Livianna wabbled in the sand a little when she was turned. "Whoa!" When Nathaniel resumed his spot next to her she sighed and just started obsorbing information. "Interesting!" Was all she said until the end. "Why them? Are they mean? Snake and bird deamons I presume, please correct me if I'm wrong. Which I hope I am. I forget why your hated...is my race hated too? I'd imagine they are considering how evil the two I met and..." Her eyes adverted to the horizon as she picked up her pace a little. "I think its going to be fun in Cairo. Do you think they'll have ice cream? I am really in the mood of icecream. Do you think any of your family will be able to help me with all this....tracker stuff?" She started bursting out questions again. It got her mind off the two things she hated thinking about. "Do you think our siblings will come after us? Nickoli is going to be pissed I think...you better watch your head. He aims there first. Do I have to worry about Lizzie? I think she'll be more understanding. Unless she is possessive. Which could be a problem." Stopping in her tracks Livianna started laughing some. "I'm babbling like a crazed baboon." Her face was lit up and and her hand slipped away from Nathaniel as she gripped her side. "I appologies my head to mouth filter is not working. I am just speaking whatever comes to mind. WHOO! Spaz moment." Giggling a little harder the red head tried to pull herself together.


Nickoli shook his head. "Is there anyone in this family that hasn't been treated so poorly?" He asked softly running his hand down her back. "Lazy days? I don't believe in them. Supposidly Liv has them but not when I was around and I'm around all the time..." The end of his sentince slowed to a stop. "Well I was anyway." He corrected before grinning when she stole a kiss. "Theif." He joked lightly kissing her softly and shaking his head as she washed his chest. It was like she was polishing her favorite piece of silver. When the soap and her hand it a spot in his side he squirmed a little. "THats ticklish." He said holding back a laugh but taking the soap and starting to wash her up instead.

Nathaniel chuckled as more questions came. He should just expect such things from Livianna. They were cute. "You're slightly right. Both the two races descend from the gods of this country. The son of Osiris who was not the favored son was never worshiped, and the daughter of Isis worshiped the two gods of balance. The son of Osiris obtained a power of beauty, and in demanding the woman worship him, she seduced him and he granted her the eternal power of beauty. She was turned into a cobra, and so was the rest of her group. When her male mate died, her right hand dancer who was the crystal snake bore her an heir, and so the cobra line started. Serpentine are three types. Cobra, which is the royal blood line, crystalline, and diamond back. They have human forms that is their first form, but in less time that it takes to blink they can morf into their snake forms. Everything they do is with the fluidness of a snake and the grace of the greatest dancer. They are all quite pale, except for the few the are brave enough to venture a lot in the hot sun. They burn very easy." He explained and then chuckled to himself. "I know the King cobra personally, his name is Osiris and I think he will love to meet you. Though fair warning, snakes are very emotional creatures. They show all emotion and affections. It can be a bit of whip lash sometimes." Nathaniel explained and then smiled down at her. Hearing her other questions he nodded. "The only ones who hate you are the Falcons, the most elite avians. They are descendants of the goddess of air her daughter had prayed to protect her people from the air to keep the invaders coming towards Cairo away, and so she was granted the form of a falcon, as well as her family line. There are then eagles and swallows that you will see through out the city. All avians are built strong and unmoveable. They are the guardians of the city, but they are much more accepting then the falcons. Falcons hate all those who are not pure bloods, but will show you respect as long as you show them respect. They are very hardly seen since they are always in their temples. Beig over six foot three and gorgeously tanned like they are, all avians draw the eyes of people. " he said and then chuckled. "Though since Osiris chose the royal eagle Iris to be his Naga, the peace between the races has been what has caused even more people to live there. The prosperity levels are off the charts!" He said and then laughed after motioning a huge swipe of his hands. Looking at Liv as she giggled and got a hold of herself, he grinned. "The aunt I have Ebony, would be your best bet with the hunter training. Ebony is the head warriors as of her entire people. She has trained with almost every race, including falcons, which is unheard of. She even has killed two trackers to keep her people safe before she met my uncle. So if anyone knows anything about you it's her. Oh another warning, her skin and look is... Extremely different. Her skin is literally a deep purple and her hair is like a blue twilight. Her lips are also a blue and her eyes are a piercing gold. She also has white tribal tattoos that accentuate every part of her body, and they have golden accents. She's... Like nothing I've seen before." He said unable to explain her. It was something Livianna would have to understand when she saw the woman. "And yes, there is a wonderful ice cream shop owned by a fairy named Luke. H has to have the best flavores in the world." He said and then got a bit more serious. He had the sibling thing covered. "I left a letter for Liz, and she understands the situation. You have to remember, she was the one who removed herself from her own family and aisles me away to save mine. I think she will know why we left. Plus no offense to Nick but he isn't strong enough or fast enough to get past her if he tried. She will keep him in line." He teased and winked at the lover he thought he would never get. "Any more questions beautiful?" Nathaniel asked and brushed her hair behind he ear.

