Here's my character!
Name: Luna Ellysan Age: 18 Gender: Female Weight/height: 110 lbs / 5'3" Appearance: http://deniansconde.files.wordpress....animegirl1.jpg Bio: Luna is the daughter of unknown parents. She was adopted by two human parents at birth, and she hid her real identity from them. Born a demon, she hid her powers from every mortal around her. Because no demon was around to take care of her, she developed her skills on her own, gradually learning things by the memories passed on by her ancestors. Apart from a normal education, she honed her skills in martial arts. The moment she turned 18, Luna separated from her adoptive parents for good, knowing that staying with them any longer would cause trouble. Luma moved to a new city, but was dismayed to hear that there was a top-notch demon hunting clan in the city. She just got there -- would she leave now, or stay to die? Personality: She's extremely introverted, and most people take it as her being callous. She's wary of most people and acts cold to most people, but not all. Despite being a demon, she cares are other people. She's also a sucker for animals like puppies. ((*sigh* I suffered from insomnia last night... I apologize if I'm not around a lot from the rest of the day, but I'll definitely post again... As long as I don't pass out or something  )) |
((Its ok, so i was thinking about how our characters could meet...and i came up with nothing. So if you want to think of something i can usually respond very quickly))
|
((We could probably wing it 0.0 ... I've been doing that with three other people, and it's actually working really well xD.... But if you want to work that part out, they could meet like... Maybe... My character is the new one in town and wary of everyone, and she can kinda just collide with your character -literally- xD ... And it can go on from there? The rest we can figure out as we write  ))

Rikna was in town on an errand for the clan Man this is so boring, I am twenty-two and they have me running errands of a twelve year old. He was currently picking up a ream of navy blue silk for the clans new uniforms to replace the old black ones. "Thank you" bowing to the old lady who owned the silk shop "these will work wonderfully for the clan." Paying her the amount requested he decided to shop for some new sword enhancements perhaps some new metal wires to set a trap for my first kill smiling to himself "How much for the wires?". The shop keep immediately responded "It is five coppers a foot sir." Nodding at the reasonable price "I would like four-hundred meter, here is three gold and you may keep the change if you cut it into two two-hundred meter lengths. I will be back..." suddenly getting bumped into from behind dropping the silk onto the ground, luckily it was protected by another cloth. "Who did this, I will..." when he saw the young face his mood changed immediately "are you ok miss?"
((Just to make it easier for me to read could you bold the text)) |
((no problem ^^))
"I hate these towns..." Luna murmured to herself. She had finally turned 18 and escaped from her adoptive parent's house. She didn't want to cause them any problems... What with the things she could do. "They were stupid to adopt a random baby anyway. I don't even look like them. I'm... I'm disgusting and pale and a monster," she continued to whisper. "But, I think I have bigger problems now..." The issue? She was lost -- just like usual. Luna was horrible with bigger towns like this. At a rate like this she would -- BAM. "Oh, what the...A-Ah! I'm sorry." She'd just bumped into someone; a handsome someone, and she couldn't deny it. The mortal was quite the looker. But even that didn't change her usual monotonous tone. "I'm fine. I'll get the silk." After picking it all up and handing it to that man, she proceeded to just walk away and act like it never happened... |
"Wait..." racing after her "you look lost, and what sort of honor would i have if i didn't help such a beautiful lady such as yourself find your way around my home." Realizing what he had just said "i mean the city, not my house." Rikna's face immediately turned five different shades of red as he was walking next to the beautiful girl. "If you'd like i could give you a tour of the city miss...I'm sorry i don't know your name." Bowing very politely to her "My name is Rikna Loway, but rikna should be more than enough." Still blushing she has beautiful eyes.
|
Luna looked at the man and uncharacteristically smirked. "Thank you... Rikna." Saying his name felt weird to her. It was the first time she'd addressed someone so informally.
