Gideon kept his place for as long as he could. When the water stopped, he finally pulled his gaze from the curtain, but not quick enough to see her snag the towel. The sweet scent that filled the room reminded him of Scarlett: he loved how it was both soft and sweet. Gideon took a deep breath before standing, and reaching for Tali.
"'kay," he replied, and didn't stop his gaze from running over her once again. He could see the vague lines from where she'd been scratched the night before, but the gashes weren't as bad as he expected. With Tali squirming in his hold, the male stepped toward the bed and left Scarlett to change. Even after he'd gone, he sent a glance over his shoulder. He couldn't help it.
Sitting on the bed, he fell back and smiled a bit as Tali mewed in protest. The kitten purred a bit, nibbling on Gideon's fingers . . . and then swatting at a lock of his long hair. As he lay there silently, Gideon closed his eyes and pictured Scarlett. It was many minutes later when he heard the bathroom door open, and he looked up at Scarlett when she sat beside him. "You're beautiful," he breathed, reaching up to touch one of the fading marks on her arm. He was always the socially graceful one, apparently.
-
"In the morning," Alice echoed, smiling as Andrew left a kiss on her lips. She sat there in a daze until he spoke again. "Oh, I get warm easily," she said, shrugging lightly. "And I don't like teeth. Being bitten . . . is bad." Despite her words, Alice grinned and ended up under the blankets. "I have cold feet." Andrew's devilish smile made her heart melt, and if she'd been standing her knees would have given out.
A giggle escaped her lips as Alice bumped Andrew's leg with her foot. He was warm, and (true to her word) her feet were frigid. "When I was younger I knew a boy like you. He was my best friend." Alice's expression darkened a bit, though her tone remained light. "I lost him in a car crash, though. Very sad." She didn't want to loose Andrew, too.
"Do you have many friends where you come from?"

At his words Scarlett blushed, she leaned her back against the head board of the bed and then moved so that she was sitting on Gideons lap, and facing him. Though she was straddling him she hoped he wouldn't get too upset by the closeness. She leaned forward and kissed him gently on the lips. This moment lasted a a few seconds, and then leaned her head back a little. "Thank you. Your very handsome as well.." She said, about to kiss him again when Tali crawled on his chest and her little tail was blocking his lips.
From only both the bed side lamps being on, their was a dim glow that made Gideon look so handsome, like one of her knight in shining armor dreams. She put one of her slender hands in his dark hair and then leaned over, giving Tali a kiss on her little head. Then she giggled and smiled at Gideon.
Andrew wrapped an arm around Alice. "Thats a shame.. and Yeah, I have a few friends back home. My sister used to have a bunch but when Carter kinda took over her life she lost all of them. So I lost a few as well, I don't really have any life long friends though." He said, biting his bottom lip. "Do you? Anybody that you think of whenever you think of home?" He asked, laying back into his pillow. "Bites aren't all bad. It just depends whose doing the biting." He chuckled, eying her.
((Woah! I looked at Gideon's pics you put and he is sexy o . o ))

"Oh, biting is still bad." Alice winked, and then laughed. "Though I suppose you wouldn't be as freakishly creepy." Shifting so she could lean against Andrew more comfortably, she played with the hand closest to her.
"Who do I think of when I think of home?" She grimaced. "My father. And my nanny." With a small laugh, she explained. "My father didn't let me go to public school, or private school. He didn't like the thought of school at all, so he hired a tutor. The man's wife was my nanny while I was growing up. Hence, not many friends and a nanny that is still around the house." Her gold eyes filled with humor. "She's a nice lady, she's just a bit plump and reminds me of Mrs. Santa."
-
Gideon's expression didn't change, but his cheeks darkened as Scarlett came into contact. His hands fell still and Tali nibbled at his finger again with the hopes of being cuddled again. Gideon felt Scarlett's kiss, and his gaze remained on her when she pulled away. When the woman leaned forward, a sudden pause revealed that Tali had managed to squirm up and sit with her head in Scarlett's direction. "Tali . . ."
The kitten mewed softly, and was rewarded with a kiss on the head. Scarlett's smile was the last touch to the moment, making it seem like some sort of dream. The feel of her hand in his hair seemed to prompt a reaction out of him. Tali was softly nudged aside, and she pressed her head against Scarlett's leg as she was "forgotten." Gideon reached up to slip a hand behind the woman's neck, pulling her forward until he could press a hungry kiss of his own to her lips.
One of his thoughts was that Scarlett was warm, and soft. He liked it. Reaching up with his free hand to place a hand on her waist, Gideon kissed her again. This time Tali's mew did nothing to distract him. A male, when presented with a physical situation, had a difficult time turning it down. In this case, there was no fight in Gideon's mind.
With a quiet hiss, Gideon rolled to trap Scarlett against the bed, his gaze intense.
(( I know, right? Kinda makes you wonder if there is a guy that really looks like that out there somewhere. . . . *goes to find him* Where are these guys hiding? LOL