Lizzi laughed hearing Nickoli and let him take the soap away. Sighing happily she then smirked and watched him. "They way you use your hands is just amazing." She purred, knowing exactly what she was saying. It seemed that the wait she had for Nickoli was going to be a lot harder then she had first realized. Why had she fallen for such a tease? Pressing her body against his slowly, letting their forms melt together she kissed him slowly. Oh yeah, she remembered why now.

Livianna stood there listening with wide eyes. "Why do the falcons not like me?" She asked softly not liking the sound of that. Sighing deeply she just stretched. "I can't wait to meet them. All of them. Though honestly I'm terrified of meeting someone who's killed two of my kind. Though to be fair I have too." She paused and sighed. "As long as she likes me I'll be ok." Her voice was smothered in decision. Smiling she shook her head. "No more questions." She took his hand and walking again. Liv smiled softly. "The snake people sound pretty." Liv added softly.


Nickoli wrapped his arms around her as she kissed him. He smiled some and pulled away. He finished cleaning up and hopped out of the shower not wanting to prune. "Come on baby lets go find our siblings." He said drying off and wrapping a towel around his waist and waited for Lizzie before heading towards his room to get dressed.

Nathaniel smiled softly and nodded as Liv restated what he had abou falcons. "They are purest pure bloods known, they look down on anyone less then them. So half breeds like ourselves are something they hate. But don't worry, like I said its probably not even possible to meet one while there." He said reassuringly and kept on walking with Liv. Smiling as she seemed to come to terms with everything he chuckled. "Ebony will love you I'm sure. She is a very peaceful person at heart." the tanned shapeshifter said in a soft tone as they kept walking. Stopping as he came onto the fine with her he pointed to the river they could see in the far off distance and the city around it in an almost perfect circled area. "That's Cairo."

Lizzi smiled and giggled as they got out. Taking a towel she rubbed herself down and followed Nickoli out into the room. Grabbing herself black lace thing and bra she pulled those on and then pulled on short shorts with cuts and looking rugged. Then she pulled on a tank that showed her stomach and was extremely low cut. Brushing out her hair she smiled at Nickoli after finishing getting dressed. "I'm ready when you are handsome."

Livianna smiled some as she looked out and saw Cairo. The excitment overwhelmed her and she almost squeeled. "OH my god I never thought I'd be in Egypt let alone seeing Cairo. Now I get to see it in a whole new way its so exciting!" Bottling up her excitment she squeezed Nathaniel's hand softly. "Sorry a little excited." She said with a soft blush. Liv got an idea and grinned. "I want to try something." She said softly. Letting go of his hand she took a pose as if she was going to jump. "I'll race you!" Her voice beckond, him to join her. Taking off forward a little before jumping way up. It was something she had been working on a little in private, it was something that she had used when going to save Lizzie. Landing quiet a few yards away she grinned.

Nickoli pulled on a pair of boxers and cargo pants. He looked over and didn't bother to put on a shirt. "Fantastic I am as well." He said with a grin as he dashed over and picked her up flinging her over his shoulder. "Any idea where those two would be?" Nickoli questioned as he playfully smacked Lizzie in the butt.

Nathaniel buckled as Liv's eyes grew to the size of tennis balls as they looked upon the city. Watching as she looked like she would jump, he raised an eyebrow at her. Watching her he grinned and transformed into an eagle and let out a cry as he spread his wings and took off into the air. Grinning as he kept his bag in his tallins he flew by her side as she kept going. Both heading swiftly towards the town. With his Inhanced sight he saw the beautiful city growing closer with every wing beat. It would be so much fun to see his family again, to see the palace. But the best part would be seeing Livianna's reaction to everything.

Liz's boots where finally pulled on when she was suddenly picked up. Crying out in surprise as she was thrown over Nickoli's shoulder she laughed. "Nickoli!" She cried and squirmed, trying to get away. "Put me down you silly boy!" She laughed, trying to keep herself up and her face out of his back. "You silly wolf! Come on put me down!" She giggled and the twins laughed as they saw them. "It's a shapes hitting back pack!" Kamun said teasingly and Amun laughed loudly. "It comes in either the hot blonde or the annoying blonde."Amun added and Lizzie swiped at them still on Nickoli's back and they nearly fell avoiding the ponch. "Don't make me beat you two up!" She called teasingly as they laughed all the more.

