Sitting down beside the river bank, Eric Blake sighed as he looked into the pool. "Why can't I find her?" he whispered to himself, annoyance coating his voice. Cupping some water into his hands, Eric took a long drink from the pool before standing.
It had been many years since Hades had seen his beloved wife Persephone. In the human world, he was forced to live without her for nineteen years without a choice. Now that he could travel on his own, he was still barred from her. Why was her spirit not calling out to his? Did she not remember him? Did she only agree to this to get away from him? Did she not love him like he believed? Was she even alive?
There were so many possibilities as to why she could not feel him searching. Hades had nearly given up hope when as he was walking back from the fields of Sicily, a voice permeated his mind:

"...Have you got this feeling.. That someone out there was waiting for you...? Lifting a dark cloud over you that was waiting to snatch you away to him...?"

"Persephone?" Eric whispered as he strained to track the voice. Locating it in his home-country Britain, Eric couldn't keep the school-boy grin from his lips as he started running, his God-like powers transporting him to Britain in a matter of moments.
Searching the streets, Eric looked for his beloved bride. Surely he was not mistaken. Surely she was here. Surely he would find the one woman he had ever loved, the one woman he had ever wanted; his beloved wife Persephone.
Would she know him? Would he be able to recognize her in her human form? Would she recognize him? Now his thoughts worried to the 'what if's as he traveled through the streets, straining to track the human who spoke.
