"I didn't mean..." she paused and tried to formulate what she did mean "Some of these patients could very well resemble the...infected?" She said, putting a question in the last word because she wasn't sure what she should call them. She brushed her bangs out of her face again and continued down the hallway. "There are three doors out of here." She said "The one we just entered, one at the end of this hallway that leads into another open hallway and there's one that lets out into, well an unused wing of the hospital." Sue knew this place best of all because that's where she'd spend her breaks, rather than around other people.

Tanya shrugged "You can see it in their eyes when they're infected." She told her.
Brown sighed "Thanks for the heads up." He butted in, interupting Tanya. She shrugged. Brown was better at interaction with civilians than she was. She didn't mind.

"Any specific way to kill the infected?" She asked, turning a corner "And which door do you want to take out?" she said, stopping at the end of this hallway, the left turn lead to the empty portion of the hall and the right led to the other. She waited for some replies; she wasn't one to chit-chat, she was more of a get down to business sort of person.

"Shoot them in the head. Kills just about anything." Tanya told her bluntly. "The one that leads to people. That is why we're here."
Brown couldn't help but smile and lower his weapon. "You'll have to forgive Tanya, she's grown up with the military and isn't too good at talking to civilians." He explained.

Sue only nodded and turned right, walking to the end of the hallway "Seeing as I am unarmed, I think I will stay here by the door. If there is any survivors, you can direct them this way and I will let them in." She said as she placed her hand on the door, waiting for their go ahead to open it.

Charlote turned to look at the man one last time before she walked back out into the hallway. "Doctor?" She started to speak, but her superior interjected. "The entire trauma unit has been evacuated and all exits locked. No one else is inside. All nonvital staff have also been sent home." He said in a cold, calculated matter. "The hospital was very specific on how this should be dealt with." Charlote could only nod and watch from the now padlocked door as the man flat-lined; the machinery's long unpausing signal echoed through the room. "Time of death 4:32pm" Charlote said softly. The doctor pulled a stopwatch from his coat pocket and handed it to Charlote. "I want you to stand here and time this". The doctor said to her, his eyes deadly serious. "T...time what?" Charlote looked at the now deceased man. "You'll know when it happens."

Tristian finished getting ready and then picked up his things and threw them in to a book bag that he slung over his shoulder. He exited the room then turned to make sure it locked. He walked to the elevator and pushed the button to wait for it to arrive. "Bloody thing takes to long!" He said to his self. after a few minutes it arrived and he waited as the same women from the air plain stepped out. they frowned when they noticed who he was. "Good evening ladies." he said with a smile as he passed them and on to the elevator.
Once on the elevator he watched the door close and sighed letting go of his smile, "Great so this is my omen of how the day will go." He jabbed his finger into the lobby button and leaned back against the wall.

Tanya nodded "I doubt we'll find any." She replied "You're the first un infected person I've seen since we got here." She shrugged. Of course this meant only one thing. Steralisation before the hospital got out of control. "I suggest you concern yourself with getting these people out of here before the infection spreads and it becomes impossable. These people don't function like we do, they will find this section soon enough and they will stop at nothing to get to these people."

Tristian made it to the lobby after what seemed like hours in the elevator. He waited for the doors to open then walked back up to the counter, "Can you keep a hold of this package for me? Don't lose it, it has your room key in. Do not give out my room while I am gone, I will be back. All of my things are still in there." He placed the package on the counter and headed for the door against the protest that this was crazy behavior, coming from the receptionist.
Once out side he hailed down a taxi and asked them to get him as close to the hospital as possible.
"I don't think you want to go near there kind sir!" informed the taxi driver.
Tristian smiled at the face in the rear view mirror and replied, "I believe i know where I want to go, And I also believe it is your job to get me there! Now go!"
The taxi driver smiled back at him, "I see you have not changed your attitude dear Tristian."
Tristain was taken back by this, "You know me?"
"Did you really think you would make it through your old town with out meeting someone who knew you?" He said still smiling.
Tristian took a deep breath then let it out, "One can hope!" he replied.
The driver laughed and pulled away from the curb saying, "Yes they can son, yes they can."

Charlotte stood watch at the trauma room door, the stopwatch lying in her hand. It had been almost three hours and nothing had happened. "What the hell does he think is doing to happen, the man is dead!" She leaned her forehead on the doors tiny window and sighed; A few more patients had come and gone and the clinic was pretty much empty. Somewhere nearby someone had the radio playing, news reports were talking about the outbreak, about gunshots and military involvement. Charlotte was relieved she was across town and sitting there keeping watch over a strapped down corpse. "I hope everyone at the hospital is O...wha?" She peered into the room; she swore she saw the guy’s finger twitch. No...it was a trick of the light, at this late in the game there’s no way we're still experiencing nerve discharges... Charlotte watched closer as the patients left thumb twitched again. "Oh my ever loving God...DOCTOR!" She turned away from the locked door and popped her head down the hallway, being sure to click the stopwatch off. "DOCTOR!" She yelled again before turning back to the window. The patient was now fully conscious and had broken one of the restraints. "Oh my...DOCTOR!!" She screamed.

[size=10]Sue nodded again and allowed the door to shut behind the two. What exactly am I supposed to do? she though Most of these people can't even tie their own shoes properly let alone follow directions. She sighed and tried to think of how to move so many patients by herself. She figured there was no way and she'd have to get help from those patients that could function well enough to help her move the other, immobile patients. She moved in front of three or four doors and began unlocking them, poking her head inside "Can you come with me for a moment?" She asked to each occupant and they all followed her out into the hallway. "The hospital has to be evacuated and I need your help to move those patients who cannot move themselves. We need to find them a safe place." She said and waited for a response. She had gathered their charts from the doors and only looked at the major diagnosis of each patient. She ran her fingers through her hair and smiled at them. Of the fifteen patients in this ward, only six of them were capable of walking on their own.
Four of them she had already decided to put into one room and sedate them well enough that they won't wake up. Then, when more help arrives those patients can be removed from the hospital. She would barracade the door inside and out and keep most lights off so if they somehow get past the security doors those few patients would hopefully be safe. She ran her fingers through her hair and said "Five patients will need to come out with us in wheelchairs, who would like to go get one?" She asked and waited as all of them moved down the hallway towards the wheelchairs and came back. She pointed each one to a room and unlocked the doors and as each wheel chair filled except for the one she decided that last patient who'd gotten a chair would be able to help anyway. "I'd like you to be our guard, okay?" She said and knew she'd gotten through to him. After having slipped the four patients who could barely get out of bed into one room and covering the window and door completely with old equipment Sue moved to the end of the hall and looked out the window.

The driver pulled up out of the sight of the police that where blocking the way to hospital, "This is as far as I can go with out them forcing us to turn around. I warn you again though Tristian... be careful!" He said looking back at him.
Tristian only smiled and then through money at the guy, "Aw come on you know me what is there to worry about?" He said as he winked and scooted out of the back seat.
The driver shook his head and said "Yes I do know you, and that is enough to make me fearful of what you might do." He then grabbed Tristians hand, "I know you sister was in there, but please don't do anything stupid!"
Tristian pulled his hand out of his grip and frowned, "Is in there. Still! I will do whatever it takes to get her out! Weather it be stupid or not!" With that said he turned and walked away toward the hospital trying to stay out of sight. luckily he had pin pointed all the ways in earlier.
The driver only shook his head then drove off.