((Haha, I know! So far I haven't seen any men that resemble the characters I dream of marrying lol And darn. xD Well if we have to keep Scarlett from doing anything we'll have to be presented with something scary happening nearby. Lol Oh sorry this is short I'm kinda in a hurry so I promise my next post will be much longer <3))
Scarlett felt Gideon pin her to the bed, but that didn't change any of her current thoughts. She craved this kind of contact, Kissing, holding. She leaned her head forward to his, pressing her forehead against his and then kissing him back, Her hands running down his muscular back.. From this position the girls eyes gawked at how handsome Gideon was. Since she had never been this close to him before.. she was amazed at what she had missed just a few moments ago. She continued to kiss him, her hands resting on his strong shoulders. She felt Tali rubbing up against her leg, but chose to ignore it due to the situation she was in.
Andrew smirked. "When I think of home I don't think of anything but the beach and the beautiful ocean." He mumbled, listening to her story. "A Mrs. Santa?" He chuckled. "Wow.. that sucks. I was in public school my whole life." He said, massaging her shoulder. "It must've been difficult not to have many friends but have so much.." He said, eying her. "I grew up with a lot of friends. But because of certain things happening I lost most of them." He said, sighing. "Lifes not that fair.." He said, putting his hand on his heart where his tattoo was. "But I guess people learn to deal with it."

(( Scary thing, coming up! LOL, since neither of them would have stopped of their own free will. . . .))
Gideon responded to Scarlett's touch with his own. A quiet sound of want left his lips as the moment progressed. In the half light, Scarlett's features glowed with a kind of luminescence that made her hair glow like liquid gold. If she was beautiful before, Gideon found her irresistible now. The male tangled his hand in Scarlett's hair, pulling her closer to him.
There was a moment when Gideon pulled back, just briefly, for breath. He met Scarlett's gaze with his own, seeing the same kind of hunger there. His hand ran down Scarlett's leg, and as he pressed his lips to hers once more, a soft noise filled the room. It felt like someone was approaching their door, crying quietly as they moved. The doorknob shifted, but nothing happened.
Tali began to hiss. The sound was easily ignored, at first. But then the cat reacted in a way that Gideon had never seen before.
While Gideon kissed Scarlett, the creature yowled, her eyes suddenly glowing with a strange reflective red. She launched herself at Gideon, becoming a ball of claws and fangs as she attacked.
With a hiss of his own, Gideon knocked the cat away. Looking confused, he managed to keep a droplet of blood from falling to Scarlett. "What's wrong with her?" he asked, not really expecting an answer. As though in response to his question, the kitten flew from the floor at one end of the room and struck Gideon's throat. The momentum was strong enough to knock Gideon backward, and he hit the ground with a grunt. He barely managed to get his wrist between the attacking fangs and his neck.
Tali shrieked with a noise that wasn't meant for a mere cat, and left many long red lines directly beneath Gideon's eye. She'd barely missed. Gideon tried to shove the creature away, but she was unearthly fast, and managed to dodge back only to advance again. It was a lucky shot that knocked Tali back, and then Gideon snagged the cat by the back of the neck and immediately "broke" it.
There was a sparking noise, and the cat fell still. Breath coming quickly, Gideon looked back up at Scarlett. Wiping some blood from his cheek, he looked stunned. "I don't know what caused that," he muttered, looking back down at the limp kitten.
-
Alice smiled as Andrew messed with her shoulder. It was a nice feeling. "It must have been hard for you." Her voice lowered, and she touched the tattoo on his chest. "Did you know her very well? Were you close?" It was true that people learned to deal with the sadness in their lives, but that didn't mean it never affected them.

Scarlett continued to kiss him, shivering as she felt his hand trail down her leg. She took both his hands and put them on her hips, wrapping her arms around his neck to continue kissing him. At the sound of crying the woman dropped her arms, glancing to the door. At first she ignored Tali's small hiss and accepted Gideons kisses, her eyes still on the door. But when Tali suddenly launched herself at him Scarlett nearly screamed!
When he was knocked to the floor Scarlett sat up, watching Tali try to claw at his eyes. Just as she was about to grab Tali, Gideon finally got a hold of the robotic animal and broke it. She was instantly on the floor beside him, smothering his bleeding face in her kisses. "Oh Gideon! Are you okay?" She asked, taking his hands and helping him up. "Come on. . Let's clean up your face and neck." She said, leading him to the bathroom. She mad him sit on the counter by the sink and grabbed a rag, running it under the cold water of the sink and then washing the blood off of his face and neck. She kissed the claw marks and then dried his face and neck off with the hand towel by the light switch.
She then bent over to grab the medicine bag out from under the sink and then stood back up straight, grabbed neosporin and started to dab the ointment on the cuts. Then she put a rather large bandage only on the cuts on his neck. "I don't think I have to put anything over the scratches under your eyes.. they're not that bad." She said, giving him a gentle kiss. "All better?" She asked, then glanced out of the bathroom towards the broken Tali on the floor. She frowned, but then the lights flickered and a mans voice was heard in the hallway.
"Yeah. We never knew our dad.. so we always stuck close to mom." He said, looking at the bathroom door like he could see his past just by staring in that direction. "She was so beautiful. I always told myself i'd marry someone like her. Dark hair, pretty, smart.." He said, sighing. "But then she got cancer when me and Scar were still in high school. And by the time she told us she only had a month or two to live." He said, taking Alice's hand.
"But everyone has a sob story." He smiled. "I don't wanna bore you with mine." He said, leaning over and kissing her forehead. He jumped when he heard a child crying in the hallway, then heard a loud creepy noise, then a thump. Then his sisters voice. "Should we go check on them?" He asked, sitting up. The door knob to their room jiggled, making the male scoot towards Alice.

