He saw him and was sure it was. He nodded. "Once you give me your answer he won't take you until he's killed me fairly. I did plan on waiting to ask you at least until you got settled into the house but I hope you don't mind this also being used to save you from him." he said quietly so only she could hear him.

He smiled. "I'm glad, I wish I could have done that more smoothly, but I'm happy you said yes either way." he said. "We can out run him, vampires can't enter other vampire's lairs as long as they don't have a blood bond to them." he whispered to her. "What do you think?"

He smiled back at her. "Just watch this." he said and he picked her up in his arms and ran at his full vampiric speed only being a blur until he reached his house. He shut the door and looked at her. "What did you think of that?"

"Good question, they are sure to watch my house now." he said. We can call up a vampire elder, if one of them watches our joining then it will be official and there will be nothing that that guy can do to take you from me without getting the elders involved." he said.

((Vampire elders you mean?))

"The vampire elders are a group of the eldest of our kind and they make sure that we keep to the rules and nothing of any funny business happens amongst us, which taking another's wife and mate would fall under, and since you agreed they will over see the event and then make sure that the vampire that wants you knows that he is in no way to take you, or try and kill me to get you." he explained.

He looked at her and smiled. "I know, and I love you, I really do." he said. He walked with her to the living room where the fire was still going but needed more wood, he put more on and sat down on the love seat.

"Yes, they don't look into how the vampire was made usually and they just come to see the event, they don't ask questions." he said. "They don't like to get into other's love lives."

He lifted her hand showing her the ring on her hand. "I've asked you in the forest, or would you like it done in a more romantic way?" he asked her.

He smiled and kissed her. "I can do that." he said. He gently moved her onto the love seat then got up and went to get a bottle of fine'y aged wine and two wine glasses and put those onto the coffee table infront of the love seat. Then he grabed a thing of vampire snacks he kept. It was a pastry with virgin's blood in it. He placed tha on the table and opened the top so she could see the pastries. "Would a rare vampire snack and wine do the trick?" he asked her.

"I love you too." he said and picked up one of the pastries and pressed it to her lips after she sipped the wine. "Try one, they are very good." he said.

he kissed her back. "Yeah, the secret is virgin's blood, it is especially good to vampires, but is hard to find, that's why this snack is so rare." he said. He smiled and took another one and bit into it. "I'm glad I can share these with you though." he said.

"When I bit you, I put the intent to change you, and the venom in my teeth entered into your blood stream and just spread until you turned basically." he said.

He hugged her back and sat back in the love seat. "I love you too." he said. He watched as the light from the fire made her face look exquisit, even with the normal lights on low, that helped the effect.