Livianna grinned. Landing on a the side of a sand dune she slipped lossing her footing and landing on her butt. Laughing histarically she got up and tried to outrun Nate's flying. She was almost as fast on foot. Taking off on the next dune she arched her back as she started going back down. It felt amazing, like she was flying. Doing a full flip she landed on her feet. Grinning she ran forward again using the combination to keep up with Nathaniel. "Whoo!" She cried enjoying herself quiet a lot. This was great fun.

Nickoli laughed as the twins ducked out of their sister's reach. "I got the combo deal. Sexy for me annoying to you. Its the best hybrid pack ever!" He joked as he took to the stairs and worked his way out of the house grinning at the members of the pack. "Going back to my caveman instincs." He joked as he headed towrads the door. "Oo, ah, ah" He pounded on his chest playfully with his free hand.

Nathaniel laughed and circled above Liv as she fell on her butt, what a cute moment. Flying on again as she regained her footing he gave a cry again and grinned widely as she flipped. Landing lightly and with a grace only she held he chuckled. Seeing her so proud of herself he spotted snakes ahead of them. Not just any snakes either. Serpentine. Grinning he transformed and landed in his human form after pushing ahead to stop I front of them. The huge black cobra looked like it would strike, but a the last second the snake shifted into a pale man who laughed and hugged Nathaniel. "Nat! What a wonderful surprise!" The male said and the other two crystal snakes transformed. Their blonde hair light and bleached like their skin. "Osiris, I want you to meet Livianna." Nathaniel said and the males turned to face Livianna. Those liquid ruby eyes landed on Livianna and a gang joked smile came to the king as he brushed his shaggy black hair from his eyes. Approaching Nathaniel took Liv's hand and then stood infront of the pale man looking no older then Nathaniel. "Livianna this Osiris Cobrata, King of the serpentine. Osiris this is Livianna, my Naga." The shapeshifter said and the black haired male looked at them surprised for a moment before moving swiftly and hugging Liv. "Thank the gods that be. I never thought Nathaniel would find a Naga." He said and the guards seemed to smile at them. Nathaniel blushed and looked to Liv. What luck, running into the very friend he wanted to see.

Lizzie blushed as the twins fell over laughing from Nickoli's joke. Squirming and laughing she smacke his back with her fist a bit. "Nickoli you silly wolf put me down!" She cried and blushed more as the rest of the pack watched laughing and teased them as they headed outside. "Tarzan put Jane down! Now!" She scolded lightly in a teasing manner.

Livianna had skidded to a hault as she came upon the group. She was stunned. Nathaniel wasn't kidding when he said they were very pale people. They were almost lighter than herself. As she was introduced by Nathaniel she gave a slight bow, which accounted for the slight squeal in surprise as she was hugged. Not sure what to do she gently patted Osiris's back. "Apparently your not alone." She said softly remembering Nathaniel's family's reaction to her. The red head smiled some before looking at Nathaniel and smirking at his blush. He could be so bashful about whatever this was between them. She wasn't sure what a Naga was but she figured it was the equivlant to a mate. She wasn't totally sure she wanted to be considered that. It was probably her human side screaming out in frustration that she was more than a sexual partner. Smiling again she looked at Osiris her brain was back on the here and now. "Nathaniel was just telling me about you. It is an honor to meet you in person. Your quiet an elegant race aren't you?" She questioned aloud as she tilted her head as if examining the guards and king. "Fast, graceful, balanced. I find myself quiet jealous of such a being. Nathaniel when you described the Serpentine you did not do them justice." She informed her "naga" mentally not wanting to appear to forward infront of the people infront of them. Her eyes simply remained on them, she liked snakes, always had, now these creatures made her jealous but she found herself quite fond of them already. A since of ease was in the area. Most people she knew hated snakes and she figured they would feel highly uncomfortable around these three but she liked them.


Nickoli laughed deeply before going outside and putting her down under a tree across the yard. "Tarzan likes Jane. Doesn't want to let her go." He said pounding his chest lightly before kissing her playfully on the nose. "So Jane, any idea on where they are? I can't feel Livianna anywhere." He informed her cheerfully.