Gideon looked to Scarlett's bloody lips as she kissed his features. He blinked as she touched one of the wounds, but forced himself to nod. "I'm alright," he said, standing with Scarlett's help. She took care of him like an angel, and he let her do her magic as she cleaned him up. It was a bit strange to see the blood . . . there was a lot of it, but that's only because they had been facial wounds. By the time he was bandaged up, Gideon was watching Scarlett's movements with a strange expression on his face.
"Thank you," he said, and leaned down to return her kiss. "Much better." Luckily his clothing was black, so there would be no other evidence of the fight. Blood wouldn't stain his clothing, luckily.
When the voice sounded in the hallway, it was difficult to understand. But . . . Gideon seemed to hear the words. With a frown, he stepped away from the counter and stepped toward the door to listen more closely. To anyone else, the message couldn't be heard. It was almost like it was too low, or too scrambled to be heard. Sadly, Gideon could hear what the man was saying with startling clarity.
"She's mine. Don't touch my wife.
With a blink, Gideon listened more closely.
"If you touch her again, I will tear the beauty she sees on your face away from you. I will not stand to see my wife with another man!"
There was a moment of silence . . . and then Gideon's knees buckled. He managed to catch himself against the wall, but he was still kneeling when the voice became a feral screech. The room was silent . . . but Gideon's mind exploded with pain. Pressing a hand to his head, he let out a cry. Stop!
The warning was clear: whatever resided in the house thought Scarlett belonged to it.
-
"There's nothing boring about a sob story or your past," Alice said, smiling as he kissed her forehead. That was when the unearthly sounds started. Alice heard the crying, and shuddered as she clung to Andrew. "Yes!" she said, swiftly getting out of bed. She might not have a great attachment to Gideon, but Scarlett she liked. That, and they were both human beings. They both didn't deserve whatever might happen to them.
Just as she got to the door, she heard what sounded like a male's voice. The knob moved before Alice touched it, and she glanced to Andrew with fear in her golden eyes. "I can't understand what he's saying," she said, swallowing thickly as fear began to claw at her mind.
Finally, the voice stopped . . . and a ghastly shriek echoed through the halls. It didn't sound human. "We have to go to them!" Alice said, shivering as she yanked the door open. The hall was empty . . . but for the flicker of shadows that seemed to stop moving. "Come on!"
Grabbing Andrew's hand, she made it to the other room and opened the door. Almost stumbling over Gideon as he knelt before her, Alice stopped herself from falling by clinging to Andrew. "What's going on?!"

Scarlett had not heard the words in the hallway, but by the look on Gideons face he had heard them. When the screech began she ran over to Gideon, crying because she had no clue what to do while he was crying out in pain. "ANDREW!ALICE!" She screamed, kneeling on the ground and sobbing while she held Gideon to her. She called once again for her older brother until he screeching stopped.
The blonde looked around the room anxiously, standing up to head towards the door. She opened it gently, and froze in fear. There, before her was Troy. Clear as day. He stood in front of her as if he were alive. He put out his hand.
"Come with me."
Scarlett shook her head. "I can't." She whispered. But this angered him. He flew into her, the force feeling like she slammed straight into a building. He pushed her against the wall and put both his strong, tan hands around her neck and squeezed with a force so great that it took the wind out of Scarlett. He leaned forward.
"You can't escape me darling. And now that you have a new body. You'll birth our little Angel."
Scarletts eyes widened, and then he was gone. As soon as his hands were off her throat she screamed, sliding against the wall to the floor and sobbing.
Andrew smiled. "Then maybe we can both share each others stories sometime.." He said. Then the screeching began. He jumped up, running to the door. The mans voice was deep and demonic sounding, but you couldn't understand what it was saying at all. Once Alice opened the door they ran to Gideons room, flinging open the door and seeing Gideon on the floor in pain, and Scarlett by the wall, blue in the face, sobbing. "What the hells going on!?" He yelled over the screeching, Helping sit Gideon on the bed and then running over to Scarlett. He helped stand her up, also sitting her on the bed.

It was comforting to feel warmth holding close to him. When the blonde stood to get to the door, there was a shock of agony bursting in his head. That was when Troy entered the room. "Scarlett!" Gideon flinched under another wave of sharp pain, and he tried to stand in order to help the girl. Seeing Troy made his temper rise . . . but he could do nothing. Wave after wave of torture rolled through his head, radiating out through his body. Gideon could do nothing to help his friend.
-
By the time Alice steadied herself, she helped get Scarlett to the bed. The woman sat between the couple, noticing that both of them seemed to be suffering. "What happened?" she repeated Andrew's question, but in a different tense. What was happening, what had happened, and what would happen?
Gideon managed to moan and rest his head in his hands. It was hard to think, let alone register what everyone was saying. The only words that kept echoing through his head were from Troy. "You'll birth our little Angel." Scarlett's scream repeated in his mind, nearly driving him mad. There had to be a way to keep her safe.
The noise finally died, leaving the house eerily silent. "I think we should stay together," Alice whispered, clasping Scarlett's hand and patting her back as she caught her breath. "This is getting too dangerous."

