She took the teapot and refilled his cup for him, having noticed that it had emptied. It was adorable that he was trying so hard to please her, and it made her feel all the more indulgent of him. Surely she had a spare hanjiri around, didn't she? She turned to face the hallway and barked, the animalistic sound coming easily from the kitsune's lips. It didn't take long for her one remaining servant to arrive, tripping over his own feet as he ran up to her.
A large salamander, standing on his back legs so he seemed about four feet tall, and dressed in a hakama, came running up to Leiko. She gestured towards Rin, keeping her eyes on the salamander. "Sanshouuo-chan, get dry clothes for our guest. And after you've brought them, go make a room ready." The creature bowed politely to her, then hurried off to do that. But there was no missing the way his eyes had widened at her commands, the surprise showing easily even on his odd amphibious features.
