Ari'yal has large green eyes as well.
I love: Shiny objects, fish (I have a little bright-colored buddy that follows me everywhere), the surface world, and the mystery of humans.
I absolutely abhor: loud noises, hot sunlight, anything too large.

"Ari'yal!" the black-scaled youth swam up worriedly. "You father has been looking everywhere for you." He cast his large black eyes over to the other boys. "And you two! Shouldn't you have something else to be doing? How dare you all take off like that!"
"It was just a small little swim," Ari'yal said, waving it off. "I asked them to come."
"They shouldn't have gone." The youth glared over at the boys. "Go home."
"Psssh," the red-headed mermaid laughed. "You're our age. You think you have the say so around here, Glave?"
Glave stiffened a bit. Grabbing Ari'yal's wrist, he shook his head. "Your father is going to be most displeased with you."