Scarlett continued to gasp between sobs, clinging to Alice and her older brother. "T-t-t-troy! He said h-h-he w-w-wanted m-m-e.."She stopped, gasping until she caught her breath. "He said he was going to make me have his child!" She said, biting her bottom lip and crying even more. She released them and wrapped her arms around Gideon, rubbing his shoulders to try and help him calm down. "Andrew.. we need to leave here." She said, then looked to Alice. "We can all stay at a nearby hotel or something.. but this is getting very dangerous!" She said, more tears coming to her red eyes.
Troys words continued to echo through her head. What did he mean by 'birth'? How was he going to get her to have his baby? Then it occurred to her. What if he was going to try and rape her? Her eyes widened and she shook Gideons shoulder. "Gideon come back to me, we all need to leave now." She said, kissing his forehead to soothe his aching mind.
Andrew hugged his sister, then looked to Gideon, having no clue what to do to stop his pain. "You okay man?" He asked, patting his shoulder. Out in the hall he heard things shattering, like glass being thrown against the wall. He nodded at his sister. "Alice and I will get our things in a few moments, you two do the same. And do not split up." He warned. Then we'll somehow get through that fence. Though we may have to dig.." He said, sighing. "But we'll have to wait for the storm to subside. It's too slippery to climb, and too wet to dig." He said, glaring at the hallway. At his sisters statement he froze. "Have his child? That will never happen. We'll keep you safe." He said, taking her hand.

((An idea? *le gasp* Oh boy! lol, sorry if my post isn't very helpful . . . .))
When Andrew asked if he was alright, Gideon could hardly react. He didn't mean to act as though he was ignoring him, but his mind couldn't formulate a response to the question.
Gideon listened, glad to have other voices to chase Troy's away. Feeling Scarlett's hands on his shoulders was a great help in chasing away his thoughts, though the pain remained. "He won't have you," he said in a voice so low and threatening that Alice glanced at him worriedly. Closing his eyes, Gideon tried to force the pain back. The more he tried, the more he found that the strange headache was fading . . . at least enough to let him think. He heard Andrew's words, and he nodded.
They needed to get out. Reaching up to place his hand on Scarlett's arm, he tried to reassure her that he was alright. "I won't let him touch you again."
-
Alice shuddered, noticing the bloody marks on Gideon's cheek. She frowned, but said nothing. Instead, she moved from between Scarlett and Gideon so they could talk to one another without her interference. "Glass?" she listened for a moment, then shook her head. "This place is nuts. I can't believe they had us come here!"

((Well.. i'm kinda stealing this from American horror story. But, in the middle of the night Gideon could wake up in this trance thing, and go downstairs, and then while he's downstairs Troy could come into the room looking like Gideon, and seduce Scarlett. Then the next morning she'd be like 'Last night was amazing!' And Gideon be like 'What?' xD And then they'd have to find a way out of the house so that she could get Angel out of her. Plus before they find out what happened we could have it so nothing bad goes on in the house for like a week so they don't leave.))
Scarlett nodded. "I know i'm safe while your here." She whispered, kissing the side of his face for reassurance. She then looked to Alice, nodding. "I think they just wanted to see if we could survive these few months. Then they'd be able to put the house up for sale." She said, looking down at her hands. They were shaking, so she took Gideons hands and laced them with hers. "I think we should wait till morning to try and find a way to leave. I'd rather not go outside at night.. I have a feeling Troy has a lot up his sleeves." She said, tears coming to her eyes once again. "I think that we should confine ourselves to a room, board up the door, block the mirrors, and then once it's tomorrow we run outside with our things." She whispered.
Andrew nodded. "I agree. I suggest we just all go to sleep and ignore everything tonight. Then in the morning we grab what we brought and then go." He said, hugging his sister. He didn't even care that she kept kissing Gideon. He was a good man for her. He knew that Gideon wouldn't hurt her. He gave a nod to Gideon as a kind of acceptance, then stood up off the bed. "Don't worry Scar, you'll be fine." He said, then looked to Alice, taking her hand. "And i'll keep you safe too." He said, smiling.

Gideon sighed when Scarlett kissed the side of his face, and he willingly linked his fingers with hers. He felt her trembling . . . and his brown eyes filled with worry. The pain in his head was fading swiftly, and he was glad to feel somewhat normal once again. As Andrew hugged the blonde, Gideon waited until he could pull her against his chest.
Embracing Scarlett, he breathed in the scent of her still-damp hair. He caught Andrew's nod out of the corner of his eye, and couldn't help but smile. He wasn't so bad, really. Andrew was a protective brother, and easily respected. Gideon nodded slightly in return, knowing that they would have no problems with one another in the near future.
-
Alice smiled a bit, taking Andrew's hand. "I know you will. Let's move that dresser in front of the door." They could do it together - it didn't look that heavy.

