On the newer ones that you want feedback on .. I'd use a bigger brush to create thicker lines instead of using a small brush and scribbling it in to a thick line. Using darker shades of the colours...

[both opacity and flow jitters need to be set to pen pressure at 0% if you're using a tablet...
