She looked up when someone stepped in, frowning quietly as she took stock of the woman. She wasn't quite sure what she was expecting, but this wasn't quite it. She nodded politely, though, not up for a confrontation with the woman if she didn't need one. She smiled for her, but it was a tight lipped smile of politeness rather than genuine good will. "Good afternoon, ma'am. Or is it evening? I can't tell how long I've been here."
She kept her voice tightly controlled, feeling a bit like she was back in high school to be playing the game of double-speaking and double meanings. She was being polite, or at least her word choices were. But she was also highly annoyed at having to sit by herself with nothing to do, and she wouldn't mind a chance to hammer that point home.
"A distinction? You mean aside from being the chosen child, lion amongst lambs and wolf in the flock of sheep, she who is born with the Spark of Atom's Glow given in the wake of Chernobyl? No, no distinction at all. Unless you count not getting brainwashed by their bullshit." She shrugged idly, mocking the coven rather than the woman that had come to speak with her. She did -not- like what her family had gotten involved with, and she'd taken off when she'd had a chance. She'd put up with it for three years, and taken off about three weeks before Susan had caught up with her. She had no idea what was actually going on with her being interviewed.