Osiris smiled widely hearing her and then chuckled. "It's just the way our people are, I'm greatful for the compliment." He said and Nathaniel smiled widely looking down at Livianna. "Malik, Kalik. Please come say hello to Nathaniel. He hasn't seen you in years. You don't have to act like you're guards all the time." The black haired male said with warmth and the two twins ran over and hugged Nathaniel, who laughed and hugged them back and chuckled as they brushed up against him a bit. Snakes liked warmth and being friends they always stayed close enough that they were brushing friends. "You have to excuse my words considering you are Nathaniel's Naga, but I mus say you are the most beautiful hybrid I ever have seen. Well except for Lizzi, but that's another story for another time." He said and looked to Nathaniel who was chuckling softly. "Shall we escort you two to the city? The sun is a bit annoying." Osiris said and Nathaniel nodded. "That would be nice."

Liz shook her head and blushed after Nickoli kissed her nose. "You're so embarrassing sometimes." She said and then looked around. "They are probably at the hut. It's in the back of the oasis. Not the path we took, but the other one." She explained and stood up. Walking towards the beautiful back hard of the house she followed the stone path until the fork and walked down the right path this time. Humming she stopped seeing the hut and pointed to it. "Right there."

Livianna giggled some as the two ran over and practically tackled Nathaniel. She looked up at Osiris and blushed lightly. "Thank you, you're quite kind." She said softly before looking at Nathaniel as he accepted the invitation. Her head turned to Osiris when he talked again and she nodded in agreement. She could relate being so fair skined as well. The sun made her skin feel itchy and dry she could only imagine how they felt. "That would be wonderful thank you." Smiling at Nathaniel her excitement to see Cairo was only growing these people where kind to her. She remembered how the pack reacted after she got back, everyone was always on edge. They played nice but gave her a good berth. "I am very excited to see the city." Her voice held a level of respect and humbleness she had only had before everything happened, when Nathaniel ran into her on the path. Placing her hand in Nate's she smiled at him before motioning for them to lead the way.

Nickoli grinned and sighed. "If I was any different you wouldn't love me so much." He explained with a laugh before following her. He started getting a little edgy when he didn't pick up Livianna's very distinct aura and he could see the hut. Shrugging he just walked passed Lizzie and opened the door hoping to surprise them. "HEY lov-" Stopping mid sentence he looked around. Oh they had been there he could smell it but, well they weren't there anymore. All that was there was a neat little envelope with Lizzie's name on it.

Osiris nodded and then the two guards shifted into their massive snake forms with ease and Nathaniel threaded his fingers between Livianna's as he felt her hand touch his. "I am glad, the city is beautiful." the king cobra said and shifted into his black snake form, almost two times bigger then the crystaline snakes who were ready to move. "Don't worry we can keep up." Nathaniel said and a chuckling hiss came from Osiris. "Considering what both of you are, I had no doubts." he said and suddenly they were off, slithering across the sand at an extremely fast pace. Nathniel grinned and squeezed Liv's hand, knowing this next strech of run would be exillerating, expecially is Osiris started showing off, he always did that infront of girls.

Liz followed Nickoli but when his words broke off her giggles ceased and she frowned. Stepping inside, she knew they had been in there, that she could tell without the sharp sense of smell. Looking at the letter with her name on it, she smiled bravely. "Relax Nickoli they probably went to the city for a date or something, Nat is romantic like that." she said reasuringly and picked up the letter. Pulling out the insides of the envelope the blonde began reading the letter, her hands clutching the paper a little more in anger in surprise as she kept reading. When she was finished she slowly folded the letter back up, her emotions going nuts but her body and face kept calm. What was she supposed to tell Nickoli to keep him calm?

Livianna grinned seeing the new forms their company took. She really loved snakes. Looking at Nathaneil she squeezed his hand out of excitement. "I wonder if I can out run them." Her eyes were wide before she moved her bag so it didn't slipp off and let go of his hand. Counting back form ten she took off in a sprint it was much faster than any human could run but it got her to about the same pace as the snaks. Their size helped them get farther than she could with her two legs. Her blue eyes became hazel as she used more of her tracker side. As long as they didn't turn red or amber she knew she could control it. It was a fun way to train though. Expecting Nathaniel to go back into his bird form she looked towards the sky as she took a deep breath and launched herself forward with another jump. Looking down she watched the snakes propel themselves much faster than she could but the view of them doing it was so spectacular she was disappointed a little as she curved backwords to land in another flip. It was her favorite way to do it now that she had figured out how.

Nickoli looked over at Lizzie, he could feel her anger but he didn't recognize it. She had only been mad maybe twice since he'd been with her. "Baby what is it?" He asked walking over to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. Was it just him or did she feel warmer than usual. "Let me see." His hand slowly went for the letter, he figured she would of said something coy by this point if it was just a trip to the city.

