I have never been fired from a job. I have never had a horrible manager. I have only quit one job because I hated it, the manager had nothing to do with that.
Now, about you people that quit before you can get fired, I know in the U.S. if you are fired, you can collect unemployment. Most employers do not bother with a paper trail for being a bad employee (not saying anyone here is a bad employee). If you suspect your employer is trying to force you into quitting, call the unemployment office, let them know what is going on and they will open a case and investigate. If your hours are drastically cut, you can file for unemployment. So there is a reason managers and bosses try to make you quit. They do not want you to collect unemployment.