He's an odd character. At least he seems sweet and not like someone who wants my head cut off. "My name is Luna Ellysan," she replied, bowing her head. "I am lost, just like you guessed. I'm horrible with large towns like this. It's so crowded and --" Suddenly, Luna was accidentally shoved very hard, and she collided straight into Rikna, causing him to drop the silk again. But this time, it landed in a small patch of mud. "Ah, Rikna, I'm so sorry! I'll go pay for more, I promise. God, I can't even stay on my damned feet..." she scolded herself. |
Rikna really thought she was very pretty but obviously a klutz, "Its okay i have enough money to pay for the new bolt of silk." While picking up the old muddy one "Well I'm sure i can find a use for this," spotting an elderly lady "Ma'am i know this is dirty with mud but i am sure that you can make use of it." The elderly woman looked at him and offered some money for the silk but rikna did not take any instead took a piece of candy from her stall, the woman just nodded and smiled showing her only tooth. "So i will go talk to the silk vendor and perhaps she will have another bolt of this color, if not i will have to continue to wear this dingy uniform," walking towards the silk vendor, "Maybe i could get you a new kimono as well" he said this quietly and aimed towards luna seeing as the were not to far from each other.
|
Luna was surprised by Rikna's generosity, but she still refused to let him pay for it again. She reached out and grabbed his arm, protesting against him. "It was my fault. You shouldn't have to buy it again. I'm sure the vendor has one more bolt of this color, so I'll go get some. And no buts." Before he could say a word, Luna dashed off to the silk vendor with her wallet in hand. Quietly, she asked for more navy blue silk. When the vendor gave her the silk, she smiled and apologized for being a bother, paying the amount the vendor requested, and then rushed back to Rikna.
"I'm so sorry, Rikna." She bowed low and held out the silk for him. |
Rikna watched her and grabbed the silk, this time holding it in his arms. "So luna should we continue our tour of the town? Or should i go and deliver this silk so that it does not get dirty?" Laughing a little inside at how true this was. "Just give me a quick minute and i'll meet you by the fountain." Right after he said fountain he left at a full paced sprint to his guild, because of his training he was almost as fast as a demon. Giving it to the guard at the front gate he sprinted back towards the fountain to find luna and pick up his wire along the way.
|
Luna merely stared at Rikna as he ran off. What incredible speed! Demon-like, even. I don't like how this is turning out... He might have special training...
But, to Luna, he was still the nicest human she ever met, and things were becoming... fun? Ah, I still don't understand these stupid human emotions... So, she waited at the fountain just as he told her to, sitting on the edge and running her hand lightly through the water. It was so calm -- it made her feel less like a monster, for some odd reason. Then, she saw Rikna coming back. "A-Ah, Rikna. That was fast..." |
"Well I have always been the fastest out there in my age group. It's my patience that needs work." Rikna was smiling at luna "so where are you from luna?" Looking around "Where do you need to go?" he just kept getting faster until it was nothing more than a blur of noises coming from his mouth as his face kept getting redder. Taking a breath and calming himself "I am sorry, this is why my friends don't like me?"
|
Luna just stared at Rikna for a second, her face devoid of emotion. Then, completely against her usually cold character, she burst out laughing, her cheeks becoming pink against her pale skin. She covered her mouth, trying to stifle her hysterical laughter. When she could breathe, Luna smiled at Rikna and said, "Don't be sorry, Rikna. If people don't like you, then they'd best start answering to me." Luna finally regaining her composure and continued. "I come from the land of Lyria in the east -- a quaint little village on the outskirts. And I am trying to find the Waynely Inn. I'm not sure if it has any vacant rooms, though. In the case that I cant get a room, I'll probably be heading back to Lyria." She shuffled her feet, looking at them shyly.
|
"Oh I'm sure that the waynely inn will have rooms. Travelers don't come to our town as much because of the nightly demon raids." Rikna was very adamant about the raids, every one in the clan got to defend the town at night as it was needed. "The raid usually happens only on starless nights, but of late the demons have been attack more frequently, and usually with more numbers." Pulling out his sword from the sheath "This sword was made from eight different types of demonic metals, demonic metals are found inside the bones of larger demons. My sword is comprised of two orcs, three dragons, two succubus and one changeling. The changelings are the rarest of all metals, i would kill for the chance to forge a new one with 6 changeling metals for they make the strongest and lightest swords around."
