Zaro smiled for a second before thinking. "So you do not even know what I am let alone of your own abilities? How very, VERY interesting." He stated before standing up and pushing the young man to the tree and holding him there with inhuman strenght. (Not hard enough to hurt him just enough to keep him there with easy.) "You'll know what I am when the time is right. But just know that you cannot run away because if you do then I WILL find you. And also you have some strange ability to repell me. Hence the headaches. I get them whenever you are too close. Also there is something about this park that negates said ability." He finished his words before his eyes flashed red for a moment and he was walking away while Gabe was once again under the tree with his drawing pad open. Only thing he could remember was the things Zaro said and his strength.

"I understand what I can do, lots of people know" he had been attacked before because people thought he could do more than just heal someone. "Why would I run? Those who fear are the ones who run and what ability to repel?" now Gabe was deffiently confused, he only knew of his healing power and that was it pretty much. Gabe sat there blinking and wondering if all that he remembered was a dream, maybe he fell asleep? Yeah, thats it, he must've fallen asleep outside, though it was around the same time he rememebered sitting down just about. Shaking it away he stood up feeling a bit odd and remembering Zaro's strength and the tree as if there was a connection. Gabe walked home, it was quite a ways to walk, however, his apartment was welcoming whe he arrived home.

Zaro watched from atop the trees as the boy walked home. He followed him to make sure he got home alright and was not attacked or running away. 'So he does not even know of his repelling ability? How interesting indeed.' He thought while slowly sliding his tounge over his now full length fangs. "Soon my pet. Soon the point will come where yo will have to make a choice and I will have to bear it all." He spoke outloud softly and then was gone.

Gabe unlocked his door almost jumping when someone put an arm around them "Alex, how may times have I told you not to do that" "Sorry sorry, just wondering where you were" "Hospital where else?" "Well I thought maybe you were on a date" "Alex, you know very well I dont date at all" Which was true on Gabe's point as his friend sighs saying "Just because of a bad experience, doesn't mean everyone is bad" and alex walked away with his head down, he was 3 doors down from Gabe and they knew eachother because Gabe healed him. Once inside he went to the fridge grabbing a classic cola and head over to his labtop on the coffee table turning it on. He spent most of the night on it doing research for people to heal or accidents that occurred and that he could get to. Eventually he fell asleep at his labtop not even realizing it, though his drink was closed up on the table.

Zaro watched the boy thruout the night and when he fell asleep he let himself into Gabes house. "Poor things. Spends all of his time trying to heal people. Selfless indeed." He spoke softly before picking the boy up bridal style and carrying him down the hall (i am guessing that is where it is) to his bedroom and laying him in it. "Rest up gabe. Tomorrow you start unraveling who you are and what I am." He spoke softly befor palcing a gentle kiss on the boys forhead. When he pulls away there is a red glowing kiss on the boys forehead that seems to burn it's way into the boys head before slowly disipating. "Sleep tight." He spoke and was then gone.

Gabe felt himself being moved, he knew he was being carried, and placed on a bed which he assumed was his. He thought he heard someone speak, but, before he could wake up he was off into dreamland. In his dream, the doctor was there, Gabe, and some random shadows that were walking past them. They were in the park again, however, the doctor was talking to him saying 'Rest up, Gabe. Tomorrow you start' 'Start what?' The nexy day came as the sun shown through his window waking him up. He never could sleep with lights or sounds around, it wasn't something that he ever got used to.

(sorry got distracted)

The doctor was at work. He did not sleep that night but it did not bother him. Being of the purest blood made him need very little sleep. "Yes, ma'am your son is in the childrens wing. Down the all and to your right." He told a worried mother. "No sirs we have recieved no confermation of you ability to adopt yet. Please be a bit more patient." He told a gay couple who have been trying to adopt a child for the past few days. Zaro went through the motions of the day but was also secretly planning on Gabes tests. 'I will need to put a time stop on everything around us in order to talk in absolute privacy. Also bring him to my home so that the experements can begin.' He thought to himself with a sadistic smile.

Gabe eventually got around 7:19, pretty much close to his usual time, he laid in bed thinking of the dream over and over again trying to figure it out. He remembered the doctor being in it, but, that was it, he couldn't remember the words or actions. Just the two of them facing eachother while people he couldn't see or recognize walked past without a care in the world to the fact that they existed.

Gabe stood up grabbing the clothes he was going to wear and yet realized 'How did I get to bed?' shrugging he thought 'Must've walked half asleep' moving to the bathroom he took a short 25 minute, warm shower and dried off as he got dressed. Looking at the clock it was now around eight and he still had to do something about breakfast, he didn't eat as much as some but when he did, well most of it was fruits, something he used to love alot and still did.

