throwing her arms into the air.

Emezza nodded at the idea. The walk seemed nice, nothing too exciting to have to worry about.

"I like the idea," Emezza said sheepishly. "I'd love to join you!"

Luari peered her jade green eye's among her friends, new and old. She didn't know what to do as she watched them.

"I'm happy!" she blurted out. Everyone went calm. "Or... at least I would be if I could feel any emotions..." Everyone looked at her and seemed surprised by what she said. "Let's do something already.... We could do so many things in this world after all!" She faked her happiness and everyone knew. She couldn't feel any emotions since that incidint in the blood red river. "Why don't we go for a walk or a picknik?.... It's something we could do... unless, any of you has any better ideas..."

Emezza understood what Luari was going through. She had also lost a part of herself in the blood red river, but Vias had restored her voice to her. She didn't know if Luari would ever feel emotions again and that was sad to think about.

Through the years they had spent together on earth, Luari had always outbursts of happiness and she would always look for way to make her friends smile with her goofy, fun sense of humor. Now that was all gone. Luari was still the same person, but a different person, too. So much she missed about her friends and the life they had shared on earth.

"A walk and picnic, just like when we were on earth," Emezza sang mereliy. She was finally warming up to Vias and Edsuchi, something she always did.
"When do we go, Vias?" she asked turning to her new friend, she hoped...

Vias nodded, looking at Luari as she had a random outburst of excitement. His brow furrowed, but he decided not to comment on it. His eyes slowly trailed the room, and he turned away from the group. Looking over his shoulder, he nodded at them to follow him.

"Come on, I'm tired of just talking about it," he said, walking away from the group, furthering his advance to the door. He peeled the wooden door open slowly, and the light hit him in the face. This made him squint and draw back a bit, and he shielded his eyes with his hand.

"Pack a picnic if you like, girls," he called out, peering outside, adjusting to the light. "But I'll be going on ahead. Whoever wants to invite themselves along is alright with me."
As soon as he stepped outside, into the fresh air, Vias released his wings. The dark-colored wings stretched out to a considerately large width and length. Without completely thinking about it, he realized his wings had ripped his shirt completely off. Twitching, he continued on. It didn't really matter.

Loshidi nodded as Vias went off to walk along. She wanted to come too, before the door had closed she saw Vias expose his wings. Smiling, she nodded at the other girls and flew next to Vias.

"Where exactly were you planning to fly off too?"

Edsuchi followed Vias until he took off into the air. She stood on the ground irritated that he had taken off. "No fair." she pouted her arms across her chest and her tail twitching in irritation. She quickly forgot about it though as she raced back to Lauri and Emezza deciding to help with the picnic. She bound happily back up to them. "what are we going to have?" she questioned excitedly she had only ever heard of picnics never had she been on one.

"Um, Edsuchi?" Emezza began as she helped prepare the picnic basket with all kinds of goods. "Was it something I said or did that made Vias angry? If it was me, I'm really sorry." Emezza's eyes watered a little with tears and she blushed. "I didn't mean to make him angry."

Vias turned around as Edsuchi walked away. He had only hopped up momentarily; he wasn't planning on flying anywhere. His vision, then, trailed to Loshidi, who questioned his exact thought.
"Wasn't planning on anything, actually," he said, looking ahead. "I just have to let them, hm, breathe, I guess you could say."

His large wings, then, on cue, flapped twice. A small gust of wind stirred up quite a bit of dirt, and he sighed a bit. He had almost forgot they were walking to a more rural area in order to have a peaceful picnic. Vias stuck his hands in his pockets while walking as Loshidi levitated closely beside him.

"I don't know much about anyone here, it seems like," he said. "Tell me about yourself."
He still was weighted down by the guilt of his past. He hadn't told anyone; in fact, he wasn't sure how much any of the group knew about him, bad or not. Edsuchi seemed to trust him the most, but he tended to hurt her feelings a lot.
Vias felt extremely out of place, not to mention a burden.

Luari then showed a crack of rare emotion that she had now or then. This emotion was concern. Thinking it over, she followed Vias to see that it seemed like he was thinking of something that troubled him.

"Vias, are you alright?" Luari began. "You seem troubled..." She had no idea about this world or the creatures in it but she could see something in Vias that seemed, to her, like one of her male friends at her school... before the shooting.

Vias turned, as if he were startled, when Luari approached. Her voice; her words, they seemed to cut through him. Vias was usually quite composed, but this... it made him seem restless; it made him nervous. Did she know something?

"I'm... I'm fine, Luari," he finally turned to look at her. He gave her a friendly smile, facing forward once again. "Don't fret. My problems are the least of our worries, yeah?"

He gazed up into the sky, squinting once again. Something was eating out him, to release everything and spill his guts. He didn't say a word, though, and sighed heavily.
"Hope this picnic goes well," he said, changing the subject.

"tee hee." Edsuchi giggled. "You didn't make him angry. Hes just unsure and there were too many people in the small room he gets uncomfortable don't worry about." Edsuchi said a happy little smile on her face. "What next?" she asked placing something into the picnic basket.

"Are you sure I didn't make him mad?" Emezza asked. "I really should say sorry to him, hopefully he won't hate me." More tears streamed from Emezza's eyes. "I'm so stupid!" she creid. "I always make people upset!" She cried and cried and soon found she couldn't stop herself.

"Emezza, I don't think you've gotten him mad..." Luari whispered to Emezza. "I just think that he's just keeping something from us and whatever it is... it's eating away at him but I suggest we don't ask him anything about it, just in case"

Luari looked around at her surroundings. She peered apon the bright and vibrant flowers surrounding the lively trees. What a sight! she thought to herself It's quiet wonderful!

She turned to Vias and responded to his earlier comment. "I'm sure that everything will go fine. It's not like someone's going to jump out and attack us"

"That's not exactly what I meant," he said, his hands in his pockets. "But take it however you wish."
He walked ahead a bit, still not used to being social. He didn't want to drive the only people he'd ever bonded with away (if you called this bonding). Letting out a sigh, Vias walked along with his head in the clouds. He wished things would turn out like they did in books; like they were supposed to, with a happy ending. Nothing ever seemed as awkward in books as they did in life, but that was how it was; how it always would be.

Vias came across a spot that looked level enough for eating; it was placed perfectly beneath the shade of a tree. A smile fell across his lips lightly, and he shared his newfound happiness with the two girls that followed him.
"Looks perfect, doesn't it?" he asked, not really expecting much of an answer. "Did either of you bring a blanket?"

Loshidi just shrugged when Vias asked about her. "What is there to tell? I'm a fairy that's just..well, me. Can't really put the words to it." she said, looking up into the sky, floating beside him as Luari came.

When they arrived at a spot underneath the tree, she looked at Luari when Vias asked if they had brought a blanket. "No, sorry. Luari?" she asked, going under the tree and putting a hand on the trunk.

Emezza walked up to Vias. "Here, I hope this balket will do..." She handed a maroon silk table cloth to Vias.

"Vias... I...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset earlier. I was just trying to get to know you! I like you alot, you know. I hope we can be great friends!" She gave him a weak smile, then started to edge away. He looked mad at her.
