From there his parents became regular sponsors and even his sister became a Tech, only first generation at that moment. They basically all just moved around a lot to where they were needed and it was natural that Michael end up in the line up as well. He normally hid is talents from people, not wanting to join, but it was impossible with his expecting and pushing family. He then got requited as a Hunter, first Generation.

  • Cayden sat patiently on a rather old wooden bench that lived it's life in the airport of Lincoln, Nebraska. He'd been sent here by Linda Coneroy, one of the heads of the organization, to have a small rendezvous and to meet his new trainee, Micheal Nolan. He'd been told that Micheal's family was pretty involved with the organization prior to his recruitment six years ago. The family was full of Techs and Sponsors, though. Micheal was the first hunter to show up in their household. He was curious about that, quite a bit. While Cayden knew a fair share, there wasn't everything. Generally, only the most experienced of the Techs, and the longest Sponsors were told the dirt the organization hid from nearly every individual signed to them, loyalties thrown out the window.

People walked and rushed on right by him to catch their flights to wherever, and Cayden spied expertly on nearly every individual that came close enough. None of them fit the description he was given to by Linda, and he wondered how long his patience could last, for he'd been sitting on his ass for at least two hours now, and it was beyond dead.

foxotanashi 12-12-2012 07:21 AM

Michael slung his dull grey bag over his shoulder as he got out of his seat. Before that day he would easily be able to tell anyone who asked, that he absolutely did not want to become a Hunter. He knew what they had to go through. He knew enough about the life of the Sponsers, Techs, and Hunters as well, to know that it just was not him. It just so happened that his family was laced into the organization so it was near impossible that he would have been able to live a simple non-organization life. It didn't help that he was very capable, the only capable one in his family that he knew of, to become a Hunter. Most of his family were smart, which was good for any aspect, but were not very athletic or agile. His sister was quite the opposite and often clumsy.

As he passed people headed the opposite way, Michael kept his eyes out for the person he was meeting. The more he realized he couldnt' change the way things were going for him, things started looking better. So it was this day when he couldn't fully say that didn't want to become a Hunter. He had never once heard that the life of a Hunter was boreing, so maybe it wasn't all bad. 'This will work out just fine' Michael thought to himself and looked around.

Kimra 12-12-2012 04:47 PM

  • Brown eyes now scanned the tops of head, and a slight mess of black hair sprouted out above others. As he recalled, Micheal was on the taller side, and was just barely shorter than himself. This just might be him. Cayden knew not to get his hopes up over this, or let the feeling of relief flood into him. These were things he began to learn to control as he grew older.

When standing, those formerly unwelcome emotions were guided in and he let out a much needed sigh. "Hey! Nolan." His voice rang out over the crowd and he turned a few heads, but they didn't seem to bothered as they turned away as quickly as they had looked, and he wasn't exactly yelling. He threw on something of a grin and maneuvered his way through the crowd. "Hey. I'm Cayden Baikov. Sure took you awhile, eh?"

(( Lol. Thus begins the Canadian stereotype :P Now I'm hearing a ridiculous accent when he isn't even suppose to have one at all XD ))

foxotanashi 12-12-2012 06:35 PM

  • Michael was filing through the people walking around when his name was called. Several other people looked but since it had nothing to do with them, went on their merry ways. His blue eyes met Caydens and he smiled slighty and stuck his hand out for a shake.

"Ah, traffic and people. Never should be underestimated when slowing you down to meet someone else. It never fails," Michael said chuckling a bit. So this was the guy. This was who was going to be his trainer. He wasn't sure what it was, maybe a look in his eye, but Cayden looked very capable at training him, fighting, and killing.

That was the thing about the Organization. Most places, like the army, would train in bulk. A lot of the Organization was trained one on one. It helped Hunters learn to fight in groups in early on and focus on certain aspects when needed. They weren't fighting army's or legions, but most often smaller groups.

Kimra 12-13-2012 12:38 AM

  • "Yeah, that's for sure." He replied as he took Micheal's hand and gave it a strong shake. "Come on. We're gonna have to go somewhere more secluded than this. I don't really want to be labeled "One of the Crazies" around here in town right yet." He said as he gestured for Micheal to follow. He wouldn't doubt this would be an interesting experience. He wondered how much he learned from the organization itself, or how much he actually knew behind their vaults and secrets. "Mind if I ask where you came from to meet me? I flew over from"Idaho, myself."

He'd been hunting, as expected. The life of a hunter was a very active one, without little break or vacation. It had been a fairly easy adversary, with little intelligence and slow movements. After his encounters in Nevada a few weeks before, he'd been expecting far more. Recently, there had been reports from other hunters about the monsters growing smarter, and showing up in big groups. He'd been lucky enough in Nevada to come across another hunter, or else he knew he'd have been finished... He looked to Micheal, and eased his mind. That was the past and he had other things to get started on.

foxotanashi 12-13-2012 01:06 AM

  • Michael began to follow suit, heading along side Cayden. "I came from around New York, New Jersey area. It's starting to get a little cool there," He commented as they left. "It's where most of my family is stationed at the moment. But who knows, that's bound to change sometime," They had moved a few times before, but finally got to go back to Caldwell. It was basically like living in the Military, but more underground.

Michael looked down and back up as they exited. "So do you have any specific places in mind to go?" He asked. Cayden was the boss, after all.