Grabbing an apple along with his labtop in a bag, he headed to the hospital, today he wouldn't visit the children. Maybe he would visit someone else, once he was in the hospital he heard the nurses talking, "Did you hear, that little girl Sarah, she jumped last night" "Jumped? from where?" "The second floor, said something about not wanting to live if she couldn't remember" "Oh poor girl" "She isn't a poor girl, she is selfish brat thinking only of herself and not of her friends"

Gabe did't bother with ignoring them today and walked over to them oblivious to anyone else around "I do believe you are being too harsh on the child" his eyes actually showed anger in them which freightened the nurses "I-I'm sorry, excuse me" the nurses scattered walking away as Gabe went to find Sarah's room and even went inside closing the door half way. Sarah was asleep at the moment but hooked up to the machines, she got hurt for a child her age, but, it wasn't that bad apparently if there was only a heart monitor that she was connected to.

"Sarah, can you hear me?" Gabe spoke quietly but not in a whisper, he had been sitting next to her for about fifteen minutes now. Nonetheless, the nurses outside away from the room were talking about what just happened. "That man is so annoying, he just comes in here and does as he pleases just because he can heal people" "Well thats why we let him in, some of us got to know him a bit" "oh and how much did you girls get to know him Janet?" "Violet, don't be like that, he probably just didn't like you calling the girl selfish, I understand where he is coming from though" "Oh so you like him" "I dont have to like him to understand him Violet, you can be such a snob sometimes" Janet walked away unhappy about the conversation.

Zaro walked into Sarah's room. "I thought I would find you here." he said in a low voice. "She is going to be fine you know. Second floor is maybe 25 feet high, and she landed in the pool. There is no internal damage and there is only minor cuts and bruises." He spoke calmly before clapping his hands together and pulling them apart indicating the start of his time stop. "No one else can hear, see, or move right now. We need to talk." He told the boy flatly walking away and indicating for him to follow.

(My creative writing teacher told me that it is helpful for story to build up some interest, I'm not totally sure if that was correct or not, but, it depends on the subject. Most of the time my writing is summed up instead of written like that) (And I dont mind if you have short posts, they are rather fun to read)

Hearing someone approach but ignoring them until he heard the doctor speak saying that they needed to talk and yet no one else can hear them or see, or even move for the time being. Standing up and leaving Sarah there, he moved to follow the doctor, second day in a row he was unhappy about Sarah's choices. This time she chose to act on her choice, what would happen next time she would try? "What do you want to talk about?" he asked while following.

"Tell me something Gabriel" Zaro spoke in his velvet smooth voice. "What do you think of Vampires?" He asked him with a little enphasis on the word 'vampires'. "Honestly now, what do you think about them and their ability to turn a human into one of them and live for eternity?" He asked again. The whole while never turning around just continued walking to his home at the other side of town passing by all the people none of them moveing none of them breathing.

Gabe wasn't sure what was going on, though it freaked him about that people were frozen. 'No way is all of this real, it can't be this has to be some sort of' "This must be a dream right?" Gabe asked looking around, however, he as intended on not answering Zaro's question about if he believed in vampires or not. 'Really, what the hell is going on here' Gabe looked around, he wasn't liking this at all. 'How can I be moving while everyone else is frozen, wait does this mean they are dead?' he mind was running through countless options to try and make it seem like it was just a hoax, but, who would put him up to something like this. "This is a cruel joke right? There are no such things as vampires, there never will be, myths just don't exist, that is why they are myths" now he was rambling and only because he wasn't sure what to think. His heart began to race, but, only a bit as everything was sinking in bit by bit.

Zaro smiled. "This is all very real. No they are not dead. This is called time stop. It allows me to stop time whenever I please for whomever I please and for as long as I please. So say I want to be in Rome tommorow. I could stop time and be there in a matter of millesecond." He stated before turning around his eyes glowing a deep crimson red and his fangs fully extended. "You are quite wrong. I am a vampire. A pure blood to be more presice. Hence why i can go out in the middle of the day." He smirked. "Oh, and you have a wonderful home. I had a good view of it when to carried you to bed the other night. Now, if you would please stop trying to repell me. You are giving me quite a headache." He said holding his temple.

(Sorry lol, I'm usually playing a character who does fear much)

'He can hear my thoughts?' Gabe listened to him, he wasn't really liking all that he was hearing. 'Just who is this doctor?' he asked himself in his mind, not letting it wander too much so that he could pay attention to what was being said next. Gabe took a step back seeing his fangs 'No way, this has got to be joke' Gabe thought trying to comfort himself but it wasn't exactly working since his hands were a bit shaky. Gabe's eyes linked with Zaro's as he said "What? what are you talking about, you dont even know where I live" 'There is no way he carried me to bed last night, no way no way no way' he wasn't about to accept the truth, that was one of the bad habits he had.

