Ra seemed to frown as he heard Livianna, and then kept moving. Suddenly her blade caught him, and he hissed, changing forms to swiftly get away but the dancers, holding weapons blocked the exits and were waiting below, looking ready to kill. They wanted blood for what this man had done, and everyone seemed to have the hatred in their eyes. Aria was a massive symbol of peace and happiness to the serpentine, if they lost her, things would change drastically, and they feared for the worst. Ra stopped knowing he was caught and shifted back and dropped his dagger. "You win." he hissed.
Aria was laid next to Iris, as they both fought the poision of the arrows. The avian queen looked pale, and Aria looked fevorish as they suffered the effects from the poison. Knowing that this was a terrible situation, Nathaniel offered to keep Osiris back from Iris's side. He couldn't get in the way of the healers. The king looked so angry and distraught as tears fell down his cheeks seeing those two in so much pain. "I will kill them for this... If I loose them, I will destroy any and everyone involved in this." Osiris hissed, Nathaniel holding his shoulder to keep him from the girls. Iris suddenly took in a eep breath as her injection worked and the healers around her rejoiced. "She needs rest, but we have killed the poison." the head healer said and they swiftly moved to Aria. Osiris looked to Amenhotep and then growled. "He was hit by an arrow. Heal him as well." he ordered and met those pink eyes with his intense ruby eyes. "If you die she will never be happy, you need to stay alive until I get a reason to skin you." he hissed. Translation: He was allowing the albino to be with Aria as long as he didn't give the brother a reason to kill him. ((Time skip?)) |
Livianna looked at Ra with a smirk on her face. "No you don't get to walk through the palace like that." She said her dagger moving to a less dominant hand. Extending her nails Liv struck the serpintine across the face giving him sevear cuts to the face. "Get guards up here and take him." She said looking at the snake. Honestly she was glad she wasn't bit but she wanted to cause him more pain. The satisfaction she had was knowing that Osirs wouldn't hold back from punishing the two involved here.
Once Ra was taken and locked up, sure to be out of her reach and secure for trial or whatever, Livianna walked to the healers room. Amen looked at Osiris and shook his head. "Aria first." He stated pulling his shirt around his wound. "Mine is minor, very minor." He looked at the king and bowed. "Understood my king." His voice dripping with respect. Wincing some as he came up he sat down out of the way some. He took in a sharp breath at the sight of Livianna. And what a sight she was. Her dress was torn her eyes more amber than purple, her nails dripping with blood and her hair was a crazy mess. Her aura was strong, not threatening to anyone here, just very strong. "Is-Did you kill him?!" He asked alarmed. Livianna smirked some holding up her hand. "No, stop acting like a kicked puppy. I wouldn't take that away from Osirs, I just gave him a hard slap to the face." Flexing her hand so her nails gleamed a little she shook her head as Amen just rubbed his face. "If he tries to escape I will kill him though, and he'd wish he'd stayed put." Liv tossed in there. Walking over she washed her hands off and shivered as the design running up her back became a shade darker. "How are they?" She asked looking over at the two woman laying and being healed. ((Yeah I think that's best)) |
Ra hissed as he was struckk and held his bloody cheek, his glare of pure green filled with hatred. As the guards came, he was shakeled and weakened with the pure heat to the metal. Hissing in pain he walked away with the guards, his stance firm and unwavoring. He wouldn't apologize for his actions, he wouldn't ask for forgiveness. He had ment to kill, and he would pay the price for it.
NAthaniel was the first to feel Livianna approaching and then shook his head. He grinned at her and all of her wild beauty before he nearly let Osiris go. Stopping the cobra again, the male hissed in annoyance but quieted as Liv spoke. eeing the blood the king instantly looked to Kamen. Ra and Kamen had devoted their entire lives to serving the royal family, and never did they part or betray. Seeing the anger and pain in the crystalline's gaze, the king cobra felt deep respect for Kamen. He stood tall, at the ready like any head guard would, keeping on a mask to keep out emotions. He had choosen duty over his very own kin, his very twin, and for that Osiris was grateful. Aria gave a scream as the docotors tried to give her the shot, and the princess shifted into her sleek cobra form as she writhed in pain. Eyes widening Osiris pushed Nathaniel aside and shifted. The massive male hissed and wrapped his body around her's as her scales turned red with burning heat. Unnaffected because of their blood Osiris gently whispered to her, and as the dancer calmed, her form shifted back slowly, leaving the pale woman in his arms again. "Quickly, she may go instinctive again." The king said calmly as he held his baby sister. The healers moved swiftly and injected the princess, and her wounds began to push out the venum, and the doctor collected it with a frown. "We are lucky." he said as Aria took in a suddering breath and her eyes fluttered open. "He used pure hawk poison. Another few seconds and they both would have been lost. The queen was hit with pure crystalline poison...." he explained and Osiris stood tall as he realized what they ment. The two had been working together all along. "Once they are fully better, call forth the counsel... I will have them both skinned and tortured for their crimes." the king hissed and then watched as the healers injected Amen with the cure. He moved to Iris's side and knelt next to her bed, taking her hand as she smiled at him tiredly. |
Livianna followed Osiris's eyes to the twin. Interest spiked a little as she walked over to him. "I'm sorry, sometimes I forget that everyone has a family. I don't believe your brother had this in mind, but perhaps was pursuaded during a time of weakness and anger." She offered bowing to the guard lightly before walking over to Nathaniel and nuzzling his neck lightly. Her nails had reverted back to normal before she ran her hand down his face. Liv was just happy to be with her naga and that neither of them were where Iris and Aria where.
