Let's start with the basics, shall we? Now "round robin" is a term you probably know well but "a la chainmail" is probably what has you baffled. For starters it's "a la" as in "in the style of" and "chainmail" isn't that 'send this to five people or die!' sort of deal. Chainmail is a book, its full title being; 'Chain Mail --Addicted to You--'. If you're interested in picking it up it's by Hiroshi Ishizaki. This novel features four characters who through the great internets get together to 'create a fictional world'. Their fictional world is reminiscent of a round robin story, only with notably more specification to the characters in the plot. In this style one doesn't quite completely make their character but instead takes a vague idea and makes it into something more complex. I'm hoping for people to stick with this story and see it through until the end. If you don't I might have to take a leaf from a certain character's book and take care of things. :3
So let's create our fictional world. Are you ready?