Zaro watched the boy. "This is no joke. This is all very much real. And I know where you live because I have been watching you these past few nights. Last night I saw you fall asleep and when you did I walking in and took you to your bed." He spoke in his velvet smooth voice as he watched the boy with glowing eyes..

'Great, first Sarah, and now this? What next?' Gabe thought to himself confirming the fact that the guy could read his mind "Could you just stay out of my head for five seconds" of course he meant for it to be longer than that but Gabe was trying to work through all of this. So far the doctor had only been nice to him, helping him out, even if he didn't know it fully. He wasn't sure why, but, he wasn't as afraid as he should've been. Probably because growing up he didn't start to find out more fearful things until only a couple years ago, barely that.

One of Gabe's friends had this odd issue, where she didn't believe in death nor anything remotely close to it, and yet she was always trying to kill herself. She had her own mission in life, it wasn't healing people, however, she wanted to prove that if you don't truly believe in death, then you dont die. Thats probably where Gabe got some of his beliefs after hanging out with her for so long. She told him if anything ever happens to her, not to heal her, and just let things go. She was now in the same hospital on one of the top floors in a coma state and no one knew what happened or when she would wake up.

Gabe took his mind back to the doctor "And by telling me this, what do you expect from me?" Gabe wasn't sure what the doctor wanted, nonetheless, he would listen and hear him out while the two of them had the chance to talk without any interuptions. He started wondering without realizing it, if vampires, if there were more, and if so, how many were out in the world.

Smirking Zaro watched the boy wonder. "So you do not fully deny the existance of Vampires. How touching. What I expect to gain from all of this Gabriel. Is a mate." He waited for a few moments to let it sink in what he meant. The last mate that he had was a beautiful young women who begged him to turn her so that she could stay beautiful and in return she would bare his children. Sadly when the time came for them to be born she was not strong enough to deliver them so they ate their way out. Devouring her and in the process killing themselves. Should a Pure Blood Vampire ever consume the flesh of his own kind he will die.

Gabe waited, listening to everything he said "But we're both males" of course Gabe knew that the same gender alone with different genders could be together in many ways. He found that out the hard way one night walking home. That is why he usually leaves before dark from the hospital or most places he goes out at. He didn't think anything like that with the doctor, he couldn't, more like wouldn't be able to imagine them together.

"I am not accepting this, but, what does being a mate to you actually mean?" Gabe asked figuring he would rather understand the basics before anything would be decided. He wasn't really against it, he had finally looked at the doctor for once, taking in his appearance, and noting that he wasn't bad looking.

'Great' he thought to himself as a headache popped up from everything he had been concentrating on. 'Wait, didn't he say something about repelling? How come someone be a mate with someone else if one repelled the other and there is no way known to control it?' Gabe thought to himself mostly, trying to figure out if there was or wasn't a way around that and wouldn't that cause pain for the other person more?

All you have to do is want me around and you wont repel me." He smiled at the boy cutely. He could tell the boy was hesatant. "Also. Your healing abilities might increase. With Pure Vampiric bloob running through your veins it may increase the power of your healing to the point of being able to regenerate other peoples body parts. It would take years to know for sure but it is a possibility." He said and smiled again.

Gabe listened to the replies and cursed at him for not keeping his thoughts to himself, but, how would he do that when the guy can read his mind whenever. Gabe was tempted to look at the floor but his determined side kicked in "I'm not going do it" Gabe stated waiting before adding "Do I even have a choice in this matter?" he asked out loud not caring to think about it.

Gabe was the type of person that if he was going to be with someone, then he would rather be loved for who he was, and could love the person back the same way. Not being told he had to or should become someone's 'mate' for eternity which really kind of spooked him a bit. He crossed his arms over his chest and waited.

Zaro watched him for a bit. "No no, the choice is all yours Gabriel." He was being very honest. "I would never forceably turn someone who did not want to be turned." He spoke nicely and gently so as not to scare the boy more. "I will however keep folling and watching you until you decide to agree. I need a mate and you need love. No, I am not saying that I love you now, but I am saying that it is very possible that I will in the future. And even if you did agree to right now, you would not be turned until the first mating. During orgasm is the only time that one can be turned INTO a pureblood. When the blood is flowing the fastest throughout all of the body." He spoke to him in a very factual manner.