Amenhotep winced and cluched his stomach. "That's uncomfortable." He said moving his shirt looking down as stuff was pushed out. His father walked over and used a cloth to dab the liquid off his son. Once he was cleaned up the old snake gave the young man a kiss on the head before walking over to Livianna. "Hey there pretty lady. Have you ever tried going for an older guy?" He joked wiggling his eyebrows. Amen covered his eyes as he father tried to lighten the mood. Getting up he moved over to Aria and slid his hand gently in her's. Leaning close to her he whispered softly. "You gave me quite the scare lil lady." Livianna looked over and giggled a little. "Not really, more of a girl who likes em around my age." She said lightly leaning on Nathaniel. The old snake shrugged. "Well...that's a shame." He said chuckling some. It was about that time with a messanger walked quietly into the healers room. "Excuse me I'm looking for Horus and Amenhotep from Alexandria. They said that they were here." He said timidly. "I'm Horus!" The old man said waddling over. "Sir, I bring grave news. Your daughter and her naga succomed to their illness." The messanger said looking at the old man. "The family of your son-in-law have set up burial preperations." He added. "Thats good they have the means to give her something nice." Horus said softly. Amenhotep looked up a little shocked. His sister had made some recoveries before they left. Walking over to a chair the elder sat down and dismissed the messanger. Livianna looked down and hugged Nathaneil. Today was just no good. The old man rubbed his neck before looking at Amenhotep trying to fix his own mood. "You know what that means Amenhotep...your my last hope. I can't die knowing my bloodline is going to end because my only child doesn't know how to converse properly. I mean the gods cannot be that cruel. Take my only daughter to leave me with an unabled son. What did I do to diserve this? I honestly didn't know that elf was a man. Really I didn't." He laid back in the chair. Livianna covered her mouth but started to giggle. It was just too funny. |
Kamen turned his eyes to Livianna, and nodded his head to her. "My brother knew what he was doing.... A crystalline archer doesn't shoot poisoned arrows unless in time of war.... He wanted the war to break out between our people. Iris was his true target, as was the albino." he said, stating facts and keeping emotion from his eyes. "Kamen, you may leave if you wish." Osiris said softly, but the crystalline straightened and shook his head negatively. "Forgive me my king, but if I cannot serve and protect you now, I am unfit to serve you at all." he said bravely. Nathaniel watched the guard with admiration until his beauty came back into his arms. Snatching her fingers, he kissed her fingertips and then her cheek. Resting like this kept him in good spirits. Those around them were healing, all would be well.
The shapeshifter smiled at the elder as he tried to lighten the mood, and Livianna was gracious enough to go along with his little sherade, though it seemed Amenhotep might fall over from embarrassment as he did. Aria smiled weakly as she looked up at Amenhotep and then gave a small cough. "I'm sorry." she whispered horsely as she looked up into that gorgeous face of his. Though when the messenger came in, her stomach twisted. Hearing the terrible news, a few tears fell down the side of her eyes as she realized that this day had come to a terrible conclusion. Amen and his father had lost their only living family members, and yet they were here. Trying to be strong the princess blinked away more tears and tried to smile as the elder albino joked in such a time of pain. Osiris smiled at the elder thankfully for the humor and slowly stood with Iris in his arms. The eagel's head tucked under his chin, her arms around him as she looked as if she would fall asleep soon. "I think after such an event, everyone needs rest. I will see to it that the celebration continues, and when Iris and Aria have healed, we will take care of the assassins." he announced gently and then turned his gaze to Amenhotep. It was obvious the cobra was struggling to act civil, but he was doing his best. "Please take Aria to her room in the dancer's nest. It is the safest spot.... For the both of you." he said, obviously grugingly as he just allowed for the albino to stay the night in her room. Aria smiled and turned her gaze to her brother. "Thank you Osiris..." she breathed and he smiled with care. "Just get better." he said and left the room with the now slumbering naga. Nathaniel grinned at Amenhotep and then chuckled. "Well sir, Liv and I can surely help give Amen some pointers. Since we are nagas after all, and I happen to basically be a brother to the princess." he said teasingly and then gently kissed Livianna's cheek. Aria giggled softly and then gave another small cough before sighing. They were all just so silly. |
Livianna smiled at Osiris's conclusion to the day. As he left and Nathaniel spoke up she narrowed her eyes and punched him more or less gently in the gut. "Nathaniel that isn't at all appropriate to talk about! If your not careful I'll make you sleep on the couch." She teased lightly shaking her head.