|
Luna choked as the man drew out the sword. She could feel her body reacting violently to the metals of the sword. A demon hunter?! He's a demon hunter! I've just committed suicide by befriending him! Stupid, naive girl! Luna forced a tiny smile and shooed away the weapon with her hand. "Now now, there's no need to draw out things like that. You'll scare someone. Like me. Haven't had any good experiences with swords," she laughed weakly. The sword was taking a toll on her even if Rikna wasn't attacking her. "I-I'm just tired of the fighting... It's enough b-bloodshed." The demon's complextion had gone pale at that moment, and she knew she probably couldn't get away with the charade. He... He's going to kill me at this rate.
|
Rikna quickly sheathed his sword, "I am sorry Luna, i did not know you had bad experiences with swords. There is no need to fear me for i protect beautiful women such as yourself every night." Kneeling before her he smiled, "If you need anything you just need to ask one of the messengers to find me and i will come help you as i am almost never busy until nightfall. But i must say goodbye for now as i need to make my new uniform."
((Hey would you like to continue this rp?)) |
(( of course I would  ))
Cocking her head to the side, Luna smiled sweetly at Rikna -- he didn't seem bad, although they were natural enemies. However, as long as Luna could keep her little charade going, everything would be fine. She and Rikna could be friends, or perhaps just acquaintances. There would be a lot of lying involved, but it was only so that the demon could keep her life. Lightly curtsying, the girl held her hand out to the man. "I'll know how to find you, then. And, there is no need to kneel before me... Keep your head high, above mine, and tower above others proudly." With that same hand, Luna gently patted Rikna's shoulder before holding it out again, feeling that it was the right thing to do. |
Looking at Luna when she held out her hand he thought it was weird, but he took it anyways "So soft..." he paused then looked at her hand, it was by far the most softest hand he had ever held "Have you ever done any work?" Quickly shaking his head "I am sorry don't dignify that with a response."
|
Luna could tell that the man thought her gesture was slightly... odd. But, then again, everything about the girl was odd. When he commented about the softness of her hand, the demon's cheeks reddened slightly, an uncommon response for her. However, she laughed at his question about work. "I have done work before, actually," she began, lightly squeezing the man's hand. "On a farm back at home. And at a traditional, old dojo of the last era. Do not underestimate this tiny woman before you."
When Luna uttered those last words, she was struck with this tingling sensation -- the wind was blowing a eerie gust over her skin, chilling her to the core. They couldn't be... she started to think. Then, she turned her head to the left, looking into the sky. And there it was: a tiny rift. The demons were coming, but why? Night was to fall much later, and the sun was blazing at that moment. What did they hope to gain all of the sudden? "R-Rikna... A demon rift..." the white-haired girl whispered so only he could hear. "It's a demon rift, isn't it? Something is about to happen..." |
When luna said demon rift his mind went to alerting his fellow hunters. "Get somewhere safe luna now!!!" he shouted as he took off for his clans fortress. Quickly running he made it there in no time, "Demons are approaching!!!" he shouted as he entered the fortress. Looking around no one believed him, but as he said it again an elder shouted at him "Demons don't attack till night fall, they are weakened by the light. Now begone before you are whipped."
Turning around he ran back out of the fortress, tears in his eyes. Why would no one believe me? Luna told me... wait how did she know there was a rift? Only those trained in detecting rifts can detect them yet she doesn't look old enough to have even completed the most basic of training's in my clan. When rikna made it to where luna last was he called out her name "Luna!!!" |
Looking at the Rikna as he ran off towards his dzzzn hunting clan, Luna clutched the edge of her dress nervously. Why were -d e m o n s- starting to come out at this time? The light was a hindrance to them -- Luna was used to it by now. But, still. Why? What was the point of opening the rift right now? With a sigh, Luna turned around and ran into an empty alley, going in deep enough to be invisible to the people on the street. She couldn't just stand by and watch as the -d e m o n s- started to infiltrate the human's world while they couldn't even see them.