Nathaniel grinned as Livianna adjusted her backpack and then took off,matching the speed of the snakes. Transforming into an eagle again he flew swiftly with grace as he looked down upon his friends. Laughing as Livianna took a bound and flipped in the air, he knew the cobra wouldn't be able to resist showing off now. The black serpent suddenly coiled and sprung vaulting forward in a beautifully graceful twirl and landed still keeping up the pace. Screeching in approval Nathaniel grinned to himself as the two guards playfully joined in. As they kept moving they kept leaping and flipping over each other as every time Osiris could he coiled and sprung further into the air and preformed more dazzling tricks, causing all of their laughter to ring through the sands. It was an amazing feeling to be so free with friends. Seeing another form coming towards them Nathaniel screeched and Osiris looked up and shot off, as the massive golden eagle glimmered towards them. Her beauty shown like the sun and when the cobra sprung again and flipped in the air, the eagle caught him and tossed him even higher, and he kept flipping and twisting as he fell, but the golden eagle caught him lovingly and the serpent was off again on the sand heading home. Brushing wings with his friend, Nathaniel smiled widely. He had been wondering how long it would take Osiris's Naga to find him. He didn't usually go anywhere without her.

Liz heard Nickoli and held her breathe as he seemed to see through her. Knowing that she shouldn't show him because of Nathaniel's warning she stepped away and put the letter in her pocket. "They left. It's to keep the family safe, expecialoy the newborn. They don't know where they are going, but Nathaniel reassures me that they will visit and keep sending letters. If they can they will call, though out here there is horrible reception." She said softly and then hugged him gently not knowing what to expect of his reaction. How would he handle loosing his sister?

Livianna looked up seeing the eagle she stopped in her tracks. She didn't know why but the figure struck fear into her. It was a gorgous creature but one she instinctually knew to be weary of. Nathaniel's warning startled her a little too. It didn't take long before she noticed Nathaniel rub wings, this must of been Osiris's Naga and if that was true she was fine. Grinning again she waved before taking off to catch up. Once she was close enough not to get lost she steadied her pace and looked up as the city got closer. She could feel the magic in the air. It was almost intoxicating, taking in a deep breath she felt as if her feet were lighter and she could fly if she wanted. It was magnificant! The moment didn't last long though, the closer to Cairo they got the dizzier Livianna felt. Memories from each hunter started trying to push their way to the surface, her eyes were already bright green but an amber color was trying to fight its way up. Pushing it back for now she continued with the fun little run they were having.


Nickoli looked and Lizzie and felt his body tighten. Shivers and shakes ran through his body as the anger boiled up towards his head. Forcing himself not to change into an angry wolf he let out a growl. "Just like that, no good bye, no I'll miss you just gone with the wind." His voice was sharp. "Letters and calls?" His hair stood up on end as he pushed down the urge to change. An angry half laugh left his throat. Feeling Lizzie wrap her arms around him lightly he placed his hands on her hips and gently pushed her back. He'd be damned if that scrawny little shapeshifter was taking his sister anywhere. Why would she leave? Looking around he couldn't see any other notes. Nothing appsolutly nothing. Walking out of the hut he slamed the door behind him and headed towards the house. Since they were children they had this bond that made them inseperable. They took care of each other. When they got here...Nickoli got a pained expression. His feelings mixed, anger, sadness, guilt they were all infecting him like a disease. He wasn't going after them not yet. Going into the house he passed the pack with a blank look on his face as he went up, not to his room but where Livianna was staying. Opening the door he looked around, she left her stuff everything. Shutting the door behind him he sat down on the mat she'd been sleeping on before Nathaniel had taken her away from the house. Reaching into a box he pulled out Livianna's favorite bear, she never left him, not since she was a child. It was the only thing she had from her biological family. "Liv...this isn't fare." He whispered to himself. At this point he just didn't want to be around anyone. Looking over he saw two pieces of paper on an endtable. Walking over Nickoli looked them over, one was to Nathaniel the other was addressed to him. Picking them up he read them both over. Nathaniel must have caught her before she left. His chest felt like it was going to stop. She didn't say anything about writing or keeping in touch. She had just wished Nickoli luck with his family. Folding the paper he looked out the window searching the sands beyond the oasis.