Amenhotep bowed his head to the king and looked at Aria. He had to be strong for her, despite his loss. Looking at his father he bowed his head his hair becoming a curtin to hide his embarassment. "The tracker is correct, NOt at all appropriate." He stated softly shaking his head. His father, jeewiz. "OH Amen don't be so modest. If we can't talk about our conversing in the shade then what is there to talk about? I mean nothing is more peace inspiring then a little dancing in the dark." The old albino smiled lightly. Amen laid his head on the bed next to Aria and tried not to die of sure embarassment. "Father stop." The old snake grinned. "I mean if you over think dancing your sure to trip, but in some cases that could be a good thing." Livianna laughed as she listened. "Practice, that's what makes someone good at something. Doesn't matter which side either. Personally I think my left side is the best, my naga though, deffinatly anything on the fr." Amen raised his hand standing up. "OK I'm going to take Aria to bed." Slapping his hand on his face he stopped. "I am taking Aria to her room so she can rest while I sit quietly on the couch." He stated simply trying to avoid the teasing. "OH HO! So she has a couch eh?" Amen closed his eyes. Why could he never win? Picking Aria up carefully he shook his head. Walking over to his father he kissed his head lightly. "Please be careful roaming around today." The young man pleaded before leaving and heading out into the halls. Livianna laughed some and walked over giving the old snake a hug after Amen left. "Your kind to be so strong and fun during such a hard time." She said softly. "May the gods watch over you, and cross your daughter and her naga to the kingdom of the gods and saftly across the river." She said softly. She only remembered vague parts of Egyptian religious texts. The serpintine chuckled some. "Thank you, for trying." He said lightly patting her hands gently. "Perhaps one day you will have your own children, and I hope the gods bless them with all the health and glory they can handle." He said softly before walking slowly out of the healers dwelling. Livianna sighed sadly before looking at Nathaniel. Walking over she rested her head against his chest wrapping one arm around his waist and laying the other on his chest. "What should we do now?" |
Nathaniel chuckled breathlessly as Livianna hit him in the stomach. It was just too much fun to pick on Amenhotep when he ws so easily embarrassed. Chuckling at the old snake's humor, the male kept his arms around Livianna. It warmed his heart that the girl was so very strong as the albino she loved picked her up. Aria was like another sister to him, one that always trusted and looked up to him no matter what. Unconditional care was between the two of them. So the shapeshifter wanted her to be healed fast. He didn't like seeing her so still and hurt. Once they left he watched Liv try to console the elder and he too thanked teh man for his light words. Wathing the man leave he accepted his naga back into his arms and rested his head against her own. "Do you want to go relax in our room? Maybe go meet my family members? We can do just about anything you want." he offered softly.
Aria smiled softly as she was lifted by Amenhotep. Blushing she looked to his father and smiled. "Thank you for letting your son be at my side." she said softly and then rested her head on Amenhotep's shoulder. Breathing in his sent and enjoying the fact that the snake was shirtless, the princess held onto him with trust. Being carried out she sighed happily and closed her eyes. "I adore your father, he's so funny." she said softly and then kissed his neck gently. "I wish I could have met your sister, I'm sorry to hear that she is gone." the dancer whispered and then kissed his neck again. "I am so happy brother let you stay with me.... I don't want to be away from you ever again." the cobra said and blushed as she realized how silly she sounded. They had just met yet their feelings for eachother were so passionate that she felt complete with him around. |
Livianna tapped her fingers against his chest she thought over her options. "How about I change and we can go see your family for a little bit." She said softly running her hand down his chest. Kissing her naga gently she lead him out of the healers room and towards theirs. Once inside she grabbed her bag and dumped out its contents, including the super short dresses that she got the day before, onto the bed. She wasn't sure what to wear. Perhaps the pink dress Aria had given her before.
Amenhotep blushed lightly. "I'm glad you think so." He said softly about her commenton his father. Feeling her lips touch his neck his features softened a little. "I think the two of you would of gotten along beautifully. But sometimes things aren't ment to be." His voice didn't waver but he did look sadder. Hearing the next thing she said Amen pulled her close and closed his eyes lightly kissing her head gently. "I was terrified that you weren't going to make it through. I almost died when you took that arrow for me. I would of died for you, this feeling in my body, its so new but its just right." The albino attempted to put his thoughts into words. They seemed all sorts of mixed up to him though. Walking up to the dancers nest he bowed lightly as they let him in and opened Aria's door for him. Once inside though they seemed to disappear. "Are they always so shy?" He asked curious of the dancers behavors. Nickoli grinned as he nuzzled his lovers neck. "I think that we need to stop doing that during the day." He suggested with a satisfied voice. Though honestly his little dancer was so damn sexy in that outfit he could keep going all day. Kissing Lizzie softly he ran his hand down her face and neck. |
Nathaniel smiled gently and then agreed with Livianna. Walking to their room, the male figured that his outfit was fine for going to visit his family. Watching as Liv set out all the dresses, his curiosity sparked. Pearing at the shorter dresses, a smirk crossed his features as he wrapped his arms around her middle and kissed her neck softly. "I love those shorter ones.... Are those for my eyes only?" he asked seductively in her ear before kissing her jaw.
Aria smiled hearing Amenhotep's words and then sighed. "Yes, I know, but I knew if he got you, there may be no one to continue your family's business...." she said softly to try and justify taking the arrow for him. Had she not, it would have been an instant kill to the back of his head. Watching her dancers dispurse, she sighed happily as they returned to her warm room. "They know I need rest, and don't worry, they will thoroughly bug us later. They like to know a lot of details." the princess breathed and then giggled. "Many were trying to guess who you were before the celebration because I told them I found the most handsome man I had ever seen." the dance mistress breathed and slowly leaning up, she kissed him softly upon those amazing lips. It was her silent thank you. Lizzie giggled breathlessly and then shook her head. "I agree.... We just get into it too much to want to move after." she said teasingly and laid beside her wolf happily. Still wearing her dance outfit, the elemental shapeshifter sighed happily and looked up into those beautiful eyes of his. "Do you want to take a little nap before heading back to the rest of the family?" she asked lightly as she streched a little before pressing against him more. |
Livianna smiled feeling her naga embrasse her. Leaning her head to the side she grinned lightly. "Yes they are only for you. All five of them. Just for your eyes." She said softly looking them over. A michevious grin passed over her face briefly before she ran her hand over his arms. "Maybe tonight I can try one on for you." She said softly picking up the pink dress she was given the day before. "I'm going to wear this to meet your family. Is that appropriate?" Liv asked softly not breaking away from her handsome man.
