My name is DarQuis Maximillion, I am 23 years old. My college live had just some to an end about 2 yrs ago. Oh, that's right, I haven't told you about myself yet have I? I'm 5'8 with a few muscles, nothing major. My personality is described as bad by others. I love chocolate and teddy bears, hate the dark and scary things. I like hanging out with my friends who are very odd and accepting. I've known for a while that I like guys, and that is what had gotten me into this predicament. I'm late on rent and need to do something fast, else I'll be turned out onto the street, and this was brought about by my no good ex who just ran away with all my money. Damned dirty snake, now I've thinking about getting a "night job" to make up for the losses, hopefully I'll be alright. ----------------------------------------------------- "Oh God! Why did I think I could do this?" he questioned himself softly as he heard his name called to go out onto the stage, he was now an employee at a gay bar, not a strip club. But rather a bar with companions, for the opening of the night each worker did a dance for a few minutes to get the attention of the crowd and then was seated til the highest bidder managed to snag then in a quick 5 minute auction for their company. It was a rather clean and respectable establishment all in all, the owner did not tolerate any relations with customers. And would fire you on the spot if she so much as suspected anything. And now it was his turn, he plaster a fake smile onto his face and strutted up to center stage while slow sensual music came on. "Our newest companion for you all is... Purity, Pure for short. His color is white and his auction shall be last! Don't miss this chance to have the newbie all to yourself!" the emcee let out over his mic, not drowning out the music but letting everyone know that he was indeed for sale. @ Sikira_Uchiha |
My name is Kyoto Fumetsu, and I'm a vampire....and before you even dare to ask, NO! I do not sparkle! I was turned many years ago but do to my immortality I never look a day over 25, my age when I was turned. I don't have very many friends, just a couple who I have remained in contact with since leaving my coven. I'm 5'8", I was strong when I was human and even stronger now. I do have plenty of muscles and scars from fights. My personality is usually very mellow and sarcastic, unless I'm hungry, then I'm quick to anger, possessive, and violent. I've always liked men and it made my human life hell since it wasn't accepted at that time being turned was saving grace. Now I have plenty of money and time to do what ever I want with it and since I no longer hide in the closet I enjoy spending my time in bars. ********** Kyoto's head raised a bit as he heard the word 'new'. He had been going to this bar for a couple of months having just moved to a new location to avoid being found out. He knew all of the men who worked here fairly well. His gray eyes lit up at the thought of a newbie. He rested his chin on his knuckles watching the one called 'Pure'. He smirked thinking, if he liked this one enough he would bid on him, and once Kyoto began to bid he planned to win. |
He closed his eyes and swayed with the music, a hush coming over the crowd. Everything stilled around him, the white harem suit he wore made no sounds as his body moved this was and that. His arms and hips flowing gently to the music, rocking him from side to side. The dance had a sensual and ethereal quality about it. His expression was that of utter ecstasy, pure carnal bliss. The stage was big enough for his proud and deep movements. The music became soft and linting, like a lovers' whisper. And his movements slowed to a stop as he crouched on his knees, bent over backward with his head almost touching the ground, his arms wrapped around himself. An expression of sorrow and longing washed over his features. Then everyone burst into applause and he took his bows before moving to the seating area with a few of the vets.

Kyoto's eyes shone brightly as he clapped for Pure. The look on his face was one of delight and amusement. As he grinned he made careful that his fangs did not show. He watched Pure move down sitting with the vets. All of which he knew. He smiled happily to himself. He made his choice, he would bet for the new one, and he would win.

Pure smiled and chatted easily enough with the vets who complimented him on the performance, they were impressed with his sensuality and his ability to make people entranced. He shrugged and told them that it was a gift, and one he was grateful for. They laughed easily enough, but he felt uneasy; there were stares on him that made him feel uncomfortable. The eyes of hungry men, that wanted nothing but his body, but he also knew the Mistress Divine would allow none of that, and he was thankful because he didn't plan on making any attempts to use his body for anything other than suggestive dancing. It was embarrassing that some of these men actually thought more than that, but he should be used to it by now.

Kyoto smiled watching the boy finally letting his gaze travel to look at some other 'sights' in the room. He sighed happily he loved this place, for the time being. He relaxed closing his eyes thinking. He knew that eventually he would tire of just watching. Small talk would soon lead him to desire more, and when that happened he would either have to fine someone or leave. He sighed shaking his head of such thoughts for the while.

