"Fine! You win! Your life sucks more than mine. Are you happy now?" she asked, staring at Destiny long and hard. "Didn't think so. Destiny, us fighting isn't going to change anything. You don't have to like me, and I know you never will, but you don't have to hate me either. We're two different people, and we've gone through different things, I get it. If we can't get along, maybe I should just leave! But that's what you want, isn't it?" she asked, not wanting to hear the answer she knew was to come from Destiny's mouth. Of course it is, Iaa thought in her head, walking away to find her remote.

"I dont hate you, I never said that! You just really annoy me and as long as you dont get in my way, your'e fine. It's just like, everything you do annoys me. What bugs em more is you run from your problems, you dont deal with them. But, thats how you spolied aliens were taught, so go ahead and run, then problem will never go away" she said.

Iaa stopped in her tracks and turned around to look at Destiny. "Don't you get it? That's what I've been trying to do! But you just didn't want to cooperate!" She sighed and rubbed her temples. "Well can you at least tell me how I'm so annoying to you? Is it just because I'm an alien? Or is it something else?"

"To tell you the truth.... I have no clue. I wish I could tell you, but I dont know exactly why, so I cant" she said, sighing. "Calm down cuase you look like your'e gonna have a temper tantrum or something" she said.

Iaa began to laugh at Destiny's last comment. If anyone was the drama queen, it was Destiny. "Well, then. What do you say? Truce?" she asked, holding out her hand.

She sighed, then shook ehr hand "fine then." she said. "now, if you dont mind, I have to um... got listen to music in my room" she said.

Edward had heard their raised voices from a couple of rooms away. He almost went to see what was going on because he couldn't make out what they were saying, but despite how curious he was, he recognized their voices and knew it'd be better to stay out of it. He felt like no matter what he did, Destiny would be mad at him, and he didn't want to make the current tense situation any worse. He finished on the computer in that room and moved on to one in a room further away.

Destiny walked away and went to her room, not bothering to close the door. She put on Escape the Fate- Situations. She sat downa nd wrote a note to Edward. It read: Sorry Eddy, er, I mean, Edward. I didnt mean to get so upset at you. I dont know why I did, but I'm sorry. I understand if your mad at me. and she signed it.

Jariath turned his head in the direction of what seemed to be a small quarrel. Destiny and Iaa? Thankfully it was a short argument, but he had to wonder why they were arguing in the first place. He walked away to another room, deciding to try and tinker with the pocket watch he found.

Lili pushed off from the door frame and took a few steps out to the man. He seemed to be looking for something, "Do you need help finding something sir?" she called. This village didn't get visiters too often, which was good because it meant that they were hiding themselves well. Still, here one was.

Farrell turned his whole body to face her, nodding slowly. "Yeah kind of. I've been traveling and I was wondering if there was some sort of inn here." He asked, gazing at her.

"Oh" said Lili blinking, sounding surprised like she was expecting something else. "Um...I suppose you might be able to find some lodging at the tavern. I think they keep one or two rooms open just in case. I'll take you over there, its not far." she said starting to walk away and motioning for the man to follow.

Farrell nodded, waiting for another answer. "Oh thanks." He said, following her lead. Hopefully they had casino there or a betting hall. He wasn't necessarily a compulsive gambler, rather someone who just enjoyed the thrill of it occasionally. And it was only occasionally that he came across a town with a casino.

As they walked, Lili looked at the man, "What brings you to our village sir? Is there some buisiness that you must attend to?" she asked, trying to be polite.

Farrell shrugged. "Nothing really. I just happened to be traveling through town." He answered as he continued to walk. He admired the rest of the village, looking at a few of the houses.

Destiny took the note and slipped it under Edward's door, then went back to her room and laid down on the bed, jazz music playing. She felt relaxed, and drowzy. She wondered if Edward had read the note and forgiven her for snapping at him. She felt bad now, she couldnt feel relaxed and at ease until she knew he wasnt mad at her.

Lili shrugged, I guess that's a good enough answer she thought as she came up to the tavern. She led him to the door and stopped there. "Here you are sir, I think you will find the tavern to your liking. It is small, but Mrs. Lane is a good cook and she'll take care of you." she said turning away. She took a few steps away before turning slightly and looking over her shoulder. "If you need anything sir, you can call on me, I'll see if I can help any. If you can't find me, just ask anyone where Lili is, and they will point the way." she said before turning away and heading for her cottage.

Edward was finally satisfied that he hadn't broken anything else in the setting up of the system, but before he tested it out, he decided to relax a little and take a shower first. He was a bit dirty from being on the floor so much, and although it didn't bother him very much he still decided it would be a good idea. He went back to his room to get some clean clothes before heading to the nearest bathroom and he found the note from Destiny. He read it and it confused him even more. He decided he had to settle this and he was just to curious what was going on, so he went to her room and knocked on her door.

She got up, and opened it, seeing edawrd "Umm hi, I'm guessing you got my note" she said. She looked embarassed "I'm sorry I was being over-dramatic on you. I understand if you prefer not to talk to me" she said, looking down.

Edward rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah... I got it," he said. "But I'm not upset. I'm more confused than anything else. To be honest, I thought I was upsetting you and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong."

"Well, I kinda grought it on myself, teasing you and all" she said. She sighed, putting her hands at ehr sides. She remembered her knuckles and hid her injured hand, "so yea... I'm sorry" she said. "I was kinda acting like a jerk, in my opinion. PLUS I was being over-dramatic" she said.

Edward gave her a half-smile. "Well, don't worry about it," he said. "No harm done, right? I'm just glad you aren't really mad at me."

She raised an eyebrow "why would you care?" she taunted. She giggled and hugged him "well, thats good. I thought you didnt like everyone else but Iaa" she said, looking down. She hit her hand on accident on her side and let out a little yelp of pain.

Edward was obviously surprised by the hug, but he was even more surprised by her comment despite her previous comments about Iaa.
"Of course I don't just like Iaa," he replied. "I like lots of people, including you, Destiny."
He looked a bit concerned when she yelped. "You ok?"

(I forgot there's something I have to do, so this is probably my last post for today)

Her heart skipped, but he didnt mean it in a way that he loved her. of course he didnt, no one ever loved her. She hid her hand "ahhh.... yea. I have a um... condition. yea, I er, yelp at random times?" she said, smiling nervously.