Amenhotep smiled softly, "Because the family business really worries you enough to kill yourself over." He said sarcastically. Laughing a little as she explained the dancers he shook his head. "I don't know if I'm the most handsome man you've ever seen. But I'll take the complement." He was quite amused by this point. When her lips touched his though his heart changed its beat. Kissing her back lightly before pulling away and laying Aria on her bed lightly. Running his hand down her face, kissing her again a litle deeper this time. Leaning over her bed so she could rest. His arm bracing himself on the other side of her. His outside hand running down her face lightly as he did so. Nickoli smiled softly and ran his hand down his lovers form lightly. "That is up to you my love. I am a flexible and adaptable man, so if you want to get up and go see everyone we can do that. If you want a nap we can do that too, if you want to stay here that is perfectly fine as well." He said the last part with a seductive growl. |
Nathaniel grinned hearing that those five dresses were for his eyes, and his eyes only. Nipping her skin playfully he then nuzzled her cheek with his own. "I can't wait to get to see those then." he said seductively. Breathing in her scent was calming to the shapeshifter as he enjoyed resting here with his arms around her. As she offered to maybe wear one of those sexy little dresses the male grinned. "I would love it if you did, my temptress." he breathed and then watched as she picked up the pink dress from Aria. "That would be perfectly fine to meet my family it." Nathaniel said lightly and then waited until he absolutely had to let go of her.
Aria loved the way Amenhotep's lips molded against her own, the way they moved to trap her in the moment of pure bliss. Blushing softly, she then looked at the male when he pulled away and felt the softness of the bed beneath her. Smiling up at him fondly as he leaned over her, the princess gave a soft sigh as he caressed her face. Meeting his lips again, she kissed him a bit deeper, though as she leaned up, she felt a pain run through her body. Too stubborn to actually stop kissing she kept the kiss up, never wanting to break away from her handsome albino. Lizzie smiled as she felt his hand run down her arm and closed her eys. Enjoying the feeling of his soft touch was heavenly. Looking up at him again after she opened her eyes, the shapeshifter found she loved the way he was, all against her and looking sexy with nothing on and his hair a bit ruffled. Mmm it was a delicious sight. The words were kind that he spoke, though the seductive growl made her shiver and grin. "And what does my wolf want most?" |
Livianna smiled softly as Nathaniel reacted. "Its a date then." She said softly before looking over the pink dress and nodding a little. "Alright I'm going to change then." Reluctant to pull away she leaned back into him for a few more minutes before finally going and changing. The torn dress now laid on the bathroom floor and the pink one hugged her form tightly. Walking out Liv smiled at Nathaniel. Motioning for him to come over she waited just outside of the bathroom to slip back into her naga's embrace. After everything today she was just happy to have him with her.
((For now anyway thought of a new thing to push the story along much later of course but it will be epic :) )) Amenhotep felt a slight flinch from Aria and pulled away. "Aria, don't strain yourself." He said worried now. Gently applying pressure he had her lay back down. Slipping out of his shoes he walked around and sat down gently on the bed next to her. Turning her carefully he laid down so now they could kiss with out her trying to sit up at all. "I don't want you to hurt." His voice was stern to show he was being more than caring but serious. Looking her over he ran his hand lightly down her arm stopping at her hand as to not impose on her. Running his thumb over her fingers he smiled softly. It was wonderful to have her here. Nickoli sighed as he looked his naga over. "Oh so many things." He said softly before kissing her. "I can't keep you to myself though, lets go down stairs..." He tried to make it sound selfless but his stomach then growled loudly. Trying not to laugh at himself Nick shook his head. "Ignore that." He said with a grin as he got up and pulled on a pair of boxers and pants. |
Nathaniel enjoyed the time that Livianna stalled just to stay in his arms. Closing is eyes as he memorized the blissful and peaceful moment the shapeshifter always seemed at peace when around his naga. Allowing her to slip away reluctantly he then chuckled and sat on the edge of the bed to wait for her to get dressed. He would have to ask Aria where to find another dress like the one Liv had ripped to protect her friend. Hearing the door open not much later, the male turned his gaze to Liv and grinned widely. Standing up he walked over to her and taking her hand in his, he gently pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her frame and keeping her there in his embrace for a few moments. The sweet silence was peaceful because of his naga, his beauty would never leave him. It was wonderful to know she needed him as much as he needed her.
Aria mentally cursed herself for showing her weakness and breaking the sweet moment. ighing as she allowed for him to push her back down upon the bed, the princess just wanted to spend the time cuddling and kissing Amenhotep. She wanted to be with him as close as they could be for the time being while she was healing. Sighing softly as he scolded her lightly, she smiled at him and watched as he took off his shoes. Gazing at his graceful moments as he moved to lay by her side after turning her over, the woman smiled widely and then blushed softly. His touch running down her arm was heavenly, and when his thumb caressed her hand she slowly clasped her hand in his. She then brushed her nose against his as she gazed into those pink eyes and the smile never left her lips. "I'm so happy you can be with me." Lizzie smiled softly and kissed her werewolf back softly. Adoring the way his eyes traveled on her as if she was the most beautiful thing in the world. Nodding as he said they should head down to the family she was about to move but his stomach growled loudly before she could. Giggling softly she shook her head and grinned up at him. "I have kept the big bad wolf from having breakfast! We must hurry and feed you before you eat me." she said teasingly and watched as he got up. Admiring those beautiful muscles and gorgeous body she then slowly stood up herself. Goodness she loved watching the sexy strip or change show that Nickoli put on for her, even if he didn't know he did. "I didn't hear anything, my puppy." she said teasingly and kissed his jaw before heading towards the door. |
Livianna giggled a little as her naga came to her instead of vise versa. Snuggling into his chest she smiled. This was perfection. Looking up at him she gave him a soft kiss on the lips before lacing her hand in his and looking at the door. "Time to go meet your family." She said softly as she started towards the door to their room. Honestly she was nervous.
