Jax quickly went for the un-bandaged leg, grabbing by the ankle with both hands.

((If there's a 13-year-old who fights, then a 15-year-old who doesn't fight doesn't make much sense. I hope you don't mind if I fix this problem by making him a wimp.))

Alex was jolted out of sleep as an echoed yell hit his ears. His first thought was that it was a Hell Bringer and that they'd finally be found and infected, but he then heard voices drifting up through the halls. He sighed with relief and walked toward where the sounds were coming from...

"W-what happened?" it was hard for him to talk with one hand clasped over his mouth, but if it wasn't there he was sure he'd throw up. Right now he was just glad he hadn't fainted from seeing all the blood.

"much Thanks a lot i will stay here and gard the fort while you and someone eles go looking for stuff if that is okay with you Caden" Said James with a smile.

"Yes well I think someone should stay here with you and Alex if we are to leave just in case something happens." With the help of Jax and Nicki she lefted him up and took him to his room. She grabed a long stick and broke it in half so she could make a cast for James.

((Hmm...I guess Jax is a little young...>.> But I have a friend who knows a lot of self-defense...

and ten year olds who know karate. XD Let's just say Jax is well educated in those areas and she's a bit obsessed with swords and guns. ^^;))

Jax looked over at Alex and grinned. "Geez, you're turning green." She brushed her bangs to the side. "James was being an idiot and stepped in one of his traps." She shrugged as if it were nothing. "He'll be fine."

((Right~! Just so ya'll know. Jax doesn't like being called by her first name. ;) So if your character decides to tease Jax for some reason, just have 'em say that or "Relax, Jax'. XP She get's irritated easily.))

"No." nicki said. "You need to rest. At least let me the guard the fort with you." she said. "Caden, I already made him a cast." she added poitnting to his cast.

((Oh, I'm fine with his age. I just wanted to make sure you were okay with how I play your character))

Alex was about to turn red rather than green, but the thought of someone stepping into one of those grizzly-looking traps sickened him more than Jax's comments embarrassed him.

"I don't see how you can talk about it so easily when it looks just so..." he shuddered and turned away from the injury, even though it was covered, he couldn't help but think of what the wound now looking like- all the blood and the skin stitched together like a piece of cloth. That alone was enough to make him gag.

He would've never had to see this kind of thing before.

"I will be fine if i can get a crutch, and i can defend the castle if nessasary" pointing to his sword on the chest at the foot of his bed

Jax shrugged. "Better to look on the bright side of things I s'pose." She smiled. "He's gonna be fine, don't worry about it." She started grinning again.

"just go i will be fine and you should be in ear shot of the castle okay now leave" he said sounding anctios.

Caden looked at James and thought for awhile. "Alright James, but you have to stay inside. We don't want to risk something coming to the castle because they could smell your blood." Caden turned to Jax and Nicki. "Are ya'll coming?"

Jax looked over at Caden. "Wouldn't miss it for anything." She said as she walked over to the weapons closet and grabbed a Glock 45 and put it between her belt and jeans.

(I think it's a Glock 45. D; I can't remember. But it's basically a 9mm ^^; )

Caden walked over to the weapon cabinet and grbbed another gun that she used only went she ran out of bullets in her hand guns. "Alright let's go. Nicki if you want you can stay here."

Jax sighed and grabbed a sheathed sword, strapping to her back so the the hilt of the sword was just above her shoulder. She glanced over at Caden, and then looked over at Nikki, waiting for her answer.

"Nikki you can go i will be fine" Said James as he work his way out of bed and to his sword.

Alex, rather than state his own choice-which was already obvious, also looked to Nicki for her answer. He knew there was a good chance that his sister would leave and he really didn't like being away from her, but the thought of leaving the small group's little sanctuary positively terrified him.

After all, if it wasn't a Hell Bringer they could run into some animal, and if not an animal there'd be.... he looked to James' leg, shuddering again. Traps. Another day, another phobia.

Nicki suddenly realized she was still dripping water from swimming in the lake. "I better go dry off." she told then and went to look for a towel.

Caden pushed James sword towards him show he wouldn't have to move to much to get it. "We'll be back by sunset, if we aren't you must lock us out." She looked up at Jax and Nicki and then back at James. "I don't want to risk any hell bringers coming into the castle. We'll have a better chance on the road than ya'll sitting in here with the doors open." She looked back to Jax and Nicki. "let's go."

Layla walked into James room to see what all the fuss was about. She walked in as Caden was talking. She looked over at James and then over at Caden trying to stay on one subject at a time. "Wait Caden where are you guys going?"

Caden looked over and saw Layla walked into the room. "We're going to go find supplies." She thought about bringing Layla but she thought it would be better with just three. "You should stay here. We don't need four people. Besides I think James will need his badage change in a few hours and I don't expect Alex to be able to handle that."

Jax started shifting her weight from foot to foot. She was already excited about their little venture into the city. "The sooner we go, the sooner we get back." She said. "And we won't have to worry about being locked out of the castle." She made a face at that. Just the thought of being left outside in the dark made her feel uneasy. She stopped shifting her weight and stood straight, with her arms folded across her chest. What would happen if they didn't get back before sun down...?

"if you get locked out knock three times then kick the door then knock two more times will that work?" Lames smiled and drew his sword to look at it.

"How 'bout we just shout 'It's Us' or 'Gemima' or something...." Jax rolled her eyes. "We'd probably forget how many times we were supposed to kick it anyways." She smiled slightly and reached for a pack of ammo; She shoved it in her pocket.

"or you guys could just come back before sun down." She looked at her watch and it read: '12:45'
"Better hurry too, the closest place is about two hours away."

"or we can wait untill tomorw so we can plain overnight one more day would not hurt us"