Kimra 12-13-2012 04:12 AM

  • "I've got a nearby motel room booked. Probably stay the night and go over some things and leave in the morning.. Er, don't expect a whole lot. I was short on cash and it was the most affordable thing I could get a hold of." He replied and furrowed his eyes slightly. "It smells a little funny, too." He then shuddered. "Pretty sure the person staying next door is keeping a few bodies under the bed, and that's what gives it the putrid ass smell." He then made a smooth hand gesture. "Don't worry though. I bought some Febreze. Just gotta douse the place in it so we don't suffocate tonight."

foxotanashi 12-13-2012 04:29 AM

  • Michael couldn't help but start laughing at the scene built up his mind about the motel. It seemed like something he would say. He thought that he might just find out that he would like Cayden. At least they didn't put him with someone too serious and new to how to at least joke around a little.

"You know, my family is practically half the sponser team, or lab techs. So I have a decent amount of money. We can get ourselves bumped up to a better suite or something," Michael offered. He then looked over to Cayden. "So does the Organization not pay Hunters too well, or what?"

Kimra 12-13-2012 05:19 AM

"Well, no, not really. We get enough to live, but to not really indulge, you know? A lot of the money goes to equipment, tools and researching. Then we're on the move so much, we can't sit down for a little and take a part-time job to earn some extra cash for ourselves. It sucks every so often, but, it's the way life is for me, and I help people live and get rid of the boogie man, so I don't complain much." He replied as they walked along the street. He looked around a little bit and then back to Micheal. "I wasn't kidding when I said it looks like the neighbor has some bodies under the bed. He acts suspiciously, and it could just be a false alarm, but I don't want to risk it being something serious that went under my nose."

foxotanashi 12-13-2012 05:24 AM

  • Michael walked silently for a little while beside Cayden. He could see where there were the perks and downsides to being a Hunter. He never really saw himself as the savior type. It didn't help that he never felt like he had anyone he really wanted to save. His family was so in tight with the Organization that he was sure they would be protected for much time to come. He really hoped that he would gain an appreciation for the job, that was for sure.

"So....," Michael started not sure if Cayden wanted to really talk much about it, "Would you wish you could do anything else besides being a Hunter? I mean, as you can probably tell I'm not like most other eager and ready recruits." Michael was just one of the guys that went where life took him. And now it was making him a Hunter.

Kimra 12-13-2012 06:05 AM

  • "Hm, anything other than a hunter? Well.. I've been one for so long, but.. I guess before this part of the world showed itself to me, I liked working with cars and electronics, so I guess Technician or Engineer might have been my decision." He replied with a nod indicating he was fairly sure of his chosen words. "How about yourself? You're family has always been apart of this, so is there anything in the outside world that catches your attention in particular?"

foxotanashi 12-13-2012 06:16 AM

  • "Well of course there are things that I am good at," Michael started out. "I mean, all Hunters have to be good at what they do pretty much to even get recruited. You can be made athletic, but you have to the brain power. Even if I'm interested in weapons, fighting, things like that, until recently I never expected I'd actually go into it. I never really knew what I would want to be. I like to... draw, though, don't laugh," He said, chuckling a little bit himself.

Michael saw the motel come into view, slightly raggedy just like Cayden had painted into his mind from the get go. "But yeah, I like sketching. I guess that is pretty chick-like compared to the things you listed and what you do and I'm learning to do now." He ran his hand through his hair and shrugged.

Kimra 12-13-2012 07:57 AM

  • He shrugged himself. "Maybe, but I'm not one to judge. People like the things they like and I really have no reason to make fun of someone else." He replied as he prepared to fetch the key from his jean's pocket. "You could probably get somewhere with it in the outside world, if you really wanted.. Eh, then again, the head of the organization probably doesn't want any workers getting to popular to the public."

foxotanashi 12-13-2012 09:29 AM

  • Michael leaned his head to the side in thought. "Yeah, your probably right. How unfortunate would that be: Great artist sneaks away at night to stalk the darkness.: That sure would turn a few heads," he said jokingly.

After they got in, Michael dropped his bag on the table and streached. "Okay, so what is on our agenda, exactly?" He asked. He knew what it took to be a sponser. Basically be rich and somehow get involoved in the fairly underground organization. To be a Tech you had to do through intensive schooling and have special knacks for investigations, DNA checks, and many other Crime Scene spotlights.

Michael knew that he needed to be agile, quick witted, fit, athetic, and the like. However he had never done much extensive looking into what else Recuites had to do. The Organization wasn't too fond of people looking into their files.

Kimra 12-14-2012 01:43 AM

  • Cayden laughed slightly at Micheal's words. He had expected something of a snob from the prestige of his family, but Micheal really wasn't too bad at all. He was fairly relieved. He didn't want someone whiny or prissy running along at his side. He'd met up with another hunter by the name of Sierra Dustburg, the biggest princess he'd ever met in his lifetime, surprising considering the line of work.

Upon entering the room, Cayden made a B-line for the counter tops and threw the key onto them, heading to the fridge for a Mountain Dew and his next destination, the couch. As he said, it smelt fairly rotten in the room, strongest to the left side, where the neighbor Cayden mentioned before stayed. "First thing I gotta say is we need to know each other more. Determine whether we're compatible and whatever, information I gotta send to the Techs so they know where you go in case something happens to me, next I'll want to know what you'd capable of then we wait til that slob next door is gone or asleep and do some investigating."

foxotanashi 12-14-2012 04:51 AM

  • Michael ran his finger across some of the furniture. It was a gringy type of furniture, but fine for a low type motel. Honestly it was the dank smell that go to you, but was something that would get use to quickly. He then sat in the chair across from Cayden.

"Ah, cool cool. Well information wise, like basics, I'm sure they already have most of it on file. My birthday and things like that, anyways. I mean they get everyone on file and look into them before actually requitment right? And my family already has me on record I'm sure. So anything in particular you want to know?" Michael asked.
