@Synth; I see. o 3o I suppose they are hard on the eyes, but, they mostly just look like the rest of Nevada that isn't bordering Cali. Dayton has been improving though, visuals-wise. Once upon a time I used to live there yearsyears ago before all the new housing when I was in middle school, I think. A lot of my classmates were weed addicts and delinquents. I could see how that could be so. I never experienced anything other than weed, though. Ever. I still keep in touch with a lot of people from Dayton who are now graduated from HS, and they were/are [still] purely weed smokers.

The fact of the matter is, a lot of stereotypes of Nevada are true, just insanely blown out of proportion. I walk by a whorehouse everyday. I also love to gamble. I know a huge clump of "loose" people that are simply loose because of their surroundings. The weather in Nevada is simple: hot in the south, varying in the north. Common sense. There ARE a lot of slot machines in random gas stations I've come across. Not only is Nevada not just a desert, but it holds [the most?] mountain ranges in the country, if not a lot of them. MOST of Nevada is PURELY historical. Nevada was a huge part of the gold rush. And I'm not talking about stupid VC. It's also a very stupid state. Nevada lacks a lot of education. However, the cost of living is actually very low, depending where you are.
