Wasting no time, Luna continued to battle the demons until the street was safe again, and she followed Rikna. Every so often, she would stare in amazement at him and his fighting abilities. If they were ever to have to fight each other, Luna would surely lose unless she unleashed her demon powers on him. Even then, she wouldn't mind the loss -- Rikna would probably use her remains to make a powerful sword, and Luna felt that she should be proud of him for being such a strong fighter. It was an odd sensation, one that the demon girl couldn't exactly understand, but that was okay.
Once all the demons were vanquished, Luna was actually on top of a building, looking over the town to make sure that the rift was disappearing and that the demons were all scared away. Fortunately, that was exactly the case. When Luna heard Rikna calling him, she hopping off the building and landing at his side. "I'm right here, Rikna," she said, looking up at him. "You're... not going to say anything about... me... right? Please, don't tell anyone." She was whispering at this point, not wanting anyone to overhear. "I can tell you my story later -- why I'm here and all that -- but, for now... I really don't know what we should do, actually." Laughing lightly at her own lack of knowledge, Luna placed her daggers back into their sheaths and scratched her head. He seems like a nice guy. I can trust him, at least with a few things.