Nathaniel kept an eye on Livianna as they kept up the fun pace. Knowing that she didn't take the new eagles arrival as easy as the snakes he would have to keep close to her. The avians were quite a bunch of amazing and intimidating creatures, that was for sure. Soon enough the snakes slowed down as the city limits enveloped everyone. Stopping at the gate, the snakes transformed and both Nathaniel and the eagle landed. Transforming they both approached the group with smiles. Nathaniel and the woman were the same height, though the woman was something that of whichpeople called art. Her eyes were a liquid gold, her hair that of poilished copper and gold, and the brown and white featers in her hair gave a look that screamed an anchient power. Smiling at her mate the woman was hugged tightly by the King cobra in his human form and kissed him gently. Keeping her arm around his waist she sighed and rested her head against his shoulder. "Livianna, this is Iris, my Naga." Osiris said proudly and Nathaniel walked over to Liv and took her hand in his. "It's very nice to meet you. Are you Nathaniel's Naga?" the woman asked softly, her eyes alight with a mild curiousity.

Liz frowned as he felt Nickoli push her away by her hips. Looking up at him, she didn't know what to say. How could she explain that they needed to leave to save them? She hereself would have to leave soon as well, so the hunters didn't find the pack's home while looking to kill her. Like those two she had made the sacrifice to leave everything without saying goodbye to protect them. It was the only real option sometimes. Following her love out of the hut she flinched as he slammed the door and then tried catching up to him to comfort him, but he just brushed past and headed into the house. She was stopped by Dustan and when she could no longer see Nickoli's back she felt a tear run down her cheek. Loosing her brother for the first time really hurt, and cut her deeply as she looked at them all. explaining quietly what had happened, everyone looked extremely sad, but as Liz looked at the beautiful baby girl in Yuki's arms the new mother smiled braely. "We are Nataliana. Adio and I decided she should be named after the protectors of this family." she said rpoudly and the mood seemed lightened. Even if their family had left them, their spirits and hearts resided in the new little one that was a blessing to all. "Its a beautiful name Yuki. I couldn't have picked a better one myself." Lizzie said with a smile.

Livianna smiled at the woman, in this form she sure wasn't as intemidating. Feeling Nathaniel grab her hand she looked over at him. Her eyes ever shifting. "Yes, I am. It is an honor to meet you." She bowed lightly feeling dizzy again. More so than before. Touching her head lightly she smiled trying to brush it off. "Forgive me I'm not in full control yet, this is all very new to me. I may have over done myself." Her voice was sweet, humble, respectful. Leaning on Nathaniel a little she looked past Iris and Osiris which was harder to do. Her eyes looked in towards the city listening to the hustel and bustel of the people beyond. "Its so lively here!" She stated with a gleeful tone.


Nickoli closed his eyes. How was it that he managed to be fine with shoving Livianna out of the way until she was gone? Acting like she wasn't there is what he'd been doing for weeks now. Since she was gone now though...why Nathaniel? He couldn't wrap his mind around that. Physically he wasn't like anyone else she'd ever dated. He tend to cower and cry more than stand up for himself. Rubbing his head he was very confussed. His sister like the tall, big bulky, barell chested, guys. Honestly he didn't get it, but he wasn't leaving his sisters safety to Nathaniel. It wasn't happening. Folding his and Nathaniel's letters and sticking them in a pocket in his pants, Nick grabbed his sister's gift from her parents, then went to his room. The bear was the first thing that went into his bag. He'd be damned...shoving a few pairs of clothes in Nickoli stopped. He didn't even know which way they went. Or where they would of started off to. Throwing the bag down he sat against his bed.

Nathaniel smiled reassuringly at Livianna and then Osiris grinned. "Once you drink the water from the spring you will be fine. The magic in the water usually helps." He explained lightly and Iris nodded. "Yes that and some rest. This heat is never good for pales ones as yourself." she said and then beckoned for them to walk. "Don't worry little one, just keep calm and enjoy the senses." Osiris said lightly and they began walking through the streets, mingling with the crowds. Everyone around them seemed to be a different race and color. Many beautiful temples and structures stood amoung the city. But the two biggest were on the north and south. Hey were heading towards the south. Looking at Liv he spoke in her ear. "That's the serpentine palace."

Liz moved upstairs knowing she had to speak with Nickoli. She had seen the signs of Nat and Liv growing closer together. They were the same way, both loners, both strong on their own, and both needing someone to confide in. Being able to connect with the one person who you felt like you could trust whole heartedly, Lizzi knew the feeling. Walking up to the door she knocked on the frame as she looked in on the man she had fallen in love with. "Hey stranger." She said lightly and then noticed the packed bag. Frowinginf she wasn't exactly sure what to say.

