I would have told them all to piss off. I don't see a lot of that stuff in Edmonton, but sometimes things like that happen.
I was on a bus once, and it was a school special public transit bus. So most of the people on it were kids from my school, but this older lady got on and then she got off, but right when the door was about to close on her, she rushed back in, screaming, and slapped one of the girls!
Then she started screaming obscenities and nobody was saying anything. So I stood up and was like, "I've seen enough, get off the bus now." And she was all, "What are you going to do about it?" kind of thing, but as soon as I had said something, the bus driver and several guys got up and got her to leave.
So next time you see something like that happen, instead of watching it unfold, speak up. It's just as if you spit on the guy too.
