I like it. If they want to make a database all of the sites I visit they can go ahead. It won't be interesting. I know of the security issues, but there's always going to be sad little gits who make it their work to find the exploits in any program. Some of the talk is just bloggers who want to pick holes in everything and get the most hits through scare tactics. :/
I'll still use Firefox as my secondary browser, if I need one. Even if most websites claim to be 'optimised for Firefox' or what-have-you I've never had a major problem. Only one website with a streaming video player said 'Please use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox' but then Opera and Safari users would have gotten that message too.