He could only smile as some of the others began to chat with him, giggling and making jokes to make him feel comfortable. They all managed to keep him out of the loop though, his name was Pure for a reason, he was very naive, but everyone loved him for it, and there was nothing that they would change about him. They'd seen the way Kyoto, who was a very rich man had watched him, and they all knew that Pure wasn't sure if this job would be permanent, so if he got tangled up with Kyoto, his problems could be solved. Not to mention saving the poor lonesome bastard (Kyoto), because they knew for a fact that the other men all had either wives, or husbands, and their spouses all knew that they came here.
They were plotting to hook Kyoto and Pure up out of sheer good will, or so they thought. |
Kyoto leaned back in his chair smiling happily once he was able to chase the thoughts of a partner away. His eyes gleamed darkly as he turned back to watching the dancers an amused smirk on his face. It had been a good and amusing night so far and it looked like it was to get better as the night went on. All he had to wait for now was the bidding a sense of anticipation was beginning to build in him.

Pure shifted a little uncomfortably in his seat then turned to give a cute and innocent smile towards his audience, which made them give a few hoots and whistles. He shifted his eyes towards the Mistress who smiled out at her patrons peacefully. She then gestured a bit towards Pure. "This young man here is now up for auction, remember your manners gentlemen, and give him the benefit of the doubt. We shall start at 1000!" she called out with a grin and then the race for his attentions was on.
Everyone was betting in increments of 1000 or 500 chuckling and joking as the price steadily rose. When it reached 25,000. The man had thought that he had won, until some new patron called out, "50,000!" Everyone's jaw dropped, that was the most paid for anyone's introduction here, they were both admiring the man and a appalled at this, and then they settled into silence. But then while everyone had their eyes fasten to this man, they forgot Pure, who looked desperately at Kyoto for some reason, pleading with tear filled eyes to save him. He didn't want to be with that man for some reason, and he oddly enough knew that Kyoto was someone who would be very kind to him. Please let him be picked by Kyoto! "..." he said nothing as he continued to stare at the man he viewed as his savior. |
Kyoto stared at the man growling a bit. The price was high but Kyoto wasn't fazed he could easily out bid the man. He turned his head to Pure as he felt his pleading stare. He met the boy's gaze easily giving him a gentle smile. He nodded his head as if to say don't worry I have this covered. He gave him a small wink before clearing his throat loudly, " 100,000..." He said smoothly a small smirk on his lips his eyes gentle and sly at the same time as he spoke.

Everyone's mouth dropped open as the Mistress stared wide eyed at the two men and then in a shaky voice called an end to the bidding. The other man hadn't bet higher than that, but he looked as though he wouldn't be thwarted yet. Pure gave a sigh of relief as the Mistress and Kuhi (the top guy there) escorted him from the stage to his own little area where they then came back to get Kyoto to give him a seat as well, they bowed and then let the gossamer curtains flutter shut as they then went back to the bidding, the glass that kept the noise away shut, and then they could hear nothing but each other, Pure shifted nervously. "T-thank you..." he said, in a low voice.

Upon seeing the other man's look Kyoto flashed his fangs at him making sure that no one else could see of course. He followed Kuhi egarly smiling as he sat down. He grinned at Pure as he spoke. "It was a pleasure...besides I know that man...and he has no right to hold audience with some one whose name is Pure..." he chuckled lightly. One hundred thousand wasn't even close to the price would have paid for the chance to talk to this boy.

"So what give you the right?" he asked softly, with genuine curiosity, though he then realized he said that to a man he'd basically begged to save him, but he wouldn't let go of his pride. Of course he was grateful to the man, but he also knew he didn't want him to think that he owned him because of the OUTRAGEOUS amount of money that he'd spent on his company. DarQuis was a rather independent individual and never liked to be indebted to anyone. So he'd make sure to thank this man. "I'm sorry for that and thank you, my name is Pure, but I'm very much not sometimes. But what is your name?" he kicked his feet idly, wondering if he could be friends with his Patron. Well he hoped, he knew right now, his trust in partners was very much shaky, and right now, all he was ready for were friends.

"Nothing truly..." He said honestly, "I just happened to see the look on your face and help you out...don't think your indebted to me..." He said shrugging. Kyoto smiled, "My name is Kyoto Fumetsu..." He said gently, "I am sure though that you are far Pure than most here...however I won't speak bad of the other men...most of them are good friends of mine..." he said chuckling a bit. |
(Well it would be, wouldn't it? And yes, I completely say that makes sense, well other than like a cumulative thing, cuz think about it, being with someone [for life] or caring for your child, you'll spend at least that much... if not MORE :p)
"They are a bit, um... perverted, I guess you could say. But they're very good to me, I..." he broke off and then smiled gently, pulling his walls up about himself, he didn't want to tell him that, yet if he ever did. "I'm grateful to both you and them, so thank you again." he stretched out a hand to shake Kyoto's; he had an interesting name, and for some reason it just made him all the more intriguing, this rich man who would save him just because of a look, who had money like that to blow, and was actually WILLING to spend it just to TALK to him... God what was this world coming to, but since it helped him out greatly, he supposed he shouldn't wonder too much about it. |