Taking a deep breath, Luna summoned her powers forward. It came to her as a warm feeling, enveloping her entire body in a darkness so black that it blended her with the shadows. I call forth the shadows of night to follow my bidding... she said to herself, the night wrapping around her outstretched arms. Once she had control of her powers, the -d e m o n- used them to change her clothing -- she couldn't easily run in her original dress. Instead, the darkness exchanged her dress for the garb of her town. It was a tight-fitting kimono-esque top with shorts and arm-covers. Her hair was now put up, clasped in golden braces, feathers in her hair. This was the clothing that the tradition Lyrian warrior used to wear, and it was passed on to Luna from her master at home. The tattoo on her arm was merely a sign that she was a master of her art. Once the clothing was changed, Luna ran back out of the alley, hoping that the people in this city would recognize her clothing -- it was common for people in this type of garb to be respected in Lyria. Looking up at the sky again, she could still see the rift in the sky. The air was getting too cold. Then, she heard Rikna's voice. Crap... was her initial thought. I probably wasn't supposed to tell him about the rift since I'm not qualified by his standards or anything... With a deep sigh, the -d e m o n- turned towards the man. "Y-Yes, Rikna?" |
Looking at a girl that looked somewhat like luna, "Are you luna?" he recognized her and knew that this girl in front of him was a master of martial arts. "Wow i barely recognized you," still breathing a little heavy he smiled "so how did you know that there are demons about luna?" grabbing the hilt of his sword and some wire that he threw across the openings to each of the alley ways, his training had taught him that demons liked to use dark spaces and he wasn't going to give up the alley to them.
Looking around and not waiting for a reply from luna he closed his eyes and was going to attempt something no one of his rank in the clan should ever try. Sitting down he crossed his legs and started a chant he snuck into a training hall and stayed in the closet two days to learn. "Give me guidence, give me light, let me see those around me that lack the bright." he chanted over and over again. Soon he was able to see without opening his eyes, he saw things that weren't visible before. He looked up and saw a huge demon over head "Luna look out, there is a demon..." his words trailed off as he looked towards her. |
Luna smiled slightly at Rikna's statement -- she surely didn't look the same anymore, but she was still Luna. Either way, Rikna didn't seem to suspect her of anything, which was pretty good.
When Rikna threw out the wire, the girl had to jump away from it -- she was still a demon, and touching that thing would give her away. Looking around, Luna tried to look for a demon. In the sunlight, you could not usually see them. Luna was only visible because she was used to the light. At that moment, when Rikna sat down and started that chant, Luna clasped her hand over her mouth in shock. How could be possibly know that!? Shoot, everything I've worked to hide is worthless now. The best I can do is fight on his side now... With a sigh, Luna gave up and accepted the fact that Rikna would be able to see her dark energy inside her. Hearing the man's warning, Luna looked around for a demon, but couldn't see one. Living in the light was probably affected her senses. Clasping her hands together, Luna recited a short verse. "Let the night be seen by light!" Quickly, all the demons in the area were visible to her. A tiny smile crept onto her face as she reached behind her, pulling out two beautifully crafted daggers. "Evil... begone!" Rushing forward, Luna began to attack the demons, successfully vanquishing many of them, trying to protect as many people on the street as she could, telling them all to get inside and make sure that they have some sort of light source inside. |
Looking up at luna, rikna couldn't help but smile. Yeah she was a demon but why would she attack one of her own kind, seeing an opportunity he jumped up and unsheathed his sword fairly quickly. Looking around he found a demon who was going after a small shopkeeper and his wife. Jumping on top of the roof he dove at the demon without warning slicing its head clean off. Not even stopping to mark his kill he moved to see about seven more smaller demons in his path.
"Luna this way" he called out not even caring what his clan might think. Picking up his pace he started to slash at every demon in sight. All of this blood and bone will make a wonderful sword to match this one. After he had killed the fifth demon he looked for luna as the others in his path had run away, walking back the way he came he put a stake with a note on it marking it as his kill. "Luna where did you go?" |
