Pembroke Corgis are teh shit. I want one in the worst way.

I'm a big fan of mutts and shelter dogs, though. All my dogs are mutts and they're great. I typically trend toward large breed dogs and half-wolves, but Corgis are my exception. My boyfriend has this little Yorkie that is kinda disgusting, but I think once we get him fixed and he stops randomly jizzing everywhere, he'll be a cool dog.