Amenhotep smiled softly and kissed the princess lightly on the nose. "I'm a pleased about this as well. I was scared I was going to be punished for not taking the arrows for you. Which is more a mental battle than a physical anyway." He said softly with a sigh. "I always enjoy our time together." He added with a smile. NIckoli grinned softly as she kissed his jaw and walked off. Rushing over he grabbed her waist and kissed her neck. "That's good I'd have to eat you if you heard something!." He joked lightly kissing her neck again before heading downstair with her. |
Nathaniel smiled and then chuckled. "It will be alright. I'm sure they will love you." He said lightly and then grinned. "So shall we visit my grandparents first? Or maybe my uncle and aunt we will stay with later on?" He asked lightly as they headed out of the palace. Smiling at her as they entered the city once again, the male looked around. "Alright, this day will become so much better. And once Aria and Iris recover the celebration will continue I'm sure." He said positively and then kissed her cheek.
Aria smiled and sighed as she heard Amenhotep. Giggling softly she then sighed and smiled wider at him. "No, I highly doubt Osiris can hold that ridiculous of a grudge." She said lightly. Looking in his eyes she then smirked. "Yes, time with you never gets old." She whispered and then sighed. "Do you know what I did for the years we were in the silent war with the avians? Did you hear the rumors?" She asked curiously. She was ready to tell someone her deep dark secret. Her job as an assassin. Lizzie laughed as Nickoli snatched her up again and kissed her. Leaning back against him happily she giggled. "Oh dear, I don't want to be eaten!" She said sarcastically. Leading her lover down the stairs, they were welcomed by teasing whistles, hoots, and cat calls. "Damn little Liz, you're going to slay everyone's hearts!" The twins said and dramtically fell over. The family laughed and then shook her head and chuckled. "Well after lunch I promise a show with the outfit." She said as the boys cheered teasingly. |
Livianna looked over at Nathaniel and rolled her eyes. Sure they would. Rubbing her head as he tried to be optimistic, "Perhaps it would be better if it didnt?" She questioned allowed before starting to walk a little. "Um Well lets start with the grandparents." She decided confidently. Lacing her fingers between Nathaniels she looked around the busy streets. Her eyes picking out the ones that weren't human. It was so much more obvious now that she'd been around two more races. Once she'd seen them all she'd be able to pick them out of this crowd.
Amenhotep sighed as he rubbed his head. "I have heard rumors, that the royal family had an assassin on their side. That they wouldn't be surprised if one of them were it. I didn't pay much mind I was busy fighting in Alexandria, the war didn't stay in Cairo, assissins and fighters they were everywhere. Trained randomly, picked for any rare skill or ability. There was talk though." He concluded before looking her over. "Why do you ask?" Nickoli rolled his eyes and playfully growled at the boys. "If you like her dress so much get one yourself." He teased keeping his arm around Lizzie's waist. She wasn't his arm candy. He was her mate but sometimes it felt like he was showing her off. OR maybe it was her showing him off. Honestly he didn't know which was which or when it happened, but he didn't care as long as neither of them felt like they were used and only felt like they were loved. That was the important thing. |
Nathaniel smiled widely and shook his head. "No, if the celebration didn't continue, it would cause more problems. It's a hefty cost to have so many avians and serpentine to come to Cairo and then just be sent back home. Besides, Aria would kill Osiris if he did such a thing. She has been training Iris and Osiris for their cerimonial dance for a long time." Nathaniel said lightly. Hearing her choose the grandparents he chuckled. "Grandmother is going to have a hay day... She loves cooking for girlfriends." He said and laughed. "She says woman are much better critics compared to a bunch of hungry male wolves who just want to fill their stomachs." He said lightly and headed east. As they walked a beautiful anchidnt palace could be seen as it came into view. "That's the family palace. It's been in our family's possession ever since it was built." He said as he pointed to the glorious building.
