"are you serious...."she thought for a moment and sighed "fine i will....but just to get on your good side...."she said as she got up from her desk "so where should i meet you??"

"well i think your smart and pretty and you have a wonderful heard and a rambutious spirit"he smiled "i sometimes wonder if i was in custedy of my mother at times wondering if i would what kind of life i would have with her....but then again i kinda dont because...i wouldnt have met you or Akira"he smiled as they entered the basketball court.

"Hmm...you know that resteraunt i took ou to, mett me there, we'll have lunch and we'll talk about what colors to use," Breandan smirked even bigger. He now had an accomplice in it...

"You're wy too nice," Holli mumbled at the first thing he said but then looked up at him, her cheeks slightly red and smiled, "it's strange isn't it? How you regret it yet you're glad about it?" she glanced around then walked over and grabbed a few twigs, throwing them onto the concrete "um...maybe step back...I don't want to miss-aim," she gave Darek an unsure smile then held up a hand and pointed her palm at the pile of twigs, closing her eyes and concentrating on them starting on fire. Slowly she opened her eyes and...nothing had happened. She sighed loudly and collpased onto the ground, her hand waving a little in the direction of the twigs. Suddenly they start on fire and she screamed, jumping back in surprise.

Akira sighed "alright then...ill be there soon" she sad as she started heading toward her cloest and changed into some tight jeans blue and silver sneakers and a ble and white tank top and grabbed a black over sized t-shirt for painting. She then headed out of her room and towards the door and the got in her car and drove off towards the resturant.

"hey..im a nice person not like some people in this world" he sighed. He took a few steps back then jumped a bit and ran towards Hollie are you alright" he said as he held out one of his hand and placed an orb around the fire trying to keep it from spreading while the other hand pulled her into his chest.

Breandan stalked into the restaurant and sat down at the same table as before.

Holli nodded and stared at the fire, holding out her palm and closing her hand. The fire easily went out and she slowly took one step away from Darek her cheeks burning red. "Heh, ehm, s-sorry," she held up both hands and opened them as if she was offering Darek something. She yelped and once again fell abck on her butt as she stared at the small flame that was burning in her hand "Darek...it...it doesn't burn...it doesn't hurt it's just there," she stared at it in wonder

Akira parked her car then headed inside and saw Breandon sitting at the table we sat ealier in the morning. She smiled and sat down infront of him "hey sorry i took soo long i went to go change into some comfortable clothing"

Darek pulled her closer to him and sighed as he fanned away the flames from her butt then picked her hands up then sighed looking up at Hollie "dont lie to me Hollie" he said as he pulled her back inside the house while grabbing on to her wrist.

Breandan shrugged and looked over her clothing "you look cute..." he mrumured quietly "but, anyway, colors, i was thinking since i like dark and she painted mine bright and she likes bright it's only fair that i paint hers dark," he shrugged

Holli struggled against him pulling her but not enough to actually get away "no it really didn't! Look!" she held up her hand then stared at the red blistered skin confused. "But...it didn't...hurt..." she pulled away from Darek and sat down on the ground, burying her face into her knees then wrapping her arms around her legs. "I'm sorry...i'm wasting your time..."

"Thanks"she smiled happily "umm well we could use dark blue and dark green... how does that sound"

Darek sighed then crouched downd and picked up her head and smiled "your not a bother to me your actually quite fun to be around with" he said hugging her tightly "no come...let go heal your hands" he said getting up then held out his hand to her

"and black. Maybe a little dark red. Sounds good." he glanced up at the waiter "just a Pepsi," then at Akira "you can get whatever you want. Once again i'll buy,"

Holli shook her head nd pulled her hand free "it's pointless. I didn't do anything. I don't know how i started the fire and all i learned is that i could be burning to death and wouldn't even feel it...I'm just wasting your time. Go inside and i'll come later," she shrugged "whatever you want to do i don't care but you'll only be wasting more time by staying out here..." she looked down again.

"umm well im not really that hungry" she smiled then turned to the waiter " could i have lemonade and a salad please" she then turned bach to Breandon "and yea the colors sound good...hmm maybe we should get sponge like skulls"

Darek sighed then headed back inside. Then came back with some bandages and rubbing alcohol and sat down right infront of Hollie and grabbed her hand and started to disinfect it "i have all the time in the world" he smiled softly "... why do you try to push away someone who is trying to help you"he said bluntly

"Mmm, she likes skulls. Maybe we should just splatter it randomly. We'd have to move everything out of her apartment but i could keep her keys and she could ust continue to stay at your place...if that's all right," he raised an eyebrow

Holli watched him clean her burns with no expression on her face. "I don't know. Partly because I'm scard that you'll find bigger, better, things and realize i'm obsolete and leave me, partly because I know there are bigger and better things for you and all i'm going to do is hold you down." she sighed sadly "and don't say you won't leave me because you will. People have before and people will again. I believe there are people meant to have their names known and be loved by everyone, then i believe there are people who are supposed to be the ones loving the well known crowd, then i believe there are people who are jst stepping stones and stairs for the people loved by everyone. Those people just get their faces forced into the mud and they can't do anything about it. Maybe we have free will but there's no escaping which type of person you are and there's no doubt for me which one I am and which one you are," she looked at Darek sadly

"yes of course ots perfectly fine with me " she smiled "so we should move her stuff no then start painting"

"well i tend to stick to people im mean look at me im a butler who is stuck to a very happy person all the time i have no where else to go im technically a bum who slacks off most of the time im mean yea i would like to find someone in this world who would love me but..."he grabbed the bandages and stated wrapping her hands "then again i dont want someone to hurt me again...so i guess i could just be alone for the rest of my life being Akira's butler."