Livianna smiled some at their reassuring words. Following them into the street Liv tried to take everything in. She looked around like a child and stared when she found something she liked. Not noticing where she was going till Nathaniel whispered in her ear. It tickled a little but she smiled as she looked forward. Nodding in understanding she looked at Nathaniel and squeezed his hand before continuing to look around. The colors, noises, people, everything was so different here. All she had seen of egypt was the little nook around the wolves territory. This was like nothing she had ever seen before. Her head was spinning as different memories flashed forward as places familiar to Isis were passed. An alley here or a shady place there. Honestly it was crazy. Livianna knew all the places not to wander into now.

Nickoli looked up and saw Lizzie. "I was going to chase after them. I don't even know when they left." He said a slight sniffle coming from him. He was angry but more heart broken that Livianna left. "She didn't even plan on leaving with Nathaniel. She wrote him a letter too." He stood pulling the letters out and tossing them on the table near his bed. "Heh, she wasn't going to take anyone with her. She didn't want us to follow, she made no promises of visiting or writing. No, not little Liv. She said that she was happy I finally found a place that I belonged, that she wasn't going to jepredise it, and she was finally going to get out of the way. I made her feel like she was in the way, what kind of brother does that?" He asked before laughing some. "She even asked that I try to stop Nathaniel from going after her. Saying that we are safer in a group. He had to have convinced her out of it because that letter over there begs him not to follow her. She is scared of everything going on and didn't want him hurt." Nickoli said pointing to the papers. Looking at Lizzie he shook his head as he leaned against the bed. Running a hand through his hair closed his eyes. "Can we try that hug again?" He asked softly needing one and he was pretty sure she needed one too.

Nathaniel followed their guides with Livianna by his side. So many thing to see and show her later, and he took note of what she really seemed to find an intrest in. Soon they were entering the palace and their hosts brought them into the entrance hall and through the sides. Soon they were in a warm feel space with pillows and rugs to sit opon to enjoy time. "Please grab us water and fruit. Some for everyone." Osiris said to the maid and then watched as she left. Sitting down the couple smiled at the hybrids and took a seat on the pillows, Iris leaning against her mate. "I'm surprised Liz is not with you Nathaniel. But it's a good change of pace to see you with your own woman." She said and Nat chuckled sitting down as well. "I do agree the change of pace is nice." He agreed.

Liz felt tears stinging her eyes as she heard Nick's words. Walking over to him, she nodded as he asked for a hug. Sittit on the edge of the bed she pulled him into her arms and held him tightly. Running a hand through his hair to comfort him, the blonde female then pulled away and kissed his cheek, whiping away his tears with her thumbs before they could fall. "We are human by nature, we make mistakes... I know it isn't ideal or even fare... But they are doing this for us. You need to be trained and so does Liv. Which means you will have to be apart for awail, but when you're ready, you will see each other again. Call it a hunch." Liz said trying to put a little bit of positive humor in on her words. Smiling gently she looked into his eyes and kissed his forehead.

Livianna smiled softly as they walked into the palace. She didn't say much just walked quietly taking everything in. When they entered the one room she looked around and watched the maid leave mildly curious to the situation. Then again Osiris was a king in a since. Looking at them as they sat down she gave a small bow before seating herself next to Nathaniel. This area was new to her, nothing about it felt familiar and that made her even happier. Smiling softly she sat straight as the conversation continued. Liv was more observing at this point. Not sure of the customs or expectations of anyone here, except Nathaniel of course. Placing her back gently on the floor behind her Livianna adverted her once again stormy blue eyes towards her lap. Which only made her eyes advert to the cushions and rugs which were brightly colored. IT was like a horrible case of ADD. Her attention was now focused on the different patterns of each pillow and rug. Trying to find two that matched.


Nickoli closed his eyes and held Lizzie for as long as she allowed. "Heh, if we were all still humans things would be much simpler." He said softly before smiling a little at her hunch. "I love you Lizzie. I hate this situation, but I don't regret opening the door." Nick said referring to the first time they met. After her lips left his forehead he kissed her lips gently. Sighing deeply he got up and grabbed the bag off the floor. Pulling his clothes out and Livianna's bear he put the bag back under his bed and his stuff away. It wasn't time for them to leave. "I would take off my jacket and stay awhile but..." He joked lightly motioning to his bare chest. He wanted to lighten the mood get his mind off it. IF he thought about it any more he would leave with out the damn bag. Lizzie was right though and he didn't want to do really, much of anything, without her.

