We've all heard stereotypes. Germans are all drunks, Americans are fat, British drink tea and eat crumpets . Of course they're not all true, but they can be amusing. What are some stereotypes of where you live?
I'm from New Jersey. I've heard that we're all guidos and communicate with out middle finger. The latter is rather true up north, but I live in South Jersey (right by Long Beach Island for those of you that have been there). I work in a grocery store on the island, and I've had customers assume that just because I'm not from up north I'm clearly destitute and stupid. This clearly isn't true, my family is rather affluent and I'm an honors student. Some customers fit the "north jersey" stereotype perfectly, however.
How about you? Where are you from?