"We'll move ehr stuff to my house, i have an extra room that she never goes in to," Breandan shrugged and took a sip of his Pepsi which had come.

"Trust me, you're just in a down time, you're definitely the star that everyone'll love. Eventually you won't remember me, you'll just remember some wierd girl with the most ridiculous beliefs. I'm just a stepping stone in your life, you'll move onto so much more and you'll have so much fun there...never feel bad about forgetting me though okay?" Holli looked up at Darek "Maybe people have loved me, but they've forgotten and moved on, my mom isn't even looking for me anymore..." she sighed sadly and flinched as he hit a particularly blistered part of her hand.

"alright thats fine with me right after this we should start moving things out of the apartment then"she smiled as she took a sip of her drink then started eating her salad.

"well why cant it be you...why cant it i like you trust me ive been through almost the same things as you...i can be the one for you"he said finishing bandaging her hand then kissed it "i dont think your a stepping stone in my life it think you way more than that..i really like you"he smiled softly "will you take a chance with me?"

"Breandan nodded "I know, we will. We'll use my truck, none of her furniture is really 'furniture' so it'll be easy"

Holli stared at Darek her mouth open in surprise "I-I...Bu-but...Y-you want me? Why?" she looked shocked, and little unsure like she thought this might be a trick, that he was just messing with her. "If-if you're serious...yeah....i guess i'll try but..." there was even one more thing in her eyes but she hid it well and didn't voice it.

"wait what do you mean like its not 'funiture'"she said confusingly while trying to finish her salad.

"your a very interesting girl...and something about you wants me to figure it out"he smiled then looked at her facial expression "i-is there something the matter..."he asked curiously.

Breandan shrugged "you'll see. You don't have to rush you know," Breandan raised an eyebrow as Akira kept eating

Holli looked away, blushing a gentle pink. "It's nothing," she murmured as she rested her head on her knees again. She smiled slightly at Darek but it didn't reach her eyes. The mix of emotions was still present there and slowly the hidden one seemed to slip further and further into the background, making it harder to know what it was.

"are you sure...because the faster i eat the more time we have to paint her room"she smiled "unless you want some of my salad"she said holding up a fork full of lettues.

"are you sure"he said tilting her head up looking into her eyes and smiling softly at her

Breandan raised an eyebrow and shook his head to the offered food "Her and that butler of yours are probably entertaining themselves quite nicely. She won't even notice you're gone," he smirked

"Yea," Holli grinned, somewhat back to her old self "I'm fine," she forced herself up, pulling Darek with her. She got on her toes and kissed Darek's cheek "trust me, I'm great," she winked and the emotion was all but gone.

Akira shrugged then continued to eat her food then looked up at him and raised a eye brow "wait...how did you know about my buter...have you been spying on us"

"i bet you are"he smiled then kissed her forehead "so...what would you like to do...we have the whole house to are selves...or would you like to go somewhere else"he smiled.

Breandan rolled his eyes "you were thinking about them when you walked in. Have you forgotten i read minds?" he laughed, amazed at Akira's short memory

Holli shrugged "I don't know...You want dinner? I'll cook..." she raised an eyebrow and made a face at Darek then giggled and let her face go back to normal. She grabbed Darek's hand and led him back into the house then paused "where is the kitchen?" she laughed at her own stupidity "I'm such a moron..."

"ohhh yea i totally forgot"she giggled "sorry about that"she smiled then finished her food "alright im ready"she said taking her last sip of lemonade.

Darek looked at her and chuckled "your not a moron...and the kitchen is right through that door to the left "he smiled opening the door to her and let Hollie go in first.

Breandan shrugged it off "Eh, whatever," then stood up and threw down the payment and the tip again then walked out, pausing and holding the door open for Akira. "Her apartment is 907 Meade St. Meet you there." He walked over and got in a big black truck.

"Thank you," Holli grinned and skipped into the kitchen "Is there anything you'd rather me not use? I don't want to find out after I use it," she chuckled and hugged Darek then looked around "and what kinda food do you like? If you don't mind i'd like to try Mediterranean...." she danced over to the fridge and opened it, looking inside. She sighed loudly and walked over to an iPod dock and pulled a video iPod and went to CAKE "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" then turned it on

Akira smiled"awww arnt you sweet"she teased "alright then ill be there soon ill see you then"she smiled heading back to her car and started to drive off to Hollie's apartment.

"well you can use anything thats here i dont mind and mediteranian food sounds delitious"he said huggging her back and kissed the top of her head.Then walked towards the counter and leaned against it listening to the music that Hollie was playing "so would you like me to help you with anything"he smiled softly.

Breandan smirked at Holli's apartment. You could certainly tell it was hers. The apartment was really just a small house with hot pink siding and lime green trim. He climbed out of his truck then waited for Akira.

Holli smiled back at him and pulled out an onion "could you dice this?" she tossed it to Darek then pulled out the ingredients for Hummus and started mixing it up.

once Akira finally made it she looked at the house "wow...okie...its very uhhh how should i say it....unik"she mumbled then parked her car and headed towards Breandon "wow....the place is very...bright"she smiled'

"alright sounds good to me"he smiled then grabbed a cutting board and started dicing the ingreadience then grabbed a bowl from the cabinet and placed the food inside there "alright anything else..."he smiled watching her start to cook.