Nathaniel smiled as Livianna laid back and got comfortable. A comfortable silence weighed on them as they enjoyed the wonderful room. The mossaic in glass and jewles were everywhere on the walls and floors, dipicting the serpentine myth of creation. Seeing Liv's curiousness to everything made Osiris grin. He was proud of his people, and even more proud of the peace he had created with his Naga. Knowing that the prosperity of this city flurished even more because of the alliance between the races. "Osiris likes one of a kind things. Nothing in this room has a twin, but all the pillows rugs and blankets have similar origins. Every year on the birthday of the King Cobra the best artisans in all the city give him a gift. And every time Osiris donates the jewles to the mosaics or the rugs and pillows to the palace. Though all the things that don't have a match to in this room." Iris explained lightly and the maid returned. The blonde beauty set the tray out with glasses of water and a platter of rip rich looking fruit. "Anything else?" She asked lightly and Osiris sat up and shook his head. "No, you have done beautifully. Please inform my mother of my arrival. I'm sure my sister would love to see me, and our new guests." He said and the young girl was off again. Nathaniel smiled and reached out for a glass and handed it to Liv. "This water tastes amazing."

Liz smiled gently hearif Nickoli and then accepted his kiss. Kissing back with a loving passion she allowed him to pull away even when she didn't want him too. When he put everything away, she helped a bit and then laughed hearing his jacket comment. "Ohh I will take care of that for you." She said teasingly and walked over. Running her hands for the waist of his shorts and up his chest slowly, she enjoyed the muscles beneath her touch. With simple grace she pushed the jacket off his shoulders and arms, running her hands down his arms as well. He was 100% sexy beast, that was for sure. "If I hadn't proven that it was the best decision on your life yet to open that door I would be disappointed." She said letting a cute pout come to her lips before grinning and kissing his tattoo softly. "Besides this is almost my favorite view of you."

Livianna looked up and smiled softly at Iris. "That's wonderful." She said with a nod. Loving the fact that nothing was alike. "Things are better when they are unique, it keeps them from fading into the background." Her voice was soft but thoughtful. Taking the water as the maid left from Nathaniel she smiled softly. Taking a small drink she nodded in agreement it was fantastic. Keeping herself from drinking it all at once she just rested the cup on her lap both her hands wrapped around it modestly. "This is very good thank you" Her dizzy spells appeared to have stopped at this point so a slight bow of her head was doable. "Does your whole family live here?" She asked Osiris as she looked up at the magnificent couple ahead of her.


Nickoli smiled softly as she slid her hands up his chest. When the jaket was removed he grinned lightly. "Oh you've pretty much convinced me it was the best thing I have ever done." His words finished as her lips met his chest. His grin faded into a sly smirk. "Almost?" He asked softly sliding his hands over her waist in a sensual kind of way. "What's your favorite?" He questioned in an almost husky whisper. Very curious now.

Osiris nodded agreeing with her words. "Yes my entire family lives here. As do the guards and everyone else who keeps this palace running. And the dancers, we would be lost without the dancers." He said lightly and Nathaniel nodded. "The only hybrid who has ever danced like our people has been Liz. And Iris of course, but for an eagle you have a smooth grace that most don't." He said looking down at her and she blushed meeting his eyes. "You flatter me." She breathed and he grinned. "I know." He replied and kissed her gently. Nathaniel chuckled and looked at Liv. "Would you like to explore or maybe watch some shows?" He asked her lightly.

Liz smirked hearing the slightly seductive question. "I'll give you a hint." she whispered in his ear and kissed him passionately. Her hands ran down his chest and undid his shorts slowly and sensually, pushing down the waist band of his boxers a bit playfully before pulling away just enough so their lips weren't touching. "Can you guess?" She purred as she smiled her temptress smile.

Livianna nodded softly before looking at Nathaniel. She wasn't sure if it was a question or a hint. Honestly sitting down after going through the desert was refreshing and the water was good. Sipping her water as if not to answer right away she weighed her options. "I don't want to be rude to our hosts." Was her final reply. Not sure if that answered the question or not but it sounded polite so she went with it. Her curiosity was almost on the brink of exploding out of her body in huge waves of questions and awkward stairs but she was able to contain it for now. Taking another and final drink of her water she sat the glass back on her lap and loosened her grip since the fear of a mess was now gone.


Nickoli's lips were instantly met with Lizzie's. Feeling her hands made him warm up. Hearing her question he grinned. Walking forward he pushed her back till she was pressed against the door and locked it. Just in case. He rested one of his muscular arms above his head against the door. The other hand sat on her waist. "Oh, I think I can guess." He said kissing her lips briefly before proceeding to her jaw bone, down to her neck. If ever there were a more blunt hint he'd never come across it.