((Sooo? :3))
Scarlett snuggled up against Gideons chest and looked to the king size bed. It could easily fit four people if her brother and Alice were going to stay in here too. She bit her bottom lip. "Do you guys want to stay in here? It doesn't matter to us." She said, crawling up towards her pillow and patting the spot beside her so Gideon would get that she wanted to snuggle with him. One he was beside her again she wrapped herself around his chest, breathing in his scent. She always remembered her brothers scent as a strong curve cologne that made her think of good times. Gideons smell was similar to her brothers, so she stayed close to him. "I'm so worried.." She whispered into his chest.
She then looked up, putting her hand on the side of his head. "Does your head feel any better?" She asked, her hands massaging his shoulders. Her mind was still trying to figure out if what had just happened had been real or not.
Andrew glanced to Alice. "Do you wanna sleep in here or in my room?" He asked, not really caring. It looked like Gideon could take care of Scarlett if they left. "Yeah, we can easily move the dresser. And block the mirrors.." He said, biting his bottom lip. "This house is so freakin creepy.." He muttered, glancing around the room.

((Oh! I meant to say something about that! YES!! It sounds super creepy. Though . . . I don't know what to think of this "demonic" stuff. I mean, a demon child? *grimace* I just . . . can't. >_<' It makes sense . . . though I don't think we should solidify this as "demon" stuff. Wraiths, perhaps. Ghosts, even. But I can't do "spirits" or "demons."
*laugh*))
Gideon fell into the bed beside Scarlett, sighing in contentment as she wrapped her arms about him. She was a perfect fit: he could wrap his arms about her so easily. When he heard her comment about being worried, the male didn't reply. Instead, he kissed the side of her head and tightened his hold on her. He wasn't about to let anything happen to her. Not again.
"Does your head feel any better?" The question made Gideon smile a bit to reassure her, but then she started massaging his shoulders. He relaxed instantly, trying to keep his gaze on hers as he thought. "It only hurts a bit now. I'm fine." It must have been something that Troy did. Glancing to the others, Gideon carefully pulled Scarlett forward so he could kiss her lightly.
-
"I think Scarlett's kind in offering. We should . . . stay." As much as she didn't want to be in the same room as the others, it was too risky. They should stay together. She reached over for Gideon's coat, flinging it over the nearest mirror that stood a few feet away. "Mirrors. Ugh, I hate this."
She agreed with Andrew whole-heartedly. This place was a horror film wannabe. "The bed's big enough. And there's a chair over there, if someone's uncomfortable." Moving to help Andrew with the dresser, she shivered. "Let's hurry. I want to lay down and try to get some sleep."

((Yeah, In american horror story it was a ghost xD So Angel is just a ghost. But shes a very...mean one lol. And Troys the same. Scarlett just describes them as demonic because of all of their rage and their low voices. And yeah, demons creep me out lol Pretty much in american horror story a ghost raped this woman dressed in a rubber suit, and she thought it was her husband. But then the next morning her husband had no idea what she was talking about, so she gave birth to the baby thinking it was his still but the kids soooo adorable! But it turns out to have all these anger issues o . O But if were going o do my plan we'll have to do it next time her and Gideon are sleeping alone in a bed. So we could say that when they wake up its still storming or something so they can't leave.))
Scarlett slept beside Gideon on his side of the bed so Alice and Andrew could sleep on her side. She was literally almost on top of him to calm herself down. She kissed him back, laying her head on his shoulder so that she could still make eye contact with him. Her hand rested gently over his heart. "I'll keep you safe too." She whispered, sitting up so that she could pull the covers over them, then get back into her cuddling position as she had been before. Once Andrew was in the spot beside her she instantly felt relieve. Troy couldn't do anything with so many of them all together in the bed. It was comforting to have the warmth and reassurance of the other couple there as well.
Scarlett gave Gideon another quick kiss. "Try and get some rest okay? I want to leave here as early as possible tomorrow.." She said, sighing softly. She ran her hand gently over his heart. She knew after tonight, she would never want to leave Gideon ever again. And it killed her to know that after a few months, he might still leave to go home. And then they'd never see each other again. And even though she had only known him for about two nights, she was bonded to him from these events. And it felt like she had known him for years.
Andrew nodded and quickly shoved the dresser in front of the door. He then turned the main light out, leaving the beside lamps on. He crawled into the bed by his sister, pulling the cover over him and then putting out his arms for Alice. "I'll keep you warm." He smiled, not even caring that his sister was snuggling with Gideon. He had completely accepted the male now.
He knew that Gideon would do anything to protect his sister, so he no longer had a problem with him. Andrews eyes looked to Alice, and in that dim lighting he realized that he would do anything to keep this girl safe as well. He gulped slightly. How had he let himself grow such big feelings without even noticing? He guessed it was because he could tell Alice anything, and he felt so comfortable around her.

