It is best if you plan on staying around of any period of time. Then you ought to have someone around who can help. I know the places where we can find food and water.. You've found shelter already, but I know you wont find anything in here." Angel pointed out to the woman, then gingerly he held his hand to her, "I'm Angel, and if I was dangerous I would have already attacked. Well if I was any danger to you or your smaller friend." He was trying hard to make a valid point, and he did know the better places for food and water. He pretty much thrived mainly in the area the girl and child had decided to rest in. In his mind he held a very valid point, if he wanted to cause trouble then he would simply attack already. What point was there in trying to get someones trust if he wanted to hurt?

It maybe a naive point of view, but Angel did not see any flaws or shadows in the reasoning. The brutes in the area were mindless hulking masses of muscle and flesh. He had yet to face an intelligent foe, then again he lived in a place of little regards to those seeking to expand their territories and or destroy the abominations that science had created. With the barrenness it was a wonder why anything would still be hanging around the rubble of nothingness.
