Lost Cause

Love is a truly lost cause for me.
A pointless game I can never seem to win.
I hate not having you by my side.
To hold me when I cry.
To tell me everything is going to be alright.
I always end up ruining the things close to me.
I am so tired of playing this pointless game.

I dont think I will ever resume this sport.
I can never find that someone just for me.
When do I get to find happiness?
When do I get love?