((:D Alright! Sounds like a plan. Sadly. . . . lol! Storming is a good idea. It keeps them in. Heck, we can . . . send the guys out to search for a way out while it's raining! Onward, then!))
Gideon felt Scarlett press herself close as she made room for the others. His breath caught and halted when she met his eyes and pressed a hand over his chest. "I'll keep you safe too." The words made him pause, and he watched her pull the blankets over them.
He was silent until everyone was resting, falling quiet in the dim light. "You sleep, too." Gideon met her kiss with a genuine smile, one that rarely lit his features. The feel of Scarlett's fingers trailing over his chest brought their last moments together into his mind. They were easy to dwell on as weariness suddenly overwhelmed him.
Keeping his arms wrapped about the girl, he watched her with half-closed eyes as she began to drift off. It wasn't long before her breathing softened, signaling her descent into sleep. "If I dream," he breathed into her ear, stroking her arm lightly, "I'll dream of you."
Pressing a soft kiss to her temple, Gideon closed his eyes and lay still. They would find a way out of this place in the morning.
-
Seeing Andrew's open arms, Alice nearly flaunted toward him. She met his warmth with her own, burying her face into the male's shoulder. If the scent of rain-dampened forest could be mixed with cologne, Andrew had mastered it. Perhaps it was just the smells of the house mixed with the rain. Tucking her head against the warmth of the blond's neck, Alice pulled herself under the covers and kissed his jaw.
"Every girl wants to be warm and safe," she whispered, glancing to Gideon and Scarlett. Despite her dislike of Gideon, he seemed to be doing pretty well with both of the siblings. Perhaps he wasn't as terrible as she'd first perceived him to be. "I know you boys will do everything and anything for us. Just . . . don't run off and get into too much trouble, okay?"
With a playful wink, Alice squirmed around until she was comfortable under the blankets. "And no biting." With another wink, she stared up at Andrew until he settled down as well. While he did, she marveled at his facial features in the dim light. It deepened the shadows about his cheeks and jaw, making him look all the sexier. A smile spread over Alice's features. I think I found someone.
"Goodnight."

((Nope :3 Time skip.))
Scarlett woke up early that morning. The sun was pouring in through the see through curtains, and for some reason there was an eerie quietness that settled over the whole home. The blonde sat up, making sure not to wake anyone of them and then she looked down at Gideon. He looked so handsome when he slept. The blonde glanced around the messy bedroom. From all the events of last night, there was multiple items that had been thrown all around the room. Tali was one of them.
Scarlett sighed and pushed her hair off her shoulders. She stretched her arms and laid back down, not wanting to wake the others up.
Andrew woke up when he felt his sister move behind him. He tightened his grip around Alice's waist and groaned softly. He opened his eyes, seeing that he had Alice in his arms. He sat up and stretched, figuring he and Gideon could go look for a way out. It was still storming by the sound of the rain on the roof, but maybe they could find a hole in the fence or something. The male leaned his head against the headboard, waiting for everyone to wake up.

It was a long while before the other two woke up. Alice was the first to wake, her eyes opening to find Andrew looking down at her. "Good morning, Tiger." She wrapped her arms about him as best she could, smiling as she glanced over at Scarlett. "You're lucky to have such a brother," she said quietly, reaching up to touch Andrew's covered tattoo.
With that, she slid out of bed and headed for the bathroom. She'd return in a few minutes.
-
Gideon didn't awaken for many minutes after Alice got out of bed. By the time he did, he was looking refreshed, albeit a bit sore. "How long have you been awake?" he asked Scarlett, taking a deep breath and shifting positions. He'd slept so deeply, he'd hardly moved in his sleep. Reaching out to trace a finger over Scarlett's cheek and jaw, the male eyed her features as though he might someday forget her. Gideon knew that wasn't true. He would never forget this woman.

Scarlett nodded at Alice's words. "I know. He's so wonderful.." She said, looking down at her brother who had been asleep before he awoke after Alice moved. She looked over to Gideon, her features softening. She leaned over and kissed him gently, then smiled. "Good morning. I've only been awake for a few minutes.." She said, sitting back up and then slipping out of bed. She kneeled on the floor and pulled her suitcase out from under Gideons bed and slipped on some light colored skinny jeans. She then grabbed a sapphire blue V neck top. She took off her nightie and slipped on her shirt since she had her back turned to Gideon, and her brother wasn't looking over here anyway.
She then slipped on her black ballet type shoes and sat by Gideons torso, her feet still hanging off the bed. "If you boys are going outside today to look for a way out then Alice and I can cook, and maybe look for anything we might need or be able to use." She said, going over to the dresser table. She turned the radio on to the news. The alarm was going off saying there was a tornado warning and that people should stay off the streets and get to a safe area. "Great." She sighed.
Andrew sat up after feeling Alice touch his chest. He then stood up, slipping on his jeans since he slept in boxers, and then putting on his black tee shirt. At the alarm going off on the radio the males brow furrowed. "Just our luck.." He said, pulling back the curtain so tht he could peer out the window.
He ran his hand through his blonde hair and looked to Gideon. "Well, I guess once the storm stops we should head out.." He said, biting his bottom lip.

