At night, it has been getting down to 0 to -10 C, and during the day it is not much warmer. Yeah - no heater. My friend's family may not have much money, but their TV and DVD player are nicer than my own family's, yet they have no heater. (Mind you, my family has a pretty **** TV, but still.) Complete opposite of where my priorities would be, but none of them seem to mind the cold in the least bit.
I will be studying intensive Chinese language, and Chinese history and religion. I'm trying to improve my Chinese as much as I can before I start grad school in the fall, and Chinese history and religion is my specialty XD
Oooh! Egypt and Turkey? Those are places that I would LOVE to go! I'm excited for you - I hope you have a wonderful trip with your friend! And yes, the travel bug is EXTREMELY contagious and addicting <3