Aria listened as Amenhotep spoke of the rumors, and wasn't surprised when he spoke of fighting himself. It seemed every able bodied serpentine and avian fought in the war. It was mainly over the right to rule Cairo, or so the legends said. Bit their kinds had fought so long that the true reason besides hate had been lost. That's why Iris and Osiris forced their bond and peace took over. They had agreed to marry eachother, even if they repelled eachother, if it ment not having to fight anymore. Their sacrifice costed a lot, but in the end, they truely did fall in love with eachother. Aria then smiled and laced her hand with his. "We had to protect my youngest brother.... Since mother was wounded and forced into labor because of it, he was always weak... Osiris was already an amazing fighter, and so was Ai, but my training hadnt been solidified to what I was to do. Osiris led the army, Ai was our strategist and best archer, and so it became clear that if my little brother couldn't fit the role needed, I would. So I did the one secret art our family has kept secret since the beginning of the war... I went to the valley of death." She whispered, and knew how terrible the information was. The valley of death was where all mercinaries, assassins, murderers, and thieves stayed. Any and all who came were attacked on site, and had to fight to stay alive every day. It was a place no royal should ever to. "I went alone, and I was only five. My parents said I had been in a terrible fever where no one could see me... But in truth, those two years, I trained under the most ruthless assassins in Death Valley." She said softly. "When I returned home, my first mission was to kill Iris's brother, and that's what I did. But I even went a step further, and killed her father as well..." The princess breathed and closed her eyes slowly. "I was so good that they thought it had been the guards, and the guards were killed for betrayal.... So in the war I was the reason we grew stronger, why every avian in our way seemed to die when it was most convieeniant for us." She said and then opened her eyes and met his. "I am the weapon that Osiris threatened the avians with when they threatened to break the peace he proposed... I was the messenger that brought word of peace, unarmed, but they still thought of me as everyone saw my mask. The princess devoted to dance.... Not the true snake I am." She breathed and bit her bottom lip. "I haven't told anyone... The only person outside my family that knows is Liz, but that's because I began training her as well... She had to be able to protect Osiris if she was to become his naga..." The dance mistress said, and waited in painful silence. She didn't know what he would say, or what he would do when all her words sunk in. Liz giggled hearing Nickoli and grinned up at him. "Actually we had some ordered for our little foxes after Liz offered to teach them dance." Amun said lightly and grinned widely. "Foods ready!" Jamila called and the girls set out the food as the wolves happily raced towards the table. Looking at Nick she spanked his cute butt playfully. "Better hurry sexy, you better full that stomach of yours after that work out." She said teasingly. |
Livianna walked with Nathaniel listening to him before he pointed out the palace. "You know every time you take me somewhere it makes me envy you more and more. I'm going to have to do something about that." She teased lightly playfully nibbling on his arm. "Honestly though what is with all the glorious palaces, oasises, and powers. This is too much for little ol me to take in." Her voice was half playful and half not. Honestly she grew up in several places most of which were shit holes.
Amenhotep looked the princess over with a confused look. Even trained as a fighter he'd never guessed that Aria, beautiful dance Mistress, was an assassin. Not just any assassin the one who really kicked things off during the worst part of the war. Blinking a little he sat up some. "What is dance to you then? You've told me it was your life, but that apparently wasn't the only thing." He stated softly not sure what to think. How was he supposed to feel? The aftermath of her actions against the avians had cost him his mother and two siblings. His sister had barely made it out alive. Here he was in bed with the very assassin that had caused the vibrations of hate between the races. The root to the worst attack in Alexandria that had been seen in years. She was here laying next to him. Begging with her eyes that he look past that. He was in her company when his sister died. His head was running and he had to move. Standing up he flet dizzy and caught himself on a table. Why would the gods do this to him? Make him fall in love with someone who could kill with out care of consaquence to show off like the dancing she had done earlier. "I...what...what do you want me to think? What do you want me to feel?" He asked not sure he trusted himself anymore. How did he not see the deadly viper behind the color and the movements? His stomach turned as he looked at her. "Do you know what that caused? The pain everyone felt from that single attack?" He questioned not sure she could even fathom what had happened beyond Cairo. In fact he was positive she couldn't, no to her that was probably just some show to put on to prove her worth. ((Sorry wanted to add more drama!)) Nickoli grinned and nipped Lizzie's neck playfully before joining the others in breakfast. He grabbed a huge platefull and started to joke around with the twins in between shovling mouthfuls of food into his body. "I didn't mean for your ladies I meant for you! I'm sure a pretty green dress would look stunning." He teased lightly his eyes ever so often flicking up to look upon his mate. |
Aria listened to Amenhotep painfully, and watched as he pulled away. The pain of that was more then she ever could imagine. Tears stung at her eyes as his words cut her deeper, taring at her heart. Her eyes begged for him to understand, but as she feared, she shouldn't have told him anything.... Keeping the festering wound of her past to herself until she met the grave was what she was supposed to do, but she hasn't thought it was fair to Amen. "Amenhotep, please.... I haven't lied to you..." She whispered and as a tear slipped down her cheek she forced herself to sit up dispite the pain. "I know what my actions caused, I know what happened to your family." She said and more tears fell down her cheeks. "It was the first thing I thought of, the reason I haven't tried finding a naga.... Because of my actions, you lost family you can't get back..." She breathed and trembled in pain and heartbreak. Seeing his pain nearly ripped her heart out. "Dance is what I've always wanted to do, it's what keeps me sane, what keeps me from changing into the monster I was trained to be... Do you think it doesn't kill me to know that I killed so many people? Many of who were innosenf... It kills me." The dance mistress said painfully and looked away. Moving to painfully stand from her bed she staggered and caught herself against the wall. "I've begged to be able to kill myself... I've tried to end my life, I even had a man hired to kill Me ceremonially like assassins should be..." Aria said and met his eyes painfully, tears still spilling down her cheeks. The tattoo over her body was actually what she spoke of. The man was to carve into her body to bleed her out with a design of deadly beauty. Osiris had stopped the man and once Aria was healed, the pink scar was tattooed over. "I swore to keep that secret to my grave, but I didn't want to keep anything from you. Dance is my life, being an assassin was what I was made to be, and as the dance mistress I feel like I can right my wrongs..." She breathed and then turned to him meeting those eyes with pain in every movement and feature. "But if you can't forgive me, I understand...."