Gideon managed to touch Scarlett's warm skin as she sat beside him on the bed, his mind running over her nearly-bare back. When she got up to turn the radio on, he finally sat up. His head felt completely normal once again. It was only a phantom memory of what had happened the previous evening. Brushing dark hair from his face, Gideon reached for the fabric he usually used to keep it out of his eyes. His family never had liked the crimson strip. . . .
"Another storm?" Gideon's brown eyes narrowed, and he shook his head in disbelief. "I suspected the weather would be clear while we were staying here." He glanced over Scarlett's form as he pulled his suitcase out. He couldn't get the girl out of his head . . . especially after last night. With the slightest of smiles, he turned his attention to finding a shirt. He withdrew a long-sleeved gray shirt and tossed his old one in with the rest of his things. Gideon was sure to check the glove on his left hand before reaching for his boots.
"We should check the front fence again," he suggested, looking up to where Andrew stood by the window. "There might be something we missed." He had a feeling it wasn't going to be that easy . . . but he could always hope.
"Did I hear you volunteer me for cooking?" Alice stepped out of the bathroom looking completely normal: her makeup on, features lit up with joy, and her smile in place. "I think we should start now. I don't care what freakish wraiths are in this house. I'm hungry. They won't like me when I'm hungry."
The woman glanced to Gideon and the two seemed to share a look of mutual dislike. That was when Alice noticed the radio's warning. "Another storm? Goodness." Her gold eyes lingered on Andrew for a moment before she walked up to hug him from behind. She rested her cheek against his broad back, linking her hands about his stomach. "We girls will take care of you. Don't worry. I'll try to keep the rat poison away from my bowl."
Gideon frowned, but said nothing. He stood, moving toward the black lump of fur that he'd left a few feet from the bed. Tali hadn't moved. He knelt and lifted the kitten, his expression neutral as he carried her toward his suitcase. He'd have to see if she could be repaired later. Now wasn't the time. Tali had been his first creation, and had been around longer than anything else. He'd worked on the mechanics of the cat until he was confident that he could recreate a hand for himself.
Tali was like the only piece of family he had. His true "family" wasn't anything to be proud of. Tali, though, was a gem. Gideon felt a bit of sorrow nip his mind, but he pushed it aside. She could be fixed. Still, as he set the furry creature in with his other belongings, he had to force himself to pull back.
"Andrew," he turned to the other couple, "we should check the hall." He didn't want the girls heading straight into danger. He wanted to have the men be the point, just in case something happened. Hopefully, if their luck stayed true, the sun would keep the worst of the events away.
Moving the dresser aside, Gideon carefully started to open the door. A few seconds later, he stepped out into the hall. Shattered glass from many vases and mirrors was scattered about. "Watch your step," he said over his shoulder, his gaze watchful for any other trouble.

Scarlett grinned at Alice. "I'm hungry too." She said, smiling as she watched the girl hug her brother. It was a heart warming sight to see Andrew finally opening up to someone. When Gideon picked up Tali Scarlett put her hand on his shoulder. "You'll fix her. And if you can't you'll always have me if you want me." She said, images of last night flitting into her mind. She then pushed the suitcase back under his bed and stood up. Once the boys were in the hall she went over to the hall closet, watching not to step on any glass. "I'll start cleaning this up." She said, opening the hall closet and taking out a broom and dust pan.
The blonde quickly sweeped all the glass in the hallway into one big pile and then scooped it up in a matter of minutes. She then went into Gideons bathroom and threw it all away. She quickly went back to the hallway. For some odd reason the rest of the house had not been touched. And all was quite. "Well come on, Alice." Scarlett smiled, going down the steps and towards the kitchen. "Yeah, I promise to try and not burn anything." Scarlett laughed, knowing that she wasn't the best cook in the world.. or really that good at all. She remembered how when she was younger she tried to make a frozen cheese pizza for Andrew and did everything exactly right on the box. But when she took it out of the oven it was black as night. Andrew had told her that once her husband saw her cooking, he'd leave her.
She made her way into the kitchen, peeking her head into the fridge and cabinets to see what they had. "Hmm. We could make some omelets!" She called up to Alice. "Ooh and bacon!" She said, smiling.
Andrew nodded, watching how his sister quickly cleaned the hallway. "Thanks Scar, but be careful." He said, then nodded to Gideon. "Yeah. Just once it starts storming we should probably head inside. I wouldn't want my girl getting worried." He joked, wrapping his arm around Alice. He of course knew she wasn't his girl. But that didn't mean she wasn't going to be. At her backwards hug he turned around, kissing her forehead. "Good. I was hoping you girls would do the womans work while us men did what obviously you can't.." He joked, giving her a quick kiss. "We'll be back as soon as lightning strikes. But if you get scared flash the lights a few times and we'll come back. If we don't come back quickly enough then hide." He said, releasing her from his grasp. The male went down the steps, glancing at everything around him.
"It's so..quiet." He said, running a hand through his blonde hair. The blonde could just barely hear the pitter patter of the rain outside. He glanced towards his sister in the kitchen. "Be careful Scar, and keep an eye on Alice for me." He said, watching her nod. He smiled. "Thanks." He said, heading towards the front door and peering out. He slipped on his leather jacket that had been on a hook by the door and looked to Gideon. "You'll be needing a jacket. It's pouring out there." He said, biting his bottom lip as he often did when he was nervous.

