It had been another late night. Another night where Dios Luken came stumbling through the door at an ungodly hour and receiving possibly an hour or two of sleep before having to rush out the door for work. It wasn’t by choice that Dios was the least popular teacher in school, it was purely accidental though, he didn’t have the time to dress nicely, put in contacts or even bother with brushing out his hair. He was just in such a rush every morning that he didn’t really care about his looks, and he was so sleep deprived that he came off as a little weird. His voice was soft and he stuttered and was a little clumsy because he was spaced out. A teacher’s pay wasn’t much, and not for the kind of life that Dios lived.

Dios came from a rich family, and when he turned eighteen, left his home and decided he wanted to make it on his own without the aid of his family. He put himself indebt through school to pay for it on his own, and since graduating, he knew he had to work extra hard to try to pay it back. He also had to deal with rent, utilities and grocery shopping. He couldn’t afford a car, so he took public transportation. Even though at his family home he owned a mini cooper. It wasn’t a high class car, but it was fairly nice for a sixteen year old boy. But no one knew this about Dios, he never let anyone know. But sometimes… he let his family intervene with his life.

Dios was an English teacher at the local high school. He was the least favorite teacher and he had only been working there for three years. He was somewhat tall, when he was slouching he was six feet, but when he did he dropped a few inches. He wore casual clothes with colors that didn’t match and a dinner jacket on top. He was the least fashionable looking teacher there. He entered class, everyone was sleepy, everyone was not yet awake… His late night job as a bartender really was getting to him. He put down his bag, removed his jacket and placed it on the chair. His hair was black and short. It had hints of blue in the right light, but it wasn’t noticeable at the moment. His eyes were a bright aqua color, his skin wasn’t pale, but a light tan. No one could see his real build beneath his messy clothes.

Later today, Dios would have to go on a date that his parents set up for him. He didn’t really want to go, but it was the deal he had with his parents. They could set him up with anyone they felt like and they would stay out of his hair. It was a very strange agreement, but it worked for him. He knew they would have gone behind his back and taken care of his bills for him. “G-g-g-good morning.. class…” His voice was meek. He cleared his throat, then proceeded to yawn as he moved towards the board. “P-p-please p-p-pass up your essays that we-were due today.” He was opening a book, his hands shaking as he tried to find the page to read. “Open u-up to p-page… 132… w-We are reading the essay t-titled ‘Road Rage’.” He kept his head down as he waited for the papers to come forward so he could collect it.
