I just finished my second book of the year, yay! I read Lavinia by Ursula K Le Guin, which is a sort-of retelling of Virgil's Aeneid, but from the point of view of his Latin wife, who only appears in the actual poem in a few scant lines. The story is soft and ponderous in feeling, which is something I really enjoy in Le Guin's works, but if you're an action lover, I'm not sure this book would be for you. Regardless, I would still recommend Le Guin's works to anyone who enjoys sci-fi, fantasy, or anthropology.
