Erin took the vial and looked at it quizzically, studying it carefully though she didn't seem to be protesting. Rather...she was judging. Only when she decided the potion was acceptable did she knock it back, and then hand the vial back over. As effective as it was...it also seemed that the mere act of studying the potion before even drinking it had also done a lot to calm the girl. If her choice in reading material was anything to go by, potions was something rather important to her.
"I...s-s-st-t-t-t-till st-t-tammer.... I t-t-tried t-t-to t-t-tell her-r-r-r I a-a-always s-s-st-t-tammer...." The potion had worked marvellously--Erin was calm, and no longer shaking, but that stammer left a very important question unanswered.
She hadn't stammered before. She hadn't until Snape and Harry Potter had been mentioned. There was no hiding the fact that she'd had a -very- bad reaction to those names. The question now was -why-. Especially since she seemed very keen to have the subject left -alone-.
She winced when Anemone took it so personally, though, and she reached out to the girl. Talking was still difficult, would be until her mind decided it was 'safe' to talk again, so she let her hands do the talking by finding one of Anemone's and giving it a gentle squeeze. She nodded when the girl asked for forgiveness, feeling altogether awful about having upset her so.