Nathaniel smiled and then chuckled as Liv nibbled him. "No, only recently has my family accepted me... My past is nothing to envy." He said lightly and then kissed her cheek. "Though I would love to see this, I'm sure I will envy you." He said and then chuckled. "My grandparents live next to the palace. They will be thrilled to see you." He said lightly as they headed towards the house like building next to the palace. It was a shop on bottom and home ontop. "They sell many anchient goods and items in the shop. Give tours of the palace. They are very much historians." Nathaniel explained and walked into the shop. Smiling at the young store clerk the male looked up and grinned. "Nathaniel, I will go get your grandmother, she's baking." The male said and went into the back. Looking around the shop, the male waited for his naga's reaction to the shop. The twins laughed at Nickoli joke and kept eating. They all seemed to playfully throw jokes around at eachother as they ate. Like usual, Liz joined the girls in serving food and taking dirty dishes from the table. She caught Nickoli's eyes now and again as she moved around and then leaned against the kitchen counter and spoke lightly with the females. This was what she called home. Having a mate and being surrounded by family and friends. |
Amenhotep watched as Aria got up, seeing her so upset was killing him. Shaking his head he listened. At the end he walked out of the room onto the balcony. He was two feet away from just disappearing, never to be seen from again. Sighing he closed his eyes and tried to convince himself to go. Instead however, the albino male turned around and walked over. Anger still in his eyes as he went at the female like he was ready to kill. He swiftly picked her up, careful not to hurt her and laid her back down. "I have rules." He stated grabbing a chair and practically breaking it as he slammed it down next to the bed as he sat down. "If I'm staying that means you have to care about yourself as much as I care for you. Your no longer aloud to take hits for me. I will die before you throw yourself in the line of fire again. Understand?" He crossed his arms and then looked at her. "AND you aren't to get out of bed until your better." He said glaring at the door like a child.
Livianna smiled some and walked into the store with Nathaniel and looked around. She wasn't sure what to think with all the little things everywhere. Stepping so she was against him she held onto his arm tightly with her hand, not sure if she should be worried or interested. Her curiosity took over as she started stairing at something across the room. Walking over she started to examin things. "This is an interesting shop." She said softly half hoping his grandparents wouldn't bust into the room with nectar or something because of her aura. Nick watched Lizzie and laughed some as he teased people at the table. This was the best part of everything. Having this kind of atmosphere around him. As breakfast finished up he got up giving one of the twins a playful shove as he went over and took Lizzie in his arms agian. "Did you get food?" He asked softly kissing her cheek lightly. |
Aria was shocked as she was lifted from her feet and put back on the bed. Her tear filled eyes met the angry pink orbs that bore into her soul. It was as if judgement was being passed on her soul before she was either sent to heaven or hell. It hurt her to know that he would never look at her the same, and never relax around her again. Mentally nearly shutting down the princess's eyes closed, unable to take that stare. It felt like her heart was severed from her body. Feeling cold the woman heard those words and felt that heart that was once hers hit the floor. "Just because, I am princess... And a monster... Doesn't mean you have to stay..." She breathed and opened her eyes. Tears flowing down her pale cheeks, the female didn't bother to wipe them away. Only more would come anyway. "I don't want you to stay if you can't love me." She said, her words more bitter then the last. Curling up, it was as if the poison was running through her body again, but it was the pain of he heart bleeding out on the floor. Turning her back to him, the princess cluched her sheets tightly, trying to releave some pressure from her chest. Why did I believe he would accept a murderer like me?
((I will add as the rest later.)) |
Amenhotep looked over at Aria and shook his head. Standing up he moved over and ran his hand down along her jaw. "Loving someone means to forgive them. I'm here still because I can't leave, the idea is worse than you dieing. Because then Im choosing to loose you." He said simply before sitting back down. "Each of us have done something unforgivable for our families and one day we wll pay for that. I lost my sister and my brother in law tonight. I cant bare anymore loss. I am not going to quit on you Aria. Not just because your a princess but because I would never want a day where you couldn't be in it." Looking away still his anger was disolving. Amen wasn't really a fighter so much as a thinker. The anger he'd expressed just moments before was desolving back down into passion.
|
Relief. That was the only word to discribed the moment when Amenhotep caressed her jaw and spoke those words. Her tears cascading down her ivory cheeks slowed, as Aria met those beautiful exotic eyes. Such understanding, such passion formed behind them, the princess didn't feel she deserved them. Her chest released all the pain in a sweep of his sentence and without a word she leaned up and pressed a deep kiss to his lips. It revealed all in that one moment. He could taste her tears, her grief, sadness, relief, joy, passion, and most of all love. Each was one deep kiss after another, each more meaningful then the last. Breathless she couldn't seem to form words upon her lips as she rested her forehead against his. Her hands cupping his handsome face. For a sweet moment, all pain and sadness was forgotten. "Stay..." She breathed and her hands gently cascaded down his neck and shoulders like cool water. Pulling him gently onto the bed like the soft wave of rippled water from a raindrop, and accepted him in her warm embrace on the silken sheets. It seemed her word hung in the air, as she pressed her cheek to his head, and cradled his head to her nook of her neck meeting her shoulder. "I feel safe with you..." A breathy whisper passed from her lips as she closed her eyes, the last of her tears drying. "I feel like I can be myself, just how I am." Aria finished and in that moment she knew, he was her naga. From the bottom of her heart, the moment they connected was true bonding. As if they were the anchients from their legends, just a glance, caught in time, the love was ignited. Such was the thing of stories, fairy tales even, but with Amenhotep, it was anything but. Pure bliss, pure joy, pure love. That was what they had.
