Nuvy continued to try and bat away the staff's attacks as best as she could. "I would die first before I let anyone try to copy me!" She growled the words back at the mistress making it a promise rather than just a simple statement of words.

Once she had withdrawn the staff and left, Nuvy hadn't bothered to look at this woman. Her breath came fast and heavy as her brow had a slight dampness to it. She was beyond her usual state of rage of this point. This witch could think what she wanted about Nuvy. Could make whatever threats she wanted about Nuvy, but she knew that eventually someone stupid would come along and purchase her and she'd be rid of this place and the many masters here. Licking some of her wound son her arms she thought more bitterly towards these people above her here.

Her collars were right despite what others thought. Master Vincent had guffawed at the idea of her actually being loyal to someone. She was fully capable of it, if there was someone who could actually challenge her enough and deal with Nuvy she eventually found respect for some and became fiercely loyal to them.

Fluttering her wings angrily as best as she could again, she settled to a far corner of the cage. Her hoofed legs brought close to her chest as her chin rested on them, her arms wrapped around herself. She knew she had brought all of this upon herself but she couldn't help slipping into a melancholy state as her wings wrapped around to guard herself from view. She thought about one mistress whom she had had. Nuvy had raged in the beginning and fought her till one day things just seemed to click in place after that she was loyal and rarely had any outbursts with her mistress. That all came to close when the poor woman was assassinated. Nuvy of course pursued them and eventually found them, giving them a slow death with her special gifts.

After that, it was back to being passed through the market, then to a new master, then back in the pans. Still people continued to feed her an addictive drug that began to rot away her brain, it was probably this that caused the battling emotions in her. She was slowly losing her mind.

((Thought I'd give Nuvy some more depth to her character and a little explanation to her orange collar. n.n))

"Ah back to work." She sighed with a slight smile as she left her wing of the castle and making her way down to the slave rooms. She was curious to see if there were any new arrivals or any other mishaps that she should attend to for the moment. She was slightly surprised to see that they had gained quite a good number more since she had last been in the night before. It was still morning of course, but slowly progressing it's day hours to mid-day then later to dusk.

She began to walk the room seeing that the notorious Nuvy was huddled in a ball with her wings wrapped around her. She paused outside of her cage unsure of what to make of this, completely unaware of what had happened during the earlier portion of the day.

Deciding not to worry about it, she'd find out soon enough she continued on to one of the newer arrivals. The purple haired female had attracted her. She seemed to have a different presence about her as Aya stood studying her features. It was then that concern wrinkled her brow as she asked, "Are you alright?" The female seemed to not be moving very much and this made her worry. "Is she sick?" She thought. That was the last they needed, another outbreak of a plague that spread through the castle and wiped out a good portion of the slaves and their workers. They had also lost a few masters to the bloody thing, and Vincent was in a vehemently angered mood for what seemed like months before things returned to normal.