Kyoto laughed merrily, "Yes they are quite!" His eyes glinted for a moment as his voice trailed off. He smiled gently, "There is no need to feel grateful...I should be the one who is greatful for being allowed an audience with you..." He said smriking as he took Pure's one hand in both of his and shaking gently, "Though I do wonder why some one like you came to work here..." He mused out loud. He cleared his throat dropping Pure's hand, "You don't have to tell me if you don't wish too..." Kyoto smiled, "We could speak of some thing else if you wish..." |
"It's not something I feel comfortable discussing actually, but anything else is fine..." he said the last part cheerfully, giving Kyoto a full on smile. He already trusted and liked the man, which was good. He could make a very good and precious friend from this, and that was a good thing. Everything was on his terms, and he felt safe knowing that. He thought for a few seconds before coming up with an idea. "How about we play truth or dare, no lies only the truth. But to decide, we play Jan Ken Pon, and the winner gets to choose truth or dare and then the truth or dare itself?" he smiled eagerly with all the enthusiasm of a little kid about to go out to play.

Kyoto chuckled hearing Pure's offer, "Of course! It sounds like it will be fun! And a great icebreaker too!" he smiled merrily. He was happy to see the energetic look on Pure's face. Kyoto leaned back in his seat interlocking his hands placing them just below his chin, "So shall we begin?" Kyoto knew he would have to be careful with some of his answers, as he always did in social settings with human. Afterall if he told the truth for everything he would be staked...or scare people off.

"Well, maybe a countdown to it? 3.....2.....1..... GO!!!" he giggled as he threw out his hand, symbolizing paper and hoping that he hadn't lost while he thought up the possible questions and dares he could make him do. Oh this would be fun, if he won, he could make him quack like a duck, dance the chicken dance, tell him his age, tell him how he had so much money! The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed, he really wanted to know more about Kyoto, and hoped that even if he didn't win any time tonight, he'd get to find out about him in the future, he sorta wanted to pay him back for his assistance with getting away from that creep.

"Darn!" Kyoto said as he had thrown his hand as a rock, "Ah well you get to go first Pure!" he said chuckling as he looked amused at the other. He could have won with his reflexes but he wanted to play the game like normal people would. It was more fun that way, not to mention fair for Pure. On top of that Kyoto hated to cheat in games.

"Well then, hmm... Do you consider yourself a good person?" he asked softly and tilted his head, though his hair wasn't extremely long, it wasn't extremely short either; when he tipped his head to the side his hair followed and made him look almost like a bunny. He smoothed his hair and righted his head as he smiled at Kyoto, though his theatrics were over the top, he suspected the man really wanted to play, which made him feel happy for some odd reason, he didn't really know him, but the thought of them being silly together only brought an even bigger smile to Pure's face.

"Well now...that is a question..." Kyoto sat still for a moment debating, "I suppose it comes to an opinion...I believe I am a good person. I've made a fair number of mistakes in my life...hurt people..." He looked down thinking. "I've done bad things...when I needed to survive, when I was struggling to live...I don't think that makes me a bad person..." Kyoto frowned his eyes filling with clouded emotions. After a moment of sitting like that in silence Kyoto gave a sigh and force a winning grin, "but enough drearyness..." He said chuckling. |
Well that hadn't gone exactly too well. He was sure that he hadn't meant for it to turn serious. and he felt he needed to bring the jolliness that they'd felt just a little while ago back. It was difficult when one received an answer like that, but what could one do? They could either ignore it and continue or press the issue. As he didn't know Kyoto too well, he decided that the change of subject would be fine for now. "Well it's the next Jan Ken Pon to decide then..." he said with a shy and small smile.

Kyoto grinned happily, "Yes it is..." He said getting his hand ready for the next round, "Ready?" He asked with a smirk. Next time he promised himself that even if he had to lie he wouldn't make his next answer to much of a serious one. He didn't want to scare off the boy afterall.

(Okay, we can either time skip to the end and have each of us recount what we told the other for ease, or go all the way through this... but it's tedious!)
He wanted to wait this time for Kyoto, he would attempt to throw his sign after he did in the hopes of seeing how his mind worked. It possibly wasn't his smartest idea but well, he'd had worse. Like being with his previous boyfriend, at which this caused him to mentally punch himself in the face. He couldn't think about that while with a customer, it was very rude. Besides, he wanted to give the mysterious man in front of him his whole attention. |