Gideon felt his heart warm when he heard Scarlett. "You'll always have me if you want me." The male turned to look at her, but she was already moving. That was when he stepped into the hallway. Everyone eyed the glass that Scarlett swiftly cleaned up. Gideon was sure to watch her as she went into the bathroom and returned, ensuring that nothing would happen to her.
"Your girl would get very worried," Alice said to Andrew, looping her own arm about the boy's waist. Kissing his chest, she looked up at him happily. "Both of us would have to find you in the rain and storm. Not very good." When she finally pulled away from the blonde, she headed toward the kitchen with Scarlett. "Bacon and omelets sounds like a good idea," Alice said, coming to stand next to Scarlett as she peered into the fridge. "I'll find some spices. My nanny made amazing omelets when I was little. Here's hoping I can sort of mimic what she did!" With a laugh, the golden-eyed girl headed for the cupboards above the counter. It took her a while, but eventually she pulled down a few containers. They were glass, and full of spices of various kinds. Unfortunately, she didn't know what they were.
Uncapping one, she carefully smelled it. "This is cinnamon. I don't think we'll need that on our eggs!" Swiftly lifting another, Alice began to sort the right spices from the wrong ones. It wasn't long before there was a group of things that they could use. "Which ones do you think we should use?" Alice held one out that had a stronger smell. "This one?" Cooking was going to be a blast. They would figure it out . . . as best they could, anyway.
When she heard Gideon, she laughed. "Don't worry, we'll be alright. We're together. That, and I'll be flashing the lights at the first sign of trouble." She winked, and then turned back to her spice-testing. "Do what you can. Don't take chances, alright?"
-
Gideon saw the rain, and he nodded when he heard Andrew's suggestion. "I'll be right back." He was definitely going to need a coat. When he got to his room, the male found his crimson jacket still draped over the mirror. Reaching up to pull it back, he felt the rough fabric against his single bare hand. Upon slipping it over his shoulders and adjusting it, Gideon's dark eyes flashed back to the glass before him. Is that a face?
For a moment it seemed as though someone was staring out from the mirror, studying his every detail. With a frown, Gideon reached forward to touch the surface, relieved when his reflection did the same. "Just being silly," he muttered, though he couldn't shake the feeling of being studied.
As he turned to leave, he shuddered. The sooner they left, the better. What he didn't see was the smile that spread over his reflection's face after he'd left the room. A mirror image of Gideon remained on the glassy surface, inspecting itself for a few moments before chuckling and disappearing into the darkness once more.
"We'll be quick," Gideon called over his shoulder as he rejoined Andrew. With a grim smile, he stepped out onto the porch. The rain was light, but it was still falling. They needed to get started if they were to find anything. Though he had no hood, Gideon didn't seem to mind. "Start at the front gate?" he suggested, looking to Andrew for a moment.
Despite his earlier opinion of the male, he found that Scarlett's brother was quite agreeable. Perhaps they would get along just fine.
((Okay, I have to say it: Andrew's comment about needing a coat helped Troy fit back into the story nicely.))

((I'm starting to hate texas > . < I've been here for twenty days and about an hour ago I got a call saying that my 'certain someone'(not technically in a relationship, but in a relationship lol if that makes sense?) got in a car crash and is temporarily blind in one eye and has to have a cornea transplant. But I won't be coming home for another nine days ): This sucks.))
Scarlett waved by to Gideon and her brother, then laughed at Alice's words. "Let's hope. Andrew once told me that if I ever cooked for my husband, my husband would leave me." She grinned. She smelled the glass of spice that Alice put to her nose. "Yeah, we can use that." She said, getting a skillet and then a pan for the bacon and sitting it on the stove.
The blonde started to put the bacon on the pan. "So, you and Andrew seem to be getting cozy.." She said, smiling. "It's nice to see him actually warming up to someone. He hasn't had a girlfriend in a long time." She admitted. Andrew had only had drunken one night stands ever since their mother died. Never a serious girlfriend.
Andrew smiled and waved to Alice. "We'll be back before you know it." He said, then opened the door, stepping out. "Yeah, I think we should start at the front gate, and make our way around the whole property to look for some hole in the gate, or some way to crawl under it without digging. The grounds too muddy to dig." He said, shutting the door behind them. He started to walk out into the rain. "Listen.. I really appreciate that your being so great to my sister. She hasn't had a decent man in her life as long as shes been alive." He said, looking to the ground. "And I have to admit, your a nice guy." He said, smirking. "And you have a future unlike the last guy she dated.." He said, looking up towards the front gate. It was about a mile away.

((Oh no!! Aw, deary! I'm so sorry!! I'm praying for you and your friend.))
"Your cooking can't be that bad!" With a laugh, Alice turned on the burner for her side of the stove. "We can try to make something together. I'm not very good with food, either." When Scarlett started talking, she blushed a bit.
"Cozy?" Alice looked shocked, but it turned into a grin. "I suppose it's time for him to get serious then, isn't it?" She laughed. "It's too bad. You both must have had a hard time after your mother died." With a frown, she started cracking eggs for the omelets. "I'm sorry."
"Do you think he'd ever consider being serious?"
-
"A well-appreciated compliment," Gideon bowed his head for a moment. When he looked back toward the gate, he smiled a bit. "Scarlett is . . . different. I hope to be different from all that she's known." He knew she'd been hurt too many times to count. He didn't plan on harming this girl.
"I appreciate what you think of me," he said slowly, "though I wouldn't start thinking too highly of me. I may not meet everyone's expectations." Little did he know he already had.
They finally reached the gate, and after checking the latches and bars it was soon apparent that they hadn't missed anything the previous evening. It was locked and sealed, and far too high to climb. Looking around, he started to search for alternate ways out. This was going to take a while. "I don't see anything here."
