((I understand that now.... I didn't see that mentioned in the intro. Yes, I AM rather shy, but unfortunately I'm also prone to moodiness, depression, and ADHD. When I created Sorin it was after a fight with my fiancee so I wasn't in the best of moods. Now that we made up I don't feel the need to vent through my writing. So yes, Sorin IS going to get an attitude adjustment. I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.))

Sorin drummed his fingers on the table and sighed, the place was OK.... The food was decent enough..... The service was slow.....

He ignored man who brought them their desert, muttering, "Wanker....," as soon as the man left so it wouldn't be heard by anyone but Selene.

Selene had had enough of his attitude.....

Selene fidgeted and sighed, "Y-You shouldn't b-be so mean to p-people....."

"They're beneath me."

"T-They are not!"

"Why should I be nice when nice guys finish last?"

"I-I'm nice and I-I was valedictorian. I-I finished F-FIRST of my class.... A-And that's with t-tutoring people in E-English! Do y-you really b-believe that I will f-finish last?"

"No.... But people expect you to be nice.... You're not going into business....."

"You d-don't sound l-like you want to be i-in business....."

"Honestly? No. I hate it."

"Then why study i-it?"

"My father.....," he sighed, "Do you even know who my father is?"

Selene shook her head no.

"He is Apollo Sonnen, founder and president of Sonnen Inc. That big ugly building that ruins the skyline? Is his technology company. He'll cut me off if I quit!"

"S-So quit. I-Its better than being u-unhappy and making e-everyone around you miserable! No one i-is below you s-so you have no r-right to treat them as d-dogs just because you are frustrated!"

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "Maybe you're right...."

"You don't n-need to live like a-a king to be happy."

"How would you know Miss Tsukino? Isn't your father, Daichi Tsukino, a famous violinist? And your mother, Lupine Tsukino, a famous ballerina?"

"H-Hai....," Selene blushed, "But I have f-friends who went to C-Cambridge on scholarship. T-They were not wealthy. B-But they were h-happier than I w-was in many ways. People expect me to b-be great l-like my parents, but-"

"You are," Sorin interrupted, "I saw your work in that gallery opening that Cambridge had. It was so beautiful even my father bought a painting. The one in the forest with the angel, the full moon, and the werewolf..... Even he seemed moved by the love they shared...."

"H-He's the one who bought "You Are My Love"?"

"Yeah. See? You DO have talent...."

Selene fidgeted, "I-If you say so...."