Nathaniel smiled as Livianna glued herself to his side. He could understand the concern. He had announced his heritage and so pure blooded wolves wouldn't exactly enjoy her auora. But he was confident that once they got to know her, they could look past the race like they did for him. Pulled from his thoughts as he heard Livianna, his gaze softened. "Grandfather was an architect, and so it became the family business along side the tours. It's amazing how many rich people walk in here just to shake his hand and buy one item in person. I've heard some crazy people coming from everywhere." He said lightly and reached out to gently touch the cool clay pot to the right. There was one releck he was waiting for her to feel a connection to, one that was eating at the back of his mind. One of the most original tracker blades sat behind them in a leather sheath made around the same time her race was born. There had to be some connection she was feeling. Or at least he had a feeling she would. Lizzie smiled feeling those warm arms wrap around her and closed her eyes. Leaning back against him she laughed lightly and opened her eyes. "I'm secretly a food ninja, I steal from the trays I serve you boys." She said with a playful wink and then rest her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad that you didn't notice. I think I stole at least two corn bread muffins... They have to be my weakness besides cheesey popcorn." The shapeshifter said pleasantly before chuckling as the girls run upstairs to get their dancing outfits. (Plus Flur) "They want lessons after my little show... It's amusing to watch the boys' eyes grow to the size of tennis balls and then start having their tongues fall out of their mouths." the blonde said with a giggle and twirled from his hold with a wink. "Follow everyone outside, I have to grab the music big boy." The female teased and turned to go grab the CD player from the living room, this would be fun. |
Amenhotep was a little taken off guard but wrapped his arm around Aria as she kissed him. As he was pulled into bed with her the male let out a breath of releif and greif. He rested on one arm that sat just outside of her frame. He didnt want to hurt her by placing all his weight on her. Her voice hit his ears like a siren song causing him to be motionless for what seemed like eternity. Moving his head finally he kissed her neck gently before rubbing his nose against hers. What was there left to say? The silence spoke volumes for what he was feeling so he left it at that. Running the hand he wasn't balancing on down her face gently, sweeping effortlessly down her shoulder, arm and resting at her hand. Lacing his fingers with hers. Closing his eyes he kissed her gently on the lips, hovering just like that for a moment.
Livianna nodded before looking at Nathaniel. Catching his hand as he pulled it back from the pottery he had been touching she kissed it softly. Something in here was itching for her to find it. She could feel it but she hadn't laid eyes on it yet. Turning around still holding his hand Liv spotted it. A seemingly ordinary blade sitting in a leather sheith. Every inch of her body was telling her to touch it. Moving she picked it up lightly in her hand. Letting go of Nathaniel if only for a moment she took the blade out of its sheith and looked it over. It wasn't till her fingers brushed the edge that anything happened. At that point it was like Liv had fallen into a trance. The ancient blade started displaying memories much like what happened when a tracker died. Each blade holder, their abilities, memories, thoughts, final feelings all if it was being shown to her. Some of it was scary or sad and the rest was just confusing. The situations that each was in when the blade left their posestion. Much like the two she'd obtained from Blare and Isis this blade was passed on to the tracker that killed its orgional owner. Eventually falling into the sands when the last owner had been slain by something not a tracker. Livianna's eyes seemed to glaze over a little as her body started to obsorb the forgotton knowledge. Nickoli laughed as Lizzie started talking about being a food ninja. He nuzzled her neck as the other girls took off and then sighed as he was given a command. "What if I don't want to?" He teased lightly before sighing. Letting the female spin away from him he barked playfully before heading outside. He was excited to see what his lover had instore for everyone. |
Aria's muscles quivered in response to his touch as those eyes looked into her own. Past her eyes, through her heart, and they took in the sight of her soul. Stained by blood, purified with dancing, and burning with passion. The free spirit with in her was something that many knew, but few understood. In that moment, it didn't matter. That moment, sweet and tender, he became her gravity. Keeping her from floating with the cold biting tide, pulling her ashore to the sun filled world that he offered. Aria felt the soft kiss and returned it, gentle and loving. Giving his fingers free roam over her arm and down to her hand was a very calming moment. As he pulled away, he hovered there, like the words she had spoken. Kissing him softly again she then sunk against him, her energy draining out of her like water pouring from a cup. Sinking down into his embrace her eyelids became heavy and her breathing heavy as well. "Amen... I-I... Need rest..." She breathed, her head nestling into his neck and slowly relaxing her muscles. That poison had taken a lot out of her, and now with the emotionally draining moment gone and past, she was ready to pass out.
Nathaniel smiled softly as Livianna lifted his hand to her lips, and the gentle kiss warmed his heart. Such a caring and loving gesture. Then the tracker of his turned and seemed to see the blade. At first he wondered if it might of been an aciedent that she saw it. But then she unsheathed it and it was as if he could feel it call to her. Just feeling her let to of his hand made him understand, but at the same time, he was worried. She suddenly froze like a statue, and zoned out. Walking up to her slowly, he didn't know what the best way to approach her was. Reaching out he touched her shoulder. "Liv?" Liz laughed hearing Nickoli bark at her playfully. Grabbing the cd case and the player the blonde walked out onto the stone patio that had been cleared for her. The family was seated on blankets and chairs around the slab of stone and the girls had returned to their mates. Smiling brightly the shapeshifter hooked up the player and popped in the cd. Flur sat next to it to man the player and make sure it worked. "There are three dances on this cd, the traditional dance of entrance into the dancers nest, and that will be the one I preform first." She said lightly and smiled widely before walking to the center of the smooth stone and took her stance with her wrists crossed in the air above her head. Kamun leaned over and whispered to Nickoli. "Ten bucks says you pounce on her after the last dance." He said with a grin. |