Gabe moved so that they weren't so far apart now, there was still about a yard length in between them, as a precaution "Then at least lets get to know each other" Gabe only knew that Zaro was a doctor, a vampire, and someone whom was willing to find his mate at whatever costs. Gabe didn't want to be with him, he honestly, just wanted to get to know him.

'Why not first become friends?' Gabe asked knowing that Zaro could possibly hear him and right now he was fine with that. Anything that Gabe couldn't say out loud, would be easier to think about it, because then Zaro could hear him. His mind still flickered back to Sarah though, he had realized she tried committing suicide, and wanted to do something for her. 'Just let me heal Sarah first please' when he thought the word please, his face showed that he was sad. He cared about Sarah as a younger sister, he had a sister once, in the past, but Sarah was still alive.

Zaro looked at him. "Heal her? Gabriel she has brain cancer. You cant heal that. Not yet. It is indeed sad but it is something that we cannot handle." His face showed that of sadness and then he was gone. The world was once again moving and things began to play out. THe only thing that made it seem like someone was ever there is the prints in the ground where his feet stood. 'Have a good life Gabriel.. I should never have been so... Forward as that, and for that I hope you forgive me.' When the words stopped flowing through Gabes mind it seemed as if here was something missing. As if the pressence had left his mind.

Gabe stopped, his first worry was that he couldn't protect Sarah anymore, he couldn't save her. Though now, something else was eating at him, he wasn't liking the feeling he had when Zaro dissapeared. Gabe looked for Zaro all day and where ever he could. He looked in the hospital on every floor and every room, he looked outside the hospital, around his own house. But, he had to come to accept that Zaro was gone, it wasn't a bother to him that Zaro was there, what he had asked was something odd, however, he didn't dislike him for that.

"Crap its getting dark again" some time had passed, about a couple weeks at the most, yet Gabe kept trying to find Zaro. It had felt odd to Gabe that Zaro wasn't around, he liked him being around, he liked talking to him just the day or so before they chatted with frozen time in the hospital. After Sarah had died with brain cancer and of course the night before Gabe had tried to return her memories to her, she passed away that night. Gabe quit going to the hospital, he felt no need since the two people he liked to see around was gone. It was around 9:30 at night, the moon was full and high in the sky, the clouds barely looked visible, and the wind was rushing past everyone and everything without any worries.

"What time is it?" Gabe asked himself checking his leather bound, cheap, watch. Just then he was pulled back instantly into the back of an ally behind some bad apartments. He began to panic as flashbacks occurred of getting raped last time from almost a year ago had popped into his head constantly. They were blocking his thoughts so that he couldn't focus. There were four guys, two watching the way anyone could come and find them. And two of them holding Gabe against the wall as a fifth stepped out from the shadows, a butterfly switchblade in his hand.

Butterfly switchblades were known to be more dull than sharp, so they seem to have a bad time at cutting, yet, great for creating pain and not leaving very many marks unless stabbed with. "Oh, and what do we have here?" the guy spoke, his dirty brown hair long enough it covered his dark eyes just by an inch. His outfits showed he was normally doing something like this every night to anyone who would just happen to be passing by. Gabe recognized the man, the same one from last time, he felt the strength from his body slowly leaving him.

"I do believe we have met before, you're the same guy from before, haven't you learned your lesson? Or did you want to get more?" The guy asked grinning and moving closer to Gabe as he placed the open switch blade against Gabe's cheek. Gabe's eyes showed he was afraid, he wasn't even trying to hide it, when the metal touched his face, he flinched closing his eyes. "Tsk tsk tsk, you shouldn't close your eyes, you never feel enough if you do" he teased again going to make his move as he slid his somewhat dirty hand up under Gabe's shirts. That made Gabe flinch more, he hated being touched by mostly anyone, however, he hated this guy the most.

'NO! Please someone help me!' Gabe screamed in his mind almost out loud in his voice. The guy with the blade got kicked by Gabe as the other two still held him "Why you!" The guy punched Gabe in the stomach as Gabe dropped to his knees feeling the pain and didn't like the fact that he couldn't hold onto his stomach for comfort. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Gabe yelled loudly, no one heard, nor if they did, they wouldn't help him out. "SHUT UP!" the guy kicked him in the stomach again making Gabe cough up blood.

(Haha I'm sorry I seemed to have lost control of my typing after awhile XD)

While Gabriel was on the ground the guys started yelling and screaming. "Tsk tsk. You boys should know much better than to pick on an innocent. I thought I made myself clear last time when you first did this. You hurt him again and you would become nothing." There were a few quickly cut off appologiez and then Gabriel was alone. 'I told you I would follow you and keep you safe.' A voice said in Gabriels head and then vanished once more.
