Rayvin didn't take notes because he remembered everything that he sees, so insted he payed attention to the lecture and made mental notes. He was excited to get a chance to go into the woods and practice his arts; Ray already had a good understanding of geomancy so he expected himself to do well.

When the teacher asked if there were any questions Rayvin looked around the room and then saw that there were none and so he got everything prepared for the demonstration and practice they were about to recieve.
